Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on students’ social studies learning outcomes, reviewed from their geographic location. A quasi experimental posttest-only control group design was used. The population consisted of 190 fourth-grade students in the Ledokombo II cluster, and 110 students were selected through cluster random sampling. The sample was divided into two experimental and two control classes. Data were analyzed using two way ANOVA. The results show that: (1) PBL had a significantly higher impact on learning outcomes compared to conventional teaching (F = 22.284 > Ftable = 3.93), (2) there was a significant interactionbetween learning model and geographic location (F = 66.428 > Ftable = 3.97), (3) urban students achieved significantly better results in PBL classes than in conventional classes, and (4) rural students also showed significant differences, although lower than urban groups. These findings indicate that PBL is an effective learning model across contexts, yet geographic disparities influence the magnitude of its effectiveness

Abstract

Penelitian membahas tentang permasalahan kurangnya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil kreativitas sbdp dengan menggunakan metode penelitian Tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan hasil yang didapatkan Prasiklus, Siklus 1 dan Siklus 2 adapun acuan rata rata pada prasiklus peserta didik dengan jumlah 24 mendapatkan rata rata 61,91667 dengan total nilai keseleruhan berjumlah 1.486. untuk Langkah selanjutnya menggunakan nilai siklus 1 peserta didik mendapatkan rata rata 69,625 dengan jumlah total nilai keseluruhan berjumlah 1.671, Adapun untuk Langkah terahkir adalah menggunakan siklus 2 peserta didik mendapatkan rata rata 74 dengan total nilai keseluruhanya berjumlah 1.776 . untuk Langkah pertama peneliti masih belum berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan target nilai kkm maka menggunakan siklus 1 adapun pada siklus ke 2 peserta didik yang berjumlah 24 telah berhasil memenuhi nilai kkm dengan kategori keterangan hasil belajar amat baik

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the roles of parents and teachers in improving children's early reading skills through the use of educational media. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, unstructured interviews, and documentation. The study subjects consisted of teachers and parents of elementary school students. The results showed that children's early reading skills improved after the use of educational media, as indicated by the ability to recognize letters, understand sounds, and read syllables and simple words. Teachers acted as facilitators, motivators, and guides, creating a fun learning environment through the use of educational media such as letter flashcards and picture books. Meanwhile, parents played a role in providing home learning support, motivation, and providing simple learning media. The use of educational media has proven effective in increasing children's interest and engagement in reading. However, there are obstacles such as limited parental time and differences in student abilities. Therefore, effective collaboration between teachers and parents is necessary to optimize children's early reading skills.
