Abstract

PAK teachers as individuals play an important role in improving student learning achievement. To improve learning achievement, PAK teachers must also play an active role in schools, in educating, teaching, directing and arousing students' enthusiasm for learning. Then PAK teachers should find out what causes students to be less interested in learning, thereby causing a decline in students' learning achievement. Lack of awareness of students' learning in learning: namely the lack of special attention from PAK teachers, the students' environment at school, and the students' environmental habits, so that students are still at school. The aim of writing this scientific work is to determine the role of PAK teachers in improving student learning achievement at SMP Negeri 3 Sompak. The research methodology used is qualitative, literature study, observation and interviews. Students need to improve their learning achievements, so they can get good results. To get good results in learning, the attention of PAK teachers is needed in encouraging students to study actively.

Abstract

The presence of social media has a big influence on the general public, including students, to make it easier to carry out the learning process because they can get various information and data related to learning material, communication with fellow friends, for entertainment, and various other important information. The purpose of this research is to explain the role of Christian educators in making good use of social media for students so that social media can be used for greater interaction because of the ease of facilities in disseminating good information. The research method used is qualitative research with a library research approach. The results of this research are that if Christian educators care more about students in providing a correct understanding of the use of social media, then social media will be of great benefit in the learning process held both at school and doing assignments at home.

Abstract

In the past, Ephesians committed various sins. Therefore, the apostle Paul was chosen by God to preach the gospel to Ephesus to leave sin according to the teaching, 'It is dark to rise the light.' The phrase 'the dark rises of light' is an attitude that must be taken by god's people, namely those who believe in Jesus Christ, to distinguish their lives from the lives of others who still live in sin. Aim the research to find mean phrase of 'the dark rises of light'. This research uses qualitative methods with a literature and exposition approach to the text of the Bible. From the results of this study, it is hoped that God's people do not tend to sin because sin is a violation of God's law. The conclusion and implication of the results of this study are that the sinful acts committed by a man or God's people, both in hidden places and in the open places violate God's law. God will give eternal punishment to everyone who does not renounce his sin and does not want to live in the miraculous light of Christ. Dahulu orang-orang Efesus melakukan berbagai pelanggaran/dosa. Karena itu, rasul Paulus dipilih Allah agar memberitakan Injil ke Efesus supaya meninggalkan dosa sesuai pengajaran, ‘Habis gelap terbitlah terang.’ Frasa ‘habis gelap terbitlah terang’ merupakan sikap yang harus dilakukan oleh umat Tuhan, yakni yang beriman kepada Yesus Kristus, untuk membedakan kehidupannya dengan kehidupan orang lain yang masih tinggal di dalam dosa. Tujuan penelitian untuk menemukan makna dan pengajaran frasa ‘Habis gelap terbitlah terang.’ Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan dan eksposisi terhadap teks Alkitab. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan umat Tuhan tidak memiliki kecenderungan untuk berbuat dosa karena dosa adalah pelanggaran hukum Tuhan. Konklusi dan implikasi hasil penelitian ini ialah perbuatan dosa yang dilakukan oleh manusia atau umat Tuhan, baik di tempat-tempat tersembunyi maupun di tempat-tempat terbuka adalah melanggar hukum Tuhan. Tuhan akan memberi hukuman kekal kepada setiap orang yang tidak meninggalkan dosanya dan tidak menghendaki untuk hidup di dalam terang Kristus yang ajaib.

Abstract

Humans live in various tribes, nations, cultures, customs and religions, because diversity cannot be denied so that marriages of different beliefs can occur in society. The occurrence of inter-faith marriages is caused by a lack of awareness among young people regarding the impacts that occur when entering into inter-faith marriages. Based on the current prevalence of interfaith marriages, it is necessary for pastors as Christian educators to make efforts to prevent interfaith marriages from continuing to occur. Through this research, the aim is to explain precisely the efforts of pastors as Christian educators in preventing interfaith marriages for young people in GKII Jerusalem Sebelantau, Sekadau Regency. Researchers used descriptive qualitative research methods through observation, interviews and literature techniques. The results of the research obtained are that if the pastor as a Christian educator continuously educates, teaches, guides, and directs Christian young people to the right path through the word of God, then young people will not enter into interfaith marriages even if there is an interfaith marriage. religion, then through God's help can win for the glory of Christ

Abstract

Model pembelajaran merupakan suatu studi pendekatan yang dipilih bagi pembelajaran orang dewasa, baik lewat pendidikan formal maupun informal. Alasan orang dewasa mengikuti pembelajaran karena orang dewasa memiliki animo yang tinggi untuk mengetahui sesuatu pengetahuan yang belum diketahui, meningkatkan kompetensi, kualifikasi, dan menerima motivasi eksternal untuk memperbaiki dirinya agar ke depan semakin melakukan perubahan peningkatan kinerjasitas. Tujuan orang dewasa mengikuti proses pembelajaran ialah untuk meningkatkan perilaku, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pemahaman; serta mengembangkan pengalaman hidup menuju ke arah kehidupan yang semakin baik. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan menjadi pilihan dalam penulisan artikel ini. Hasil penelitian ialah orang dewasa harus terus-menerus belajar dengan menggunakan berbagai model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kompetensi, kualifikasi, dan mendapatkan pengalaman hidup dari pendidik dan sumber-sumber belajar supaya bersaing secara sehat di era masyarakat 5.0.

Abstract

Community service in the neighborhood association (RT) of 07 Dusun/Village Pusat Damai is a concrete manifestation of loving service in Christian religious education. Sometimes, certain individuals in the neighborhood association (RT) are not directly involved in community service activities due to age and busy schedules. People who are not directly involved in community service activities indicate that their faith has not yet been expressed through concrete actions. The purpose of this community service research is to ensure that each person's faith is expressed through concrete actions in the neighborhood association (RT) as a form of loving service in Christian religious education. To produce good community service research, a qualitative research method is required through literature and documentation. The results found through this community service research are that faith that is expressed can be realized through community service carried out by all residents of RT 07 Dusun/Village Pusat Damai, demonstrating a high level of enthusiasm. This community service research can be concluded that every believer must have faith that is expressed through concrete actions, namely community service in the neighborhood, to be further enhanced in the future.

Abstract

Kompetensi guru pendidikan agama Kristen dalam membimbing kepribadian peserta didik sangat dibutuhkan pada setiap satuan pendidikan termasuk SMK Negeri 1 Parindu. Di SMK Negeri 1 Parindu telah memiliki empat jurusan yakni jurusan TKR, TKJ, TSM, dan DPIB. Fokus penelitian ialah peserta didik TKR dan TKJ. Di SMK Negeri 1 Parindu pada setiap tahun pelajaran selalu diadakan kegiatan bimbingan non-akademik selain akademik. Kegiatan bimbingan akademik dan non-akademik bertujuan untuk membimbing peserta didik agar mengetahui masing-masing kompetensi peserta didik dan tidak terlibat dalam kegiatan yang merusak kehidupan masa depan mereka. Metodologi penelitian yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini ialah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan kepustakaan. Hasil yang didapatkan ialah peserta didik SMK Negeri 1 Parindu telah memiliki kompetensi sesuai jurusannya, di bidang non-akademik, dan perubahan karakter, moral, emosional, sosial maupun spiritual yang semakin baik.

Abstract

Reaching souls in GPKdI Nek Kompong, Andeng Village in conjunction with reaching out to souls in GKSI Moria Empaong-Nala Congregation is very much needed by pastors who are serious and sincere in their ministry. The ministry of a pastor to reach the soul is a very important act today. The purpose of reaching out to souls is to save lost souls to live like Christ. In order for the pastor to be more enthusiastic in reaching lost souls, prayers and fasting are required to be carried out by the pastor, the church assembly, and all members of the Nek Kompong GPKdI, Andeng village and in the GKSI Moria Empaong-Nala Congregation. This study uses a qualitative methodology with a data processing approach of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that some members of the GPKdI Nek Kompong and GKSI Moria Empaong-Nala congregations already had an awareness of fellowship with God in places of worship and other spiritual fellowship carried out in the congregation. The conclusion is that pastors must be loyal in reaching out to souls in GPKdI Nek Kompong and GKSI Moria Empaong-Nala Congregation continuously and even ministry to reach souls must also be carried out by pastors/congregations in all interdenominational churches, both in Indonesia and elsewhere world.

Abstract

The rapid integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education presents both opportunities and ethical challenges, especially for faith based institutions such as Christian schools. These institutions must balance technological innovation with their theological commitments. As AI becomes more embedded in educational environments, Christian educators face the challenge of integrating AI in a way that aligns with Christian values, human dignity, and relational teaching roles. This study explores how Christian moral teachings can guide the integration of AI into education, providing a framework for ethical AI use in Christian schools. Previous studies have highlighted the ethical concerns associated with AI, including algorithmic bias, data privacy, and the potential for AI to undermine relational teaching roles. Christian educational theology, which emphasizes values such as human dignity, justice, and fairness, offers a robust framework for addressing these concerns. A biblical worldview and the concept of Imago Dei (the image of God) provide theological foundations for integrating AI ethically in education, ensuring that AI tools enhance human centered learning rather than replace human educators. Additionally, literature suggests that ethical guidelines informed by Christian teachings can mitigate AI's ethical risks and promote a more inclusive and equitable educational environment. This study employs a mixed methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative research methods. The qualitative phase involves document analysis and interviews with Christian educators and theologians to explore theological reflections on AI and its ethical implications.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang makna ungkapan “Jangan banyak orang diantara kamu mau menjadi Guru”, menurut Yakobus 3:1-2. Guru ialah seorang pengajar, baik di sekolah, di gereja, dan di masyarakat. Tugas guru ialah mendidik, mengajar, membimbing, membina peserta didik. Namun guru yang dimaksud Yakobus dalam teks ialah para guru Kristen yang meliputi: gembala, pendeta, misionaris dan para pengerja gereja lainnya, yang mengajar tentang kebenaran firman Tuhan.
