Abstract

Community Service (PkM) entitled Training on the Use of Thinglink, Seven Tools, and Clustering Data Mining was conducted by lecturers, students, and laboratory staff from the Industrial Engineering Department, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Trisakti. The purpose of this PkM activity was to train and enhance the skills of teachers at SMAN 2 Tangerang Selatan in developing teaching materials using Thinglink and processing data utilizing the clustering method in data mining. The methods employed in this PkM included partner identification, proposal preparation, program socialization, implementation, and the preparation of reports and deliverables. This activity aimed to assist teachers in teaching and data grouping within the school environment. The activity was held on February 5–9, 2024, conducted online via Zoom and offline at SMAN 2 Tangerang Selatan. This PkM was carried out by lecturers and students of the Industrial Engineering Department, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Trisakti, and the Quality Engineering laboratory staff. The materials provided included the Seven Tools, Clustering Data Mining, and training on using Thinglink to develop teaching materials, followed by a question-and-answer session, discussion, and questionnaire completion. Teachers were also given assignments and allotted time to present their work. This Community Service activity will provide benefits, increase knowledge, and foster collaboration between both parties.  The output of this activity is a poster and a certificate for community service.

Abstract

PT Aerrostar Indonesia merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi sepatu di Indonesia. Salah satu produk yang sering diproduksi adalah Blackstone XG 73 White. Berdasarkan data historis bulan September hingga November 2021, diperoleh rata-rata persentase cacat perbulan sebesar 8,2% yang melewati batas toleransi perusahaan sebesar 5% sehingga dilakukan usulan perbaikan pada Blackstone XG 73 White. Perbaikan kualitas diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen. Perbaikan kualitas Blackstone XG 73 White menerapkan metode Six Sigma dengan metodologi DMAIC. Tahap define menggunakan SIPOC dan CTQ untuk mengidentifikasi proses dan cacat yang terjadi. Tahap measure dilakukan perhitungan peta c, nilai DPMO sebesar 26135,11 dan tingkat sigma sebesar 3,440 yang berarti berpotensi ditingkatkan mencapai six sigma. Tahap analyze menggunakan Failure Mode Effect Analysis untuk menentukan penyebab terjadinya kegagalan yang potensial berdasarkan RPN, nilai RPN tertinggi pertama sebesar 200 pada jenis kecacatan wrinkle dengan penyebab proses lasting tidak benar. Selanjutnya Fault Tree Analysis untuk mengidentifikasi akar penyebab kegagalan. Diperoleh probabilitas basic event tertinggi sebesar 0,2333 dengan akar penyebab gagalan yaitu tidak ada SOP pemeriksaan. Usulan perbaikan yang dilakukan adalah membuat SOP pemeriksaan proses penjahitan dan training operator. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi persentase produk cacat dan meningkatkan kualitas produk Blackstone XG 73 White.

Abstract

This research was conducted because the defect rate of packaging materials supporting lithos M products exceeded the Company's tolerance standard of 2%. This research aims to identify the causes and provide suggestions to improve the Quality of product support packaging materials. The methods used in data mining with the CRISP-DM (Cross-Industry Standard Process For Data Mining) approach. The Business Understanding stage determines the problem and research objectives, Power Business Intelligence, SIPOC (Supplier, Input, Process, Output, Customer) Diagrams, Operation Process Chart, QC Action, and CTQ (Critical to Quality). The Data Understanding stage creates a Control P Chart, calculates DPMO and the sigma level obtained by the unscramble machine dented bottle value 762.31 with a Sigma level of 4.66, Sticker 2nd defect Internal 187.47 with a sigma level of 5.06, Cap 2nd defect internal 67.18 with a sigma level of 5.32, and uses Fault Tree Analysis. The Data Preparation stage performs data cleaning, integration, transformation, and preprocessing. The Modelling stage makes classification with C4.5 and the Cart decision tree algorithm. The evaluation stage uses a Confusion Matrix accuracy of 78.8 percent and 89.4 percent, respectively. The Deployment stage produces improvement proposals by creating a Dashboard, Standard Operating Procedure, and Check Sheet.

Abstract

Pengembangan e-commerce untuk pemasaran produk UKM (Usaha Kecil Menengah) telah banyak dilakukan di Indonesia. Beberapa e-commerce telah dikembangkan oleh Pemerintah namun masih belum mampu meningkatkan penjualan produk UKM di daerah. E-commerce Produk UKM harus mampu bersaing dengan e-commerce lain yang sudah berhasil di pasaran. Salah satu cara e-commerce produk UKM untuk meningkatkan daya saingnya adalah dengan mengetahui posisinya di lingkungan pasar online Indonesia. Hal tersebut dapat menjadikan e-commerce produk UKM semakin baik dalam menarik minat konsumen. Pengguna e-comerce dewasa ini tidak hanya memilih e-commerce dari fungsinya tetapi juga kualitas afektifnya. Kualitas afektif berarti e-commerce dapat memuaskan pengguna secara emosional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui posisi e-commerce produk UKM berdasarkan pendekatan kualitas afektif e-commerce. Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) digunakan untuk memetakan posisi e-commerce produk UKM dalam persaingan e-commerce di Indonesia. Hasil ekstraksi Kansei Words menggunakan Term Frequency Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) dan Principal Component Analysis (PCA) adalah dua kata kansei (canggih dan terjangkau). Kedua kata ini digunakan untuk analisis posisi sebagai dimensi peta perseptual. Berdasarkan peta perseptual, e-commerces produk UKM sudah canggih tetapi tidak cukup terjangkau.

Abstract

Sekolah Sepak Bola (SSB) “K&R” di Jakarta mengalami permasalahan yaitu keterbatasan jumlah siswa, tingginya biaya operasional, serta lemahnya strategi pemasaran dan branding yang menghambat keberlanjutan usaha. Oleh karena itu tim dari Laboratorium Pengembangan Organisasi dan Bisnis (Pobis), Jurusan Teknik Industri, Universitas Trisakti mengadakan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 27 Juli 2025. Kegiatan ini meliputi penyuluhan dan pendampingan tentang analisis pasar, pengembangan unique value proposition (UVP), perumusan bauran pemasaran (4P), serta strategi branding dan kemitraan. Hasil PkM menunjukkan peningkatan kapasitas mitra, ditandai dengan kemampuan merumuskan segmentasi pasar, mengidentifikasi UVP, menyusun strategi 4P secara lebih terarah, serta memahami konsep pemasaran berkelanjutan dengan capaian evaluasi post-test sebesar 100%. Selain itu, PkM ini juga menghasilkan beberapa luaran berupa HKI, artikel media sosial, dan konten publikasi turut memperkuat eksposur SSB “K&R” di ranah digital. Dengan demikian, PkM ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan mitra dalam mengelola pemasaran dan branding, sekaligus memperkuat posisinya sebagai entitas pendidikan olahraga yang berdaya saing. Selanjutnya, diperlukan pendampingan berkelanjutan, workshop lanjutan, serta penguatan jejaring antar SSB agar tercipta ekosistem pembinaan olahraga yang lebih berkelanjutan.

Abstract

PT TIJ is a manufacturing company that produces bags under the LC brand. The problem is the number of defective products returned by the QA department to the production department, with an average return percentage of 4% from June to August 2022. This research aims to identify defects, provide suggestions for minimizing defects, and improve the production process's quality using the Six Sigma method. The define stage is done by making an Operational Process Map and Critical to Quality (CTQ). The measuring stage is carried out by making a U attribute control chart, then calculating the Defect per Million Opportunities (DPMO) value and the sigma level before repair of 5200 with a sigma level of 4.06. The analysis phase is done by making Pareto diagrams, Ishikawa diagrams, and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis. According to the Pareto diagram, the dominant types of defects are stitches, stains, and holes/tears. The highest RPN value is the shift pattern of 288, the thread breaker does not function appropriately by 280, the operator error when setting the machine is 240, and the operator is not careful by 210—training for operators and using tools in the form of clamp s. In the Control Stage, an evaluation was made of the results of the implementation of the proposed improvements, resulting in a decrease in the DPMO value of 1500 (from 5200 to 3700), as well as an increase in the sigma level value of 0.12 (from 4.06 sigma to 4.18 sigma). PT TIJ merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi tas dengan merek LC. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah banyaknya produk cacat yang di retur oleh departemen QA ke bagian produksi dengan rata-rata persentase retur sebesar 4% pada bulan Juni hingga Agustus 2022. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kecacatan, memberikan usulan perbaikan untuk meminimasi kecacatan dan meningkatkan kualitas proses produksi dengan menggunakan metode Six Sigma. Tahap defines dilakukan dengan membuat Peta Proses Operasi dan Critical to Quality (CTQ). Tahap measure dilakukan dengan membuat peta kendali atribut U, lalu menghitung nilai Defect per Million Opportunities (DPMO) dan tingkat sigma sebelum perbaikan sebesar 5200 dengan tingkat sigma 4.06. Tahap analyzes dilakukan dengan membuat diagram pareto, diagram ishikawa, dan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis. Jenis kecacatan dominan menurut diagram pareto adalah jahitan, noda, dan bolong/robek. Nilai RPN tertinggi yaitu pola bergeser sebesar 288, pemutus benang tidak berfungsi dengan baik sebesar 280, kesalahan operator saat melakukan setting mesin sebesar 240, dan operator kurang berhati-hati sebesar 210. Tahap Improve dilakukan perancangan usulan perbaikan berupa pembuatan Checklist pengecekan mesin jahit, pemberian pelatihan kepada operator, serta penggunaan tools berupa clamp . Tahap Control dilakukan evaluasi dari hasil implementasi usulan perbaikan, diperoleh penurunan nilai DPMO sebesar 1500 (dari 5200 menjadi 3700), serta peningkatan nilai tingkat sigma sebesar 0,12 (dari 4,06 sigma menjadi 4,18 sigma).

Abstract

Six Sigma is of paramount importance to organizations as it provides a structured and data-driven approach, fostering continuous improvement, minimizing defects, and optimizing processes to meet and exceed customer expectations. In response to the increasing defects of packaging product in a cosmetics industry in Indonesia, surpassing the specified 3% tolerance limit, this research conducts a thorough investigation into the root causes, corrective measures, and improvement proposals to elevate product quality. By leveraging the Six Sigma method and data mining techniques, the study systematically addresses the complexities associated with defect reduction in packaging for cosmetics product. The research methodology encompasses defining the problem through SIPOC and Critical to Quality (CTQ) diagrams, measuring via control charts and sigma level calculations, and analyzing using tools like pareto diagrams, Apriori algorithms, fishbone diagrams, and Fault Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Key findings reveal a notable correlation between spot defects and varying colors, leading to pearl defects as identified by the Apriori algorithm. FMEA identifies critical failures, including suboptimal printing plate conditions, clumpy ink usage, and insufficient operator attention to ink filling. The improvement stage proposes practical solutions, such as implementing alarms and buzzers, color-indicator-adjusted ink storage labels, and a structured form for cleaning and monitoring printing plates. These findings carry significant implications, providing a tailored roadmap for enhancing the quality of cosmetic packaging. The anticipated implementation of proposed improvements aims to elevate customer satisfaction by addressing specific pain points in the production process. Furthermore, the research contributes valuable insights to the broader cosmetics industry, offering effective methodologies for defect reduction and quality enhancement in packaging processes.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is one of the company's benchmarks in maintaining product quality. One of the most demanded types of non-automatic pumps is the PS-128 BIT. Water pump problems that occur because the percentage of defects are still above the company's desired tolerance. The tolerance given by the company is 3%, but the percentage of defects received by the company is 5.93%. This percentage is obtained based on the average percentage of disability in five months (July – November 2021). Furthermore, the company needs to make improvements to the quality of the pump product. The purpose of the research is to minimize product defects to improve product quality and can meet customer satisfaction. The method used is six sigma. The results of the study identified that there are two types of defects that are dominant in pump products, namely leaking mseal and leaking o-ring. The calculation of value defect million per opportunity was obtained at 51,000 and converted into a sigma rate of 3.135 where this value can still be increased so that the level of defective products is reduced. Actions that can be taken to overcome leaky mseal include using a mseal part inspection checklist and leaky o-rings can be handled using tools such as air duster guns. This tool is used to help clean parts regularly to ensure that the part is clean and can be done to the next stage of the production process. This proposed improvement has been implemented with the final result of the sigma level increasing by 3.262.

Abstract

The world is experiencing rapid change, leading to transformations in human lifestyles that necessitate adaptation. However, the aviation industry appears to have reached a point of stagnation. Soekarno-Hatta International Airport must adapt to the new needs and demands of passengers by implementing necessary changes and incorporating the latest available technologies. To gain a deeper understanding of passenger satisfaction regarding the service quality at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, the SERVQUAL method and Binary Logistic Regression Analysis will be employed. Both methods aim to identify services that has significant impact and determine the relative influence of these services on the overall service quality at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. The results of the SERVQUAL method in this study indicate that there are 14 services at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport that do not meet passenger satisfaction standards, with a need for particular attention to the reliability dimension. Subsequently, the Binary Logistic Regression analysis results indicate that only parking price and ambiance significantly influence passenger satisfaction, with the likelihood of increasing satisfaction being 1.7732783 and 2.0773711 times respectively. Focus should be placed on improving operational accuracy through stringent Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comprehensive staff training, reducing supplementary expenses like toll charges, expanding parking facilities, and optimizing parking flow, improving illumination, customer engagement, and noise control measures.

Abstract

Toddlers experience physical accidents in the house at a rate of 90 percent. Based on observations, the living room was the most dangerous part of the building compared to other parts. That condition made the parents feel that the safety of their little one was not fully supported. This study aims to design a living room that is safe and comfortable for Toddlers. The design output supports the interior designers in creating a safer Toddler environment. Kansei Engineering guides the identification of living room design for parents looking for their toddlers' safety. The Kansei words gathered from the study are comfortable, multifunction, safe, easy to clean, simple, large capacity, and harmonious. These Kansei words injected into the concept design, which is the harmonious design concept and the simple design concept, by using Principal Component Analysis. The harmonious design has a wood table (X5.1) with a sofa (X7.2) and TV (X9.1) and no flower vase (X11.2) as its decoration, while the simple design has a plastic table (X5.2) with a wood seat (X7.1) and with flower vase (X11.1) but no TV (X9.2). The insights gathered were designed with Blender 3D and integrated with virtual reality Oculus simulation through the SketchFab website.
