Abstract

This study is a literature review that aims to comprehensively examine health and drug regulation from three perspectives: the implementation of Real-World Evidence (RWE), the application of Good Regulatory Practices for Medicines (CROB), and a comparison of health regulations across countries. Using a literature review method, the findings indicate that Indonesia faces significant challenges in integrating RWE into its drug approval system, particularly due to limited data infrastructure, regulatory gaps, and data ethics issues. On the other hand, the CROB guidelines issued by the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM) represent a crucial effort to build a regulatory system that is transparent, accountable, and evidence-based. Furthermore, cross-country comparisons affirm that strict regulations positively impact the quality of healthcare services, enhancing patient safety and the competence of medical personnel. This study concludes that adaptive, integrated, and consistent regulation is essential to ensure the quality of medicines and healthcare services, and that harmonizing policies across sectors and countries is necessary to address global health challenges.

Abstract

Traditional medicine has been an integral part of the community medicine system and has been passed down from generation to generation, and is now even more relevant in the midst of globalization. The increasing interest in herbal medicine cannot be separated from the public's concerns regarding the side effects of chemical drugs and the need for a more holistic approach to health. However, the development of traditional medicine faces quite complex challenges, ranging from the lack of standardization, limited scientific validation, to the threat of biopiracy against genetic resources and traditional knowledge. This paper seeks to analyze the literature that discusses pharmaceutical standardization efforts, scientific validation, and protection strategies against biopiracy in the development of traditional medicines.

Abstract

Sheikh Abdul Qadir al-Jailani is a great Sufi figure widely known in the Sunni Sufism tradition. His thoughts and teachings not only formed the map of classical Islamic spirituality, but also made important contributions to the construction of Sufism epistemology and the concept of guardian. This study discusses in depth how the epistemology of Sufism was developed by Sheikh Abdul Qadir al-Jailani, emphasizing the sources of spiritual knowledge such as kasyf, ilham, and ma'rifah, as well as how the concept of sainthood is interpreted as the highest realization of the human spiritual journey. Furthermore, this article also explores how his legacy of thought has implications for the development of Islamic thought in the modern era, particularly in responding to the crisis of spirituality and materialistic tendencies that are developing in the contemporary world. With a qualitative approach and hermeneutic analysis of the works of Sheikh Abdul Qadir al-Jailani such as Futuh al-Ghaib and al-Fath al-Rabbani, this paper shows that the epistemology of Sufism can be an alternative in building a more holistic, integrative, and transcendental scientific paradigm. Ultimately, Sheikh Abdul Qadir's thoughts are not only relevant as a spiritual legacy, but also as an offer of solutions for modern Islamic civilization which is seeking a balance between rationality and spirituality.

Abstract

Gatutkaca Dadung Awuk Dance at Pura Mangkunegaran is a dance work created during the era of Mangkunegaran IV with its creator NN. In its development, this dance was reconstructed by (the late) Rono Suripto in the 1990s as an appreciation of special dance in Mangkunegaran and often used in welcoming guests. The main objective of this study is to examine the character of Gatutkaca and Dadung Awuk in wayang as a basis for the creation of the Gatutkaca Dadung Awuk Dance Mangkunegaran Style. The method used to analyse this artwork is the Hawkins method of creating artwork; namely: exploration, improvisation, and formation or composition. The Gathutkaca figure became an idol because of the personality inherent in him. Gatutkaca is the son of Werkudara (father) and Arimbi (mother). Gatutkaca is a knight and is the king of the Pringgandani kingdom who has a gagah anteb (dashing) character. One lakon of wayang performances entitled Parta Krama tells about the marriage of Arjuna (his uncle). Gatutkaca is asked to look for a dowry and he met Dadung Awuk. Dadung Awuk is a giant with the characteristics of rongeh, glece, brayak, and cakrak. In this meeting, a war occurred because the dowry for Arjuna’s marriage was guarded by Dadung Awuk, namely Kerbau Pancal Panggung (White lower legs). A creative idea emerged because of the meeting in Pura Mangkunegaran, that is a work of the Gatutkaca Dadung Awuk Dance.

Abstract

This study uses a Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with wordwall media to improve student learning outcomes in science subjects. This research implements PTK (Classroom Action Research) with the implementation of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Techniques for collecting data include documentation, experiments, and observations. Quantitative and qualitative data analysis is applied by implementation in two cycles. At SDN 26 Cakranegara, 34 grade IV students and teachers became research subjects. The findings of this study provide complete cognitive learning outcomes that come from the pre-cycle with 15 students (45%), then the second cycle increases to 26 students (77%), and the third cycle increases to 34 students (100%). Therefore, it can be said that using the PBL learning approach with the help of Wordwall media can improve the learning outcomes of grade IV students of Science SDN 26 Cakranegara.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Arabic language learning management at the Al-Jauharen course institution, highlighting its advantages and potential as a model for other institutions seeking to improve Arabic language education quality. The study employs a descriptive qualitative field research approach, focusing on the Al-Jauharen course institution. Data collection methods include observations at the institution, interviews with the head and teachers, and document review. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model, which involves data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the Arabic language learning program planning at the Al-Jauharen institution begins with determining the program, preparing learning materials, selecting media, and choosing appropriate methods and approaches. Organizationally, the program involves task division, lesson scheduling, evaluation and improvement planning, student activity scheduling, and provision of necessary facilities. The implementation process consists of three stages: introduction, core activities, and closing. These structured steps contribute to the effective learning management at the institution.

Abstract

This study examines expressive speech acts in the tweets of Arab figures on Twitter throughout 2022, focusing on categories such as gratitude, congratulations, condolences, happiness, and pride. Expressive speech acts play a crucial role in reflecting the psychological states of speakers and highlighting cultural values, religiosity, and social ethics inherent in Arab society. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method, analyzing tweets from prominent figures like King Salman and the Minister of Defense, among others. Data was collected through observation of Arabic-language tweets, identifying and classifying expressive speech acts. The findings show that these speech acts are not only used for personal expression but also strategically to reinforce national identity and public image. They serve as tools for managing public relations, fostering social cohesion, and maintaining trust between leaders and the public. While the study offers valuable insights into Arabic-language social media, its scope is limited to tweets in 2022. Future research could expand the analysis to other platforms and explore the influence of political and social contexts. This research contributes to the field of pragmatics and digital communication studies.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the quality of test items by analyzing their validity, reliability, difficulty level, discriminating power, and distractor effectiveness in measuring students’ learning outcomes. A descriptive quantitative design was employed, involving sixth-grade students of Tarbiyatus Shibyan Elementary School, Duduksampeyan Gresik, during the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through documentation of students’ test results and analyzed using SPSS version 25 and Microsoft Excel. The findings reveal that most items meet the criteria for validity, as indicated by r-values exceeding the r-table or significance levels below 0.05. The reliability coefficient (Cronbach’s Alpha) also exceeds 0.6, demonstrating strong internal consistency. The difficulty level analysis shows that 68% of the items fall into the moderate category, with no items classified as difficult. However, the discriminating power is predominantly poor, with 72% of items showing indices below 0.19, and 24 items contain ineffective distractors. These results imply the need for improved item construction to ensure more accurate, fair, and balanced assessments in elementary education

Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), specifically ChatGPT, into the teaching of Arabic composition (insya) in pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) offers significant potential for enhancing the quality and efficiency of Arabic language education. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of ChatGPT in improving the Arabic writing skills of santri at the mutawassith (middle) level in pesantren. The research employs a qualitative, descriptive phenomenological approach, using semi-structured interviews, participatory observations, and focus group discussions to gather data. The findings reveal that while ChatGPT enhances student engagement and provides real-time feedback that improves grammatical accuracy, challenges such as limited access to technology, lack of technical competence, and concerns over cultural nuances and plagiarism remain. The study highlights the need for a collaborative approach involving educators, students, and AI developers to address these barriers. It contributes to the understanding of AI’s role in Islamic education, particularly in Arabic composition, and emphasizes the importance of blending AI tools with traditional pedagogical methods for a holistic learning experience. Future research should explore the long-term impacts of AI on language proficiency and cultural understanding.
