Abstract

Menurut PISA kemampuan literasi sains di Indonesia tergolong masih rendah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan literaasi sains siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Labang yang diukur dengan menggunakan instrumen NOSLiT. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas VIII A yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Intrumen yang digunakan yaitu instrumen NOSLiT yang terdiri dari 35 soal pilihan ganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hanya ada 5 siswa yang memperoleh nilai presentase ≥ 50% sedangkan 25 siswa memperoleh nilai presentase 50%. Sedangkan nilai presentase pada setiap indikator hanya pada indikator Rules of Scientific Evidence yang memiliki nilai presentase ≥ 50% yaitu sebesar 51%, sedangkan pada indikator lain nilai presentase yang diperoleh yaitu 50%. Tingkat kemampuan literasi sains siswa jika dilihat dari nilai rata-rata siswa termasuk dalam kriteria rendah. Jika dijabarkan hanya ada 5 siswa yang memiliki tingkat kemampuan literasi sains tinggi, sedangkan 25 siswa lainnya memiliki literasi sains rendah.

Abstract

This research aims to validate the feasibility of VLog media with a science-edutaiment approach. Thisdevelopment research uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, andEvaluation). This research was conducted at Bangkalan Public High School 5, a class VII student populationin the Solar System material. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, with a sample of one classVII G. The results showed that the developed profuk could be declared suitable for use with a percentageof media feasibility of 78.6%, feasibility of 92% and an average of 85.3% with very valid category. Based onthese results it can be stated that VLog media is feasible to use

Abstract

Multi-representation ability is one of the important skills to be developed. One of them is because it can play a role in helping students master the material being taught. In science subjects, one of the materials that uses quite diverse forms of representation is simple planes. This shows that there is a possibility that students' multi-representation abilities will affect students' understanding of the material. In addition, another factor that can influence is the adversity quotient of students. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the students' multi-representation ability on simple plane material in terms of Adversity Quotient Aspects. The research method used is a mixed method with a sequential explanatory design. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII G UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Bangkalan with a total of 30 students. The research instrument used was a multi-representation ability test and interview guidelines. The results of this study are the high category of multi-representation abilities consisting of 4 students, the medium category consisting of 22 students, and the low category consisting of 4 students with an average test score of 58.33. The results of the interview show that students' multi-representation abilities and understanding of simple plane materials support and influence each other. Students with multi-representation abilities and good understanding of the material can easily understand the questions given and can also give correct answers, thus obtaining high test scores. owever, the adversity quotient is not always directly proportional to student test results.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the results of a preliminary study on the development of ethnoscience-based science learning media in the form of perceptions about the original science of the community regarding the process of making rengginang lorjuk processed from Talang Siring sea into scientific science. This research is based on the still limited reconstruction of original science that develops in society into scientific science that can be studied and used as a source of learning independently. This research is crucial to do, considering that no one has comprehensively analyzed this topic. The subject in this study was one of the residents of the Talang Siring coastal area who had a home business in the form of rengginang lorjuk production. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. The data in this study were obtained from the results of (1) interviews; (2) Observation; and (3) Documentation. The research data obtained was then analyzed in several stages, namely data reduction, data display, and concluding/verification. Based on the results of scientific studies, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between indigenous knowledge (Indigenous Knowledge) and scientific knowledge (Scientific Knowledge).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need for the development of an ethnoscience-based educative magazine on the topic of petis lorjuk Madura. The results of the scientific reconstruction can be packaged in natural science teaching materials in the form of educative magazines. This research is qualitative descriptive research, using interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. The stages of the research started with preparation, making research instruments, implementation, and completion. The results of this study are the community's indigenous knowledge about making petis lorjuk with STEAM reviews. The results of this study found reinforcement and misconceptions where there is a correlation between the ethnoscience study of petis lorjuk and natural science material. The results of the ethnoscience study that have been obtained can be used as science teaching materials contextually and can review further related misconceptions of knowledge so that learning is more meaningful and sensitive to the surrounding environment.

Abstract

One of exciting learning media is magazine in which students prefer to read this rather than books since magazine contains of various colorful images and appropriate information. Magazine can be developed by integrating with science learning approach in order that students can comprehend the concepts easier. This study aims at developing science magazine which is integrated with contextual teaching and learning approach according to the study findings in Talang Siring. The research included in a research and development study, using Borg and Gall model. The research was conducted on October to November 2022, which is located in Talang Siring Pamekasan, Indonesia by identifying ecosystem of beach and mangrove. Furthermore, the observation findings were arranged systematically in developing science magazine. Science magazine was evaluated by experts in concept and learning media. Findings indicated that the science magazine is valid with media validity score 93.5 and content validity score 91.6. Therefore, it is appropriate to implemented in science learning. Therefore, it can be concluded that science magazine is able to be used as learning media in science learning process

Abstract

Integrated science learning in ethnoscience is very important because students can know the concrete form of local culture by constructing indigenous knowledge of the community in the process of making shrimp paste into scientific knowledge which is implemented through learning media in the form of e-modules. The purpose of this study was to produce an e-module and determine the level of validity, and student readability to an integrated science-based e-module based on ethnoscience using a flipbook with the theme of rebon shrimp paste. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE development model. The population in this study were all students of class VIII MTsN 2 Sumenep with a sample of class VIII-B. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were validation sheets of media experts, material experts, science teachers, and questionnaires student readability. The results showed that: 1) The results of the media aspect validity were 88.74% and the reliability value was 95.71% with very valid and very reliable categories. The value of the validity of the material aspect is 86.11% and the reliability value is 89.66% with a very valid and very reliable category. 2) Students' readability scores a percentage value of 88.18% with a very good category.

Abstract

Siswa mendapatkan hasil belajar yang rendah pada materi ekologi dan keanekaragaman hayati karena media pembelajaran yang digunakan tidak sesuai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa serta respons siswa terhadap multimedia interaktif berbasis genially konteks kerang pisau. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian R&D dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini mencakup analisis kevalidan, pemahaman konsep, dan respons siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi, soal tes pemahaman konsep siswa serta angket respons siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Hasil validitas rata-rata pada aspek media memperoleh skor sebesar 87,24% dengan kategori sangat valid dan aspek materi memperoleh skor sebesar 89,58% dengan kategori sangat valid (2) Hasil peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa yang dihitung melalui perhitungan N-Gain memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 0,40 dengan kategori sedang (3) Hasil rata-rata pada respons siswa terhadap multimedia interaktif berbasis genially konteks kerang pisau pada uji coba perorangan, kelompok kecil, dan kelompok besar secara berurutan yaitu 98,68%, 94,17%, dan 80,99% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif berbasis genially konteks kerang pisau layak untuk dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran serta dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa.
