Abstract

This study aims to deepen the understanding of the contribution of promotion and branding to increasing customer satisfaction at PT. Ino Wangsa Binjai. The study used primary data with a population of 300 buyers, and 75 respondents were selected as samples through calculations using the Slovin formula. The analysis techniques applied were quantitative, including validity tests, reliability, classical assumptions, simple linear regression, and hypothesis testing through t-tests and coefficients of determination (R²). Based on the analysis results, the promotional mix variable (E_Prmsi) obtained a t-count value of -1.824 with a significance level of 0.072 (> 0.05), while the t-table was 1.99346. Because the t-count is smaller than the t-table, it can be concluded that the promotional mix does not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. In addition, a negative t-value indicates that the direction of the relationship between the promotional mix and customer satisfaction is not in line. Conversely, the partial test shows that the company's brand variable has a significant effect on customer satisfaction with a significance value of 0.00 (< 0.05). Therefore, the first hypothesis (H1) is declared accepted. From the results of the determination coefficient test, the R Square value is 0.495, which indicates that 49.5% of changes in customer satisfaction can be explained by the company's promotional mix and brand factors, while the remaining 50.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. As a recommendation, the management of PT. Ino Wangsa Binjai, especially the branch manager, is advised to implement a more cost-effective, efficient, and targeted promotional strategy, as well as utilizing social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and print media such as newspapers to convey promotional information more effectively.

Abstract

The reason for dividing inheritance while the heirs are still alive is to avoid conflicts that will give rise to conflicts between heirs and not contradict Islamic law. The provisions of the Compendium of Islamic Law regarding the distribution of inheritance to living heirs provide evidence that the condition of the testator's death remains an implicit condition for inheritance of his assets in the form of inheritance. However, the Compilation of Islamic Law provides another way to carry out the distribution of inheritance before the death of the heirs as stated in Article 187 paragraph (1) of the Compilation of Islamic Law. The Islamic legal view regarding the distribution of inheritance to living heirs can be taken if there is a risk of disputes and conflicts between heirs that result in losses.

Abstract

This study aimed to obtain the best formulation in the manufacture of velva made from nipah fruit combined with rosella flower petals. This research was conducted experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) of four treatments and four replications. The treatments in this study were the ratio of nipa palm pulp (N) to rosella flower petal pulp (R), namely NR1 = 90:10 (w/w), NR2 = 80:20 (w/w), NR3 = 70:30 (w/w), and NR4 = 60:40 (w/w). The results were statistically analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The results showed that the ratio of nipa palm pulp: to rosella petal pulp significantly affected crude fiber content, acidity, and velva melting time. The results also showed that the treatment affected the velva sensory test parameters, including color, aroma, and taste. Meanwhile, the difference in the ratio of nipa palm pulp: to rosella petal pulp had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the softness of the velva. The hedonic sensory test showed that the ratio of nipah fruit and rosella had a significant effect (P<0.05) on overall velva acceptance. Based on chemical analysis and velva sensory test, the treatment selected in this study was the ratio of nipah fruit pulp to rosella flower pulp 70:30 (NR3) with a fiber content of 1.90%, overrun 30.32%, and acidity 4.70. The velva melting time was 9.10 m, and the sensory assessment had a red color (2.50), soft texture (3.80), slightly fragrant with nipah fruit (2.70), and slightly tasted like nipah fruit (2.60), and overall acceptance liked by panelists (4.40).

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian desa, namun masih menghadapi permasalahan pada aspek literasi keuangan dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Rendahnya kemampuan pengelolaan keuangan serta keterbatasan pemanfaatan layanan keuangan digital menyebabkan pelaku UMKM kesulitan dalam memantau kondisi keuangan usaha secara optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi keuangan UMKM melalui pendampingan penggunaan aplikasi e-wallet di Desa Ramah Digital. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan secara bertahap, meliputi tahap persiapan, sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan bersifat partisipatif dan aplikatif, dengan menekankan praktik langsung penggunaan aplikasi e-wallet dalam aktivitas usaha sehari-hari. Data hasil kegiatan diperoleh melalui observasi, diskusi, dan evaluasi sederhana sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman pelaku UMKM terhadap konsep literasi keuangan, peningkatan keterampilan penggunaan aplikasi e-wallet, serta perubahan perilaku dalam pengelolaan keuangan usaha. Pemanfaatan e-wallet tidak hanya digunakan sebagai alat pembayaran, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pencatatan transaksi dan pemantauan arus kas secara sederhana. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap ketertiban pengelolaan keuangan UMKM dan mendukung adaptasi teknologi keuangan digital di tingkat desa.

Abstract

Ecological footprint/EF (Jejak Ekologi) digunakan sebagai alat mengukur konsumsi manusia terhadap sumberdaya alam jika dibandingkan dengan kemampuan sumberdaya tersebut beregenerasi. EF mengukur seberapa besar bioproduktivitas area (lahan) yang dibutuhkan penduduk untuk aktivitas produksi sumber daya secara berkelanjutan yang digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dan menyerap limbah yang dihasilkan. Ketika EF melampaui BC maka akan terjad overshoot. Overshoot biasanya terjadi jangka pendek tetapi jika terus menerus bertambah akan menyebabkan degradasi lingkungan. DAS Cisadane menjadi wilayah studi karena merupakan bagian dari program pemerintah untuk meminimalkan kerusakan lingkungan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi hulu DAS Cisadane, apakah secara ekologi surplus atau defisit. Hasil kajian menjelaskan bahwa DAS Cisadane bagian hulu mengalami defisit ekologi dari kurun waktu 2016-2020.
