Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of discounts and flash sales on consumer impulsivity in the TikTok Shop marketplace, focusing on Generation Z consumers in Bima City. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The sample consisted of 90 respondents selected through purposive sampling, with criteria including Generation Z consumers residing in Bima City, owning a TikTok Shop account, and having made purchases during flash sale programs. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, partial (t) tests, simultaneous (F) tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results indicate that discounts have a positive and significant effect on consumer impulsivity, whereas flash sales do not have a significant effect on consumer impulsivity. Simultaneously, discounts and flash sales have a positive and significant effect on consumer impulsivity in the TikTok Shop marketplace. These findings suggest that discount programs are a more dominant factor in encouraging impulse buying behavior among Generation Z consumers. This study is limited to Generation Z consumers in Bima City; therefore, future research is recommended to expand the study area and incorporate additional variables that may influence consumer impulsivity

The study used a quantitative approach with an associative research type. The study population was all customers at Super Geprek Sape Restaurant in Bima Regency, with a sample of 96 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS program. Data analysis included validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, correlation coefficients, determination coefficients, t-tests, and F-tests. The results showed that cafe atmosphere, menu variation, and price had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. These findings indicate that a comfortable restaurant atmosphere, diverse menu variations, and prices that are in accordance with the quality of products and services are important factors in increasing customer satisfaction. These three variables were able to explain 37.8% of the variation in customer satisfaction, while the rest was influenced by other factors outside the study. Thus, improving the quality of the restaurant atmosphere, menu innovation, and appropriate pricing can be effective strategies to increase customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of consumer behavior and marketing mix on purchasing decisions in mobile coffee businesses in Bima City. The research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS 26. The results indicate that consumer behavior has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, with a regression coefficient of 0.519 and a significance value of 0.000. The marketing mix also has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, with a regression coefficient of 0.438 and a significance value of 0.000. Simultaneously, consumer behavior and marketing mix significantly influence purchasing decisions, as indicated by an F-value of 721.347 and a significance level of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.937 shows that 93.7% of the variation in purchasing decisions can be explained by both variables. These findings suggest that understanding consumer characteristics and implementing an effective marketing mix are essential for increasing consumer purchasing decisions in mobile coffee businesses in Bima City.
