Abstract

This research aims to develop learning media in the form of a monopoly game as a learning media that is feasible and according to the needs of students on the material of norms in customs of class IV SD Muhammadiyah 1 Purworejo. The research design used is a research and development or R&D model with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The subjects of this research were fourth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Purworejo, totaling 15 students. This research produced a learning media monopoly game based on local wisdom on the material of norms in customs of grade IV SD Muhammadiyah 1 Purworejo. Based on the feasibility aspect, the lecturer validation obtained an average score of 3.4 with a very feasible category. The practicality aspect is done by the teacher getting an average score of 4 with a very practical category. While based on student responses, the limited trial with an average score of 3.6 with a very practical category and a broad trial with an average score of 3.5 with a very practical category. The effectiveness aspect of the monopoly game learning media can be seen from the completeness of student learning outcomes in the limited test getting a score of 0.58 with a medium category and the broad trial getting a score of 0.67 with a medium category, so it can be concluded that the monopoly game learning media can be declared feasible.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the implementation of the project-based learning (PjBL) model to enhance learning motivation and critical thinking skills on the topic of geometric shapes in Grade V at SD Negeri Kedungsari, Purworejo Regency. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were the teacher and 24 Grade V students, including 14 male and 10 female students. Data collection techniques and instruments included observation, interviews, and tests. Data analysis techniques employed both qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of this study show that the learning motivation of Grade V students in the geometric shapes topic had an average score of 58.2% in the pre-cycle, 75.1% in the first cycle, and 90.25% in the second cycle. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the PjBL model can increase students' learning motivation. The critical thinking skills of students applying the PjBL model were 64.1% in the pre-cycle, 72.9% in the first cycle, and 86.1% in the second cycle. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the PjBL model can enhance students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) The difficulties experienced by students are not yet mastering the main idea, difficulty in determining the main sentence and difficulty when finding sentences that are too long in a paragraph. 2) Students have difficulty in determining the main idea and explanatory ideas/supporting ideas. to find out the difficulties of students in determining the Main Idea in Narrative Story Texts of Grade IV Elementary School Babadsari. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of the study were 18 grade IV students of Elementary School Babadsari. The object of the study was the results of student tests on the main idea of ​​the paragraph in the reading text "Environment" this study was conducted to determine the difficulties of students in determining the main idea of ​​the paragraph and to determine the factors of students' difficulties in determining the main idea of ​​the paragraph. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations, and documentation. Data collection instruments used interview guidelines, and observations. This study used source triangulation. Data analysis includes 1) Data collection; (2) data reduction; (3) data presentation; 4) drawing conclusions. The results of the study are that students have the ability to determine the main idea of ​​a paragraph in a narrative text, namely that students assume that the main idea of ​​a paragraph in a narrative text is always in the first paragraph. Factors that cause students' difficulties in determining the main idea of ​​a paragraph include the lack of reading the narrative text to the end and also many students who do not pay attention during the learning process. Based on the results of the test conducted with 3 questions 1 narrative text, 11 students were able to answer correctly, while 7 other students were still unable to answer correctly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Menghasilkan modul digital terintegrasi karakter Sub Tema Jenis-jenis Pekerjaan untuk siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar, (2) Mengetahui kelayakan modul digital terintegrasi karakter Sub Tema Jenis-jenis Pekerjaan untuk siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian pengembangan (Research Development) menggunakan metode ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek penelitian peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Pacor tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 dengan jumlah 22 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, dan angket. Analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ensiklopedia digital ini adalah: 1)menghasilkan modul digital terintegrasi karakter Sub Tema Jenis-jenis Pekerjaan untuk siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar, 2) Hasil penilaian ahli media mendapatkan rerata skor 3,77 dengan kategori sangat valid, dari ahli materi mendapatkan rerata skor 3,05 dengan kategori valid, dari praktisi mendapatkan rerata skor 3,84 dengan kategori sangat valid. Kepraktisan produk dari angket respon peserta didik uji coba terbatas memperoleh rerata skor 3,46 dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan kajian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul digital terintegrasi karakter Sub Tema Jenis-jenis Pekerjaan untuk siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan belajar siswa dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pembelajaran matematika materi perkalian bilangan cacah kelas IV di SD Negeri 3 Wirun. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena materi dalam matematika saling berkaitan, jika dalam mempelajari perkalian siswa sudah mengalami kesulitan, siswa pasti akan mengalami kesulitan dalam mempelajari materi selanjutnya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 6 siswa kelas IV menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa; Subjek 1 mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep perkalian, kesulitan keterampilan berhitung perkalian, kesulitan dalam penggunaan proses, dan mengalami kesalahan dalam perhitungan. Subjek 2 mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep perkalian, kesulitan keterampilan berhitung perkalian, kesulitan dalam penggunaan proses, dan mengalami kesalahan dalam perhitungan. Subjek 3 mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep perkalian. Subjek 4 mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep perkalian. Subjek 5 mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep perkalian. Subjek 6 mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep perkalian. Tidak lancarnya belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal yang meliputi minat dan motivasi, serta sikap dan kebiasaan. Faktor eksternal meliputi media pembelajaran, metode dan strategi mengajar, kedisiplinan guru dengan siswa, sarana prasarana, serta bimbingan/perhatian orang tua.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the difficulties in reading at the beginning of class I at Muhammadiyah Kemiri Elementary School. The type of research used in the research is analytical research using qualitative methods. The research subjects were class I of Muhammadiyah Kemiri Elementary School for the 2022/2023 academic year with a total of 22 students. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The instrument of this research is a data card. The data obtained are student response tests and observations of learning implementation. Data analysis using reading fluency or lack of fluency. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. Validation of this instrument is carried out by ticking (√) in the (Fluent) column for appropriate syllables and marking (X) in the (Not Fluent) column for inappropriate syllables, then the appropriate syllables will be written in the column suggestion. The results of the validation of the performance assessment instrument to measure students' initial reading abilities are that the instrument is suitable for use with revisions.

Abstract

Seluruh daerah Indonesia mengalami dampak dari covid-19 di semua sektor terutama sektor pendidikan. Pada saat ini telah memasuki pembelajaran pasca covid-19 yaitu new normal, yang memasuki pada pembelajaran secara tatap muka atau nomal serta tetap memadukannya dengan pembelajaran virtual / daring dengan tetap menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Penerapan Blended Learning, memiliki lima kunci proses, antara lain: Live-Event yakni mampu mengintegrasikan proses pembelajaran dengan jadwal pembelajaran luring dengan daring. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan pelatihan pendidik agar peser terbiasa dengan pembelajaran tatap muka dan tatap maya. Pendidik dapat mengemas dengan 2 cara yaitu daring dan luring belum pendidik terlatih dalam menciptakan model pembelajaran yang melibatkan teknologi informasi secara tatap muka secara langsung dan tatap muka maya. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah melalui pelatihan dan angket. Pelatihan ini berlangsung selama 2 hari. Hasil angket sebelum dilakukan pealtihan menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman peserta masih sangat kurang, sedangkan hasil angket setelah dilakukannya pelatihan menunjukkan pemahaman peserta sangat baik selama pelatihan. Dampak pelatihan ini memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peserta yaitu 1) Pendidik dapat mengemas pembelajaran yang melibatkan teknologi informasi secara daring dan luring, 2) Pendidik menjadi terbiasa menerapkan model pembelajaran daring dan luring dengan baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Inggris siswa melalui penggunaan Bingo Games dalam pembelajaran di SDN Pageron Purworejo. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 5 SDN Pageron Purworejo yang berjumlah 18 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Bingo Games terbukti signifikan dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Inggris siswa. Data menunjukkan rata-rata peningkatan kosakata sebesar 72.92% setelah penerapan metode permainan ini selama 1 minggu. Peningkatan kosakata bervariasi antara siswa, dengan pe-ningkatan tertinggi mencapai 90.91% dan terendah 58.82%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa meski-pun metode ini secara umum efektif, ada perbedaan dalam dampaknya terhadap setiap siswa. Faktor-faktor seperti keterlibatan individu, motivasi, dan pemahaman awal siswa dapat mem-pengaruhi hasil. Metode permainan ini tidak hanya membantu siswa mengingat kosakata baru, tetapi juga meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, Bingo Games mendorong interaksi antar siswa, yang berkontribusi pada pencapaian hasil belajar yang lebih baik. Efforts to improve vocabulary acquisition in English language learning through Bingo Games at elementary school Abstract: This research aims to improve students' mastery of English vocabulary through the use of Bingo Games in learning at SDN Pageron Purworejo. The method used is classroom action research (PTK) with a qualitative approach. This research was carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were 18 grade 5 students at SDN Pageron Purworejo. The research results showed that the use of Bingo Games proved significant in improving students' mastery of English vocabulary. Data shows an average increase in vocabulary of 72.92% after implementing this game method for 1 week. Vocabulary increases varied between students, with the highest increase reaching 90.91% and the lowest 58.82%. This shows that although these methods are generally effective, there are differences in their impact on individual students. Factors such as individual engagement, motivation, and students' prior understanding can influence outcomes. This game method not only helps students remember new vocabulary but also increases student involvement and motivation in the learning process. In addition, Bingo Games encourage interaction between students, which contributes to achieving better learning outcomes.

Abstract

The continuity of the learning process in elementary schools cannot be separated from students' understanding of basic concepts, especially in Science. One of the important topics in science is magnetism. However, many students face difficulties in understanding this concept, which is often caused by misconceptions or misunderstandings related to magnetic phenomena. This study aims to analyze students' misconceptions in answering multiple choice questions on magnetic material with the help of the Certainty of Response Index (CRI) method as a measuring tool. This research approach is descriptive qualitative with the subject of 22 grade VI students from one of the private schools in Purwodadi District.  The results showed that 27% of students experienced misconceptions in magnetic material as a whole, with the highest misconceptions found in the indicator of determining materials that can be attracted by magnets at 55% and how to make magnets at 59%. In this study, the use of the CRI method can identify the level of understanding and misconceptions of students so that teachers can develop more effective strategies. The application of experiment-based learning and the use of interactive visual media can help reduce misconceptions and improve understanding of the concept of magnetism at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Numerasi merupakan aspek penting dalam pendidikan dasar, sehingga perlu adanya inovasi dalam metode pengajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan numerasi melalui pembelajaran berbasis game. Penelitian ini ditujukan guna membandingkan kemampuan numerasi peserta didik melalui hasil pretest dan posttest untuk menilai pengaruh game morning jarimatika. Desain penelitian yang dipakai yakni pre-experimental melalui tipe penelitian yaitu One Group Pretest-Postest. Populasi yang digunakan peserta didik kelas V dengan jumlah 20. Teknik penelitian menggunakan teknik sampling total. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal AKM kelas. Metode pengumpulan data yang dipakai yakni tes, berupa tes pretest dan posttest. Pretest untuk mengukur pemahaman awal peserta didik melalui soal AKM kelas. Sesudah itu, peserta didik diberikan game morning jarimatika dalam bentuk soal cerita. Langkah selanjutnya yaitu posttest untuk mengukur perubahan kemampuan numerasi peserta didik setelah perlakuan melalui soal AKM yang sama seperti pretest. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji statistik. Analisis deskriptif untuk menggambarkan hasil pretest dan posttest secara singkat dengan menggambarkan mean, median, standar deviasi serta nilai maksimal dan minimal. Uji normalitas dipakai untuk mendapatkan informasi data yang didapat memiliki distribusi normal ataupun tidak normal. Uji statistik yang dipakai ialah uji non-parametrik sebab data tidak berdistribusi normal sehingga menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank. Hasil penelitian Wilcoxon Sined Rank menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antar skor pretest serta posttest peserta didik setelah menggunakan game morning jarimatika dengan Sig.(2-tailed) yang besarnya 0.000 < 0.05. Dapat diputuskan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima yang diartikan terdapat pengaruh game morning jarimatika terhadap kemampuan numerasi peserta didik pada kelas V SD Negeri Wangunrejo.
