Abstract

Recognizing and developing the game of sepak takraw at school basic then need to make development according to the level of growth and development of children. This study aims to develop suitable and user-friendly soft takraw balls for children. This research and development adopt the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) which focuses on developing sepak takraw for children's sports by paying attention to three aspects of quality; namely effective, practical, and valid. The takraw balls that were created have been validated by sports experts such as physical education teachers, sepak takraw practitioners, and also by respondents. The results of validation data by experts, a total score of 90% (r=.9) showed high validity. Validation data by media experts and user respondents obtained 100%  (r= 1.0) which is also high validity. It can be concluded that the newly created soft takraw balls for children are suitable for the game nature and user-friendly. The quality of the ball will reduce the cost and increase the usage among young players due to the practicality.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui kontribusi daya ledak tungkai, keseimbangan, daya ledak tungkai dan keseimbangan secara bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan lompat jauh pada murid SMP Negeri 1 Pasaribu Tobing Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu random sampling. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 07 Agustus – 20 September 2021 di SMP Negeri 1 Pasaribu Tobing Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021, sebanyak 30 sampel. Hasil penelitian dengan nilai kontribusi sebesar 4,9%. Ada kontribusi keseimbangan terhadap kemampuan lompat jauh pada murid SMP Negeri 1 Pasaribu Tobing Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021, dengan nilai kontribusi sebesar 8,1%. 3.Ada kontribusi daya ledak tungkai dan keseimbangan secara bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan lompat jauh padamurid SMP Negeri 1 Pasaribu Tobing Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021, dengan nilai kontribusi sebesar 11 %. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Ada kontribusi daya ledak tungkai terhadap kemampuan lompat jauh pada murid Murid SMP Negeri 1 Pasaribu Tobing Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 dan Ada kontribusi keseimbangan terhadap kemampuan lompat jauh pada murid SMP Negeri 1 Pasaribu Tobing Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021.

Abstract

Dalam suatu kondisi fisik yang sudah lelah sekalipun, apabila secara mental tangguh maka fisik masih bisa dipaksa untuk bekerja, namun tidak demikian sebaliknya. Melalui Workshop ini diharapkan memberikan pemahaman sepenuhnya kepada atlet, pelatih dan pengurus cabang olahraga dampak yang mungkin ditimbulkan dengan adanya penerapan psikologi olahraga kepada atlit. Metode pengabdian masyarakat yang digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah metode campuran, yakni metode presentasi dan metode praktik. Workshop ini diadakan Sekolah Tinggi Olahraga dan Kesehatan Bina Guna bekerja sama dengan Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). Workshop diikuti pelatih dan atlet KONI Sumut, KONI Medan, KONI Serdang Bedagai, NPC Sumut, PPLP Sumut, Dispora Binjai serta civitas akademika Sekolah Tinggi Olahraga dan Kesehatan Bina Guna. Kegiatan ini diikuti sebanyak 53 orang. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode antara lain workshop dengan teknik penyuluhan dalam bentuk ceramah dalam memaparkan materi berupa teori dan video film pendek yang berhubungan dengan tema yang kita ambil, tanya jawab, kreasi, dan permainan. Dari hasil quesioner pertama menghasilkan skor 172, quesioner pertama menghasilkan skor 174, quesioner pertama menghasilkan skor 184 sehingga kegiatan ini dirata-ratakan mendapatkan penilaian 66%. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa kegiatan mendapatkan pemahaman peserta cukup baik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of the formation of student character in a full day school. The method used is descriptive quantitative using the ex post facto approach. The population of this research was 117 people and 33 samples were taken using purposive random sampling technique. With data analysis techniques to see the average results of the formation of student characters using a character questionnaire. Based on the results of statistical data that has been done by researchers, students in the Full Day School environment have an average character of 88.21. From these data it can be concluded that students who are in full day school have good character.

Abstract

The article was to find out how enthusiastic Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan (PJOK) teachers in West Nias district about the process of implementing learning using the independent curriculum in 2023. The researchers used survey approach in quantitative descriptive investigations. The data collection method used questionnaire, and the data analysis used descriptive statistics with percentages. Quota sampling was used to determine the population in this study, which totaled 40 PJOK teachers in West Nias District. The number of samples was based on the number of people visited by the researchers of 40 PJOK teachers in West Nias District. The instrument used a reliability level of 0.975 which is relatively high. The result showed that the teachers with keywords have moderate perceptions of the implementation of independent curriculum learning in West Nias Regency in 2023. The results of distributing questionnaires at the SMP level in West Nias Regency have a percentage of 5% or 2 teachers have categories very positive, the percentage of 3% or 1 teacher has a positive category, the percentage of 80% or 32 teachers has a moderate category, the percentage of 12% or 5 teachers has a negative category and the percentage of 0% or 0 teachers has a very negative category. This indicates that the opinion of PJOK teachers regarding the implementation of learning using the independent curriculum at the West Nias District Middle School level in 2023 is in the moderate category, this can be seen from the highest percentage results which state that the percentage of 80% or 32 teachers is in the moderate category. Abstract

E-learning belum banyak digunakan oleh guru karena sebagian besar guru merasa strategi ini membutuhkan sarana dan prasarana yang cukup mahal, dan sebagian besar sekolah tidak memiliki fasilitas yang dipandang sebagai penunjang tugas praktikum. Dengan jumlah peserta kegiatan ini, genap 22 orang guru kelas dari SD Negeri 064983 Helvetia. Berdasarkan kegiatan tersebut, partisipasi peserta pengabdian adalah 90%. Peserta aktif bertanya dan mendengarkan berbagai hal tentang materi yang diberikan hingga kegiatan pelatihan e-learning berakhir. Para peserta berharap akan ada program serupa lagi dengan penawaran e-learning lebih lanjut dan keterampilan media lainnya. Para peserta merasa mendapatkan wawasan baru tentang pemanfaatan e-learning dalam proses belajar mengajar, e-learning juga bisa menjadi alternatif proses pembelajaran yang tidak bisa dilakukan di dalam kelas. Berdasarkan kegiatan ini, mereka semua berhasil memperoleh pengetahuan dasar dalam menggunakan aplikasi komputer dan internet sebagai media pembelajaran atau lainnya. Dengan menelusuri situs-situs tertentu, peserta dapat memanfaatkan internet sebagai sumber pengetahuan, kegiatan workshop juga memungkinkan guru merancang pembelajaran berbasis e-learning.

Abstract

Keterlibatan aktif dalam kegiatan perguruan tinggi terkait dengan sejumlah hasil perkembangan mahasiswa, termasuk pertumbuhan pribadi, pencapaian, dan kepuasan masyarakat. Pengembangan model pendidikan karakter pada kampus bidang olahraga adalah yang menjadi tujuan penelitian. Metode yang digunakan merupakan salah satu kunci dalam pelaksanaan penelitian, dalam hal ini peneliti memilih study literature review. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan artikel yang sudah diperloleh yaitu google scholar sebanyak 1 artikel, ciencedirect.com sebanyak 1 artikel, eric.ed.gov sebanyak 1 artikel, link.springer.com sebanyak 1 artikel, scopus.com sebanyak 1 artikel. Hasil penelitian dari hasil telaah artikel penelitian terdahulu berada pada rata-rata 0.3542. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan menyatakan bahwa pengembangan model pendidikan karakter dibutuhkan untuk dapat diterapkan pada kampus bidang olahraga.

Abstract

Pencak silat is a self-defense method with distinctive movements that utilize every part of the human body as a sport. These movements are organized into a set of fundamental techniques, including as blocks, punches, kicks, kicks, punches, drops, and slams, and are known as moves. Based on the foregoing, the researchers' plan for this study is to do biomechanical analyses of the Pencak Silat technique. The method used in this research is scientific journals are reviewed quantitatively in order to provide an overview of the journals' quality, maturity, productivity, and other factors. Journals or scientific publications published between 2019 and 2023 that were retrieved from the Scopus and Sinta databases served as the research data for this study. Using "pencak silat biomechanics analysis" as a keyword in Google Scholar, search for published articles using that phrase. When a research paper meets the criteria, it is gathered, and a summary of the journal is created including the author's name, the year, the topic, the sample, the methodology, and a description of the results or findings. The results of an application of biomechanical analysis of pencak silat techniques by searching literature related to the analysis of pencak silat biomechanics, it can be concluded that the biomechanical analysis that can be applied to pencak silat techniques is time, angles, direction, flexion, extension, rotation, adduction, visual focus, force, moment of inertia, rotational kinetic energy, effort.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in learning outcomes of volleyball underhand service through audio-visual media in fourth grade students at SD Negeri 123 Hutabargot Dolok Mandailing Natal for the 2020-2021 Academic Year. The research design used is Classroom Action Research which is intended to have an increasing impact on the object to be studied. Based on the research results that have been described, it can be concluded that there has been an increase in volleyball service learning outcomes through a reciprocal teaching style for fourth grade students at SD Negeri 123 Hutabargot Dolok Mandailing Natal for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. The results obtained from the observation were that 8 students were declared complete (44.44%) while 10 other students were declared incomplete (55.56%). In cycle I the results were obtained where 13 students were declared complete (77.23%) while the other 5 students were declared incomplete (27.77%). And in cycle II the results were obtained where 17 students were declared complete (94.44%) while 1 other student was declared incomplete (5.56%).

Abstract

This study aims to determine effectiveness of high intensity interval training (HIIT) in improving athlete performance using a literature review approach. PRISMA standards for systematic reviews and meta-analyses were followed in this review investigation. Studies had to be published from 2022 to June 2024. In the search procedure, the following keywords were used: (1) HITT; (2) athlete performance. Scopus search engine was used in the data source of this study. Seventeen articles were created from the 121 search results in the database that were modified to meet the requirements. Research shows that HIIT can lead to significant improvements in various aspects of physical fitness, such as maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max), functional physical performance, fitness indices, and agility.
