Abstract

Posyandu cadres are at the forefront of handling stunting due to their direct involvement in the community. In addition to driving participation in environmental prevention and empowerment efforts, Posyandu Cadres also provide assistance, education and early detection in stunting cases. This then positions the Cadre to have a strategic role in monitoring maternal and child health. For this great responsibility, Posyandu Cadres need to have skills in communication. This will be the foundation for cadres to conduct health education, build trust and correct misinformation. With good communication, cadres can have a greater impact on maternal and child health, including reducing the number of stunting cases. Therefore, this communication training activity was carried out to answer the anxiety of Posyandu Cadres who felt unconfident in carrying out their duties and roles. This activity was initiated by PT PHE NSO as a form of social responsibility, especially in its operational area by collaborating with the Oil and Gas Center. This program is part of the assistance to the Paloh Punti Village Posyandu which has previously supported the Supplementary Feeding (PMT) to the vulnerable target groups, namely pregnant women who experience Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK) and toddlers who are malnourished or do not gain weight. This training will not only equip cadres technically but also conceptually in designing educational strategies that are communicative and empathetic to the needs of the community so as to encourage the achievement of active family involvement in dealing with stunting.

Abstract

Improving teacher competency is more effective when supported by continuous professional development. This Community Service Program continues previous activities in 2024, which focused on training chemistry teachers to develop argumentation-based questions. Although teachers can now construct such questions, challenges remain in classroom implementation, especially in applying strategies and assessing their impact on students’ argumentation skills. To address this, the program introduces Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on argumentation skills. The goal is to equip chemistry teachers with practical knowledge and skills to design and implement learning that fosters argumentation through CAR. The program includes training, group discussions, tests and questionnaires, mentoring in CAR planning, implementation practice, and reflection. Results show improved teacher understanding of argumentation structures, CAR stages, and enhanced ability to design contextual and reflective learning to develop students’ argumentation skills. This program supports the sustainable development of argumentation-based learning to improve the quality of chemistry education in line with 21st-century demands. This program demonstrates an effective model for sustaining argumentation-based learning in chemistry education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning strategies of students with intellectual disabilities using E-LAPD-based Liveworksheets on the nomenclature of chemical compounds by applying the UDL (Universal Design for Learning) approach. The research method used is a mixed of quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative analysis uses validation results and pretest and posttest scores. Pretest and posttest data were analyzed using N-gain. Qualitative analysis uses the results of interviews with students with intellectual disabilities, which will be analyzed using the NVivo application. The results of this study indicate that the application of the UDL (Universal Design for Learning) approach to students with intellectual disabilities is practical to implement. This is evidenced by the results of student interviews analyzed using the NVivo application using Cluster Analysis, grouping codes or themes based on their similarities in the text, producing a similarity matrix. In addition, this is evidenced by the pretest and posttest data analyzed using N-gain scores showing a good category with an N-gain score of ≥ 0.7. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the application of the UDL (Universal Design for Learning) approach with E-LAPD to students with intellectual disabilities on the nomenclature of chemical compounds is practical to implement.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine whether there are differences in financial performance between conventional banks and Islamic banks. The variables in this study are banking financial ratios namely LFR, LAR, ROA, ROE, BOPO or REO, NIM or NOM, CAR, NPL or NPF. This research uses descriptive statistical tests and statistical differences tests, namely non-parametric tests (mann whitney test) and is strengthened by removing outlier data and conducting parametric tests (independent sample t-test). The object of this research is the Commercial Bank in the 2014-2020 research period. There are 3 stages in this research, namely descriptive statistical tests to find out the mean value of each bank, then normality test as one of the requirements for conducting independent sample t-parametric tests. test and the last is to do statistical difference test. If the data is normally distributed, then an independent sample t-test parametric test will be carried out and if the data is not normally distributed then a non-parametric mann whitney test will be carried out. The results of this study indicate if conventional banks have better performance in the ratio of LFR, LAR,ROA, ROE, BOPO or REO, NIM or NOM and NPL or NPF. While Islamic banks have better performance in the CAR ratio. While the statistical test of Islamic banks and conventional banks has a significant difference in the ratio of ROA, BOPO or REO, NIM or NOM and NPL or NPF. And do not have a significant difference in the ratio of LFR, LAR, ROE. While there are differences in the results of conventional banks and Islamic banks CAR, the Mann Whitney test results are no differences in conventional banks and Islamic banks, while the independent sample t-test shows that there are differences between conventional banks and Islamic banks.
