Abstract

This discussion reviews the importance of computer networks in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of organizations, especially in the context of educational institutions such as Vocational High Schools (SMK), this case study was conducted at SMK Negeri 3 Tuban, a school that has been established since 1991. Currently, the network in the school does not cover all rooms and does not have a centralized data center. The problem of different internet connections in each room causes problems in network reporting and management. To overcome this problem, good network design is needed, as well as comprehensive documentation for development and maintenance. Cisco Packet Tracer, as a network simulation software, is an important tool in designing and implementing computer networks. By using Cisco Packet Tracer, users can build complex virtual network topologies, simulate interactions between network devices, and test network configurations without the need for hardware. This study will discuss the process of network simulation with Cisco Packet Tracer, which involves building a network illusion with network components provided by the software.

Abstract

In an educational institution that has computer-based courses, it is mandatory to have a computer laboratory. As is the case with research carried out at the Tuban Institute of Technology and Business which has several study programs so it is mandatory to have a computer laboratory for continuity of learning. which was used as a reference for the author's research in planning how to implement the ITB Tuban online security optimization online system. The author will use the Access Control List (ACL) method for network access control. Organizing data access traffic by system administrators, so that administrators can determine everything that can be accessed or not accessed by users. Simulation and implementation of computer networks at the Tuban Institute of Technology and Business using Cisco Packet Tracker still needs further development. From the Cisco Packet Tracker network configuration that the author created, it is concluded that the Cisco Packet Tracing network can function well and successfully. The function of the Cisco Packet Tracer that researchers understand here is that it can be used to assemble a network or topology that is applied in the real world, such as at the Tuban Institute of Technology and Business. Apart from that, the author can analyze a well-connected network, by looking at latency, if the network has low latency then the results are positive.

Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the user experience of online transportation applications using a user experience questionnaire aimed at the society lifestyle. The study makes reference to the following user evaluations: novelty, attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, and stimulation. This kind of study is known as quantitative research, and it looks at the issue of user experience in relation to society's lifestyle. data gathering through the distribution of questionnaires. Tables and graphs are used to display the descriptive analysis and presentation of the data. The lifestyle variable was positively and significantly impacted by the user experience variable, according to the results. As a result, the proprietor of the online transportation program has the ability to modify its features.

Abstract

Computer network, especially together with information technology, are now considered fundamental in all fields. A company’s information technology infrastructure is a strategic resource that must be handled effectively. Information technology infrastructure provides continuous processing and flow of information throughout the organization. A computer network that links machines is called a local area network over short distances among two or more places. To keep the network infrastructure functioning properly network security is very important. Cisco packet tracer is one of the tools used in simulations to setup network security. To build a computer network, procedures related to the network area required. Local Area Network (LAN) is an abbreviation off Local Area Network. LAN consist of several computers connected in a network. In this network, each computer can accsess data from other computers. Additionally, computers can access data from other computers. Apart from that, computers connected to LAN can also run hardware such as printers from other computers, chat with other computer ownerm or play games together. Network simulations on cisco system Local Area Network (LAN) computers using cisco packet treacer is a program for imulatinng network device, the program is used as a learning and training tool.

Abstract

This journal aims to describe the implementation of using Cisco Packet Tracer as a network simulation tool in an educational environment al Tarbiyatul Banin-Banat Montong Vocational High School (SMK) Network simulation is an important method in information technology education, especially in the context of computer network learning This research covers the steps taken in implementing Cisco Packet Tracel at SMK Tarbiyatul Banın-Banat Montong, as well as the benefits that result from using this simulation tool. The research methods include student surveys, as well as classroom observations. The journal is ahead in the use of network simulation technology such as Cisco Packe Tracer in education. As technology continues to evolve, this approach has the potential to continuously improve network leaming and prepare students for the job demands of the digital age. The results showed that the use of Cisco Packet Tracer in network learning at SMK Tarbiyatul Banin-Banat Montong has improved students understanding networking concepts, allowed them to test theories in a safe simulation environment, arid stimulated their interest in pursuing a career in information technology. In addition, the use of this tool also assists teachers in teaching more effectively and efficiently. This article details the practical implementation of Cisco Packet Tracer in an educational environment, illustrates its benefits to students and educators, and provides recommendations for further development in network education at SMK Tarbiyatul Banin-Banat Montong as well as educational institutions in conclusion, the use of Cisco Packet Tracel as a network simulation tool in an educational environment can improve similar the quality of leaming and prepare students for careers in the world of information technology.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Self Efficacy dan Locus Of Control terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Gunung Amal Solution Internasional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan asosiatif. Sedangkan jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada karyawan PT. Gunung Amal Solution Internasional dengan jumlah sampel 45 karyawan. Analisis statistik data yang yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan IMB SPSS Statistic 24. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa variabel Self Efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Locus Of Control juga berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil pengaruh bersamaan antara variabel Self Efficacy dan Locus Of Control berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini bermanfaat bagi perusahaan akan pentingnya self efficacy dan locus of control yang dimiliki oleh karyawan. Dengan self efficacy dan locus of control yang tinggi maka akan dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan, sehingga pada akhirnya akan menguntungkan bagi perusahaan. Kata kunci: Self Efficacy, Locus of Control dan Kinerja Karyawan ABSTRACT This study was conducted to examine the influence of Self-Efficacy and Locus of Control on employee performance at PT. Gunung Amal Solution International. The research method used is quantitative, employing both descriptive and associative approaches. The type of research utilized in this study is survey-based research. The study was conducted on employees of PT. Gunung Amal Solution International with a sample size of 45 employees. The statistical data analysis employed in this study is multiple linear regression analysis, using IBM SPSS Statistics 24. The research findings indicate that the Self-Efficacy variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Similarly, Locus of Control also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The combined influence of the Self-Efficacy and Locus of Control variables positively and significantly impacts employee performance. This study is valuable for the company, highlighting the importance of self-efficacy and locus of control among employees. High levels of self-efficacy and locus of control can enhance employee performance, which ultimately benefits the company. Keywords: Self Efficacy, Locus of Control and Employee performance

Abstract

Lung cancer is a condition where cells grow uncontrollably in the lungs due to carcinogens. Lung cancer is the first cause of death in men and women’s second cause of death. One way to reduce the death rate due to lung cancer is to carry out early detection, that is classification. The process of identifying and grouping objects with the same characteristics or characteristics into several predetermined classes is called classification. Several algorithms widely used in the classification process are Support Vector Machine (SVM) and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN). SVM has advantages, being able to identify hyperplanes separately to maximize the margin between two or more different classes, but it is difficult to use in large data, while KNN can perform large-scale data separation and is resilient to noise in the data. This study aims to build a model using the SVM and KNN algorithms to classify lung cancer. The lung cancer dataset has a total of 309 data, where data is divided using the percentage split method and k-fold cross validation on each algorithm used. The parameters used in evaluating the model are accuracy, precision, and recall. From the research, the highest accuracy, precision, and recall values were obtained in the SVM algorithm with the percentage split method with consecutive values, namely 95.16%, 88%, and 82.5%. This indicates that the SVM algorithm with the percentage split method performs better in classifying lung cancer than other algorithms and methods,

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of scientific-based numeracy literacy teaching materials on students' motivation and higher order thinking abilities. This research is a quantitative research using a quasi-experiment method with a nonequivalent control group design. Sampling used purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were motivational questionnaire sheets and higher order thinking ability tests. The paired sample t-test was used to analyze the data. The findings indicate a significant difference in the average posttest scores between the experimental group and the control group, with a significance value of 0.000<0.005 and a mean difference of 18.06 (66.00 - 47.94) between the two groups. Additionally, the confidence interval for the difference ranged from -36.959 to -30.354. That there is a significant (real) difference between the average motivation score and higher order thinking abilities of students in the experimental class and the control class using of scientific-based numeracy literacy teaching materials. So with these results it can be concluded that the scientific-based numeracy literacy teaching materials has an effect on students' motivation and higher order thinking abilities.

Abstract

AbstractThe social phenomenon of the Padangsidimpuan City punk community is an important fact to discuss, related to the existence and social behavior of the punk community in everyday interactions. It is hoped that the results of the study can contribute to the development of science in particular, as well as society in general regarding the behavior of punk children's community life. The results of the study show that the social fact of the existence of a community of punk children in Padangsidimpuan City is a real thing and exists in society. They have distinctive clothing characteristics, their activities are filled with gatherings and busking and do not have a fixed place so they are closer to wild children. However, they also carried out positive activities, namely volunteering for natural disasters in the city of Padangsidimpuan, one of which was the flash flood disaster that hit the city of Padangsidimpuan. The social behavior of punk children in Padangsidimpuan City is in fact a group of teenagers who dress in unusual ways. Then gather in the market center of Padangsidimpuan City and always play musical instruments made by themselves while singing in front of the evening snack visitors.AbstrakFenomena sosial komunitas anak punk Kota Padangsidimpuan suatu fakta yang penting dibahas, terkait dengan eksistensi dan perilaku sosial komunitas anak punk dalam pergaulan sehari-hari. hasil kajian diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan pada khususnya, maupun pada masyarakat pada umumnya mengenai perilaku kehidupan komunitas anak punk. Hasil kajian diketahui bahwa fakta sosial keberadaan komuntas anak punk di Kota Padangsidimpuan merupakan hal yang nyata dan eksis di dalam masyarakat. Mereka memiliki ciri pakaian yang khas, kegiatan mereka isi dengan kumpul-kumpul dan mengamen dan tidak memiliki tempat yang tetap sehingga lebih dekat kepada anak yang liar. Namun mereka juga melakukan kegiatan yang positif yakni ikut menjadi relawan dalam bencana alam di dalam kota Padangsidimpuan, salah satunya bencana banjir bandang yang menimpa kota Padangsidimpuan. Perilaku sosial anak punk yang ada di Kota Padangsidimpuan pada kenyataannya adalah kumpulan anak remaja yang berpakaian secara tidak biasa modelnya. Kemudian berkumpul di pusat pasar Kota Padangsidimpuan dan selalu memainkan alat musik yang dibuat sendiri sambil bernyanyi di depan pengunjung jajanan malam hari.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Service excellence dan servicescape merupakan dua hal penting yang dapat mempengaruhi kepuasan tamu hotel. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh service excellence dan servicescape terhadap customer satisfaction tamu hotel. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dengan mengambil objek penelitian 96 tamu yang menginap di hotel Villa Lemon Lembang Jawa Barat. Penentuan responden diambil menggunakan metode non probability sampling dengan teknik Accidental sampling. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian deskriptif verifikatif menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa tingkat service excellence sangat tinggi, sedangkan tingkat servicescape dan customer satisfaction tinggi. Pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa service excellence berpengaruh signifikan terhadap customer satisfaction secara parsial dan servicescape berpengaruh signifikan terhadap customer satisfaction secara parsial. Sedangkan secara simultan service excellence dan servicescape berpengaruh terhadap customer satisfaction. Antara variabel service excellence dan servicescape, variabel yang paling dominan mempengaruhi customer satisfaction yaitu service excellence. Manfaat penelitian ini bagi pelaku wisata hotel yaitu dengan menyadari bahwa service excellence dan servicescape sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kepuasan tamu hotel.
