Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of: 1) knowing and analyzing the strategy for improving the quality of services at Otanaha Hospital; 2) to identify and analyze the factors that determine the strategy for improving the quality of services at the Otanaha Hospital. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation and interviews and documentation. 9 informants included: KTU representing Directors, Doctors and Nurses, who are at the Otanaha Regional General Hospital, this research was conducted from June to July 2020. The results showed that: 1) the strategy to improve the quality of services at Otanaha Hospital only applies two strategies, namely the organizational strategy and the program strategy that emphasizes the vision aspects of the hospital; 2) factors that determine the improvement of service quality at the Otanaha Regional Hospital include the lack of human resources in terms of quality and quantity, limited facilities and infrastructure that are not yet as planned. It is recommended: 1) the hospital continues to strive to develop human resources through training or technical guidance; 2) it is necessary to increase and develop facilities and infrastructure for the realization of the expected service quality.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) Knowing and analyzing the optimization of the roles and functions of village government. (2) Knowing and analyzing the factors that determine and hinder the optimization of the role and function of the village government. This research is a research with a qualitative descriptive approach, namely examining, analyzing and decrypting the data. The informants in this study were 33 people consisting of: Camat, District Secretary, Head of BPD, Sangadi, Village Secretary, Head of Financial Affairs, and Head of Government Section. Research Results: (1) The roles and functions of local government have been optimal. For the role of the village government in the implementation of government in the village, both as a dynamist, catalyst, and pioneer, it has been going well or has been optimal based on the results of interviews that have been conducted. Meanwhile, the function of the village government is in development planning, village government administration; and Village financial management, has been running well or has been optimal based on the results of interviews that have been conducted; (2) Government policy factors that most influence the optimization of village government roles and functions, with the consideration that human resources (apparatus), budget (finance), facilities and infrastructure all depend on government policies (central, provincial and district). Suggestions: (1) In order to optimize the roles and functions of the village government, a higher quality of human resources is needed. (2) The government can provide future policies regarding the functions and roles of village government.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the SISKEUDES application and the inhibiting factors in the application of the SISKUDES application in village financial management in Bangio Village, Pinogu District, Bone Bolango Regency. The research methodology in writing this final report is a descriptive qualitative method with the type of field research. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation which are primary data, which comes from eight informants who provide information directly related to the implementation of the SISKEUDES application. From this research, it can be concluded that the SISKEUDES application in Bangio village financial management plays an important role in assisting village officials because it facilitates and is useful in preparing village financial reports accurately. The SISKEUDES application is also useful and effective in generating financial reports for villages for security and helping improve the performance of village officials.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of basil leaf extract and fraction in inhibiting the growth of Escherichia coli bacteria and to determine the best concentration in inhibiting the growth of Escherichia coli bacteria. The methodin this study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments and five repetitions based on each extract and fraction treatment group, namely: 25% concentration, 50% concentration and 75% concentration. The result shows that from each concentration used from the extract and fraction group, it was found that the largest concentration in inhibiting Eschericia coli bacteria was at a concentration of 75% in the extract group. Statistical analysis of data using Univariate showed no significant difference in values ​​between Fcount and Ftable, therefore it was continued by using the BNT test. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah sari daging buah pepaya dapat diformulasikan sebagai sediaan lipbalm, bagaimana stabilitas fisik sediaan dan apakah dapat berkhasiat sebagai tabir surya. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif yang dilakukan secara eksperimental laboratorium dengan design penelitian yaitu simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sari daging buah pepaya dapat diformulasikan sebagai sediaan lipbalm, formulasi sediaan lipbalm dengan konsentrasi 5%,7,5% dan 10% dapat berpengaruh pada stabilitas fisik sediaan dan sediaan lipbalm dari sari daging buah pepaya dengan konsentrasi 5% menghasilkan nilai SPF yaitu 5,912 memberikan perlindungan rendah,7,5% menghasilkan nilai SPF yaitu 7,841 memberikan perlindungan rendah dan 10% menghasilkan nilai SPF 12,591 memberikan perlindungan rendah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa sediaan lipbalm yang dibuat dapat berkhasiat sebagai tabir surya tetapi memberikan perlindungan yang rendah.

Abstract

Potassium is a major intracellular cation that plays an important role in cellular metabolism. This study aims to describe the results of examination of blood potassium levels in the elderly in the work area of ​​the Kabila Health Center.This research method uses a quantitative research approach with the type of research used in this study is a descriptive type of research. The results of this study indicate that the results of examination of blood potassium levels in the elderly from 26 respondents obtained normal results as many as 5 samples 919.23%, high as many as 5 samples 19.23%, and low as many as 16 samples 61.54%. The amount of low blood potassium is more because respondents have low potassium intake.Conclusion Based on the risk factors that most influence the results of examination of blood potassium levels in the elderly, namely the lack of consuming foods containing potassium and not consuming very high amounts of potassium.

Abstract

Kacang Garing/Kacang Goreng adalah produk cemilan khas dari Desa Pangi, yang sudah terkenal sejak lama. Cita rasanya yang gurih dan sangat digemari lahir dari proses pembuatan yang unik dan secara tradisional dipertahankan secara turun temurun. Meski produk ini enak dan digemari tapi belum bisa mengangkat taraf hidup dan kesejahteraan para pengrajinnya. Usaha ini sangat potensial dikembangkan menjadi sektor bisnis yang menguntungkan. Visi bisnis, pengetahuan dan keterampilan bisnis pengrajin yang rendah membuat usaha ini sulit berkembang. Permasalahan pokok terutama pada aktifitas pemasaran yang kurang baik, pengelolaan keuangan dan manajemen usaha termasuk pengembangan produk yang lemah. Bila hal ini dibenahi sangat memungkinkan untuk memperluas pasar ke wilayah lain di Indonesia sehingga omset usaha menjadi tinggi. Program Pengabdian Masyarakat ini menjalin kerjasama dengan dua orang mitra pengrajin dimana para mitra akan dibekali ilmu dan keterampilan manajemen pemasaran dan manajemen produksi yang dibuat secara praktis ternyata mampu meningkatkan wawasan bisnis pengrajin dan mereka mampu menerapkan tehnik-tehnik pemasaran praktis, administrasi keuangan yang lebih rapi dan penanganan aspek produksi yang lebih efisien. Program ini juga secara bertahap telah memperluas wilayah pemasaran dan konsumen yang lebih bervariasi. Bisnis ini bila serius ditangani dengan sentuhan tehnik manajemen profesional dapat diandalkan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat pengrajin

Abstract

Indonesia terkenal dengan makanan tradisional, salah satunya adalah keripik, namun keripik yang akan dibuat adalah keripik sehat karena berbahan dasar pisangdan menggunakan bumbu–bumbu alami tanpa bahan pengawet. Keripik yangberbahan dasar pisang serta campuran dari bumbu–bumbu alami mengandung nilai gizi dan menyehatkan, karena tidak menggandung bahan pengawet. Pisang memiliki kandungan gizi seperti vitamin (provitamin A, B, dan C) dan mineral (ka-lium, magnesium, fosfor, besi, dan kalsium) yang dibutuhkan untuk tubuh. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah 1) Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat di sekitar di Desa Biga, Desa Biga dalam menghasilkan produk olahan keripik pisang dengan inovasi berbagai bentuk dan rasa, serta kemasan, dan 2) Untuk mendorong pengembangan minat wirausaha mahasiswa sebagai generasi milenial. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada kelompok masyarakat telah meningkatkan pengetahuan (knowledge) dan keterampilan (skill) pada masyarakat. Kegiatan pengolahan pisang menjadi berbagai produk terbukti memberikan tambahan nilai dan manfaat olahan pisang pengrajin di Desa Biga. Mengingat besarnya potensi pertanian tanaman pisang di Desa Biga, pengolahan kegiatan harus dikembangkan dalam skala yang lebih besar, skala bisnis untuk memaksimalkan potensi dari daerah.

Abstract

Sosialisasi proses produksi popcorn dilaksanakan kepada 10 peserta yang berasal dari Kampung tanjung harapan, Kecamatan wonosari. Sosialisasi dilaksanakan melalui media sosial youtube dan whatsapp group. Tahapan kegiatan sosialisasi terdiri dari tahap persiapan dan tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan. Pada tahap persiapan, narasumber menyiapkan beberapa hal seperti formula popcorn, kemasan popcorn, alat dan bahan, slid dan video presentasi. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, narasumber menyampaikan beberapa materi kepada peserta, yaitu gambaran umum tentang jagung, proses produksi popcorn, pengemasan popcorn, dan terakhir tentang penentuan umur simpan popcorn. Secara umum kegiatan berlangsung lancar dan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta terkait proses produksi popcorn. Hal ini terlihat dari beberapa pertanyaan yang disampaikan peserta

Abstract

Excess weight can cause changes to the body's cells, making the body's cells resistant to the hormone insulin. This can cause blood glucose levels to increase. This study aims to determine blood glucose levels in obese patients and the factors that influence them. This study aims to assess blood glucose levels in obese patients at the North City Health Center and the factors that affect them.The method in this study uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The type of data used is primary data from research results of blood glucose levels in obese patients and secondary data in data from the literature, books, questionnaires, and medical record books. The sampling technique in this study used accidental sampling, with a total sample of 29 people.The results showed that from 29 obese patients, there were 24 people or 82.8% whose blood glucose levels were abnormal, while five people, or 17.2%, had normal blood glucose levels. Factors that affect blood glucose levels in obese patients are gender, age, physical pattern (Body Mass Index/BMI), physical activity, and eating patterns (number of calories). Suggestions to the next researcher are suggested to examine blood sugar levels between the obese and non-obese groups as a comparison.
