Abstract

THIS RESEARCH aims at investigating the comparison of instan and homemade complementary foods to meet the nutritional status of instan aged 6-12 months in the North City Health Center working area. Instant complementary foods are made based on specific provision set by the world health organization (WHO). The type of research used in this study is comparative research, namely comparing the mean value of child growth given Homemade MP-ASI and Instant MP-ASI. The measuremnt scale used is a ratio scale used determine the comparison of Instan and Homemade MP-Asi this study yses Independet t-test analysis. The findings reveal thathave bean presented, it was found that significance value (2-tailed) was 0,348, which is greater than 0,05. Therefore, it can be conclude that there is no significant difference in the average feeding of isntant and homemade complementary foods.

Abstract

Injectable hormonal contraceptives contain the hormone progesterone which can cause adverse side effects for the wearer. The hormone used can affect the work of insulin in sugar metabolism as a result of which insulin becomes resistant. Insulin resistance causes the glucose levels that enter the body's cells to decrease as a result of which glucose remains in the blood vessels which results in high glucose levels in the body. West city health center has increased diabetes sufferers. According to data obtained from the Gorontalo City Health Office, there were 111 DM patients recorded at the West City Health Center in 2017, in 2018 there were 110 people and in 2019 there were 125 people. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between blood glucose levels and the use of injectable hormonal contraceptives at Puskesmas Kota Barat. This research is an analytic observational research with a quantitative approach method. The sample used was 30 patients with simple random sampling technique. The results of the study were found that 40% experienced an increase in blood glucose levels and as much as 60% were in the normal category. Based on the results of the examination, it can be concluded that there is no relationship between blood glucose levels and the use of injectable hormonal contraceptives p = 0.617 (α> 0.05). This is because most of the patients are in the productive age category and the duration of using injection contraception is <10 years.

Abstract

Work discipline is a tool that managers use to communicate with employees so that they are willing to increase one's awareness of complying with all applicable regulations and social norms. Problem limitation is limiting the problem only in terms of timeliness or orderliness in managing administration. The formulation of the problem is the influence of discipline of general administration employees on the effectiveness of services at Dunda Limboto Regional Hospital. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of discipline of general administration employees on the effectiveness of services at Dunda Limboto Hospital. The research method used is correlational research. The sample in this study consisted of 18 respondents. Data analysis uses simple linear regression. The results of the research show that there is an influence of employee discipline on the effectiveness of services at Dunda Limboto Hospital. In conclusion, to improve employee work discipline and effectiveness, it is recommended to pay more attention to services and also to support effectiveness, you must also pay attention to the structure or facilities and infrastructure used. Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, launched by Indonesia’s Ministry of Education and Culture in 2020, aims to foster entrepreneurship among university students to address low post-graduation entrepreneurial engagement. A 2022 Tracer Study at Bina Mandiri University Gorontalo (UBMG), Indonesia, found that only 1.13% of 177 alumni pursued entrepreneurship as a profession. Drawing on this issue, this research explores a strategic model to enhance students’ entrepreneurial interests through the MBKM program at UBMG. A qualitative descriptive design was employed, gathering data from key informants, including university leaders, lecturers, and students, through interviews and document analysis. The findings revealed that despite students showing a high potential for entrepreneurship, key barriers such as limited experience and financial capital persist. The study suggests strategies to overcome these challenges, including strengthening practice-based curricula, providing continuous mentorship, fostering positive entrepreneurial mindsets, and encouraging adaptation to external challenges through partnerships with industries and government support. These strategic measures are expected to significantly improve students' entrepreneurial engagement at UBMG.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, the development of quality human resources (HR) is the key to achieving progress and competitiveness of a country. One effective approach to improving the quality of human resources is through the development of entrepreneurial character. This character includes independent, creative, innovative, and competitive traits. The purpose of this activity is to build entrepreneurial character in realizing independent, creative, innovative and competitive human resources in Toto Utara Kabila Village. The implementation method is carried out in two stages, namely the planning and debriefing stage and the second stage of activity implementation. The results of the activity were attended by 30 participants, the head of North Toto village and the activity went smoothly and well. With this activity the community knows the importance of independent, creative, innovative and competitive entrepreneurship characters.

Abstract

The technology-based prospective business grant program is one of the government's initiatives to support the development of technology-based businesses at the local level. This socialization was carried out in Poowo Village, Kabila District, Bone Bolango Regency, with the aim of increasing community understanding of funding opportunities, business capacity development, and the benefits of technology in increasing business competitiveness. This activity involved lecture methods, discussions, and technical training for village communities. The results of the activity showed high community enthusiasm to participate in this program, with an increase in their understanding of the importance of technological innovation in business development. This activity provides a strong foundation for the community to take advantage of grant opportunities and improve the local technology-based economy.

Abstract

Sustainable village development is a strategy to improve the quality of life of rural communities by optimally utilizing local potential. This journal aims to describe community empowerment efforts in Bulango Village, East Bulango District, Bone Bolango Regency, with a sustainable development approach. This approach does not only focus on physical development, but also the development of mutually supportive social, economic, and environmental capacities. Through the implementation of this program, the community is expected to achieve independence in various aspects of life. These activities include counseling, skills training, and development of environment-based infrastructure that can improve the standard of living and welfare of the community.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on various sectors of life, including entrepreneurship. Many business owners have been forced to close their businesses due to social restrictions and a decrease in people's purchasing power. On the other hand, the community needs empowerment efforts to develop entrepreneurial potential amid the difficult conditions during the Covid-19 pandemic. The concept of Society 5.0 which emphasizes technology and innovation can be a solution to develop adaptive entrepreneurial learning in the Covid-19 era. The purpose of this activity is to develop entrepreneurial learning in Bongoime Village by utilizing the concept of Society 5.0, especially in the context of post-Covid-19 pandemic recovery. Through surveys and interviews, high entrepreneurial potential was identified among the community, despite facing technological knowledge constraints. The training program involved 30 participants and covered business planning, digital marketing, and product innovation. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of technology-based entrepreneurship. In addition, the formation of five new entrepreneurial groups signifies the success of this program in encouraging collaboration and creativity among participants.

Abstract

The village is the legal body authorized to regulate and carry out governmental duties, in accordance with the provisions of Act No. 6 of 2014. A village can carry out its responsibilities independently by building an effective governance system. It requires high-quality human resources for leaders and employees. It is essential to carry out effective supervision during the performance of the assigned tasks in the village to avoid abuse of authority. The village government requires the highest level of rigour from the leadership and supervisory agencies to avoid abuse of authority. This can include actions such as giving warnings, performing performance evaluations, and reviewing administrative issues. In order for the activity plan to work smoothly, certain parties can supervise and enforce the authority used in the implementation of activities through effective monitoring mechanisms. The aim of this research is to gain an understanding of how surveillance is used to avoid abuse of authority in Suka Mulya Village. This research method is qualitative descriptive with observations, interviews and documentation as a method of data collection. The results of this study show that the monitoring and communication system in Suka Mulya Village is not optimal, which leads to a lack of effective communication between subordinates and superiors in the completion of activities, in addition there is lack of emphasis on the rigour of the leadership and supervisory bodies on the performance of the apparatus.
