Abstract

This study examines the role of career development and work-life balance on job satisfaction among healthcare workers in Kubu Raya, West Kalimantan, with a focus on work engagement as a mediating variable. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data were collected from 210 health workers through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and tools AMOS to processed the data. The results of this study indicate that career development and work-life balance have a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. Additionally, this research successfully tested the role of work engagement in mediating the indirect effect of career development and work-life balance on job satisfaction. Although the work engagement variable can mediate the relationship between career development and job satisfaction, it has not been able to mediate the relationship between work-life balance and job satisfaction. Furthermore, work engagement in this study also has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. These results will underscore the importance of fostering career growth opportunities and promoting a balanced work-life environment to enhance employee satisfaction and performance. The insights gained from this research offer valuable guidance for healthcare organizations and policymakers aiming to improve workforce well-being and organizational productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of grit and perceived organizational support on job-hopping intention, with job satisfaction serving as a mediating variable among Generation Z employees in the retail sector of West Kalimantan. A quantitative research approach was employed, utilizing a survey method with purposive and snowball sampling techniques. The study involved 230 respondents aged 18–27 years, each with a minimum work tenure of six months. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS 4 software. The findings indicate that grit and perceived organizational support do not have a direct and statistically significant effect on job-hopping intention. However, both grit and perceived organizational support significantly influence job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction has a significant effect on job-hopping intention and mediates the relationship between grit and perceived organizational support and job-hopping intention. These findings underscore the critical role of job satisfaction in reducing employees' intention to switch jobs and provide practical implications for human resource management, particularly in retaining Generation Z employees in the retail industry.

Abstract

 The rise of digital technologies has reshaped the business landscape, pushing organizations to adapt to remain competitive. This study explores how Digital Technology, Organisational Culture, and Leadership Skills relate to Organisational Sustainability, with a particular focus on the industrial sector in West Java. Data were collected from employees and leaders at various levels using a questionnaire, with 162 respondents. The analysis involved testing construct validity and reliability (through Cronbach's alpha and Composite Reliability), as well as conducting path analysis to evaluate direct and indirect effects among independent, mediating, and dependent variables. The results show that adopting digital technologies, an improved organisational culture, and strong leadership competencies all contribute to greater organisational resilience and sustainability. However, the study also highlights a gap: many organisations still lack an adaptive culture and the essential leadership skills to navigate ongoing technological change. These findings offer valuable insights for practitioners and organizational leaders is to develop an inclusive and innovative organizational culture alongside adaptable leadership systems, while also embracing digital transformation in a way that responsibly addresses its social and ethical implications such as privacy, data security, and environmental sustainability to ensure long-term resilience, relevance, and positive impact on all stakeholders.

Abstract

Kepuasan kerja adalah indikator utama untuk mengevaluasi seberapa baik hubungan antara karyawan dan organisasi mereka. Fenomena perubahan generasi di dunia kerja semakin nyata, terutama dengan masuknya Generasi Z. Lingkungan kerja yang nyaman akan membuat karyawan merasa nyaman di tempat kerja mereka. Seorang pekerja akan merasa lebih baik secara mental dan fisik jika ada Work-Life Balance yang efektif. Sifat kepatuhan dan kesetiaan karyawan pada perusahaan yang terlihat dari perilaku dan sikap mereka disebut loyalitas karyawan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari bagaimana lingkungan kerja dan Work-Life Balance memengaruhi kepuasan kerja Generasi Z di sektor swasta Indonesia, dengan loyalitas karyawan sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kuantitatif. Purposive Sampling adalah teknik pengambilan sampel yang tidak memiliki kemampuan. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah 167 orang yang menjawab. SmartPLS 3 digunakan untuk melakukan analisis data dengan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja dan kepuasan kerja memengaruhi loyalitas karyawan. Loyalitas karyawan sangat dipengaruhi oleh Work-Life Balance dan kepuasan kerja. Namun, variabel Work-Life Balance tidak berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap loyalitas karyawan, ini menunjukkan meskipun karyawan merasa Work-Life Balance yang baik, itu tidak membuat mereka lebih setia kepada perusahaan. Untuk penelitian lebih lanjut, variabel kompensasi yang memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap loyalitas karyawan, harus digunakan.

Abstract

Di Indonesia, puskesmas memainkan peran penting dalam penyediaan layanan kesehatan, tetapi sering menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti tingkat pekerjaan yang tinggi, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan tekanan pekerjaan, yang semuanya dapat memengaruhi kesehatan tenaga kesehatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kelelahan bagi tenaga kesehatan di Puskesmas Ambawang, dengan penekanan khusus pada hubungan antara konflik di tempat kerja dan tekanan kerja yang berlebihan dan stres di tempat kerja. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode Smart PLS. Populasi total adalah 100 orang, dan teknik purposive sampling digunakan untuk mengambil 49 sampel. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa work family conflict dan work overload juga berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap burnout, sementara work overload tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan, meskipun arahnya positif. Namun, job stress tidak terbukti memediasi hubungan antara work family conflict dan work overload dan burnout.

Abstract

This study seeks to examine the impact of work-life balance and occupational stress on turnover intention, with the work environment serving as a mediating variable. This study employs a quantitative methodology. The employed sample approach is purposive sampling. This research's population comprises 151 millennial respondents from West Kalimantan. The study employs Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) analysis utilising SMARTPLS 4 software. The research findings indicate that work-life balance adversely and significantly influences turnover intention. Occupational stress exerts a favourable and substantial influence on turnover intention. The equilibrium between work and personal life positively and significantly influences the work environment. Occupational stress adversely and substantially impacts the work environment. The work environment adversely and substantially influences turnover intention. The work-life balance adversely and significantly influences turnover intention via the work environment. Work-related stress exerts a favourable and substantial influence on turnover intention via the work environment. This research indicates that increased employee stress correlates with a heightened propensity to resign. A supportive and cheerful workplace can mitigate the adverse effects of work-related stress and enhance work-life balance, hence decreasing the propensity to resign.

Abstract

Abstrak: Hutan merupakan paru-paru dunia yang berperan penting dalam menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem dan keberlangsungan makhluk hidup. Namun, di beberapa wilayah Kabupaten Lamongan, terjadi alih fungsi hutan menjadi lahan jagung akibat minimnya kesadaran masyarakat tentang manfaat hutan dalam mitigasi bencana. Padahal, keberadaan hutan sangat penting untuk mencegah tanah longsor, banjir bandang, serta meningkatkan daya serap air ke dalam tanah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya nyata seperti reboisasi dan edukasi masyarakat guna meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya pelestarian hutan. Kegiatan ini mencakup penyuluhan melalui ceramah dan sesi tanya jawab mengenai ancaman bencana di Lamongan serta cara mengantisipasinya, disertai dengan aksi penanaman pohon. Sebanyak 84 peserta turut serta, terdiri dari perangkat desa (5 orang), warga Dusun Cancing (22 orang), mahasiswa (23 orang), serta tamu undangan (34 orang). Hasil post-test menunjukkan 65% peserta memiliki pemahaman sangat baik, 21% baik, 7% cukup, dan 7% kurang. Hasil ini menegaskan efektivitas edukasi dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat. Namun, diperlukan upaya berkelanjutan bagi peserta yang masih memiliki pemahaman terbatas agar kesadaran lingkungan semakin merata dan berkelanjutan.Abstract: Forests are the lungs of the Earth, playing a crucial role in maintaining ecosystem balance and sustaining life. However, in several areas of Lamongan Regency, forests have been converted into cornfields due to a lack of public awareness about their benefits in disaster mitigation. In fact, forests are essential for preventing landslides, flash floods, and enhancing groundwater absorption. Therefore, concrete efforts such as reforestation and community education are necessary to raise awareness about the importance of forest conservation. This activity included educational sessions through lectures and discussions on disaster threats in Lamongan and ways to anticipate them, along with a tree-planting initiative. A total of 84 participants took part, consisting of village officials (5 people), residents of Cancing Hamlet (22 people), students (23 people), and invited guests (34 people). The post-test results showed that 65% of participants had excellent understanding, 21% good, 7% fair, and 7% poor. These results confirm the effectiveness of the educational program in increasing community awareness. However, continuous efforts are needed for participants with limited understanding to ensure environmental awareness is more widespread and sustainable.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi sumber daya manusia (SDM) di industri lokal melalui pendekatan pengelolaan SDM berbasis kompetensi. Pelatihan yang diberikan berfokus pada peningkatan keterampilan teknis dan soft skills, seperti komunikasi dan kepemimpinan, yang diperlukan untuk menunjang daya saing industri. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa para peserta mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan teknis terkait teknologi dan operasional industri, serta peningkatan kemampuan interpersonal dalam bekerja dalam tim. Evaluasi juga mengungkap bahwa kompetensi yang diperoleh memberikan dampak positif terhadap produktivitas kerja. Namun, terdapat tantangan dalam implementasi hasil pelatihan, terutama resistensi perubahan dari pihak manajemen. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya sinergi antara akademisi dan pelaku industri dalam mengembangkan SDM yang adaptif dan kompetitif. Pengelolaan SDM berbasis kompetensi terbukti menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan daya saing industri lokal di era globalisasi. Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan Knowledge Management dan kepemimpinan (Leadership) serta kinerja organisasi (Organizational Performance) terhadap keunggulan kompetitif (Competitive Advantage) yang dimediasi oleh Efektivitas Sistem Informasi di BRI Corporate University Ragunan. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui metode survei yang diberikan kepada responden yang merupakan karyawan BRI Corporate University Ragunan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik convenience sampling. Analisis data menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif, analisis regresi, dan analisis mediasi dengan memakai instrumen SPSS 24 dengan jumlah sampel 110 responden. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa penerapan Knowledge Management dan Leadership memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap Organizational Performance (Kinerja Organisasi). Selain itu, Kinerja Organisasi juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keunggulan Daya Saing. Efektivitas Sistem Informasi memiliki peran mediasi yang signifikan antara penerapan Knowledge Management, Leadership, dan Organizational Performance terhadap Keunggulan Daya Saing. Implikasi penelitian ini memberi pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang pentingnya integrasi Knowledge Management, Leadership, Kinerja Organisasi, dan Sistem Informasi dalam menciptakan Keunggulan Daya Saing bagi BRI Corporate University Ragunan dan organisasi serupa di masa depan.

Abstract

Introduction: Online learning is a global trend in higher education in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. Online learning becomes one of the approaches available to most students and educators, as opposed to face-to-face learning. The aim of this research is to find out the correlation of online learning and satisfaction among nursing students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: This study was a cross-sectional approach involving 177 second-year nursing students randomly selected resulting in 121 students. Students filled out an online learning questionnaire consisting of 14 items and a satisfaction questionnaire consisting of 21 items from Google Forms. Data were analysed using logistic regression with level of significance (p=0.000). Results: The online learning indicator that had the highest average value was relevance (3.12), while the highest average value of student satisfaction indicator was content (3.05). Logistic regression showed that the online learning indicator that greatly affected student satisfaction was attractiveness. Fair attractiveness for online learning increased satisfaction by 7.516 times compared to poor attractiveness (p = 0.000) and good attractiveness for online learning increased satisfaction by 55.538 times compared to poor attractiveness (p = 0.000). Conclusions: Student satisfaction depends heavily on student attractiveness to the online learning process. Lecturers can increase the attractiveness of students toward online learning, whether through the utilized media, learning methods, or the technology of delivering lecture materials.
