Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role and efforts of Islamic religious education institutions in facing the challenges of globalization. Globalization has a significant impact on the world of education, including Islamic education, by presenting opportunities to expand access to information and innovation, as well as challenges in maintaining Islamic values amid global cultural changes. The research method is a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through interviews and literature studies. The results showed that Islamic religious education institutions need to implement strategies that include the formation of self-awareness, integration of Islamic values with general knowledge, and applying adaptive learning methods. This effort is expected to form a generation that is not only intellectually competent but also has a strong personality in facing the negative impact of globalization.

Abstract

The primary objectives of this research are to assess the religiosity of female students in the Quran memorization program at Pondok Pesantren Muntasyirul Ulum and to evaluate the improvement of their psychological well-being. This study seeks to fill the gap in existing literature by providing empirical evidence on how religious practices, specifically Quran memorization, influence the mental health of students in a pesantren setting. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method, the research involved documentation, interviews, and observations with 31 selected female students. Data analysis was conducted through condensation, presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification, with data validity strengthened through triangulation of techniques and sources. The findings indicate that students exhibit high levels of religiosity across five key dimensions: belief, practice, knowledge, experience, and consequences. Additionally, significant improvements were noted in various aspects of psychological well-being, including self-acceptance, positive relations, autonomy, environmental mastery, purpose in life, and personal growth. This research underscores the integral role of a supportive religious environment in fostering both spiritual and psychological well-being, offering valuable insights for the development of educational practices that holistically address the needs of students. The study contributes to the broader understanding of how religious education can enhance mental health and provides a foundation for future research in similar educational contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what is the tradition of the kayik nari beterang ceremony, the perspective of Islamic educational values ??and the concept of social status of girls. Using qualitative methodology with an ethnographic approach, this study in Air Kemang Village, South Bengkulu Regency, the research subjects used purposive sampling techniques, namely village heads, traditional leaders, community leaders, midwives, parents of bunting kecik who carry out the kayik nari beterang ceremony tradition and their bunting kecik. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation, and data validity testing using triangulation. Data analysis techniques using the Spradley model with taxonomic analysis and domain analysis, the results of the study showed the tradition of the kayik nari beterang ceremony, a circumcision ceremony for girls aged 6 to 11 years, the process and stages of the kayik nari beterang ceremony tradition consist of four stages, namely first, the event party visits the midwife to determine the day and date of the event and record what tools and materials will be needed, second bathing, third dressing up and the fourth dancing or beterang. Then in the meaning of tools and materials from the side of Islamic Education values, there are three, namely the value of faith, moral values ??and Sharia values, and the concept of social status in the kayik nari beterang ceremony tradition is an intermediary for girls to get the title bunting kecik which marks a new role in their life in society, and they have completed carrying out the customary pillars.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation model of religious moderation at MAN 1 Yogyakarta in responding to the challenges of the post-truth era, marked by widespread disinformation and shifts in religious values. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research focuses on strategic design, institutional support, and the impact of the program on students’ character development. The values of moderation are integrated into the curriculum, extracurricular activities, and school culture to shape students who are critical, tolerant, and inclusive. The findings indicate that MAN 1 Yogyakarta has successfully internalized moderation through innovative programs such as SANDI MAS, the Islamic History Tour, and interfaith dialogue. These programs have had a positive impact on improving students’ cognitive understanding, affective attitudes, and social behavior. The model reflects a transformative learning approach that strengthens critical religious literacy and pluralistic values in addressing contemporary ideological challenges. This study recommends that other Islamic educational institutions adopt an integrative approach that combines pedagogical, cultural, and personal dimensions to foster a moderate, tolerant, and diversity-oriented generation.

Abstract

The research focuses on the significant role of Sabaq, Sabqi, and Manzil methods in the Taḥfīẓul Qur’ān learning process. These methods are essential in helping individuals achieve their desired targets in Qur’ān memorization while ensuring consistency. Several educational institutions widely adopt these popular methods. The study's main objectives are twofold: (1) to comprehend how the implementation of Sabaq, Sabqi, and Manzil methods occurs in the Taḥfīẓul Qur’ān learning process at Class V Salafiyah Ula Islamic Centre Bin Baz during the Academic Year 2022/2023, and (2) to determine the effectiveness of these methods in the same setting. The research follows a qualitative approach with data collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The implementation of the Sabaq, Sabqi, and Manzil methods in the Taḥfīẓul Qur’ān learning process comprises five stages: planning and preparation, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reflection. The findings indicate that the effectiveness of these methods at Class V Salafiyah Ula Islamic Centre Bin Baz during the Academic Year 2022/2023 is satisfactory. Though some students haven't achieved their targets, the application of these methods has successfully increased students' engagement with the Qur’ān compared to previous approaches. Additionally, the methods contribute to maintaining balanced memorization of both new and previously learned verses of the Qur’ān. In conclusion, the study highlights the crucial role of Sabaq, Sabqi, and Manzil methods in the Taḥfīẓul Qur’ān learning process. The research offers insights into their implementation and effectiveness, providing valuable information for educators and institutions seeking to enhance the memorization of the Qur’ān among their students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of implementing the independent learning curriculum regarding moral beliefs in MAN 2 Sleman. This research is important to describe the independent curriculum in the learning process. The independent curriculum introduced by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia aims to give students the freedom to develop their potential and interests. In the context of the Akidah Akhlak lesson, this curriculum directs teachers to focus on developing religious character and values in a contextual, project-based manner that focuses on real experiences. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data was obtained through observation and interviews at MAN 2 Sleman, which implemented the Merdeka Curriculum in the subject of moral faith. The results of the study show that implementing the Independent Curriculum in the subject of Moral Beliefs can increase active involvement in students, deepen their understanding of noble moral values, and encourage teachers to be more creative in designing learning materials relevant to daily life.

Abstract

Perubahan kurikulum disesuaikan dengan perkembangan zaman, dalam menjawab keinginan masyarakat untuk menciptakan lulusan yang unggul dan kompeten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka pada mata pelajaran sejarah kebudayaan Islam kelas IV MI Salafiyah Tanjungsari, serta problematika guru khususnya guru sejarah kebudayaan Islam dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini ada 1 orang yaitu guru Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan beberapa teknik yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik, teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengimplementasian Kurikulum Merdeka mata pelajaran SKI di MI Salafiyah Tanjungsari sudah cukup baik meskipun masih ada beberpa kendala yang dihadapi seperti belum adanya buku paket mata pelajaran SKI Kurikulum Merdeka, tetapi hal itu tidak menghambat proses pembelajaran mata pelajaran SKI di MI Salafiyah Tanjungsari. Problematika yang dihadapi guru dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka meliputi pertama, belum adanya kesiapan guru dalam menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka karena kurangnya pemahaman dan pengalaman guru secara mendalam tentang Kurikulum Merdeka. Kedua, kurangnya sosialisasi atau bimtek tentang Kurikulum Merdeka yang masih sangat kurang dan hanya dilakukan secara online. Ketiga, belum adanya pendampingan khusus kepada guru-guru dalam menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka. Keempat, Kurangnya akses terhadap materi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan pendekatan Kurikulum Merdeka. Bagi penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan siswa dalam pembelajaran SKI dan disarankan untuk membandingkan analisis penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka pada mata pelajaran SKI di 1 atau 2 sekolah Madrasah Ibtidaiyah agar memberikan wawasan yang mendalam tentang keberhasilan, tantangan dan variasi dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Al-Quran is the greatest miracle of Muslims completing the previous book that must be studied. Tahfidz Al-Quran is present in various boarding schools, formal schools, non-formal schools, to the special institutions of Tahfidz Al-Quran. Starting with applying the results of research at the Hanifida Al-Quran Islamic Boarding School, Jombang in a special class, the extracurricular tahfidz Al-Quran was formed for the regular class as a forum for the talents and interests of students. As well as actualizing the vision and mission of the madrasa in religious terms. Research focus: discussing the existence of tahfidz Al-Quran extracurricular activities aimed at: (1) knowing the form of implementation of Al-Quran tahfidz extracurricular activities (2) knowing the achievements of extracurricular tahfidz al-Quran in MTsN 3 Tulungagung. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. With the technique of collecting interviews, observation, and documentation. Through data analysis techniques: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity checking: method and source triangulation test. The results of the research: (1) program or extracurricular form of tahfidz Al-Quran at MTsN 3 Tulungagung, among others: a) deposits, b) guidance, c) deresan, d) evaluation (continued verse), and e) pesantren kilat (2) The achievements given by extracurricular tahfidz Al-Quran students at MTsN 3 Tulungagung include: a) in the academic field and b) non-academic.

Abstract

Peran ayah dalam dinamika keluarga adalah kunci penting dalam membentuk fondasi yang kuat untuk pertumbuhan anak dan stabilitas rumah tangga. Namun, perubahan sosial telah memengaruhi peran ayah, menyebabkan banyak anak di Indonesia mengalami kondisi fatherless. Statistik menunjukkan bahwa sekitar 5,4 juta anak di Indonesia kehilangan figur ayah, dengan tingkat perceraian tertinggi di Asia Pasifik selama tiga tahun terakhir. Kurangnya keterlibatan ayah dalam perkembangan psikologis anak menjadi akar masalah utama, seringkali akibat budaya patriarki yang menekankan laki-laki sebagai pencari nafkah utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis eksistensi ayah dalam keluarga sebagai tindakan preventif terhadap kondisi fatherless. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pustaka dengan analisis konten terhadap sumber-sumber tertulis yang relevan. Proses pengolahan data meliputi pengumpulan, deskripsi, analisis, dan interpretasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran ayah tidak hanya memberikan dukungan finansial tetapi juga bertanggung jawab terhadap perkembangan anak secara menyeluruh. Keterlibatan ayah dalam aktivitas sehari-hari anak sangat penting. Fatherless dapat menyebabkan dampak negatif yang signifikan pada psikologis anak, termasuk minder, rendah diri, dan perkembangan emosi yang terganggu. Sebagai solusi, penelitian ini menawarkan langkah-langkah preventif yang dikenal sebagai P3K2: Parenting Quranic, penguatan parenting terhadap orang tua, penguatan peran ayah, komunikasi antara orang tua dan anak, serta keseimbangan antara pekerjaan dan rumah. Dengan menerapkan langkah-langkah ini, diharapkan lingkungan keluarga yang stabil dan mendukung dapat tercipta, sehingga risiko terjadinya fatherless dapat diatasi dan kesejahteraan keluarga secara holistik dapat dirasakan oleh semua anggota keluarga, khususnya anak-anak. Kesimpulan ini didukung oleh landasan normatif dalam Q.S at-Tahrim ayat 6 yang menekankan pentingnya peran ayah dalam menjaga keluarga dari dampak negatif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini secara khusus bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi yang digunakan oleh SD IT Anak Soleh dalam merancang pendidikan karakter, mendeskripsikan bentuk implementasi program dalam kegiatan sehari-hari di sekolah, serta menganalisis sistem evaluasi yang diterapkan untuk menilai keberhasilan program tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus. Penelitian ini berlokasi di SD IT Anak Soleh di Kabupaten Langkat, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Teknik yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini ialah pusposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi partisipatif, wawancara dan juga dokumentasi. Data yang didapatkan kemudian dianalisis dan diuji keabsahannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan strategi, implementasi dan evaluasi yang baik maka SD IT Anak Soleh mampu membentuk dan menanamkan karakter serta moral yang baik pada siswa. Strategi pendidikan karakter di SD IT Anak Soleh dirancang secara komprehensif melalui pendekatan integratif yang menempatkan nilai-nilai karakter sebagai inti dari seluruh aktivitas pendidikan. Implementasi pendidikan karakter di sekolah ini tidak hanya berbasis program, tetapi telah menjadi bagian dari budaya sekolah (school culture). Evaluasi pendidikan karakter yang digunakan bersifat formatif, reflektif, dan partisipatif.
