Abstract

Artificial intelligence technology offers various benefits for teaching staff, which can improve the quality of teaching and the efficiency of the educational process. Artificial intelligence technology makes it very easy for teachers to prepare materials, learning methods and case studies that are relevant to the subjects taught by the teacher. An obstacle that often occurs and is faced by teachers is when teachers prepare material and deliver material using artificial intelligence (AI) technology, so it is felt necessary to hold training on the use of artificial intelligence technology, especially for teaching teachers. Through mentoring to increase teacher competency, it is hoped that teachers can be more creative and more innovative in preparing and delivering material to students. Teachers are also expected to be able to provide examples that are appropriate to the subjects taught and adapt to the current age development of students. Learning by utilizing AI technology is also expected to be able to reduce students' dependence on social media or online games which are often played by students, apart from that students are also required to read more to increase their insight in the teaching and learning process

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis bahasa Inggris mahasiswa melalui pemahaman struktur tata bahasa yang diperoleh dari kegiatan membaca teks atau Reading-Grammar Connection Approach. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh temuan awal bahwa mahasiswa Program Studi S1 Ilmu Komputer Universitas Bumigora mengalami kesulitan dalam menulis, terutama pada aspek gramatikal dan penyusunan kalimat. Hasil kuesioner awal menunjukkan tingkat kesulitan yang tinggi pada aspek penyusunan kalimat (4,1), pemahaman tenses (4,0), dan pemilihan kosakata (3,8). Metode pelaksanaan meliputi empat tahapan: analisis kebutuhan, pelatihan pemahaman tata bahasa melalui teks bacaan, pendampingan menulis paragraf dan esai, serta evaluasi hasil tulisan mahasiswa. Evaluasi akhir menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan menulis yang signifikan dengan skor rata-rata pada seluruh indikator berada pada kategori tinggi, antara (3,8) hingga (4,2). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan Reading-Grammar Connection efektif dalam mengintegrasikan keterampilan membaca dan menulis serta meningkatkan rasa percaya diri mahasiswa dalam menulis bahasa Inggris. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di lingkungan perguruan tinggi non-bahasa.

Abstract

The learning process in Kindergarten (TK) still uses traditional media such as picture books and less interactive physical teaching aids, so children quickly get bored. Based on initial observations at Aba Jongke Islamic Kindergarten, Sleman, it was noted that more than half of the students lost focus after 10–15 minutes of learning activities. To address this problem, this study aims to design and develop an Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning application using the 4D Research and Development (R&D) model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The development process was validated by media and material experts, and tested on 1 teacher and 15 students as research subjects. The development results showed that the resulting AR application was able to increase student participation, increase learning motivation, and help them understand letters, numbers, and animals more quickly through a fun visual experience. In addition, teachers felt helped in delivering material because the class became more interactive and interesting. The final output of this study is an AR learning application for PAUD that is ready to be used as a supporting medium for learning activities in the classroom.

Abstract

The rental systems for tents and decoration services in many regions are generally still managed manually through notebooks or text messages, which often leads to various operational issues. Common problems include delayed booking confirmations, transaction recording errors, difficulties in checking schedule availability in real time, and inefficient customer service workflows. These conditions hinder business processes and reduce customer satisfaction, especially in the digital era that demands fast, accurate, and integrated services. Therefore, a system capable of automating the booking process and providing digital payment mechanisms is required to ensure faster, safer, and more efficient transactions. This study aims to design and develop a web- and mobile-based booking system for tent and decoration rentals with integrated digital payment features. The research was conducted as a case study at Karisma Arga Decoration, Ponjong, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta, using observation, interviews, and literature study to understand user needs and existing business workflows. The application was developed using the Laravel framework for the backend and React Native for the mobile platform, supporting digital payment methfods such as QRIS and e-wallets. The implementation results indicate that the system improves booking efficiency by up to 60% and reduces recording errors by 80%. Additionally, the system provides customers with the convenience of placing orders anytime and enables administrators to manage orders centrally. These findings demonstrate that digitalization plays a significant role in improving the professionalism and effectiveness of tent and decoration rental services in the era of Industry 4.0.

Abstract

This study examined the impact of high learning intensity on the speaking performance of EFL students with different learning styles: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. The study involved the 129 selected students from Computer Study Program, Bumigora University through a total sampling technique. The instruments were the VARK questionnaire identifying the participants’ learning styles, a learning intensity questionnaire assessing their learning intensity, and a speaking performance test evaluating their fluency, accuracy, pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar. Data were analyzed by using One-Way ANOVA and Bonferroni post-hoc tests to determine differences among the groups. The findings revealed significant differences in speaking performance across the three learning styles with F value 59.967, Sig. value 0.000 < 0.05. Kinesthetic learners demonstrated the highest mean score of 82.16), significantly outperforming visual learners’ mean score of 77.09, and auditory learners’ mean score of 70.80. Post-hoc analysis confirmed that kinesthetic learners performed significantly better than auditory learners with mean difference is 11.364, Sig. value 0.000 < 0.05, and visual learners’ mean difference is 5.069, Sig. value 0.000 < 0.05. The visual learners also outperformed auditory learners with mean difference is 6.295, Sig. value 0.000 < 0.05. These results suggested that the kinesthetic learners benefited most from the high-intensity learning environments, achieving better speaking performance. This study showed the importance of considering learning styles in designing EFL learning curriculum. The findings emphasize the need for integrating kinesthetic activities into instructional practices to maximize speaking performance, particularly in high-intensity learning contexts.

Abstract

Untuk menghasilkan kualitas susu yang baik, pakan ternak masih menjadi komponen utama yang perlu diperhatikan dalam peternakan sapi perah. Kegiatan penerapan inovasi pakan ternak bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan peternak di Desa Gendro perihal bahan pakan yang musiman. Penerapan inovasi pakan ternak berbentuk pelet dengan desain formulasi pakan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan gizi sapi juga mempertimbangkan dari segi biaya. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian dirancang menggunakan pendekatan manajemen proyek dengan Gantt Chart sebagai alat perencanaan dan pengendalian jadwal kegiatan. Adapun pendekatan berbasis formulasi gizi dan pemanfaatan bahan lokal seperti ampas tahu, tebon, dan cipro, disusun rancangan pakan dengan kandungan protein kasar (PK) 17% dan total digestible nutrient (TDN) 65%. Inovasi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi terhadap keterbatasan pakan musiman serta mendukung peningkatan produktivitas dan kesejahteraan peternak. Selain itu, kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemandirian peternak dalam memproduksi pakan secara efisien dan berkelanjutan

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan bioremediasi lahan pertanian di Desa Gendro, Kecamatan Tutur, Kabupaten Pasuruan, dengan memanfaatkan limbah organik lokal melalui pendekatan manajemen proyek berbasis Gantt Chart. Bioremediasi dilakukan dengan memformulasikan agen hayati Trichoderma sp. serta pupuk bioremediasi dari limbah peternakan sapi perah dan sisa hasil pertanian. Pendekatan manajemen proyek digunakan untuk memastikan setiap tahapan, mulai dari perencanaan hingga evaluasi, berjalan efektif dan terukur. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kualitas tanah dan produktivitas lahan sebesar 12%, serta efisiensi penggunaan pestisida hingga 40%. Selain itu, penerapan bioremediasi turut mendorong terbentuknya ekonomi sirkular desa melalui pemanfaatan limbah organik menjadi produk bernilai tambah. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pengelolaan proyek yang terstruktur dapat meningkatkan keberlanjutan program pengabdian masyarakat berbasis lingkungan.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to strengthen the digital marketing capabilities of tourism managers and local entrepreneurs in Cibodas Village, Bandung Regency, as part of efforts to promote rural tourism and support sustainable development. The initiative addressed the limited digital literacy among stakeholders, which has hindered effective utilization of social media and online platforms for destination promotion. Using a participatory approach, the program involved three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Training modules covered digital promotion strategies, creative content development, persuasive copywriting using the AIDA framework, and practical design skills through Canva, complemented by sessions on Google Trends and digital ethics. The workshop, held on 29 July 2025, resulted in improved understanding of branding principles and enhanced technical skills for producing visually consistent and persuasive promotional materials. Participants demonstrated increased confidence in managing social media channels and began establishing informal organizational roles for content planning and administration. Despite challenges such as limited internet connectivity and time constraints, adaptive strategies—such as content batching and shared repositories—were introduced. To ensure sustainability, the program recommends continuous mentoring, integration of performance indicators (e.g., engagement rate, reach, conversion), and advanced training on paid advertising and multi-platform optimization. These outcomes indicate that structured capacity-building initiatives can effectively bridge the digital gap in rural tourism, foster community empowerment, and contribute to local economic resilience. Abstrak Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kemampuan pemasaran digital para pengelola pariwisata dan pengusaha lokal di Desa Cibodas, Kabupaten Bandung, sebagai bagian dari upaya mempromosikan pariwisata pedesaan dan mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan. Inisiatif ini mengatasi keterbatasan literasi digital di kalangan pemangku kepentingan, yang telah menghambat pemanfaatan media sosial dan platform daring secara efektif untuk promosi destinasi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, program ini melibatkan tiga tahap: persiapan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Modul pelatihan mencakup strategi promosi digital, pengembangan konten kreatif, penulisan iklan persuasif menggunakan kerangka kerja AIDA, dan keterampilan desain praktis melalui Canva, dilengkapi dengan sesi tentang Google Trends dan etika digital. Lokakarya yang diadakan pada 29 Juli 2025 ini menghasilkan peningkatan pemahaman tentang prinsip-prinsip branding dan peningkatan keterampilan teknis untuk menghasilkan materi promosi yang konsisten secara visual dan persuasif. Para peserta menunjukkan peningkatan kepercayaan diri dalam mengelola saluran media sosial dan mulai membangun peran organisasi informal untuk perencanaan dan administrasi konten. Terlepas dari tantangan seperti konektivitas internet yang terbatas dan kendala waktu, strategi adaptif—seperti pengelompokan konten dan repositori bersama—diperkenalkan. Untuk memastikan keberlanjutan, program ini merekomendasikan pendampingan berkelanjutan, integrasi indikator kinerja (misalnya, tingkat keterlibatan, jangkauan, konversi), dan pelatihan lanjutan tentang periklanan berbayar dan optimasi multi-platform. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa inisiatif peningkatan kapasitas yang terstruktur dapat secara efektif menjembatani kesenjangan digital dalam pariwisata pedesaan, mendorong pemberdayaan masyarakat, dan berkontribusi pada ketahanan ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara Bahasa Inggris bagi siswa melalui program English Conversation Club di SMPN 19 Mataram. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah masih rendahnya kemampuan berbicara siswa akibat kurangnya kesempatan untuk berlatih secara aktif dan percaya diri dalam menggunakan Bahasa Inggris dalam konteks komunikasi nyata. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pendampingan intensif melalui aktivitas speaking berbasis kelompok, role play, dialog, storytelling, public speaking, dan simulation test speaking yang dilakukan selama delapan pertemuan. Evaluasi kemampuan dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test serta observasi selama kegiatan berlangsung.Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berbicara yang signifikan, ditandai dengan meningkatnya kelancaran (fluency), pelafalan (pronunciation), kosakata (vocabulary), dan kepercayaan diri siswa dalam berbicara di depan umum. Selain itu, antusiasme dan motivasi belajar siswa meningkat karena pendekatan pembelajaran yang komunikatif, interaktif, dan menyenangkan. Dengan demikian, program English Conversation Club terbukti efektif sebagai upaya memperbaiki kemampuan speaking dan dapat dijadikan sebagai program berkelanjutan di sekolah.

Abstract

The event venue rental system in the Yogyakarta region, which still relies on manual processes, creates operational inefficiencies and information limitations for customers. To address this issue, this research develops an Online Event Venue Booking System using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach. The development is validated using the Mixed Methods approach. This system successfully implemented the main functions of place exploration and place owner management. The effective implementation of this web-based system critically addresses issues of inefficiency and recording errors through automation. Overall, the resulting system is able to optimize operational management efficiency and significantly improve the ease of the ordering process for customers.
