Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan karakteristik media pembelajaran powerpoint interaktif, 2) mendeskripsikan kualitas pengembangan media powerpoint interaktif, dan 3) mendeskripsikan respon siswa terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran powerpoint interaktif berbasis pendekatan kontekstual pada materi daur air muatan pelajaran IPA kelas V SD Negeri Putren Bantul. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) Borg and Gall. Penelitian ini hanya menggunakan sembilan langkah yaitu: (1) potensi dan masalah; (2) pengumpulan data; (3) desain produk; (4) validasi desain; (5) revisi desain; (6) uji coba terbatas; (7) revisi desain produk; (8) uji coba pemakaian, dan (9) revisi produk akhir. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Tahap validasi dilakukan oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan terhadap 3 orang siswa yang dipilih secara acak, dan uji coba pemakaian dilakukan terhadap oleh 13 orang siswa yang dipilih secara acak. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kuntitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) media pembelajaran powerpoint interaktif memiliki karakteristik yang menarik bagi siswa, 2) kualitas media pembelajaran powerpoint baik sehingga dapat digunakan dengan mudah oleh guru kelas, dan 3) media pembelajaran powerpoint interaktif mendapatkan respon yang sangat baik oleh siswa sehingga dinyatakan layak digunakan. Kategori yang didapatkan dengan rata-rata yang didapatkan; ahli media 3,7 dengan kategori “Sangat Baik,” ahli materi 3,32 dengan kategori “Sangat Baik,” guru kelas 3,67 dengan kategori “Sangat Baik,” dan siswa 3,90 dengan kategori “Sangat baik.” Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang digunakan pada penelitian ini mendapatkan respon yang “Sangat Baik”.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang efektif merupakan pembelajaran yang dilakukan tidak hanya melalui penyampaian materi saja, tetapi juga menggunakan pendekatan tertentu dalam menyampaikan pembelajaran sehingga siswa dapat terdorong dalam keterlibatan aktifnya. Partisipasi aktif tersebut penting dilakukan karena menjadi salah satu indikator keberhasilan pembelajaran. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat diimplementasikan untuk mencapai indikator tersebut adalah dengan menggunakan strategi snowball throwing. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), penelitian dilakukan di SDN Cipaisan 1 Purwakarta melibatkan 27 siswa kelas 4 melalui teknik observasi dengan mengamati siswa sebelum dan sesudah strategi diterapkan serta memberikan tes dalam mengimplementasikan strategi tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan hanya terdapat 40% keterlibatan siswa yang aktif sebelum strategi diterapkan, tetapi setelah strategi snowball throwing diterapkan partisipasi siswa meningkat hingga 85%. Selain itu, hasil tes belajar yang dilakukan sebelum penerapan strategi berada pada nilai rata-rata siswa 65, tetapi setelah strategi diterapkan menjadi 80 pada nilai rata-rata siswa. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa strategi snowball throwing efektif meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa melalui suasana belajar yang menyenangkan, dinamis, dan interaktif tanpa mengurangi esensi berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu peran guru dalam menerapkan strategi inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran sehingga dapat tercapainya salah satu indikator keberhasilan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan pada Program Studi S-1 Pendidikan Kimia, Universitas Sembilanbelas November kolaka. Kegiatan PkM dilaksanakkan dengan mempertimbangkan hasil analisis situasi dan kebutuhan mahasiswa akan pemanfaatan reference management software Zotero untuk mendukung pengelolaan dokumen ilmiah mahasiswa. Pelatihan memiliki langkah-langkah: perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Metode yang digunakan pada pelatihan adalah diskusi, Latihan/praktek dan simulasi melalui online learning. Peserta pelatihan terdiri dari 34 orang mahasiswa. Luaran yang diperoleh adalah 100% peserta telah mengetahui reference Management Software dalam pengelolaan dokumen ilmiah, 85.29% peserta telah mampu mengoperasikan reference management software Zotero dan 94.12 % peserta telah memiliki apllikasi reference management software Zotero.

Abstract

This activity was motivated by the limited ability of teachers to develop interactive and engaging digital teaching materials, which affects students’ independent learning skills. In today’s digital era, teachers are required not only to master the subject matter but also to utilize technology to support an independent and enjoyable learning process. The main objective of this activity was to provide training for teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Arifah Gowa in developing teaching materials through interactive online sites as an innovative learning approach to promote student autonomy. The implementation method consisted of three main stages: planning, execution, and evaluation. During the planning stage, training materials were prepared, covering the introduction of digital platforms, techniques for developing site-based teaching materials, and practical implementation guides. The execution stage was carried out through face-to-face training sessions combined with individual practice and intensive mentoring by the implementation team. The evaluation stage was conducted through assessment of the teaching products, reflective discussions, and participant satisfaction questionnaires. This activity involved a single group of 25 teachers from Madrasah Aliyah with diverse subject backgrounds. The results showed that all participants were able to create teaching materials using Google Sites that were attractive, easily accessible to students, and aligned with their respective subjects. The materials produced have been used as independent learning resources by students at their schools. The benefits gained include improved teacher competence in digital teaching material development, increased student motivation to learn independently, and the formation of a collaborative teacher network for developing learning media. This activity emphasizes that engaging teachers in practice-based training can drive digital transformation in education and strengthen the active role of the educational community in improving student learning quality.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the perceptions of pre-service Science Education teachers regarding New Pedagogical Deep Learning (NPDL) in Indonesia. Employing a descriptive survey design, the research was conducted in Central Java Province and involved a sample of 88 pre-service Science Education teachers. Data collection was performed using a questionnaire consisting of 10 items, distributed through Google Forms, complemented by follow-up interviews. Quantitative data analysis with a descriptive approach was utilized to analyze the collected data. The study yielded three primary findings. First, Science Education pre-service teachers possess a basic understanding of the Deep Learning concept, although 16% of them exhibit misconceptions by equating Deep Learning solely with artificial intelligence (AI). Second, these pre-service teachers demonstrate interest in implementing Deep Learning in the classroom; however, they require further training to deepen their understanding of what Deep Learning entails and how to effectively apply it in science education at the school level. Third, pre-service teachers are ready to implement Deep Learning and require strong ecosystem support. They express a keen interest in applying Deep Learning in the classroom.

Abstract

Course modules must be adapted to the existing Lesson Plan. In the Integrated Science Course of the Natural Science Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Semarang, there are already course modules but its need to be adapted  to the Lesson Plan in the Odd Semester of 2024/2025. This study aims to develop adaptive digital modules of the Integrated Science course for Science Education students. The research was conducted at the Science Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Semarang in the Odd Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The research method used is R&D with Four-D Design. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and observations. Data analysis using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of the study show that the Adaptive Digital Modules has been developed according to student characteristics and can be used in lectures.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas V SD N Kedungbenda 01 Cilacap dengan jumlah siswa 10 untuk uji coba terbatas dan 11 siswa untuk uji coba lebih luas. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) kombinasi model Borg 7 Gall dan Sukmadinata. Menurut Sukmadinata dalam Nursiti (2015: 179) membagi penelitian R&D menjadi tiga tahap: (1) tahap pendahuluan, (2) tahap pengembangan, dan (3) tahap pengujian. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berdasarkan observasi, angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu wawancara analisis kebutuhan guru, analisis kebutuhan peserta didik, angket validasi oleh expert dan stakeholder, dan dokumentasi. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Produk di validasi oleh expert dan stakeholder sebelum melaksanakan uji coba. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) hasil validasi media audio visual oleh expert yaitu dengan jumlah rerata 4,9, presentase 98 % dengan kategori sangat baik dan jumlah rerata 4,4, presentase 88 % dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil validasi tersebut maka media audio visual dikatakan sangat layak digunakan Sedangkan hasil media audio visual oleh validasi stakeholder yaitu dengan jumlah rerata 4,9 dengan presentase 98 % dengan kategori sangat baik. Maka media audio visual tersebut sangat layak untuk digunakan (2) Penggunaan media audio visual Powtoon dalam pembelajaraan tematik siswa kelas V Tema 7 Peristiwa dalam Kehidupan Subtema 2 Pembelajaran 4 SD N Kedungbenda 01 Cilacap mengalami peningkatan. Hasil belajar siswa pada semester lalu memperoleh jumlah rata- rata nilai 59. Pada pada uji coba terbatas memperoleh rerata nilai 84 jumlah skor 41,5 dan rerata 4,15 dengan kategori baik. Pada uji coba lebih luas memperoleh rerata nilai 89, jumlah skor 49 dan rerata 4,45 dengan kategori baik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa produk media audio visual Powtoon sangat layak untuk digunakan pada proses dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran di kelas V SD N Kedungbenda 01 Cilacap.

Abstract

This study aims to; (1) describe the characteristics of learning animation video media in science learning on the material properties of objects and changes in the shape of objects in class V (2) determine the feasibility of animated video media for learning animation on material properties of objects and changes in the shape of objects in class V students (3 ) Knowing student responses to learning animation video media in science learning material properties of objects and changes in the shape of the object to increase student interest in learning in class V SDN Banteran 1. This type of research is development (Research and Development), there are 6 steps, namely potential problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, and product testing. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this research is using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this development research show the following results, (1) the characteristics of the learning video are made using the kinemaster application by taking class V material, namely the properties of objects and changes in the shape of objects which are then animated and put together to produce a kinemaster-based learning video. (2) the feasibility of the learning video media developed based on the results of the assessment, material experts obtained an average of 95.3 and obtained very good assessment criteria. The assessment from media experts obtained an average of 96 and obtained very good assessment criteria. The teacher's assessment was included in the "very good" category with a score of 94. (3) the response of the fifth grade students' interest in learning at SDN Banteran 1 was included in the "very good" category with a score of 85.2%.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), has reshaped teacher education by requiring the integration of technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge in instructional design. The AI-TPACK (artificial intelligencetechnological pedagogical content knowledge) framework offers a structured foundation to support such integration in science education. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of AI-TPACK-based learning in strengthening pre-service science teachers competencies in designing innovative lesson plans. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretestposttest design was implemented with three class group of undergraduate science education students at Universitas Negeri Semarang. The intervention addressed seven dimensions: content knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, AI technological knowledge, pedagogical content knowledge, AI technological content knowledge, AI technological pedagogical knowledge, and integrated AI-TPACK. Data were collected through a validated rubric and analyzed using descriptive statistics, gain scores, and paired comparison tests. The results of the study indicate a significant improvement in integration skills across all dimensions, with the greatest achievement in the integration of AI technological knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge within the students lesson plans. Consistent progress across class groups confirms the effectiveness of the AI-TPACK-based model in enhancing technological proficiency and meaningful pedagogycontent integration. The study concludes that systematic adoption of AI-TPACK in teacher education can improve professional readiness, nurture critical, creative, and collaborative skills, and contribute to Sustainable Development Goal 4 on quality education.

Abstract

Abstract Peron Village located on the western slopes of Mount Ungaran at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level, is in the upstream area of the Bodri Watershed, a priority watershed. Despite implementing an agroforestry system that combines forestry and agricultural crops, local farmers still rely heavily on synthetic herbicides containing glyphosate for weed control. This dependence poses serious risks to water quality, aquatic ecosystems, and the health of communities that rely on spring water. This community service program aims to improve ecological literacy and practical skills in making environmentally friendly herbicides using local ingredients such as coarse salt, vinegar, and sulfur. The activity was held at the Peron Village Hall with 25 participants representing the hamlets. The program included socialization of the concept of agroforestry, the theory of natural herbicides, and the practice of making organic herbicides using 1 liter of clean water, 500 g of coarse salt, 0.75 ounces of sulfur, and 100 ml of vinegar. The results showed that participants successfully produced an effective natural herbicide that controlled weeds within two days, albeit slower than synthetic herbicides, without damaging soil structure or polluting water sources. This success opens up opportunities for further development by utilizing agroforestry waste such as coffee husks as active ingredients, supporting the zero-waste concept and increasing the economic value of local commodities. This program aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals and can be replicated in other agroforestry areas in Indonesia.
