Abstract

This research aims to: 1) Develop a product in the form of a multimedia product based on local wisdom integrated with HOTS for heat transfer for fifth grade students at Sidorejo Elementary School. 2) Determine the feasibility of a multimedia product based on local wisdom integrated with HOTS for heat transfer for fifth grade students at Sidorejo Elementary School.This research and development model uses the ADDIE model. The data collection techniques used in this research include: 1) Interviews, 2) Observations, 3) Student response questionnaires, 4) Learning implementation, 5) Expert questionnaires, and 6) tests. Data analysis was conducted by calculating validity, student response questionnaire results, learning implementation results, and tests.The results of this development research are 1) Development of multimedia based on local wisdom integrated with HOTS for heat transfer material for grade V of SDN Sidorejo. 2) The feasibility of multimedia based on local wisdom integrated with HOTS for heat transfer material for grade V of SDN Sidorejo includes 3 aspects, namely validation, practicality, effectiveness. Based on the validation aspect, the experts obtained an average of 90% with very valid criteria. In the practicality aspect, based on the results of student responses, an average of 87.5% was obtained with very practical criteria and the results of learning implementation obtained an average percentage of 90.5% with very practical criteria. In the effectiveness aspect, based on the test results after using multimedia, an average N-gain of 0.845 was obtained with a high category and an interpretation of the N-gain percentage of 84.5% with very effective criteria. Therefore, it can be concluded that multimedia based on local wisdom integrated with HOTS is declared suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

Rendahnya literasi kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) di kalangan guru sekolah dasar masih menjadi kendala dalam mendukung pembelajaran inovatif berbasis digital. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas penyadaran dan pelatihan AI dalam meningkatkan kesiapan guru SD Muhammadiyah Kemiri memanfaatkan AI untuk pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket respon guru. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan keterlibatan guru berada pada kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata capaian observasi sekitar 73 persen, serta respon angket sangat tinggi sebesar 85,8 persen. Guru menunjukkan motivasi kuat dan sikap positif terhadap penggunaan AI dalam pembelajaran, walaupun kemampuan teknis mandiri masih memerlukan penguatan. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan penyadaran dan pelatihan AI dinilai efektif meningkatkan kesiapan guru sekolah dasar. Namun demikian, diperlukan pendampingan berkelanjutan agar pemanfaatan AI dapat berlangsung optimal, beretika, dan berkelanjutan dalam mendukung kualitas pembelajaran digital di sekolah dasar melalui kolaborasi guru, sekolah, dan pemangku kepentingan pendidikan secara berkesinambungan nasional dan lokal.

Abstract

The numeracy skills of students in the schools studied are still low, although numeracy is a fundamental skill needed to understand mathematical ideas. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) in improving numeracy performance among fifth grade students in elementary schools who receive support from the national teaching placement program in Kebumen Regency. This study used a pre-experimental approach with a one-group pretest-posttest structure, involving all fifth graders selected through purposive sampling who took part in contextual learning activities related to daily living situations. Numeracy ability was measured using official government instruments provided before and after the intervention. The results showed a clear improvement in numeracy performance and highlighted increased student participation and a more positive response to math teaching when based on a real-world context. The study concludes that RME contributes to strengthening students' motivation, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, and is therefore recommended as an instructional approach to support the development of essential mathematics competencies in primary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to; First, produce a product in the form of developing educational game-based learning media for cultural heritage material for grade V at SDN Kedungkamal using the ADDIE development procedure. Second, determine the feasibility of educational game-based learning media on cultural heritage material for grade V at SDN Kedungkamal based on the validity results of media experts and material experts as well as the practicality of student responses and teacher responses. The type of research used is R&D (Research and Development) ADDIE model, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of the study were 13 grade V students of SDN Kedungkamal in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data collection techniques were qualitative (observation and interview) and quantitative (media expert validation questionnaire, material expert, student responses and teacher responses) approaches. Data analysis was carried out by calculating the validity and practicality using a predetermined equation in the form of a percentage. The results of the study were; First, this study produced a product in the form of Educational Game-Based Learning Media on Cultural Heritage Material for Class V of SDN Kedungkamal, Grabag Purworejo. Second, the product's Validity results obtained a percentage of 89% with a very valid category. Third, the Practicality results obtained a percentage of 99.3% with a very practical category. Based on this study, it can be concluded that Educational Game-Based Learning Media on Cultural Heritage Material for Class V at SDN Kedungkamal, Grabag Purworejo is suitable for use as a learning medium in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to: First, develop an assessment product in the form of a spinning wheel learning assessment integrated with the Pancasila Student Profile for the topic of the history of kingdoms in Indonesia for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Kedungkamal. Second, to determine the feasibility of the spinning wheel learning assessment integrated with the Pancasila Student Profile for the topic of the history of kingdoms in Indonesia for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Kedungkamal. This research employs the R&D (Research and Development) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were 14 fourth-grade students of SD Negeri Kedungkamal in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data collection techniques included qualitative approaches (observation, interviews) and quantitative approaches (validation questionnaires from media experts, material experts, student responses, and teacher responses). Data analysis was conducted by measuring validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research results are as follows: First, this study produced a product called the Spinning Wheel Learning Assessment Integrated with the Pancasila Student Profile for the topic of the history of kingdoms in Indonesia for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Kedungkamal. Second, the product validity results showed a percentage of 91%, categorized as highly valid. The practicality results obtained a percentage of 99%, categorized as highly practical. The effectiveness aspect was evaluated based on student learning outcomes, where the limited trial achieved a score of 0.8 (high category), and the broader trial achieved a score of 0.69 (moderate category). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the Spinning Wheel Learning Assessment Integrated with the Pancasila Student Profile for the topic of the history of kingdoms in Indonesia for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Kedungkamal is feasible for use as a learning assessment in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Develop a snake and ladder board game-based educational media for the topic of cultural diversity in Indonesia for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Keburusan. 2) Determine the feasibility of implementing the developed game-based educational media in teaching cultural diversity in Indonesia for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Keburusan. This research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of five development stages. The study subjects were 21 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Keburusan. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests, using instruments such as observation sheets, learning implementation observations, interviews, expert validation from media and content specialists, teacher assessments, and student responses. Data analysis was conducted by evaluating the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the media. The results indicate that: 1) The snake and ladder board game-based educational media on Indonesia's cultural diversity was successfully developed using the ADDIE model. 2) The product feasibility results show that the validity aspect achieved an average score of 81%, categorized as "highly feasible," the practicality aspect obtained an average score of 92%, categorized as "highly practical," and the effectiveness aspect achieved an average score of 80%, categorized as "highly effective." Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the snake and ladder board game-based educational media on Indonesia's cultural diversity for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Keburusan meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness, making it suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

ABSTRAK “Analisis Kesulitan Siswa dalam Operasi Hitung Penjumlahan dan Pengurangan Bilangan Kelas II SD Negeri Kledung Kradenan”. Skripsi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, FKIP, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo, 2025. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mendeskripsikan kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan operasi hitung penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan kelas II 2) mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor penyebab kesulitan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal menghitung penjumlahan dan pengurangan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas II SD Negeri Kledung Kradenan yang berjumlah 15 siswa dan yang diambil 7 anak sesuai dengan kesulitan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes dan wawancara. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pengujian Credibility, pengujian Transferability, pengujian Dependability, dan pengujian Objektivitas. Analisis data yang digunakan merujuk pada Miles dan Hubermen yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kesulitan siswa dalam menghitung penjumlahan dan pengurangan meliputi: 1) kesulitan dalam teknik meminjam dan kesalahan menghitung hasil pengurangan bersusun 2) kesalahan pada penempatan nilai pengurangan nilai ratusan dengan puluhan 3) tidak memahami perintah soal pada kesulitan dalam menghitung hasil penjumlahan dengan teknik bersusun. Faktor internal dan faktor eksternal kesulitan menghitung 1) faktor internal, motivasi belajar yang rendah yaitu sikap dalam belajar dan kurangnya minat belajar matematika sehingga motivasi belajar yang rendah dan menimbulkan kesulitan dalam belajar matematika. 2) faktor eksternal, kurangnya pendekatan siswa dengan guru, malu bertanya atau diam membuat pembelajaran terganggu, kurangnya perhatian orang tua dalam memotivasi belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) determine the implementation of the Mind Mapping method in the topic of kingdoms in Grade IV at SDN Kepatihan; (2) determine the improvement of students' learning motivation in the topic of kingdoms in Grade IV at SDN Kepatihan; and (3) determine the improvement of students' learning outcomes in the topic of kingdoms in Grade IV at SDN Kepatihan.This research is a Classroom Action Research. The core concept of action research according to Lewin consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The study was conducted in two cycles involving 28 students. The data collection techniques used were qualitative (in the form of observation of learning implementation) and quantitative, including: (1) the percentage of learning implementation using the mind mapping method, (2) the percentage of learning motivation using a questionnaire, and (3) improvement in learning outcomes obtained through tests in each cycle.The results of this study show that: (1) The implementation of the mind mapping method was successful, with an average percentage of 70% (good category) in Cycle I and 85% (very good category) in Cycle II; (2) Students’ learning motivation in the IPAS subject on the topic of kingdoms increased from an average of 67.09% (good category) in Cycle I to 79.01% (good category) in Cycle II; (3) Students’ learning outcomes increased from an average score of 59.28 (fair category) in Cycle I to 79.45 (good category) in Cycle II. It can be concluded that the mind mapping method can improve students’ motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Learning about the cultural diversity of local wisdom at Sidosari State Elementary School still experiences several obstacles. These obstacles are related to the lack of interesting and fun learning media to facilitate teachers and students. The purpose of this study was to produce and determine the feasibility of monopoly learning media on wisdom-based cultural diversity material based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The type of research method used is research and development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of this study were 20 fourth grade students of Sidosari State Elementary School. Data collection techniques and instruments in this study used observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results of this study found that the validity of the product obtained an average score of 3.55 with a very valid category. The practicality of the product obtained an average score of 3.75 with a very practical category. The effectiveness of the product in the limited trial obtained an average score of 0.55 with a medium effective category, while in the broad trial obtained an average score of 0.39 with a medium effective category. The development of monopoly learning media is expected to provide benefits and be used as an additional reference source to increase knowledge.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Determine the application of the GI method in science. 2) Determine the increase in student engagement in science. 3) Determine the improvement in student learning outcomes in science. This study used a classroom action research (CAR) approach, implemented in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, using the Group Investigation method. The study subjects were 20 students, consisting of 10 boys and 10 girls. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that: 1) The implementation of the GI method was carried out through six stages: grouping, planning, investigation, organizing, presenting, and evaluation. 2) The increase in student engagement was evident from observations: 36% in the pre-cycle, increasing to 58% in the first meeting of cycle I and 65% in the second meeting of cycle I, reaching 78% in the first meeting of cycle II and 93% in the second meeting of cycle II. The category of student activity developed from “less active” to “quite active”, to “very active”. 3) Student learning outcomes also experienced a significant increase. With an average score of 69 in the pre-cycle, 74 in cycle I, and 88 in cycle II. The percentage of classical completion in cycle II reached 95%, exceeding the learning objective achievement criteria (KKTP). Thus, the application of the Group Investigation method has proven effective in increasing student activity and learning outcomes in the subject of science.
