<![CDATA[Banyaknya kemelut gender yang dialami perempuan tidak menjadi penghalang bagi perempuan untuk tetap berkarya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami eksistensi perempuan Batak Toba ditengah kemelut gender. Metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif digunakan sebagai metode dalam penelitian ini. Teknik observasi, wawancara, studi dokumen dan focus group discussion, dilakukan agar data dapat terkumpul sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa walaupun di tengah kemelut gender perempuan dapat tetap eksis melakukan peran gandanya yang didasari oleh kebutuhan yang begitu kompleks di era modern. Berbagai persoalan dan kebutuhan di era modern ini menuntut perempuan mampu mengaktualisasikan dirinya secara maksimal. Eksistensi perempuan Batak Toba dapat dilihat dari aspek sosiologis serta sejarah perjalanan kehidupan perempuan di Tapanuli Bahagian Utara. Pada awalnya perempuan Batak Toba hanya mengurusi ruang privat, ruang publik didominasi peran laki-laki, namun seiring dengan perkembangan zaman kini perempuan telah mengurusi dua ruang secara bersamaan.AbstractThe number of gender conflicts experienced by women does not become a barrier for women to keep working. This study aims to understand the existence of Toba Batak women in the midst of a gender crisis. A qualitative method with a descriptive approach is used as a method in this study. Observation techniques, interviews, document studies and focus group discussions are carried out so that data can be collected so that conclusions can be drawn. The results of the study show that even in the midst of gender turmoil, women can still exist to carry out their dual roles based on the complex needs of the modern era. Various problems and needs in this modern era require women to be able to actualize themselves to the fullest. The existence of Toba Batak women can be seen from the sociological aspect as well as the history of the journey of women's lives in North Tapanuli. At first, Toba Batak women only took care of private spaces, public spaces were dominated by men's roles, but along with the development of today's women have taken care of two spaces simultaneously.]]>

<![CDATA[Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh mana tenun tradisional ulos sebagai bagian dari kearifan lokal berfungsi bagi individu dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, studi dokumen dan focus group discussion (FGD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, bagi individu ulos merupakan kain yang berfungsi untuk menghangatkan badan sedangkan bagi masyarakat ulos memiliki fungsi simbolik dalam segala aspek kehidupan. Seiring dengan produksi ulos yang berkualitas perlu pula dilakukan pengembangan kios ulos menjadi tempat yang bersih dan nyaman serta mempertunjukkan ulos yang berkualitas, sehingga pengunjung yang datang dapat menjadi pelanggan. Keberadaan ulos dalam berbagai upacara adat menjadi simbol identitas, cara penghormatan, tanda kasih sayang, dan pengikat persatuan. Masyarakat Batak Toba mempercayai bahwa aktifitas menenun ulos merupakan suatu tindakan yang diresapi oleh suatu kualitas religius dan magis. <![CDATA[The phenomenon that occurs today is that many Batak Toba people do not understand the meaning and function of local wisdom, thus causing the emergence of various social problems that hinder progress in the Lake Toba area. The purpose of this study was to determine local wisdom as a guide to the behavior of the Toba Batak community and its relevance to the progress of the Lake Toba area. This research covers the views of life, ideology and thoughts of the traditional Toba Batak people, the social system of the traditional Toba Batak people and the actualization of local wisdom to advance the Lake Toba area. This study uses qualitative methods to understand social phenomena. The results of the study indicate that the values of local wisdom are the guidelines for the Toba Batak people to achieve their life goals. The values of local wisdom in the Toba Batak community are actualized in various Batak Toba philosophical expressions that serve as guidelines for behavior. The Toba Batak people live in a social system that organizes life in an area. So that local wisdom can be actualized as a guide to community behavior, it is necessary to organize by the social system that exists in the community. The concrete manifestation of the actualization of local wisdom in advancing the Lake Toba area is through long-standing cooperation in the community.Fenomena yang terjadi saat ini banyak masyarakat Batak Toba yang kurang memahami makna dan fungsi kearifan lokal, sehingga menyebabkan munculnya berbagai masalah sosial yang menghambat kemajuan di kawasan Danau Toba. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kearifan lokal sebagai pedoman berperilaku masyarakat Batak Toba dan relevansinya untuk kemajuan kawasan Danau Toba. Penelitian ini mencakup pandangan hidup, ideologi dan pemikiran masyarakat Batak Toba tradisional, sistem sosial masyarakat Batak Toba tradisional dan aktualisasi kearifan lokal untuk memajukan kawasan Danau Toba. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif guna memahami fenomena sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai kearifan lokal merupakan pedoman masyarakat Batak Toba untuk mencapai tujuan hidup. Nilai-nilai kearifan lokal pada masyarakat Batak Toba diaktualisasikan dalam berbagai ungkapan filosofis Batak Toba yang menjadi pedoman dalam berperilaku. Masyarakat Batak Toba hidup dalam sebuah sistem sosial yang menata kehidupan pada suatu wilayah. Agar kearifan lokal dapat diaktualisasikan sebagai pedoman berperilaku masyarakat maka diperlukan pengorganisasian oleh sistem sosial yang ada di dalam masyarakat. Wujud konkret aktualisasi kearifan lokal dalam memajukan kawasan Danau Toba adalah melalui kerja sama yang telah lama terjalin di masyarakat.]]>

<![CDATA[The success of the tourism industry is supported by three elements, namely people, place and time. Humans as human actors in tourism activities, place as an area covered by tourism activities and time as a period of time used in tourist trips while staying in tourist destinations. It was found that many people do not have awareness of tourism potential and care about the environment, so that the level of community participation in the development of tourist destinations is still low. This service uses an empowerment perspective with the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) method to increase community participation, so that tourist destinations in Hutaginjang Village can be developed and efficient for the community. This service seeks to empower the community by providing various information about increasing participation in tourist destinations through counseling, thus opening the paradigm of the community in managing and developing tourism objects and making persuasive efforts in the form of social action activities, social action activities such as socializing the 5 M Movement, distributing masks and distributing books. The results of this service can be seen from the beautiful village area and increased community participation in the development of tourist destinations.]]>

<![CDATA[The current phenomenon is that many Batak Toba people do not understand the purpose of their lives, so that it is the cause of the emergence of cultural conflicts in the Toba Batak community. The purpose of this study was to determine the cultural conflicts in the Toba Batak community and how their resolutions include the divorce system, the inheritance system and the land system in the traditional Toba Batak society. This study uses qualitative methods to understand social phenomena. The results showed that the discrepancy between husband and wife causes a household that is not harmonious, resulting in divorce. There are two dichotomies regarding inheritance rights to girls, some are contra and some are pro giving inheritance rights to girls. Culturally, the Toba Batak people's conceptualization of children only refers to boys, not girls. With the adoption of a patrilineal system for the Toba Batak people, inheritance rights will only be given to sons and not to women.Fenomena saat ini banyak masyarakat Batak Toba yang kurang memahami akan tujuan hidupnya, sehingga menjadi penyebab munculnya konflik kultural pada masyarakat Batak Toba. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui konflik kultural dalam masyarakat Batak Toba serta bagaimana resolusinya yang mencakup sistem perceraian, sistem pemberian warisan dan sistem pertanahan pada masyarakat Batak Toba tradisional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif guna memahami fenomena sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketidaksesuaian antara suami-istri menyebabkan keadaan rumah tangga yang tidak harmonis sehingga mengakibatkan perceraian. Terdapat dua dikotomi mengenai hak waris kepada anak perempuan, ada yang kontra dan ada pula yang pro memberikan hak waris kepada anak perempuan. Secara kultural konseptualisasi orang Batak Toba mengenai anak hanya mengacu kepada anak laki-laki bukan kepada anak perempuan. <![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pelayanan prima receptionist terhadap kepuasan tamu studi kasus Jaya Tunas Sejati Hotel Ressort Convention Parbaba, Samosir. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi adalah keseluruhan tamu yang menginap di Jaya Tunas Sejati Hotel Ressort Convention Parbaba, Samosir jumlah rata-rata keseluruhan bulan Januari-Mei sebanyak 280-300 orang setiap bulannya dan ditetapkan sampel sebanyak 60. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket tertutup sebanyak 30 item. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan pelayanan prima receptionist terhadap kepuasan tamu studi kasus Jaya Tunas Sejati Hotel Ressort Convention Parbaba, Samosir dibuktikan dengan analisa data sebagai berikut: 1) uji hubungan yang positif diperoleh nilai rxy = 0,516 rtabel(=0,05,n=60) = 0,254 dengan demikian diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara variabel X dengan variabel Y. 2) Uji hubungan yang signifikan diperoleh nilai thitung= 4,590 ttabel(=0,05,dk=n-2=58)=2,000 dengan demikian terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel X dengan variabel Y. Sehingga Ha yang mengatakan terdapat hubungan pelayanan prima receptionist terhadap kepuasan tamu studi kasus Jaya Tunas Sejati Hotel Ressort Convention Parbaba, Samosir diterima dan H0¬ ditolak.]]>

<![CDATA[The current phenomenon is that many Toba Batak people do not understand cultural values so that cultural values as a foundation for advancing tourism are not used properly. The purpose of this study is to find out how the cultural values of the Toba Batak are the foundation for advancing tourism, which includes the work ethic of the Toba Batak people and the actualization of cultural values to advance tourism in the worldwide Samosir Regency. This study uses qualitative methods to understand social phenomena. The results of the study show that cultural values which cover all aspects of the life of the Toba Batak people are grouped into nine values. The cultural values of the Toba Batak people are actualized in various philosophical expressions that guide behavior, including how to interact socially. This philosophical expression is a motivation for the Batak Toba community so that it becomes a work ethic to be able to achieve and achieve goals. In order for cultural values to be actualized to advance tourism, it is necessary to organize by the social system in society. The role of regional leaders, such as raja huta (village), natua-tua ni huta (parents/elders of the village) and modern village institutions led by hamung (village heads) is urgently needed to educate local wisdom values to the community and organize various activities that can foster solidarity. The concrete form of solidarity is through cooperation that has long existed in society. In order for collaboration in the community to be sustainable, assistance is needed by various parties, both the government, the private sector, and the Toba Batak community from Samosir Regency.]]>

<![CDATA[The main purpose of establishing a village is to meet the needs of the community that founded the village. In order for the community's needs to be met, it is necessary to manage the village potential properly. The purpose of this study was to determine the spatial system of the traditional Batak Toba village which includes the physical and social components of the traditional Batak Toba village and how the social system organizes the physical and social components of a village. This study uses qualitative methods to understand social phenomena. The results of the study indicate that a village for the Toba Batak community is a social order and system in which the community can interact socially, both between individuals and between families. The traditional Batak Toba village is autonomous and has authority. In order for the autonomy and authority of a village to continue to exist, a traditional Batak Toba village lives in a legal order. The running of the legal system is organized by a collective leadership in a village, this collective leadership creates a legal order and a place for community questions. In the event of a violation or dispute, the collective leadership is asked for consideration of the sanctions or penalties that will be given.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to determine the dynamics of ugamo malim adherents in fighting civil rights. The research used qualitative methods through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with ugamo malim figures to understand the facts that exist in society. Furthermore, the researchers conducted data reduction before drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that people who adhere to ugamo malim are always faced with intolerance and discrimination. The incorrect understanding of the function and meaning of religion in life, including the views of the minority of ugamo malim adherents, makes it difficult for ugamo malim adherents to be accepted by the general public and government circles. The discriminatory actions felt by religious people from various regions in Indonesia united them in a social movement to gain official recognition from the state. Groups of adherents from various regions in Indonesia submitted a request for judicial review to the Constitutional Court (MK) and it was granted. The efforts of followers of ugamo malim to continue to exist and preserve the values and traditions of the Toba Batak people in social movement theory are called new social movements. The main and first social movement carried out by the ugamo malim community was marhamalimon. Through marhamalimons, various rituals were established, a new center of worship was established, and the organizational structure of the parmalim was also determined. Efforts to fight civil rights were also carried out by ugamo Malim through education. Various negative prejudices against ugamo malim people have been identified by various achievements in the field of education. Ugamo malim people have worked in many government and private institutions and occupy strategic positions.]]>

<![CDATA[Service quality is a benchmark for service success determined by the level of satisfaction of service recipients. While the level of satisfaction of the recipient of this service will be obtained if a recipient of the service gets the type of service in accordance with what they expect and need. Thus, the needs of service recipients must be met as much as possible in order to obtain satisfaction. The data processing was obtained from questionnaire data collection data distributed to 50 respondents. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion described in the previous chapter, the author draws several conclusions on the results of the analysis that based on the hypothesis proposed by the researcher, a t test was carried out and obtained the SPSS output showed a calculated t value of 0.812 with a Sig of 0.421. To determine the level of significance of the research model, the calculated t value is compared with the table t value. Based on the results of the analysis, the hypothesis that states service quality (reliability, responsiveness, assurence, tangiable, emphaty) has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction in the use of Parapat Khas Hotel services is empirically proven and acceptable.]]>
