Abstract

Augmented reality (AR) provides intriguing opportunities to enhance the learning experience by merging the real world with interactive virtual elements. This research aims to develop an interactive learning application using augmented reality technology to introduce human body anatomy in a more engaging manner. The development method follows the waterfall system with stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The researcher employs UML models, flowcharts, and wireframes in the system analysis and design. The application is built on the Unity platform with AR plugins such as Vuforia and ARCore. The AR model utilized in this development involves marker-based tracking and markerless tracking. Testing is conducted to measure the success level of the application, employing black box testing methods to ensure the application's usability without issues. The outcome of this research is an Android-based human body anatomy learning application utilizing augmented reality technology, with the expectation that it will facilitate a better understanding of the human anatomy system.

Abstract

Logistic Regression merupakan metode pengklasifikasi yang sangat populer dan digunakan secara luas pada berbagai penelitian. Logistic Regression dapat memberikan hasil yang baik pada masalah klasifikasi maupun prediksi. Fitur dataset yang besar mengakibatkan beban komputasi,  dan  menurunkan kinerja klasifikasi. Terdapat tiga dataset yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Bank marketing, Glass, dan Musk II. Dataset tersebut bersumber dari  UCI Repository dan memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda. Ada dua tantangan penggunaan dataset tersebut, yaitu ketidakseimbangan kelas, dan jumlah fitur yang besar. Ada dua tahapan utama pada penelitian ini, yaitu pemrosesan awal dan klasifikasi.  Tahapan pemrosesan awal menerapkan seleksi  fitur melalui recursive feature elimination, dan penyeimbangan data menggunakan teknik  SMOTE. Tahapan klasifikasi menerapkan Logistic Regression. Teknik ridge regression (L2-regularization) diterapkan untuk menghindari overfitting pada tahap validasi model LR.  Evaluasi kinerja model didasarkan pada matrik konfusi dan grafik ROC. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seleksi fitur dan peyeimbangan kelas memiliki dampak yang baik. Melalui ROC, model LR+RFE+SMOTE memiliki luas sebesar 93%. Hasil ini lebih baik dibanding dengan empat model klasifikasi lainnya, yaitu  Naïve Bayes, Decision Tree, K-NN, dan Random Forest.   Abstract   Logistic regression is a widely popular classification method extensively used in various studies. Logistic regression can yield good results in classification and prediction problems. The extensive features of the dataset can lead to computational burdens and reduced classification performance. Three datasets were utilized in this research: Bank Marketing, Glass, and Musk II. The dataset is sourced from the UCI Repository and contains various characteristics. There are two challenges associated with using this dataset: class imbalance and a large number of features. There are two main stages in this research: initial processing and classification. At the initial processing stage, feature selection is conducted through recursive feature elimination, and data balancing is achieved using the SMOTE technique. The classification stage applies logistic regression. The ridge regression technique (L2-regularization) is applied to prevent overfitting during the validation stage of the linear regression model. The model performance evaluation is based on confusion matrices and ROC graphs. The research results show that feature selection and class balancing have a positive impact. Through the Receiver Operating Characteristics (ROC) analysis, the LR+RFE+SMOTE model achieved an area under the curve of 93%. These results are better than those of four other classification models, namely Naïve Bayes, Decision Tree, K-NN, and Random Forest.

Abstract

The background of this research is that the condition of education in Indonesia is currently very worrying and quite a few disciplinary violations are found in schools, such as students still skipping religious activities (Dhuha prayers, midday prayers, Asr prayers), drunkenness, reckless driving and online gambling. as well as the current bad impacts of globalization which tend to attack and tempt students in various schools in Indonesia. The role of Islamic religious education teachers is very much needed to be able to increase the spiritual intelligence of their students. Apart from having intellectual intelligence, students are expected to have spiritual intelligence, with this, students are able to develop themselves into complete human beings by always thinking positively by responding to every incident. Increasing students' spiritual intelligence is one of the roles of teachers as educators. In this case, it is not uncommon for a teacher to experience obstacles, so the teacher must play an active role in increasing spiritual intelligence with the aim of implementing the role of the teacher optimally in school. The purpose of this research is to find out what students' spiritual intelligence is, to find out what the teacher's role is in increasing students' spiritual intelligence, and to find out what supporting and inhibiting factors are in increasing students' spiritual intelligence. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results of this research indicate that the role of teachers in increasing the spiritual intelligence of class X students at SMA Muhammadiyah Pakem Yogyakarta is quite optimal. The teacher's role as a guide, motivator and counselor is starting learning by always reciting the Al-Qur'an, guidance in reading, writing and memorizing the Al-Qur'an, Dhuha in congregation, midday in congregation, Asr in congregation, dhikr and prayer together after prayer, increasing IMTAQ, for male students, every Friday they take turns at the call to prayer and the Friday sermon, while for female students they take turns at the kultum after midday prayers Monday to Thursday and the target is to memorize 2 (two) Juz for graduation. Supporting factors for the teacher's role in increasing students' spiritual intelligence are the teacher's role, teacher and parent communication, and the student's environment. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the students' different backgrounds, the environment and unstoppable modern technology that displays negative content.

Abstract

The background of the problem in this research is the change in social restriction policy and the transition of learning from face-to-face to distance learning. This change affects the learning process, especially in the Ismuba subject at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Gamping Sleman, requiring teachers to find new effective strategies to deal with this challenge. In this context, it is important to explore how Ismuba teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Gamping Sleman face and overcome learning challenges after the Covid-19 era. This research will highlight the learning conditions before and  post the pandemic, covering changes that have occurred in learning methods and approaches, as well as their impact on student learning outcomes. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method, some interview data collection, observation and documentation with primary data from three teachers, each of whom teaches ISMUBA subjects. Secondary data was obtained through books, journal articles and internet media, which adapted to this research. The results of this study indicate that learning strategies and conditions play a role in increasing the quality of learning at Muhammadiyah 1 Gamping Sleman Middle School, including: 1) Post-Covid-19 ISMUBA Learning Conditions at Muhammadiyah 1 Gamping Sleman Middle School have changed to face-to-face (offline) this has made learning experience an increase. 2) The ISMUBA learning strategy to increase the quality of ISMUBA learning in the post-covid-19 era at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Gamping Sleman uses a computer-based e-learning blender strategy and is adapted to student learning styles. 3) The benefits of post-covid-19 ISMUBA teacher learning strategies at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Gamping Sleman provide benefits such as increased grades achieved, and students' interest and interest in learning has increased.

Abstract

Ubin keramik saat ini memiliki berbagai jenis dan motif yang dapat dibedakan, salah satunya dengan melihat kode seri keramik. Saat melakukan pemasangan keramik, terkadang banyak hal yang terjadi tidak sesuai rencana. Umumnya konsumen sering menghadapi kendala saat membeli keramik dengan motif atau warna yang tidak sesuai karena lupa mengecek kode serinya. Tujuan utama dari penelitian yang dilakukan adalah menciptakan sebuah sistem yang mampu mengidentifikasi kode seri keramik menggunakan Convolutional Neural Network sebagai metodenya dan mengetahui tingkat akurasi yang dihasilkan dalam penerapannya. Penelitian ini mengadaptasi metode Convolutional Neural Network untuk mengidentifikasi kode seri keramik berdasarkan citra digital. Klasifikasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan dataset citra digital yang didapatkan menggunakan kamera smartphone sebanyak 1000 citra dengan 10 kelas yang berbeda. Sebagai pembanding, dataset yaitu 60% data pelatih dan 40% data pengujian menghasilkan akurasi terbaik sebesar 96,17% pada data latih dan 91,75% pada data uji.

Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan, kehadiran mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran di kelas sering dianggap sebagai syarat dan standar untuk penilaian mahasiswa. Namun, masih ada beberapa universitas yang melakukan presensi secara manual kemudian direkap ke sistem oleh dosen dan ada juga presensi menggunakan tanda tangan sebagai sistem konvensional. Hal tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan oleh mahasiswa yang nakal untuk selalu titip absen, sehingga proses ini kurang efektif, memakan waktu yang lama dan kurang terorganisir. Dan oleh karena itu, untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut peneliti membuat sistem absensi dengan pengenalan wajah atau face recognition, sehingga dapat meminimalisir waktu absensi. Dalam penelitian, metode yang digunakan adalah Convolutional Neural Network. Hasil dari pengujian aplikasi menyatakan bahwa aplikasi dapat berjalan sesuai dengan fungsinya dan kebutuhannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Convolutional Neural Network, memiliki akurasi 100% dan loss 0.0097. Percobaan dilakukan secara berulang-ulang, dan meskipun nilai loss mengalami fluktuasi, akurasi model tetap konsisten.

Abstract

Desa Cibodas mendapatkan julukan sebagai salah satu desa wisata yang mendukung keindahan dari segi pemandangan pada kawasan Ciwidey. Dengan julukan tersebut, pimpinan desa telah menyediakan sistem digitilasisi seperti situs web resmi desa dan keanggotaan dalam jejaring desa wisata, namun terdapat beberapa hal yang kesinambungan terhadap promosi desa wisata tersebut masih belum maksimal karena kurangnya situs web khusus terkait desa wisata. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, diperlukan keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam mengembangkan sebuah situs atau website desa wisata pada Desa Wisata Cibodas. Dengan melibatkan beberapa akademisi di Telkom University, sebagai kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat yang akan melibatkan proses pengembangan website desa wisata serta pelatihan bagi pengelolanya. Melalui partisipasi masyarakat ini, diharapkan promosi Desa Wisata Cibodas dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat, sehingga pengembangan ini harus dilaksanakan dengan focus dan optimal supaya memuaskan bagi para pengunjung. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yg dihadiri oleh 21 orang ini adalah kelompok desa sadar wisata Desa Cibodas yang berperan aktif dalam pengembangan website desa wisata.

Abstract

The objectives of the study are as follows: to know the interrelationships between the weather components as well as Pestalotia theae's aerial conidiospore population and the development of needle blight on Pinus merkusii seedlings, and to determine the effect of nursery site on the early development of the disease. Two week's average without interval model is the most reliable model to be used for determining the interrelationship between the development of the disease severity and the weather components. Light duration, rain fall, relative humidity and temperature are the weather components significantly affect the increase of the disease severity. The nursery in Pongpoklandak, Cianjur (26,5 - 30,5 oC; RH: 92-98 %), West Java, is the most optimal location for the development of the disease. To maintain the Disease Index at the most about 25 on seedlings over 6 months old, is the key factor for the successful management of needle blight on P. merkusii seedlings in the nursery.

Abstract

Introduction to The Problem: In the modern era, students must develop strong spiritual intelligence to navigate life's complexities and maintain emotional balance. Purpose: This research aims to: (1) examine the role of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers in fostering spiritual intelligence at SMK Wiworotomo Purwokerto; (2) identify factors supporting or inhibiting this development; and (3) assess the outcomes of teachers' efforts in enhancing students' spiritual intelligence. Design/methods/approach: A qualitative research methodology with a field-based approach was employed. Primary data were collected from the principal, the vice principal, three IRE teachers, and five students. Secondary data were obtained from magazines, newspapers, and other relevant documents. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and document analysis, while qualitative data analysis was used. Triangulation ensured validity and reliability. Findings: The findings reveal that IRE teachers at SMK Wiworotomo Purwokerto foster spiritual intelligence through collective prayers, greetings between teachers and students, and regular congregational prayers at the mosque. Activities like Dhuha prayers, Friday sermons, and charitable fundraising also contribute to spiritual development. Communal fasting during Ramadan strengthens spiritual bonds and enhances students' spiritual intelligence. Research implications/limitations: This study highlights the importance of religious activities in shaping students' spiritual intelligence and promoting mental and emotional resilience. Educational institutions could incorporate such practices into curricula to support holistic student development. The research also identifies factors affecting the effectiveness of IRE teaching efforts, providing insights for improvement. Additionally, spiritual development enhances teacher-student relationships, fostering a positive school environment. Originality/value: Future research could explore the broader applicability of these findings across diverse educational contexts..

Abstract

This research is prompted by the prevalence of child delinquency cases, encompassing issues such as bullying, lack of manners, and early-age smoking.  Concerns arise regarding the potential implications of these juvenile delinquencies on subsequent behaviors in adolescence.  The primary objective of this study is to delve deeper into the Rahmatan Lil Alamin Islamic values education model based on Muhammadiyah school culture at the Muhammadiyah Flagship Elementary School.  The focus is on understanding the role of schools in instilling character values and exploring the benefits of the Rahmatan Lil Alamin Islamic values education model within the context of Muhammadiyah school culture, particularly in strengthening character values at the Lemahdadi Muhammadiyah Leading Primary School. This research employs a qualitative methodology with a descriptive analysis approach.  Data collection, analysis, and description occur simultaneously to address the formulated problem.  The research findings reveal that programs rooted in Muhammadiyah school culture,  including strengthening students' daily worship, Hizbul Wathan training, sacred footprint training, leadership training, market day, Tahfidz Qur'an, and language strengthening in foreign and regional languages, effectively instill the Islamic values of Rahmatan Lil Alamin in students. Teachers play a crucial role in this process through integration into school culture and internalization in religious activities. The various models of Rahmatan Lil Alamin Islamic values education, grounded in Muhammadiyah school culture, significantly contribute to the transformation of students' character and behavioral values. The outcomes indicate a positive shift towards humanist, tolerant, friendly, and democratic attributes among students.
