Abstract

Provinsi Bali telah menjadikan Tri Hita Karana sebagai landasan pembangunannya, yang tercermin dari visi pembangunan Provinsi Bali  tahun 2006-2026 yakni:”Bali Dwipa Jaya, Adil, dan Demokratis, serta Aman dan Bersatu”. Tri Hita Karana telah menjadi landasan pembangunan di Bali. Tri Hita Karana wajib diterapkan pada berbagai kegiatan kemasyarakatan seperti politik, ekonomi, sosial, pertahanan, serta keamanan masyarakat. Satria Agrowisata sudah menerapkan konsep Tri Hita Karana, namun dalam penerapannya ada yang tidak sesuai dengan harapan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesesuaian antara harapan dan kenyataan pada penerapan Tri Hita Karana di Satria Agrowisata, menganalisis hubungan penerapan Tri Hita Karana dengan manajemen Satria Agrowisata, dan menganalisis kepuasaan konsumen terhadap kegiatan agrowisata di Satria Agrowisata yang menerapkan Tri Hita Karana. Data penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di Satria Agrowisata. Penelitian menggunakan dua macam penentuan sampel yaitu sensus sampling dan accidental sampling. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa metode yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskripstif kualitatif untuk data penelitian kualitatif dan korelasi Rank Spearman untuk data penelitian kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada kesesuaian antara harapan dan kenyataan pada penerapan Tri Hita Karana di Satria Agrowisata. Hubungan antara penerapan Tri Hita Karana dengan manajemen pada Satria Agrowisata sangat lemah namun pengunjung merasa sangat puas. Saran-saran yang dapat diberikan yaitu terus mempertahankan penerapan Tri Hita Karana pada kegiatan yang ada di Satria Agrowisata khususnya, memperbaiki hubungan antara penerapan Tri Hita Karana  dalam manajemen pada Satria Agrowisata, dan mempertahankan ataupun meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan menambah variasi minuman serta makanan yang bisa dijual ke pengunjung.

Abstract

The application of Tri Hita Karana concept become an important issue to ensure the business word existence howadays. The business word will not be developed without concerning the condition and situasion of sosial business environment so that the implementation of Tri Hita Karana becoming a necessity to support the business activities for the companies. It is not just a responsibility but also aduty in the bussiness word. The implementation of Tri Hita Karana concept should become a part of business role an it belong to business policy, so that the business world is a not an organization that is oriented to ward achieving maximum profits but also becomes a learning organization, where the individues that involved have social awareness and process sense not only for the organization environment but also for the sosial environment where the business is located. The purpose of this study is to determine the continuity apotential business of organic liquid fertilizer based on the concept of Tri Hita Karana. The research was conducted to the company that is focused in aloe vera manufacturer. The research is located in Banjar Tengah, Saba village, Blahbatuh, Gianyar regency. The respondents are chosen by census method. That is all the managements and employees of PT Alove Bali. They are 21 people in total. The research is using inverse matrix analysis. Based on the result retrieved, the implementation of Tri Hita Karana in PT Alove Bali is belonging to the quite well category by achieving 38,68% score. The achieving score indicated the sustainability potential value of PT Alove Bali,that are : a). Gatra Parhyangan, PT Alove Bali didn’t have daily religious rituals possibility, b). Gatra Pawongan, PT Alove didn’t give awards for the potential employees, it took a less concern to the social activities in the village. It give a less routinity education for the employees, lack of the external human resource development activities, lack of implementation of routinity internal, meeting, lack of updating regular development information far the company. c). The lack of supplying production tools. The use of production process waste in this case, the lack of maintaining and preserving environment activities, the lack of innovation and technology in developing the products to be develop in the future. The implementation of Tri Hita Karana in PT Alove Bali could be more enharced through the sosialitation of Tri Hita Karana to be more implemented in the business activities and looking fot the solution for the problems in implementing Tri Hita Karana.

Abstract

Konversi lahan pertanian menjadi salah satu dari banyak polemik yang dihadapi pertanian di Bali. Meningkatnya pertumbuhan penduduk dan menurunnya output pertanian berimplikasi pada konversi lahan semakin tak terbendung. Menghadapi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi konversi lahan pertanian dan hubungannya dengan kesejahteraan petani dilakukan untuk mendapatkan solusi terhadap fenomena tersebut. Rangkaian metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sampel yang diambil secara proportional random sampling sebanyak 125 responden. Analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik dilakukan melalui program SemPLS. Temuan yang diperoleh adalah: 1) konversi lahan di Saih Subak secara positif dipengaruhi oleh: faktor pertumbuhan kota, ekonomi, sosial, teknologi, aksesibilitas, risiko dan ketidakpastian dan tanah sebagai asset; 2) konversi lahan pertanian dan hubungannya dengan kesejahteraan petani menunjukkan hubungan yang positif dan signifikan melalui aksesibilitas, ekonomi, lahan sebagai aset, pertumbuhan perkotaan, teknologi pertanian, risiko dan ketidakpastian, dan sosial dengan kesejahteraan petani. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, pemerintah dan Subak Saih harus mengendalikan laju konversi lahan yang terjadi. Perluasan dan intensifikasi pertanian perlu dilakukan untuk memperbaiki hasil pertanian, memperkuat peraturan pemerintah, memperbaiki pengelolaan pertanian dan asuransi pertanian sehingga petani dapat meminimalkan kerugian akibat bencana alam. Untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani, teknologi dan pengembangan pengelolaan agribisnis sangat dibutuhkan agar pemanfaatan lahan dapat dikendalikan dan kesejahteraan dapat dicapai melalui kegiatan sektor pertanian. Abstract

The cornerstone of Subak system which used to managing the organization is harmony foundation of harmony and togetherness, which manifest by Tri Hita Karana concept (THK) Parhyangan, Pawongan, and Palemahan. Noble values contained in Subak make UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) determine subak as a World Cultural Heritage (WBD). This research aims to analysis the implementation of THK for sustainability of subak system. The analysis techinique used for this is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of matrix inverse analysis is the relation between all the sub-system from system technology and all the culture sub-system could describe subak sustainability and the application of Tri Hita Karana (THK) concept at Subak Wangaya Betan. The result of matrix inverse analysis is describe the sustainability capabilities of Tri Hita Karana at Subak Wangaya Betan by 30,27%. This result is caused by the elements still lacking in its implementation on an ongoing basis. As expected, Tri Hita Karana concept which prioritize harmony and togetherness could be applied to all the components of subak. Application of Tri Hita Karana at subak could be improved with the aim to sustain Subak Wangaya Betan activities that have been executed.

Abstract

ABSTRACTBusiness Development Strategy Certified Rice Seed On Subak Guama,Marga District, Tabanan RegencyThe increasing rate of population growth led to increased demand for food. Inorder to achieve food security, the use of certified seeds is one of the factors thatinfluence the improvement of yield and quality of production. Attempt to capturethese opportunities, Subak Guama need to make strategic business development ofcertified rice seed. The purpose of research is to investigate alternative strategiesand priorities appropriate strategies run by Subak Guama in the development ofcertified rice seed business.The research location was at Subak Guama. Respondents were selectedpurposively regarding their expertise and knowledge of the research. Primarydata were collected focus group discussions, surveys, and in-depth interviews.Secondary data were collected from publications. Formulation of alternativestrategies and priority strategies using SWOT matrix analysis and analysisQSPM.The results show alternative strategies of business development certifiedrice seed include: 1) expand market share in order to meet the potential needs ofseeds, 2) the formation of youth groups farmer, 3) improving the quality of humanresources, 4) empowerment of farmers through the capital strengthening farming5) integrated pest and disease control, and 6) optimization of the certified riceseed business. The result also shows that the priority strategy selected is capitalstrengthening farming.In supporting the development of business certified rice seed, members of SubakGuama is expected to strengthen the capital to apply for credit farming throughfinancial institutions/banks so as to increase production and develop productsseed varieties vary, increase access to a wider market so as to maintain its marketposition has been achieved, as well as more effective cooperation betweenfarmers with KUAT Subak Guama.Keywords: SWOT, QSPM, Rice Seed, Subak

Abstract

Pembangunan di sektor pertanian di Indonesia memiliki beberapa agenda utama yang terkait dengan kontribusinya terhadap pengentasan kemiskinan. Salah satu agendanya adalah mengembangkan kegiatan ekonomi di desa-desa melalui pengembangan ekonomi agribisnis. Untuk mencapainya, ada beberapa zat yang mendukung zat tersebut. Salah satunya adalah modal sosial dan manajemen pertanian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (i) untuk mengetahui pengaruh modal sosial terhadap pengembangan usaha pertanian di Subak Gede Bungan Kapal, (ii) untuk mengetahui pengaruh modal sosial terhadap manajemen dalam budaya pertanian di Subak Gede Bungan Kapal, dan (iii) untuk mengetahui pengaruh manajemen pertanian terhadap pengembangan bisnis pertanian di Subak Gede Bungan Kapal. Untuk mengetahui apa pengaruh yang terbentuk dalam penelitian, Smart PLS dan analisis deskriptif digunakan dalam pengolahan data. Berdasarkan analisis Smart PLS, beberapa kesimpulan dapat ditarik misalnya (i) pengaruh modal sosial positif dan sangat signifikan terhadap pengembangan usaha pertanian di Subak Gede Bungan Kapal Tabanan Kabupaten, (ii) pengaruh modal sosial positif dan sangat signifikan terhadap manajemen pertanian di Subak Gede Bungan Kapal, dan (iii) manajemen pertanian berpengaruh positif dan sangat signifikan terhadap pengembangan bisnis pertanian di Subak Gede Bungan Kapal. Berdasarkan kesimpulan, saran yang dapat diberikan adalah bahwa modal sosial di Subak Gede Bungan Kapal harus diperkuat terutama dalam mengubah cara berpikir masyarakat dan memperluas jaringan sosial untuk memajukan pembangunan pertanian. Peran aktif setiap bagian dalam subak sangat penting dalam mengembangkan kegiatan pertanian. Oleh karena itu, perlu untuk mengadakan pelatihan manajemen agribisnis dalam hal kegiatan usaha pertanian di mana ia akan membantu untuk mengembangkan pendapatan Subak.

Abstract

Land conversion is a process of change in land use of a particular form of usage become another example to non-agricultural use. Conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural agricultural development is a central issue that can have a significant impact on food production, economic and social aspects of environmental aspects. Conversion phenomenon is basically the result of the competition between agricultural land use to non-agricultural sector arising from the three economic and social phenomena are limited natural resources, population growth and economic growth. Viewing the phenomenon of this research was conducted in order to find the factors that affect the conversion of land either as a motivating factor as well as towing. Furthermore, of these factors can be analyzed to see its effect on the welfare of farmers converting land in Subak Jadi District of Kediri, Tabanan. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. Sources of data used in this study using primary data source is by distributing questionnaires directly to farmers and secondary data sources to find data from BPS and other relevant sources. Sampling of the population is performed using Slovin formula. Data analysis method used is the method of factor analysis, multiple linear regression and paired sample t test with a standard error of 5% (? = 0.05). Research results obtained are all variables simultaneously and significantly affect the conversion. Partial conversion of the driving factors of land there are just external push factors have a significant effect. The variable is the soil quality, housing needs, and the opportunity to buy land elsewhere. Suggestion for reducing lan conversion is the government should reinforce the regulations in the field of licensing, especially to build in wetlands. Government should also tighten the rules of buying and selling land, especially agricultural land should be sold but kept for agricultural land.

Abstract

ABSTRACT In an effort to agro-tourism development at Subak Uma Lambing, it is necessary to analyze the potential, form of development, and suitability between the ideal situation and the actual situation of subak. Based on that, it is necessary to do analysis based on the concept of Tri Hita Karana. The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential, the form of agro-tourism development, and the suitability between the ideal situation and the actual situation at Subak Uma Lambing related to the agro-tourism development based on Tri Hita Karana concept. This research used pekaseh and tourism actors as a main informant, and the member of subak as respondent. Methods and techniques of data collection used are observation, in-depth interviews, questionaires, documentation, and triangulation. Data analysis methods and techniques used are qualitative descriptive analysis, and matrices analysis of relationships between technology sub-systems and cultural sub- systems. The results showed that Subak Uma Lambing has the potential of tourist attraction, transportation type, electricity flow and lighting. Roads, parking lots, health facilities, food and beverage kiosks, souvenir shops, lodging, and accessibility based on distance and ease with other tourist locations. Agro-tourism is developed using an mindset aspect, social aspect, and artifacts aspect with alternative forms of agro-tourism is tracking, jogging, cycling, metekap, nandur, manyi, feeding cows, feeding fish, fishing trips, fruits and vegetables picking tours, studying rindic instruments, watching ritual activities, enjoy typical Balinese food, mejejahitan, capil wraping, traditional games, entertainment Balinese Dance and stay at krama subak home. In general, the application of the concept of Tri Hita Karana approaching the ideal situation, but on the relationship of social sub-system with sub-organoware system has not reached the ideal. In this study, it is advisable to maintain the cleanliness of irrigation channels, as well as to improve and equip facilit ies and infrastructure. An agreement needs to be made on manners, local government and tourism bureaus, collaboration between subak institution and krama to realizing the artifact aspects.

Abstract

Sibetan Village is one of Agrotourism place that could not give the significant result from its source. It makes a lag between the development of tourism object and its captivation from the farmers’ living. From this fact, a strategy is needed to develop agrotourism in Sibetan. The aim of this research is to know people’s perception about the development of agrotourism, the analysis of internal and eksternal environment, to create an alternative strategy and also the priority of how developing Salak Agrotourism. Data analysis in this research is using matrix internal-external (IE) analysis, matrix grand strategy, SWOT and followed by QSPM analysis to determine the strategy priority.  The result of this reasearch is (1) People’s perception in Sibetan about the development of agrotourism gets 86,86 %; (2) Identification of internal-external factor, accesibility of agrotourism, great panorama view, safety, another attraction from salak agrotourism as tourist’s destination, local government policy, organisation, the intention of world population of doing tourism with the development of technology; (3) alternatives strategy that is created based on SWOT is to increase people’s role in managing agrotourism, to cultivate its natural resource to optimize the excellence agrotourism, to maintain the quality of the products, to increase the promotion with technology, to develop a good relationship between government and companies, and also to increase the quality of human resource by held a training to develop a good skill in service; (4) the right strategy based on QSPM is to gain its own natural resource in increasing the excellence of agrotourism and also to keep the quality of the products.  Suggestion from this research is in order to make the local government of Karangasem regency Salak Agrotourism in Sibetan as the main priority to develop the tourism and gives support in the development of salak agrotourism activity. Besides, it needs a good cooperation between government and private or public companies in developing salak agrotourism.

Abstract

In general, the agricultural sector is still the main economic activity of the rural communities in Bali. Agribusiness systems in Bali are required to have high competitiveness in an era of economic modern. LPD as supporting institutions in the field of agribusiness in rural areas also face a high level of competition. organizational culture THK-based and operation strategy LPD in Buleleng is a unique resource for creating a sustainable competitive advantage. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of organizational culture and operating strategies for sustainable competitive advantage LPD Buleleng regency. The number of LPD in Buleleng is 126 LPD spread across nine districts. Then the number of samples and the respondents are 45 people chairman of 45 LPD. Methods of data analysis using SEM-based General Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). Organization culture-based Tri Hita Karana positive effect on the operating strategy of LPD in Buleleng. Organization culture-based Tri Hita Karana and operating strategy positive effect on the sustainable competitive advantage LPD in Buleleng. This shows that organizational culture based Tri Hita Karana and operating strategy is a source of sustainable competitive advantage LPD in Buleleng. Management need to develop a linking strategy LPD operation between systems and procedures with awig-awig. Awig-awig containing values of Tri Hita Karana, should be retained as the basis LPD operations. This may be the uniqueness of LPD in Buleleng, which is not owned by other financial institutions
