Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of legal culture on business actors' compliance in producing cosmetics that are safe and free from hazardous materials. Legal culture that includes norms, values ​​and traditions in the application of law has an important role in determining the level of business actors' compliance with existing regulations. In the context of the cosmetics industry, compliance with regulations is highly dependent on legal awareness, effective supervision, and strict sanctions for violations. A strong legal culture accompanied by an understanding of business ethics and consistent law enforcement can encourage business actors to prioritize consumer safety. Conversely, a weak or ineffective legal culture tends to reduce the seriousness of business actors in complying with safety standards that can pose a risk to public health. The formulation of the problem obtained from this study is How is business actors' compliance with hazardous cosmetic regulations? ⁠And how is the BPOM regulation for hazardous cosmetics in Indonesia?. Therefore, a supportive legal culture and a strict law enforcement system are very important in creating a safe and sustainable cosmetics industry. This study is expected to provide a deeper understanding of the relationship between legal culture and compliance of cosmetic business actors.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Kabupaten Banyuasin sudah mulai menerapkan kurikulum Merdeka Belajar. Salah satu pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk digunakan oleh sekolah yang menerapkan kurikulum merdeka belajar adalah pembelajaran berbasis STEM. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan pada guru kimia SMA/SMK/MA di Kabupaten Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan untuk mengimplementasikan Pembelajaran STEM pada Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode penyuluhan dan diskusi. Beberapa hasil kerja peserta pengabdian yaitu 1) pembuatan pupuk organik cair menggunakan hasil fermentasi dari sisa/limbah kulit buah dan sayur yang dicampur dengan gula merah dan air dengan perbandingan 1:3:10. 2) pembuatan minyak kelapa murni tanpa pemanasan, yang dilakukan dengan membuat santan dari kelapa dan didiamkan di suhu 30oC selama 24 jam sampai minyak muncul. 3) Pemanfaatan kulit buah naga sebagai bahan tambahan pembuatan sabun padat. 4) pembuatan lilin aromaterapi dengan menambahkan pewarna dan aroma pada lilin cair. 5) Freeze dried buah buahan dan sayuran lokal untuk penyimpanan lebih lama dan menaikkan nilai ekonomis. 6) Pemanfaatan air kelapa menjadi Nata de Coco. 7) Pembuatan agar-agar materi koloid. 8) pembuatan telur asin dengan metode osmosis. Dan 9) Pembuatan Virgin Coconut Oil dengan metode fermentasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media Quiziz untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di UPT SMA TUT WURI HANDAYANI. Latar belakang dari penelitin ini berangkat dari perlunya inovasi dalam evaluasi yang lebih interaktif, menarik, dan dapat mendorong siswa untuk lebih aktif selama proses belajar. Metode yang di terapkan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek yang terdiri dari enam siswa dan seorang guru mata pelajaran. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan media quiziz dapat meningkatkan partisipasi siswa saat evaluasi berlangsung, terlihat dari semangat yang tinggi, respons yang cepat, dan penguasaan materi yang lebih baik. Selain itu, peningkatan hasil belajar dapat dilihat dari nilai evaluasi setelah penerapan Quiziz jika dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. Penggunaan media quizizz juga memberikan kemudahan bagi guru dalam melakukan penilaian dengan lebih cepat, akurat, dan transparan. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan Quiziz terbukti efektif sebagai alat evaluasi dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SMA TUT WURI HANDAYANI

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan unutk melihat bagaimana pembelajaran sosiologi di MAN 1 Makassar menunjukkan kebutuhan akan media pembelajaran yang lebih variatif dan interaktif untuk membantu siswa memahami konsep yang bersifat abstrak. Penelitian ini membahas efektivitas penggunaan Baamboozle sebagai media berbasis permainan kuis dalam meningkatkan minat dan keterlibatan siswa. Baamboozle menawarkan tampilan visual yang jelas, penilaian otomatis, serta aktivitas kelompok yang mampu menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih dinamis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media ini mendorong perhatian siswa, meningkatkan motivasi belajar melalui elemen permainan, serta membantu mereka menghubungkan teori sosiologi dengan fenomena nyata. Selain itu, Baamboozle memberikan fleksibilitas bagi guru dalam menyesuaikan tingkat kesulitan dan variasi soal. Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwa Baamboozle efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran sosiologi, terutama pada siswa yang memiliki ketertarikan tinggi terhadap teknologi digital. Media ini terbukti memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemahaman konsep dan minat belajar siswa.

Abstract

Active student involvement is a fundamental component for establishing successful teaching and learning processes in higher education. Nevertheless, a significant number of university students still exhibit passive behavior during classroom discussions, primarily because they lack the confidence needed to voice their ideas. The use of interactive digital platforms presents a viable alternative to foster a learning atmosphere that is more engaging and participatory. The objective of this research is to evaluate how interactive digital learning via Nearpod affects university students' confidence levels when expressing their academic opinions. A quantitative methodology was utilized, specifically implementing a quasi-experimental approach with a pretest-posttest control group design. The participants comprised students taking the Classroom Action Research course within the Sociology Education Study Program at Universitas Negeri Makassar. Information was gathered utilizing a Likert-scale questionnaire measuring self-confidence, and the results were evaluated using N-Gain, independent sample t-tests, and effect size calculations. The findings demonstrate that the group utilizing Nearpod exhibited a more substantial growth in self-confidence than the traditional control group. Specifically, the experimental group achieved a moderate N-Gain score of 0.63, whereas the control group only reached a low score of 0.19. Furthermore, statistical evaluations indicated a meaningful variance between the two groups (p < 0.05), accompanied by a large effect size of 0.87. These results imply that Nearpod's interactive tools—especially the voice response function—serve as a secure digital space that supports students in progressively developing their courage to communicate academic thoughts.

Abstract

This study focuses on the transformation of Islamic da'wah values into brand loyalty strategies within Islamic educational institutions based on modern pesantren. The main objective is to examine how core da'wah values such as shiddiq (honesty), amanah (responsibility), tabligh (value transmission), and ukhuwah islamiyah (Islamic brotherhood) are internalized into the institutional system and communication strategies of Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Sullamul Hidayah in Probolinggo. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that da'wah values are concretely integrated into managerial and institutional communication practices, fostering emotional and spiritual loyalty among students and parents. This strategy aligns with a value-based marketing approach, in which loyalty is built not only on the technical quality of educational services but also on the alignment of shared values perceived by education consumers. The study contributes to Islamic educational management theory by introducing the concept of da'wah-based brand loyalty. Practically, it implies that Islamic educational institutions should adopt da'wah values as the foundation for their policies and service strategies to build long-term trust and attachment with the community.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to reveal: 1). Teacher planning in implementing the independent curriculum on student learning outcomes in Class IV SDN 09 Sungai Kelambu in the 2023-2024 academic year; 2). Teacher implementation in implementing the independent curriculum on student learning outcomes in class IV SDN 09 Sungai Kelambu in the 2023-2024 academic year; 3). evaluation of the implementation of the independent curriculum on student learning outcomes in class IV SDN 09 Sungai Kelambu in the 2023-2024 academic year This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research type. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that; 1. Teacher planning in implementing the independent curriculum on student learning outcomes in grade IV of SDN 09 Sungai Kelambu in the 2023-2024 academic year, namely the preparation of learning objectives, selection of methods, development of teaching materials, and preparation of teaching modules are carried out systematically and integrated with the Independent Curriculum and the Pancasila student profile. The main focus is the development of student competencies in knowledge, skills, and attitudes through a relevant, contextual, and needs- and interests-oriented approach, ensuring active involvement and effective learning. 2. Teacher implementation in implementing the independent curriculum on student learning outcomes in grade IV of SDN 09 Sungai Kelambu in the 2023-2024 academic year, namely creativity and innovation in teaching, a student-centered approach, use of technology, learning media and character building are effectively implemented. The learning process involves creative methods, consistent technology, and moral values, with teachers acting as facilitators, ensuring students are actively involved and important values ​​are integrated into everyday life. 3. Evaluation of the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum on Student Learning Outcomes in Class IV of SDN 09 Sungai Kelambu in the 2023-2024 Academic Year, namely student learning outcomes are evaluated comprehensively through formative and summative methods, with feedback used to improve teaching effectiveness. In addition, regular communication between teachers and parents, both in person and online, ensures involvement and support in the educational process.
