Abstract

In today's digital era, more and more internet users are sharing their experiences and opinions about certain products. Sentiment analysis can be used to extract valuable information from the data generated by the shopee application users. This study aims to conduct a sentiment analysis of Roundup product reviews. The method used is the Support Vector Machine (SVM). SVM is an effective machine learning method for classifying text based on positive or negative sentiments. The purpose of this study is the SVM model which can be used to perform sentiment analysis automatically on Roundup product reviews. The results of this analysis can provide important insights for Roundup producers in understanding consumer perceptions of their products. In addition, this research can also be a guide for consumers in choosing and understanding weed killer products that suit their needs and preferences. In this study, the accuracy value was 80%, the precision value was 80%, the recall value was 100% and the value F1 score of 88.89%.

Abstract

Avobenzone and oxybenzone are commonly used ultraviolet (UV) filters in sunscreen products, offering broad-spectrum protection against harmful solar radiation. Accurate determination of these compounds in sunscreen formulations is crucial for quality control and ensuring consumer safety. This study aimed to develop and validate a high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for the simultaneous determination of avobenzone and oxybenzone in commercial sunscreens. The HPLC method utilized a C₁₈ column with a mobile phase of methanol:aquabidest (93:7, v/v) at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min and a detection wavelength of 320 nm. The method was validated for linearity, sensitivity, selectivity, precision, and accuracy. The validated method was then applied to quantify avobenzone and oxybenzone in three different brands of commercial sunscreen products. The developed HPLC method demonstrated excellent linearity for both avobenzone (r = 0.9998) and oxybenzone (r = 0.9995). The method was also highly sensitive with low limits of detection (LOD) and quantitation (LOQ) for avobenzone (0.13 μg/mL and 0.43 μg/mL, respectively) and oxybenzone (0.35 μg/mL and 1.15 μg/mL, respectively). The method exhibited good selectivity and precision (%RSD ≤ 2%). Accuracy, as determined by recovery experiments, was within the acceptable range (100.01%-100.77% for avobenzone and 99.66%-100.81% for oxybenzone). The levels of avobenzone and oxybenzone in the analyzed sunscreen brands (A, B, and C) were found to be within the regulatory limits. In conclusion, the validated HPLC method provides a reliable and efficient means for the simultaneous quantification of avobenzone and oxybenzone in sunscreen products, contributing to the quality control and safety of these widely used formulations.

Abstract

Power transformers are the main equipment in the electrical power system that is directly related to the distribution of electricity. One of the most important parts of a power transformer is its insulation system. Over time and operation, the condition of the insulation can deteriorate, which can cause operational failures and damage to the transformer. The purpose of the study was to determine the condition of the quality of insulation resistance in power transformers. The method was a literature study used to deepen the material related to the research title and data collection at the ULTG Ende Substation. The data taken were the results of polarization index, tangent delta and breakdown voltage tests. Based on the analysis results, the polarization index value in 2020 on the primary-ground side was 1.21 and the primary-secondary side was 1.23, but in 2022 it increased to 1.27 and 1.28. The tangent delta calculation results in 2020 on the secondary side on the CLG insulation was 0.64% and in 2022 it was 0.58%, which showed a decrease in insulation (0.5% - 0.7%). For breakdown voltage in 2020 it was 42.2 kV and OLTC 32.4 kV and in 2022 it was 41.1 kV and OLTC was 31.4 kV.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the law of fulfilling maintenance for long-distance couples, both material and spiritual, is viewed in Koncer Kidul Village, Tenggarang Subdistrict, Bondowoso Regency, from the perspective of the Syafi’i school of thought. The methodology used is qualitative with a case study approach, where data was collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation studies. The research results indicate several legal considerations regarding the fulfillment of maintenance for long-distance couples in the village, influenced by factors such as needs and existing debts. It is hoped that this research can serve as a consideration for the community to carefully think about engaging in long-distance relationships. Abstract

Pengelolaan Dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) merupakan instrumen strategis untuk meningkatkan akses dan mutu pendidikan, terutama di wilayah pedesaan dengan sumber daya terbatas. Namun, efektivitas program ini seringkali terkendala oleh kurangnya efisiensi dan transparansi dalam pengelolaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi prinsip efisiensi dan transparansi dalam pengelolaan Dana BOS di MIS Miftahul Ulum Taman serta dampaknya terhadap mutu pendidikan. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dari berbagai pemangku kepentingan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan Dana BOS di MIS Miftahul Ulum melibatkan perencanaan terstruktur melalui Rencana Kerja dan Anggaran Madrasah (RKAM), penggunaan aplikasi teknologi, serta monitoring dan evaluasi berkala. Dampak positif meliputi peningkatan fasilitas pendidikan, kompetensi guru, dan prestasi siswa, meskipun masih terdapat kendala teknis seperti gangguan server dan keterbatasan sumber daya. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengelolaan Dana BOS yang efisien dan transparan berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan, serta memberikan wawasan praktis dan teoretis untuk optimalisasi kebijakan pendidikan di madrasah serupa.

Abstract

Economic growth is the most important component of Indonesia's national development because economic growth can be said to be a component that plays an important role in providing an assessment of economic performance. This research aims to determine the influence of the components of the human development index and poverty on the economic growth of the districts/cities of D.I Yogyakarta. This research uses secondary data sourced from the official website of the Central Statistics Agency. The data used is panel data, namely a combination of time series and cross section data. The appropriate model is the Random Effect Model. The variables used in this research are average years of schooling, life expectancy, per capita expenditure, number of poor people and minimum wage. The results of this research are that the life expectancy variable has a positive and significant effect on economic growth, per capita expenditure has a positive and significant effect on economic growth, while the average length of schooling has no effect on economic growth, the number of poor people has no effect on economic growth and the minimum wage has no effect. on the economic growth of the districts/cities of D.I Yogyakarta. Each independent variable significantly influences the dependent variable simultaneously

Abstract

This study investigates the use of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) with YouTube media to enhance listening skills and motivation among junior high school students. Conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Gresik, the research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative data. The pre-experimental design assessed students' listening skills before and after a four-week intervention, while questionnaires captured their motivation levels. The findings reveal a significant improvement in students' listening comprehension, as evidenced by an increase in mean test scores from 48.00 in the pre-test to 79.33 in the post-test, with a p-value of 0.000 indicating statistical significance. Additionally, motivation levels improved, with students expressing heightened engagement and interest in the learning process. The integration of authentic and dynamic YouTube content within the PBL framework fostered a more interactive and engaging learning environment, addressing common challenges such as limited motivation and anxiety. The study concludes that the combination of PBL and YouTube media is an effective instructional strategy for enhancing listening skills and motivation in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) contexts. It offers practical insights for educators seeking innovative approaches to language instruction and underscores the importance of integrating technology into active learning methodologies.

Abstract

Penerapan teori belajar behavioristik dengan model pembelajaran problem based learning melalui bantuan media papan pintar guna meningkatkan motivasi belajar mata peajaran matematika di kelas IV UPT SD Negeri 73 Gresik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah umtuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar matematika peserta didik kelas IV UPT SD Negeri 73 Gresik dengan pendekatan teori belajar behavioristik melalui penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) dengan bantuan media papan pintar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pre-test dan post-test. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 20 peserta didik kelas IV UPT SD Negeri 73 Gresik yang dikumpulkan melalui teknik penelitian purposive sampling . Data diperoleh melalui mekanisme tes dan observasi melalui metode kualitatif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa teori belajar behavioristik dengan model pembelajaran PBL melalui bantuan media papan pintar dapat meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik kelas IV UPT SD Negeri 73 Gresik untuk belajar mata pelajaran matematika. Nilai rata-rata post-test 81,00 dibandingkan dengan nilai pre-test yaitu 54,00, nilai pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan perbedaan jumlah yang signifikan, dengan nilai p 0,000. Berdasarkan hasil pemaparan sebelumnya, maka dapat ditarik suatu kesimpulan jika pembelajaran yang menggunakan pendekatan teori belajar behavioristik dengan model problem based learning melalui media papan pintar dapat meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

This research aims to solve the problem of low student writing skills. Through the Project Based Learning model, it is expected to be able to improve students' writing skills, especially in Indonesian language subjects on persuasion text material. This research is included in the type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) using the model of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model. The subjects of this study were 31 students of class VIII E SMPN 1 Geneng, Ngawi. The approach in this study used qualitative descriptions. While the data collection techniques used test and non-test instruments in the form of observation sheets. Analysis of data for each cycle obtained test results that in cycle 1 student completeness only reached 6.45% (not yet achieved) then in the improvement in cycle 2 it increased to 16.12% (has been achieved). In addition, the non-test results showed that the effectiveness of using the Project Based Lerning learning model in cycle 1 was 90.32% (less) and increased in cycle 2 to 90% (very good).

Abstract

Abstract - This study aims to examine and correlate students’ perceptions, interests, and attitudes toward implementing Project-Based Learning (PjBL) through YouTube video projects in English language learning. Using a mixed-methods design, this study combined quantitative data from questionnaires with qualitative data from semi-structured interviews. Participants consisted of 70 eleventh-grade students from SMAN 1 Pacitan who had been involved in YouTube-based PjBL activities during English language teaching. The questionnaire was designed to assess three main constructs: perceptions (cognitive, affective, conative), interests (individual, situational, topic-based), and attitudes (cognitive, affective, behavioral). Prior to data analysis, the instrument was subjected to validity and reliability tests. All items were deemed valid based on the item-total correlation value, and the reliability analysis yielded a Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of 0.976, indicating excellent internal consistency. The findings revealed that students generally responded positively to the integration of YouTube-based PjBL, considering it an innovative and engaging approach that increased their motivation and participation in English language learning. Students also reported increased interest, particularly in producing creative content and collaborating with peers. Attitudinal responses indicated greater confidence, enjoyment, and willingness to communicate in English. Overall, the implementation of YouTube video projects within a PjBL framework proved effective in fostering a more dynamic and student-centered English learning environment. The study suggests that the integration of digital media, when aligned with project-based methodologies, has significant potential to enrich language teaching and enhance 21st century skills.
