Abstract

Stunting is a significant public health issue affecting children under five years old, leading to long-term consequences on growth and development. The method used in this study is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Research conducted systematically by following the rules with the flow of literature review to avoid subjective misunderstandings from researchers. The data used in the study are sourced from national and international scientific publication databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar and Science Direct. The search keywords for the article are arranged based on the PICOS Framework, the keywords are "stunting in children 0-5 years", "stunting prevention" and "stunting control strategy". The review identified the effective interventions highlighted include promoting exclusive breastfeeding, improving maternal nutrition, and implementing community-based nutrition programs. Additionally, the role of education and awareness in fostering healthy dietary practices among families was emphasized. The results of the review conducted on 3 national journal articles and 11 international journal articles indicate that strategies for the prevention and control of stunting must include a holistic approach that involves health promotion, nutritional improvement, sanitation enhancement, community empowerment, and the increase of parental self-efficacy. It is hoped that the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia will continue to decline, thereby improving the quality of future human resources to realize a competitive Golden Generation of Indonesia.

Abstract

The increasing incidence of infectious diseases among children highlights the urgent necessity for effective health education programs emphasizing clean and healthy behaviors. This study aims to identify the determinants influencing the effectiveness of health education in preventing infectious diseases in children. A systematic literature review was performed, analyzing 15 peer-reviewed articles retrieved from databases including PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science, encompassing publications from 2019 to 2024. The search strategy employed keywords such as "health education," "infectious disease prevention," and "clean and healthy behavior." Inclusion criteria comprised studies focusing on health education interventions, while exclusion criteria omitted non-peer-reviewed articles and studies irrelevant to the subject matter. The findings revealed that interactive teaching approaches substantially improved children’s comprehension and retention of health-related information. Furthermore, robust parental involvement demonstrated a positive association with the enhancement of children’s health behaviors. The review also underscored the significance of culturally sensitive educational materials and well-trained educators in delivering effective health education. In conclusion, addressing these factors is critical to optimizing the effectiveness of health education programs designed to promote clean and healthy behaviors, thereby contributing to the prevention of infectious diseases and improved health outcomes among children.

Abstract

Tuberkulosis (TB) merupakan penyakit menular yang hingga kini masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat global. Meskipun pengobatan TB dinyatakan berhasil secara klinis, banyak penyintas TB tetap mengalami dampak jangka panjang yang signifikan, baik secara fisik, psikologis, maupun sosial. Salah satu tantangan utama yang dihadapi penyintas TB adalah stigma dari masyarakat yang dapat memperburuk kualitas hidup dan menghambat proses pemulihan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara sistematis dampak stigma masyarakat terhadap kondisi sosial, klinis, dan psikologis penyintas TB serta pengaruhnya terhadap kualitas hidup. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan pendekatan PRISMA. Data dikumpulkan dari empat basis data ilmiah (Google Scholar, PubMed, Semantic Scholar, dan Science Direct) dengan rentang tahun 2020–2025. Dari total 150 artikel yang ditemukan, delapan artikel dipilih setelah melalui proses penyaringan dan penilaian kelayakan. Sintesis data menunjukkan bahwa stigma terhadap TB muncul dalam berbagai bentuk, termasuk pengucilan sosial, diskriminasi, dan hambatan dalam mengakses layanan kesehatan. Stigma berdampak negatif terhadap kepatuhan pasien terhadap pengobatan, menurunkan keberhasilan terapi, serta meningkatkan beban psikologis seperti kecemasan, rasa malu, dan ketakutan. Perempuan dan kelompok dengan pendidikan rendah merupakan pihak yang paling terdampak. Selain itu, tidak tersedianya kebijakan rehabilitasi pasca-TB secara komprehensif memperburuk kondisi penyintas. Penanganan TB harus mencakup pendekatan multidimensi yang melibatkan edukasi masyarakat, dukungan psikososial, serta penguatan kebijakan berbasis bukti guna mengurangi stigma dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup penyintas TB.

Abstract

Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be used to avoid work accidents. Midwives have a considerable risk of contracting the disease because midwives have contact with the body fluids of pregnant/mother who gives birth, such as blood and amniotic fluid. The purpose of this research was to determine the compliance of midwives with the use of personal protective equipment in efforts to prevent post-COVID-19 in the Klinik Mandiri Bidan Setia Palu City. This research employs a type of research with a qualitative approach. The number of informants is five informants. The data was collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The results of this research show that midwives are cheerful and obedient in using personal protective equipment. Midwives have a positive attitude toward using personal protective equipment because PPE is the need of every individual and must be obeyed for the benefit of all. According to Standard Operating Procedure, midwives comply with personal protective equipment. It is recommended that midwives in The Klinik Mandiri Bidan Setia Palu city  always increase awareness of the disease by using complete PPE.

Abstract

Hearing loss is a global health problem that can affect aspects of an individual's life, both physically, psychologically and socially. The prevalence of hearing loss continues to increase, particularly in the adult and elderly population. On the other hand, obesity is also a significant public health problem with increasing prevalence in various countries, including Indonesia. Obesity not only affects the cardiovascular system and metabolism, but also has the potential to affect sensory organs, including hearing. This study aims to determine whether there is an association between obesity and hearing loss. This study was conducted in the form of a literature review using the Prisma method using three databases, namely Google Scholar, PubMed, Sciencedirect. The literature to be used must be in English and/or Indonesian, within the last 10 years (2014), and fully accessible. Based on the results of 10 studies, it was found that obesity may increase the risk of hearing loss. In conclusion, obesity is associated with an increased risk of hearing loss. In addition, comorbidities caused by obesity play an important role in the mechanism of hearing loss.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran aparat desa dalam penanggulangan bencana banjir dan tsunami di Desa Lompio, Kabupaten Donggala, Sulawesi Tengah. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan metode studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) yang melibatkan aparat desa, tokoh masyarakat, relawan, serta warga terdampak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aparat desa berperan penting dalam enam aspek utama: pengetahuan dan pengalaman, kesiapsiagaan komunitas, dukungan pemerintah, penyaluran bantuan, sistem peringatan dini, dan penanganan pascabencana. Meskipun terdapat kemajuan, seperti pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam sistem peringatan dini dan terbentuknya komunitas penanggulangan bencana, pelatihan kebencanaan masih terbatas pada sosialisasi bersifat informatif. Konflik sosial juga sempat muncul akibat ketimpangan distribusi bantuan. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan pelatihan praktis yang berkelanjutan, mekanisme distribusi bantuan yang adil, serta sosialisasi rutin untuk membangun budaya siaga bencana yang kuat di tingkat desa.

Abstract

Sulawesi Tengah merupakan wilayah di Indonesia yang memiliki risiko tinggi terhadap bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami akibat keberadaan sesar aktif. Bencana ini menjadi ancaman serius bagi masyarakat, terutama di daerah pesisir. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan manajemen bencana sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat dalam menghadapi situasi darurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh edukasi manajemen bencana terhadap kesiapsiagaan masyarakat di Desa Lompio, Kecamatan Tompe. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain pra-eksperimen dengan satu kelompok, yang meliputi pra uji sebelum dan pasca uji setelah pelaksanaan pendidikan manajemen bencana. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2025 dengan melibatkan 30 responden yang diambil menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara pendidikan manajemen bencana dan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat. Dengan demikian hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak. Kesimpulannya, edukasi manajemen bencana berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan tindakan dan sikap kesiapsiagaan masyarakat pesisir pantai di Desa Lompio. Saran bagi Puskesmas dan tenaga kesehatan setempat adalah untuk terus mensosialisasikan manajemen bencana guna meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pentingnya kesiapsiagaan.

Abstract

Masalah rendahnya kemandirian ekonomi penenun Donggala, yang dipengaruhi oleh keterbatasan manajemen usaha, alat produksi, dan pemasaran menjadi permasalahan pada kelompok penenun sarung Donggala di Desa Mekar Baru. Kondisi ini menyebabkan rendahnya daya saing produk tenun sarung Donggala dan berpotensi mengancam keberlanjutan warisan budaya. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah mengembangkan kelompok masyarakat yang mandiri secara ekonomi dan sosial serta meningkatkan keterampilan mitra dalam berwirausaha melalui penguatan kemampuan teknis dan nonteknis. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup pelatihan teknis (peningkatan produksi) dan nonteknis (manajemen pemasaran dan administrasi) menggunakan metode ceramah dan learning by doing. Keberhasilan program diukur melalui indikator peningkatan hasil produksi, persentase peningkatan keterampilan, dan peningkatan pengetahuan berdasarkan kuesioner pra dan pasca pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan 80% mitra mampu mempraktikkan keterampilan mewarnai menggunakan bahan pewarna alami, kapasitas produksi meningkat 60% setelah penggunaan alat tenun baru, dan 70% pengetahuan mitra meningkat terkait pengolahan benang menggunakan bahan alami, manajemen usaha dan pemasaran, namun hanya 20% mitra yang mampu meningkatkan kemampuan pemasaran online dengan menggunakan platform facebook. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas produksi dan kemandirian ekonomi mitra. Untuk keberlanjutan program, PKM menyediakan modal awal dalam bentuk bahan baku untuk tiga kali produksi kain tenun, sehingga pengrajin dapat terus berproduksi, serta dilakukan pengusulan penetapan Desa Mekar Baru sebagai desa binaan.

Abstract

One of the existing learning approaches is challenge-based learning (CBL) which modified to Meguru, that encourages students to think critically and creatively in solving real problems. The STEM integrated CBL physics learning model based on local wisdom is present as an alternative to overcome these challenges. The main aim of this research is to develop a STEM-integrated physics challenge based learning model oriented to local wisdom towards quality students' creative thinking skills with valid, practical and effective criteria. This research is the Borg and Gall development model that was carried out through expert validation via FGD to obtain suggestions and input in order to revise the model, so that the valid Meguru model was obtained. The experts provide recommendations that the Meguru learning model was suitable for use with improvements (LDP). Validation of learning tools, obtained model implementation sheet with a score of 1.00 (very valid), teaching module with a score of 3.78 (very valid), student activity sheet (LKPD) with a score of 3.94 (very valid), student activity observation sheet with a score of 1 .00 (very valid), and the student response questionnaire was 98.66 (very valid). In the testing phase of the model's effectiveness, students' creative thinking skills were obtained with an average score of 97.50. The score obtained in the very good category shows that the learner's goals were achieved. where the Meguru learning model is effectively used in Physics learning.  The type of research is development research or Research and Development (R&D)

Abstract

In an era of increasingly frequent natural disasters, integrating disaster mitigation into educational frameworks is crucial. This study addresses the need for innovative teaching materials that not only enhance basic physics understanding but also prepare students for challenges in disaster-prone regions. The research aims to develop a basic physics e-module integrated with disaster mitigation. The goal is to improve students' knowledge of physics and disaster preparedness, particularly in areas like Central Sulawesi. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, the study's findings show expert validators gave an average score above 4.00, lecturers rated the course 4.67, and there was an improvement in learning outcomes, with CI values ranging from 6.74 to 8.39 and an effect size (Cohen's d) of 4.17. The research concludes that e-modules can effectively enhance learning quality and disaster preparedness.
