Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ learning outcomes through the implementation of a differentiated learning model in Islamic Education for Grade VII A at SMP Nasional Makassar. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, namely Cycle I and Cycle II. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 32 students of Grade VII A. Data were collected through observation of teacher and student activities, learning achievement tests, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques to examine improvements in both the learning process and learning outcomes. The results indicate that the implementation of the differentiated learning model significantly improved students’ engagement and learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle stage, only 31% of students achieved learning mastery, with an average score of 62.35. After the application of differentiated learning in Cycle I, learning mastery increased to 59% with an average score of 76.41. Furthermore, in Cycle II, which emphasized product differentiation, learning mastery showed a more substantial improvement, reaching 87.5% with an average score of 88.13. In addition, observation results revealed an increase in students’ learning readiness and participation, from 52% in Cycle I to 86% in Cycle II. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the differentiated learning model is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Education for Grade VII A at SMP Nasional Makassar.

Abstract

This research aims to improve Islamic Education (PAI) learning outcomes for grade XI.9 students at SMA Negeri 2 Soppeng through the implementation of the Active Knowledge Sharing method. The primary issue addressed is the low level of student engagement and learning achievement caused by conventional teaching methods. This study utilizes Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting stages. The subjects were students of class XI.9 at SMA Negeri 2 Soppeng. Data were collected through observation sheets of student activities and learning outcome tests. The results indicate that the application of the Active Knowledge Sharing method effectively enhances student participation and comprehension of PAI materials. This improvement is evidenced by the increase in average test scores and the percentage of students achieving the minimum mastery criteria across cycles. In conclusion, the Active Knowledge Sharing method is an effective strategy for improving the quality of PAI learning at SMA Negeri 2 Soppeng. It is recommended that teachers adopt this method as an innovative, student-centered alternative to foster collaborative learning. Abstract

The main problem of this research is how to empower society through utilizing productive zakat at the Dompet Dhuafa Amil Zakat institution of South Sulawesi. This study classifies the main issue into three problems: (1) What is productive zakat utilization in the Dompet Dhuafa Amil Zakat institution of South Sulawesi? (2) What factors influence society empowerment through utilizing productive zakat in Dompet Dhuafa Amil Zakat institution of South Sulawesi? And (3) The impact of the utilization of productive zakat at Dompet Dhuafa Amil Zakat institution of South Sulawesi on Society Empowerment. The approach used in this study was qualitative descriptive in terms of Case study. The results of this study were; First, the form of productive zakat utilization carried out by Dompet Dhuafa Amil Zakat institution of South Sulawesi, namely 1). Surplus Zakat Budget; refers to Amil’s zakat funds as companies’ funding by making mustahik zakat as workers. 2) In-Kind; refers to zakat funds given in the form of production tools used by mustahik to run a productive business. 3). Revolving Fund; it refers to the utilization of zakat by providing loan funds to mustahik in the form of qardhul hasan or benevolent loans.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Picture and Picture learning model and increase student interest in learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects in class VIII.K SMP Negeri 1 Sape, Bima Regency. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings, with 31 students as research subjects. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Test instruments in the form of pre-tests and post-tests were used to measure learning outcomes, while observation sheets were used to determine student activity and involvement during learning. Data analysis was carried out by calculating percentages and average values ​​(means). The results of the study showed a significant increase in each cycle. In the pre-cycle, only 7 students completed the course with an average score of 63.22 (22.58%). In cycle I, the number of students who completed the course increased to 20 with an average score of 77.09 (64.51%). In cycle II, the improvement was more significant, with 28 students completing the task, an average score of 90.64, and a completion percentage of 90.32%. Observations also showed an increase in student activity and enthusiasm. Thus, the Picture and Picture model effectively increased student interest and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes through the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model in Islamic Religious Education for class VIII.C at SMPN 1 Lambu, Bima Regency. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 23 students. Data were collected through observation and learning outcome tests, and analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The findings indicated that the implementation of the TGT model significantly improved students’ learning activities and outcomes. In Cycle I, learning mastery had not yet reached the predetermined success indicators; therefore, improvements were made in Cycle II. In Cycle II, learning mastery increased to 86.96% with an average score of 87.08, categorized as very high. Students’ participation, discipline, enthusiasm, and understanding of the material also showed significant improvement. In conclusion, the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practice of unregistered marriage and its implications for women's economic protection in Maurole District, Ende Regency, from the perspective of Islamic law and positive law. This study uses a qualitative method with a sociological and normative juridical approach. Primary data were obtained through interviews with women engaged in unregistered marriages, religious leaders, village officials, and KUA employees, while secondary data were obtained from scientific literature and laws and regulations, particularly Law Number 16 of 2019 concerning Marriage. The results of the study indicate that unregistered marriages still occur due to economic factors, premarital pregnancy, cultural factors, and low public legal awareness regarding the importance of marriage registration. Religiously, unregistered marriages are considered valid because they fulfill the pillars and requirements of marriage, but from a state perspective, such marriages do not have perfect evidentiary power. As a result, women experience vulnerability in demanding rights to maintenance, division of joint property, and economic security after divorce. From an Islamic legal perspective, women's economic protection has been regulated through the obligation to provide maintenance, dowry, and the principle of justice in line with the maqashid al-syariah. Therefore, marriage registration is an important instrument to ensure legal certainty and protection for women.

Abstract

The development of information technology has made mobile phones a vital necessity for the community, including in Topoyo City, Central Mamuju Regency. The high price of mobile phones has encouraged businesses to offer credit payment schemes as an alternative for consumers who cannot afford cash purchases. However, the practice of buying and selling mobile phones on credit has the potential to cause legal issues if not implemented in accordance with the principles of Sharia Economic Law. This study aims to determine the system of buying and selling mobile phones with a credit scheme implemented in Topoyo City and analyze its compliance with Sharia provisions. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were obtained through direct interviews with counter owners and consumers, supported by documentation and literature studies. The analysis was conducted descriptively by examining credit buying and selling practices based on the pillars, conditions, and principles of Islamic jurisprudence, particularly regarding the concepts of bai' al-taqsith and murabahah. The results show that credit transactions are carried out through direct agreements without a financing institution. The difference between the cash and credit prices is agreed upon at the beginning of the contract. However, weaknesses remain, such as the lack of a written contract and the potential imposition of late fees. According to sharia, this practice is permitted as long as it meets the principles of justice, transparency, and is free from usury, gharar, and dzulm.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative approach with the following approaches: sociological, normative theological, and juridical. The data sources for this study are interviews with the managers and visitors of Telaga Biru Park Sharia Tourism, and the people of Lempong Village. Furthermore, the data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the management mechanism is carried out by the Islamic boarding school administrators and the surrounding community, and that the sharia tourism services at TelagaBiru Park are running well with adequate facilities. However, the sharia tourism practices at Telaga Biru Park have not fully implemented DSN MUI Fatwa No. 108/DSN-MUI/X/2016 regarding guidelines for organizing tourism based on sharia principles. This is evident from the lack of facilities to separate the men's and women's pools, which are not covered, so that the curves of the body caused by the clothing sticking to the body when swimming can be seen by the opposite sex. There are also male visitors who like to swim in the women's pool when the pool supervisor is not paying attention, and vice versa.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) analyze the mastery learning model in the subject of faith and morals at MTs An-Nahdlah Layang Makassar. (2) evaluate student learning outcomes in the subject of faith and morals at MTs An-Nahdlah Layang Makassar. (3) identify the effect of the mastery learning model on student learning outcomes in the subject of faith and morals at MTs An-Nahdlah Layang Makassar. The method used is quantitative research. The population in this study was all students at MTs An-Nahdlah Layang Makassar, totaling 167. The sample used was 118 respondents using cluster proportional random sampling technique. Data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The data analysis used was descriptive statistical analysis, inferential statistical analysis, simple linear regression analysis.The results of this study indicate that the influence of mastery learning on student learning outcomes in the subject of aqidah akhlak at MTs An-Nahdlah Layang Makassar partially is (1) The mastery learning variable obtained a significance value of < 0.05 (0.001 < 0.05) and tcount > ttable (4.455 > 1.981) with a percentage of 45%> 20% meaning that there is a significant influence of mastery learning on student learning outcomes in the subject of aqidah akhlak at MTs An-Nahdlah Layang. The simultaneous influence obtained by the coefficient of determination or R^2 is used to measure how far the model's ability to explain the independent variable (X), namely mastery learning and the dependent variable (Y), namely learning outcomes. The results of the calculation obtained a value of R^2 = 0.146 with a percentage of 14.6% of learning outcomes can be explained by the mastery learning variable. While the remaining 85.4% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Learning outcomes were categorized as moderate, with 67.8% of the 118 respondents.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran karakter religius peserta didik serta peran guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti dalam membentuk karakter religius peserta didik di SMPN 39 Jinato Kabupaten Selayar. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat sebagai referensi dan bahan masukan bagi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam pembinaan karakter religius peserta didik di lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, kepala sekolah, dan peserta didik kelas VIII di SMPN 39 Jinato. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk memperoleh gambaran yang mendalam mengenai proses pembentukan karakter religius di lingkungan sekolah. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah berhasil menumbuhkan budaya religius melalui pembiasaan ibadah seperti tadarus Al-Qur’an, salat dhuha, salat dzuhur berjamaah, serta kultum bergilir. Guru PAI berperan melalui keteladanan, pembiasaan, evaluasi sikap, dan integrasi nilai agama dalam pembelajaran. Upaya tersebut berdampak positif terhadap kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, sopan santun, serta akhlak mulia peserta didik.
