Abstract

Community service activities are one form of community participation in maintaining and improving the quality of the environment at the Neighborhood Association (RT) level. This study aims to analyze the level of community participation in community service activities and its impact on the development of a clean and healthy environment. The method used is a descriptive approach with data collection through observation, interviews, and surveys to RT residents involved in community service activities. The results showed that active community participation plays a significant role in improving environmental cleanliness and health, such as reduced waste volume, maintained sewer cleanliness, and decreased risk of disease spread. However, there are obstacles in participation that are influenced by internal factors, such as low environmental awareness and busyness of residents, as well as external factors such as lack of supporting facilities. Therefore, strategies to increase community participation are needed, including education on the importance of environmental cleanliness, provision of adequate facilities, and more flexible timing of activities. The conclusion of this study is that community participation in community service is a key element in realizing a clean and healthy RT environment, and efforts to increase participation need to be carried out on an ongoing basis.

Abstract

Abstract: Diabetes mellitus has become an increasingly serious health problem, with the incidence rate continuing to increase significantly. The results of a preliminary study conducted by researchers in May 2023 on 10 patients with type II diabetes mellitus (DM type II) who were undergoing treatment at Prima Hospital showed significant findings. Of the 10 patients involved in the study, 8 reported frequent difficulty sleeping at night and feeling tired during the day. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between sleep quality and blood glucose in patients with type II diabetes mellitus. The research design used in this study was cross sectional. The research was conducted in July 2023 at Prima Hospital. The population was all type II DM patients who were recorded as many as 31 people from July to August 2023, with details of the number of type II DM patients who visited the poly in July to August 2023, totaling 31 people as well as the research sample.  The sampling technique used total sampling. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate. The results showed there was a relationship between sleep quality (p value: 0.003) with blood glucose levels. It is recommended that the hospital can improve services, especially in the field of nursing care for type II DM patients.Keywords: Diabetes, Blood Glucose Levels, Sleep Quality.

Abstract

Today, AI is becoming integrated into more and more sectors of human activity, providing new approaches to a number of traditional problems, and improving multiple aspects of business and industrial processes, decision-making, and customer interactions. This paper explores the applications of AI across five key sectors: health care, petroleum, fraud detection, cybersecurity, and conversational designing. Using AI in healthcare, diagnostics and treatment have been transformed together with improvement of patients’ care, early disease identification and better clinical outcomes. AI is applied in enhancement of exploration, production and refinery of petroleum products in the industry while enhancing sustainability. In fraud detection, AI systems thus offer capability to analyze large datasets in real time to reduce and prevent frauds in banking and insurance industries as well as e-commerce businesses. AI in cybersecurity strengthens threat identification, supports automatic management of preventive measures, and offers risk prognosis, with improved protection measures against cyber threats. And, lastly, conversational AI is emerging in the shape of technologies such as Chatgpt that help enhance customer experience and generate content. However, the increasing number of users of artificial intelligence technologies has a number of problems related to advisor ethics, data protection, system openness, and the dynamic nature of threats. While AI technologies mature, their adoption in these industries raises important questions about ethics, security and legal requirements with a view of mainstream proper and democratic development of these technologies. Raising the question of how to advance AI in the face of its problems, the future of AI remains in the effectiveness of using it as a tool for improving technology’s capabilities and for providing solutions which will make the technology more effective, secure, and more accessible in a number of years.

Abstract

Abstract The aim of the research is to describe the surnames formation in the manga Haikyu!! which will be reviewed in terms of the meaning of each kanji that forms it. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research method. The research object is the surnames of the 10 members of the Karasuno High School volleyball club who appear in the manga entitled "Haikyu!!" by Haruichi Furudate. The result of the research is that the 10 character surnames that appear as members of the Karasuno High School volleyball club can be classified into 2 types of name formation, namely 1. Based on the geographical location of where the person lives, there are 6 names of people; and 2. Based on the character of the person, there are 4 names of people. However, because the amount of data in this study was very limited, names formed from the person's occupation were not found. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out more in-depth research with a larger amount of data in order to obtain more comprehensive results. Keyword : Surname, Character, Manga, Haikyu!!, Formations Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tentang pembentukan nama keluarga karakter dalam manga Haikyu!! yang akan ditinjau dari segi makna setiap kanji pembentuknya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Objek penelitian adalah nama marga 10 anggota klub voli SMA Karasuno yang muncul dalam manga berjudul “Haikyu!!” karya Haruichi Furudate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nama marga 10 karakter yang muncul sebagai anggota klub voli SMA Karasuno, dapat diklasifikasikan ke dalam 2 jenis pembentukan nama, yakni 1. Berdasarkan letak geografis tempat tinggal orangnya yang berjumlah 6 nama orang; dan 2. Berdasarkan karakter orangnya yang mana berjumlah 4 nama orang. Akan tetapi, dikarenakan jumlah data pada penelitian ini sangat terbatas, nama yang terbentuk dari pekerjaan orangnya tidak ditemukan. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih mendalam dengan jumlah data yang lebih banyak agar mendapatkan hasil yang lebih komprehensif..Kata kunci : Nama marga, Karakter, Manga, Haikyu!!, Pembentukan

Abstract

Climate change is a concern for all countries in the world. UNESCO is taking part in efforts to increase awareness regarding climate change, one of which is by creating the Greening Education Partnership program. Climate Change Education (CCE) is an effort in the education sector to increase students' awareness of climate change. This article attempts to analyze publication trends regarding CCE and explore other opportunities for further research on the topic of CCE. The method used is the systematic literature review (SLR) method and data analysis using bibliometrics. The data used in this research are documents published by journals on the Scopus database published in 2013-2022. In 2013-2022, 462 documents can be searched in the Scopus database with the keyword ‘climate change education’. The analysis results show that discussions about CCE related to curriculum, learning, and students have been widely studied and published. However, there is no visible academic interaction between the authors. These conditions can be the basis that CCE needs to be implemented thoughtfully to increase awareness of environmental change. Apart from that, its implementation also requires collaborative roles from each sector so that CCE implementation can be carried out optimally. There needs to be a policy to encourage implementation by integrating CCE and the curriculum. Schools and universities encourage teachers and lecturers to deliver CCE in learning by including specific topics that can be related.

Abstract

Manga interpretation based on ateji classification in Shounen magazine is a linguistic overview of ateji, which is a case of a letter not following the rules of reading or meaning. This article attempted to explain the ateji classification of manga in the 30th issue of Shounen magazine published in 2024. Data was from manga sources with various genres were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques, with the classification of ateji and ruby in terms of perspectives. The results of the analysis indicated that the classification of ateji in this study are divided into the following classifications: (i) ruby of subjective understanding into an expression of objective understanding with 40 data; (ii) ruby of objective understanding into an expression of subjective understanding with 12 data; (iii) interrelated ateji with a total of 8 data; and (iv) ateji involving various perspectives with 9 data. Abstract

The integration of epistemological theories into educational management has received limited scholarly attention, despite its potential to enhance the effectiveness and responsiveness of educational leadership, curriculum design, and policy-making. This study aims to systematically identify, analyze, and synthesize relevant literature on how key epistemological theories—namely constructivism, empiricism, rationalism, and pragmatism—are applied in the context of educational management. Using a qualitative Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, 40 peer-reviewed articles published between 2013 and 2023 were selected through a rigorous search in databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC, and ScienceDirect. The analysis was conducted using Braun and Clarke’s thematic analysis framework to extract dominant themes, trends, challenges, and conceptual implications. The findings show that epistemological integration influences strategic planning, teaching evaluation, institutional governance, and leadership development. Constructivist approaches foster participatory and reflective management practices; empiricism supports evidence-based decisions; rationalism emphasizes systematic reasoning; and pragmatism promotes contextual and flexible policy-making. However, institutional challenges such as epistemological illiteracy among decision-makers and the lack of cross-disciplinary dialogue limit broader implementation. This study offers a theoretical foundation and practical recommendations to embed epistemology into educational management, while also highlighting the need for further empirical research to operationalize these frameworks in diverse educational contexts.

Abstract

Background: The prevalence of diabetes mellitus continues to rise worldwide, including in Indonesia. Cases increased from 200 million in 1990 to 830 million in 2022. Increase public awareness about diabetes mellitus and how to prevent it through healthy lifestyle education and diabetes exercises. This is part of preventive promotive efforts. Diabetes exercise is included in low impact aerobics, the benefits of this exercise can help control blood sugar levels, reduce stress and anxiety, increase stamina, and help maintain weight. Objective: Evaluate and measure the level of knowledge of the community about Diabetes Mellitus disease and healthy lifestyle, as well as blood sugar levels before and after being given education and diabetes gymnastic. Methods: This empowerment uses pre-test and post-test measurements for knowledge levels and blood sugar levels. The sample was people with an age range of 20-80 years. Data analysis involved comparing pre- and post-empowerment scores, using statistical methods to determine program effectiveness. Results: There was an increase in the knowledge of the Nambo Village community related to Diabetes Mellitus and a healthy lifestyle, with a mean pre-test (26.52) and mean post-test (67.39) and a decrease in blood sugar levels with a mean pre (126.17) and mean post (121.07) after being given counseling and diabetic gymnastics.

Abstract

Career planning is an important aspect in students' lives, especially in secondary education. One approach that can be used to help students plan their careers is Trait and Factor counseling. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Trait and Factor counseling approach in helping MAN 1 Surakarta students plan their careers. The method used in this study is qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation which were then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the Trait and Factor approach was able to increase students' awareness of their interests, talents, and existing job opportunities.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter sudah masuk ke dalam kurikulum dan diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Namun, masih ada satuan pendidikan yang menerapkan pendidikan karakter, tidak melakukan evaluasi implementasi pendidikan karakter itu sendiri. Evaluasi merupakan salah satu rangkaian penting dalam sebuah program. Maka dari itu, dilakukannya evaluasi pada pendidikan karakter di satuan pendidikan sangatlah penting. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi pendidikan karakter di TK Pelita Insan Madani. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara kepada 1 orang Kepala Sekolah dan 6 orang guru di TK Pelita Insan Madani, observasi non-partisipatif dan dokumentasi. Evaluasi yang dilakukan terhadap implementasi pendidikan karakter di TK Pelita Insan Madani dilakukan dengan model evaluasi CIPP. Evaluasi melalui beberapa tahap yaitu evaluasi konteks, evaluasi input, evaluasi proses dan evaluasi produk. Evaluasi konteks mencakup profil sekolah dan analisis kebutuhan, evaluasi input mencakup strategi dan perencanaan, evaluasi proses mencakup berbagai kegiatan pembelajaran, dan evaluasi produk mencakup nilai-nilai karakter yang dimiliki siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara context, input, process dan product implementasi pendidikan karakter di TK Pelita Insan Madani berada pada kategori cukup baik.
