Abstract

Task-Based Language Teaching has gained popularity as an effective approach in language education. It focuses on providing learners with authentic, purposeful tasks that mirror real-world communication situations. In this paper, we explore the potential of developing Task-Based Language Teaching into English Speaking Teaching materials. We discuss the benefits of using task-based activities for improving speaking skills and how they can be integrated into English speaking teaching materials. We also examine the challenges that may arise in the development process and provide recommendations for creating effective task-based English speaking teaching materials An educator's understanding of teaching methods determines the success of students in understanding the material by the teacher in class. However, facts in the field show that not all teachers can understand in determining relevant teaching methods to be used in classroom teaching. Especially in language teaching, good teaching skills are seen from the selection of methods that are relevant and appropriate to the learning objectives. Regarding the selection of relevant teaching methods. The method used in this research is the R&D (Research and Development) method which aims to develop Task Based Language Teaching (TBLT) based English teaching materials. Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded the classroom so that learning can be realized. Therefore, this requires a teaching method that can accommodate teachers in the classroom, and can help students learn. One method that can be used in language teaching is the TBLT-based teaching method or task-based teaching method. The purpose of research and development of English teaching materials based on TBLT or task-based teaching methods focuses on students understand the material well and students are expected to be able to become risk takers in carrying out tasks, become communicative individuals, and be able to complete tasks by building interactions, relationships, and can collaborate well with their friends. Abstract

Writing skills play a crucial role in language mastery, requiring a deep understanding of linguistic structures, particularly grammar. In the current junior high school (SMP) curriculum, grammar is integrated into various learning modules, often making students unaware that they are acquiring grammatical concepts. This research aims to develop an innovative grammar learning module to: (1) facilitate students' comprehension of grammatical rules, (2) improve students' writing proficiency with a strong grammatical foundation, (3) evaluate the module’s suitability for junior high school writing instruction, and (4) gather feedback from educators and students on its implementation in Bekasi City schools. Utilizing the Research and Development (R&D) methodology with the 4-D model—definition, design, development, and dissemination—this study employed interviews and questionnaires for data collection. Content, media, and language experts validated the module to ensure its effectiveness. The findings demonstrate that the grammar learning module significantly enhances students' writing skills, as reflected in improved writing test scores and positive feedback from both teachers and students. This research contributes to the advancement of grammar instruction by offering a structured and engaging approach tailored to the needs of junior high school learners. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas pelayanan dan kedisiplinan pegawai terhadap kepuasan masyarakat di Kantor Kelurahan Setu, Cipayung, Jakarta Timur. Sebagai garda terdepan pelayanan publik, kelurahan dituntut untuk memberikan layanan yang prima dan disiplin tinggi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang menerima layanan di Kantor Kelurahan Setu, dengan sampel sebanyak 100 responden yang diambil menggunakan teknik incidental sampling. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda melalui perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan masyarakat ( t hitung > t tabel ), demikian pula dengan kedisiplinan pegawai. Secara simultan, kedua variabel tersebut memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan masyarakat. Nilai koefisien determinasi menunjukkan kontribusi variabel independen yang kuat dalam menjelaskan variasi kepuasan masyarakat di lokasi penelitian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Kualitas Pelayanan dan Fasilitas terhadap Kepuasan Guru di Direktorat Guru Pendidikan Dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 84 responden yang merupakan guru penerima layanan di Direktorat Dikdas. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa seluruh item kuesioner valid dan reliabel.Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah metode pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan Analisis regresi linier berganda. Menggunakan alat hitung statistik SPSS27.Hasil penelitian ini secara uji parsial variabel Kualitas Pelayanan berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Guru. dan secara uji parsial Variabel Fasilitas berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Guru . Secara uji simultan variabel Kualitas Pelayanan dan Fasilitas berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Guru . Dengan demikian, Peningkatan Kualitas Pelayanan dan Fasilitas menjadi faktor penting dalam membangun Kepuasan Guru di Direktorat Pendidikan Dasar. Kata Kunci : Kualitas Pelayanan, Fasilitas , Kepuasan Guru.

Abstract

Effective waste management remains a significant challenge in achieving sustainable development at the community. One of the most relevant strategic approaches is the implementation of the circular economy concept through collaboration between communities and waste management institutions such as waste banks, aimed at optimizing waste management toward a sustainable green energy system. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method, combining literature review and field observations in communities that have implemented circular economy models based on waste bank practices. The findings indicate that the integration of waste management with waste bank systems enhances the economic value of household waste, strengthens community participation, and creates innovative opportunities for used cooking oil as an alternative energy source, including biodiesel. Moreover, this collaborative model contributes to carbon emission reduction and improves environmental awareness at the grassroots level. Hence, the synergy between waste management and waste banks serves as a strategic framework for advancing the circular economy, supporting the transition toward green energy and sustainable community empowerment.

Abstract

English speaking skills are an important aspect for the general public to get a job. For people who have difficulty continuing their education, PKBM is a forum that aims to develop abilities and skills to improve their quality of life. People who choose to continue their studies to obtain a diploma equivalent to high school (Packet C) have an age range that is variably older than the age of students who attend high school in general, therefore this research aims to improve fluent English speaking skills by applying project based learning This method is expected to make it easier for PKBM Packet C teachers and students to learn creatively and innovatively so that students are expected to be able to practice soft skills at work. The urgency of this research is the availability of educational products, namely speaking teaching materials with project based learning for PKBM packet C schools, so that graduates from PKBM package C have superior graduate quality in the world of work to improve their quality of life. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate. Using data collection techniques using interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, then validation was carried out by 3 experts, namely material experts, media experts, and linguist experts. Based on the results of research on the development of speaking teaching materials for packet C PKBM, the results of the development were obtained. Validation results by material experts obtained a result of ????̅ = 3.867, validation results by media experts obtained a result of ????̅ = 3.76, validation results by language experts obtained a result of ????̅ = 3.9. The results of the questionnaire by the English subject teacher obtained a result of ????̅ = 3.67 and questionnaire results by PKBM packet C students ????̅ = 3.8. Evaluation of the post test results on 15 PKBM packet C students showed that 13 of the 15 students were declared complete, and from the overall results it was stated that 78.8% of students had completed/successfully.
