Abstract

Seiring dengan meningkatnya usia maka lansia kemugkinan besar juga akan mengalami penurunan kognitif. Perubahan kognitif yang terjadi pada lansia, meliputi berkurangnya kemampuan meningkatkan fungsi intelektual. Penurunan fungsi intelektual dan ingatan yang sangat berat dapat menyebabkan gangguan dalam aktivitas sehari-hari. Jumlah lansia di Kabupaten Tuban terbanyak di Kecamatan Semanding. Tujuan penelitian mengidentifikasi fungsi intelektual pada lansia di Desa Prunggahan Kulon Kecamatan Semanding Kabupaten Tuban. Desain penelitian deskriptif. Populasi semua lansia usia 65-75 tahun di Desa Prunggahan Kulon Kecamatan Semanding Kabupaten Tuban, tahun 2023, sebanyak 1381 orang, sampel 138 responden, tehnik purposive sampling. Variabel penelitiannya fungsi intelektual pada lansia. Pengumpulan data dengan lembar kuesioner kemudian di editing, coding, scoring dan tabulating selanjutnya dideskripsikan. Dari hasil penelitian lebih dari sebagian kerusakan intelektual ringan pada lansia sebanyak 90 orang dan kurang dari sebagian kerusakan intelektual sedang 8 orang di Desa Prunggahan Kulon Kecamatan Semanding Kabupaten Tuban. Kesimpulannya lansia mengalami kerusakan intelektual. Diharapkan menggunakan alat bantu seperti kalender, pengingat, atau catatan tulisan juga dapat membantu mengingat informasi yang penting dan penting serta aktif mengikuti posyandu lansia dan mengikuti program senam lansia yang diselenggarakan.

Abstract

Stunting yaitu kondisi tinggi badan balita yang kurang jika dibandingkan dengan umurnya. Stunting memiliki dampak jangka panjang diantaranya terganggunya tumbuh kembang anak secara fisik, mental dan intelektual yang sifatnya permanen. Untuk mengurangi dampak jangka panjang diperlukan sebuah permainan edukatif yang dapat meningkatkan perkembangan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan “Aku Bisa” terhadap perkembangan anak pre-school stunting di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Balen Kabupaten Bojonegoro Tahun 2023. Desain penelitian pre-experimental dengan pendekatan pretest-postest, populasinya seluruh anak usia pre-school stunting usia 3-5 tahun di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Balen Kabupaten Bojonegoro tahun 2023 sejumlah 35 anak, Sampel dengan simple random sampling dan diperoleh sebanyak 26 responden. Variabel independennya permainan “aku bisa” dan variabel dependennya perkembangan anak. Instrument menggunakan Denver II. Pengolahan data dengan editing, coding, scoring, tabulating dan dianalisa dengan crosstab’. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa dari 26 responden, sebelum dilakukan permainan “Aku Bisa” terdapat sebagian responden dengan perkembangan tidak normal yaitu 13 responden (50,0%), dan setelah dilakukan permainan “Aku Bisa” terdapat lebih dari sebagian responden dengan perkembangan normal yaitu 17 responden (65,4%). H0 ditolak, maka ada pengaruh permainan “aku bisa” terhadap perkembangan anak pre-school stunting. Disimpulkan bahwa permainan ”Aku Bisa” dapat menstimulus perkembangan anak stunting. Disarankan keluarga dapat memberikan permainan edukatif secara berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan perkembangan anak.

Abstract

Background: Children with special needs possess intellectual potential comparable to that of typically developing peers; however, they often face challenges related to communication, social adaptation, and learning that necessitate structured family and educational support. Within this context, family engagement plays a crucial role in fostering academic and psychosocial development, especially for children with hearing impairments who require inclusive learning environments. Purpose: to explore the application of the Family-Centered Nursing theory in the educational setting of children with hearing impairments, specifically analyzing the relationship between parental support and academic achievement. Method: A quantitative cross-sectional correlational design was employed involving 44 parents of children with hearing impairments enrolled at the Special School (SLB) in Bojonegoro City, Indonesia. Data was obtained using a validated 22-item parental support questionnaire (Cronbach’s alpha = 0.929) and students’ report card scores as indicators of academic performance. Statistical analysis was conducted using the Spearman’s rho correlation test. Results: The findings demonstrated a strong and positive correlation between parental support and academic achievement (Spearman’s rho = 0.870, p < 0.05). Higher levels of emotional, informational, appraisal, and instrumental support were significantly associated with better academic performance, with emotional support emerging as the most influential factor enhancing motivation and learning engagement among children. Conclusion: The study highlights the theoretical and practical significance of the Family-Centered Nursing approach beyond healthcare contexts, emphasizing its relevance in promoting inclusive education for children with disabilities. The results underscore the need for family-based educational interventions and interdisciplinary collaboration among nurses, educators, and policymakers to strengthen parental involvement and improve academic outcomes for children with hearing impairments.

Abstract

Background: Nutrition counseling/education provided to pregnant women with Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) by nutritionists and midwives is not optimal due to the continued use of conventional methods. A technology-based information system is recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) for service delivery. Purpose: To analyze the effect of personalized nutritional recommendations for pregnant women with Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) based on a website. Method: The study design used a quasi-experimental nonequivalent pretest-posttest with a control group. A sample size of 30 participants was divided into two groups: 15 participants in the intervention group and 15 pregnant women in the control group. The intervention group received nutrition education through a website application, while the control group received education through flyers. The study instruments included a knowledge questionnaire and a 24-hour food recall to measure energy intake. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests with a significance level of p < 0.05. Results: Personalized nutritional recommendations through a website application significantly influenced the knowledge level of pregnant women with CED, with an α value of 0.0001 (< 0.05). The use of website applications has been proven to be more effective in improving nutritional understanding and energy consumption patterns of pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency (CED) compared to conventional print media. Conclusion: Website-based digital educational media can be a strategic alternative in promoting nutritional health for pregnant women to reduce the risk of CED and prevent stunting during pregnancy.   Keywords: Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED); Nutritional Needs; Pregnant Women; Website Media.   Pendahuluan: Pemberian konseling/edukasi gizi pada ibu hamil Kekurangan Energi Kronis (KEK) oleh tenaga gizi maupun bidan belum optimal karena masih menggunakan metode konvensional, sistem informasi berbasis teknologi merupakan rekomendasi World Health Organization (WHO) dalam memberikan pelayanan. Tujuan: Untuk menganalisis pengaruh personalisasi rekomendasi kebutuhan gizi pada ibu hamil kekurangan energi kronis (KEK) berbasis website. Metode: Desain penelitian menggunakan quasi experimental nonequivalent pretest-posttest with control group dengan jumlah sampel 30 partisipan yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, masing-masing 15 partisipan pada kelompok intervensi dan 15 partisipan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok intervensi diberikan edukasi gizi melalui aplikasi website, sedangkan kelompok kontrol memperoleh edukasi dengan media flyer. Instrumen penelitian meliputi kuesioner pengetahuan dan food recall 24 jam untuk mengukur asupan energi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan Mann-Whitney dengan tingkat signifikansi p < 0.05. Hasil: Adanya personalisasi kebutuhan gizi dengan aplikasi website memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tingkat pengetahuan ibu hamil KEK dengan nilai α yaitu 0.0001 (< 0.05). Penggunaan aplikasi website terbukti lebih efektif meningkatkan pemahaman gizi dan pola konsumsi energi ibu hamil KEK dibandingkan media cetak konvensional. Simpulan: Media edukasi digital berbasis website dapat menjadi alternatif strategis dalam promosi kesehatan gizi ibu hamil untuk menurunkan risiko KEK dan mencegah stunting sejak masa kehamilan.   Kata Kunci: Ibu Hamil; Kebutuhan Gizi; Kekurangan Energi Kronis (KEK); Media Website.
