Abstract

Energi  listrik  merupakan  kebutuhan  pokok  yang  sangat  penting  bagi  kehidupan  manusia,  dimana  semua  aktifitas manusia  berhubungan  dengan  energi  listrik.  Listrik sebagai sumber kehidupan masyarakat  selain  berfungsi  sebagai  penerangan,  juga  berfungsi  sebagai  energi  dalam  mengembangkan  segala  usaha  dan aktifitas sehari-hari. Pada beberapa daerah di Indonesia masih ada kawasan yang belum mendapatkan energi listrik seperti di Kelurahan Batu Gadang Kecamatan Lubuk Kilangan Kota Padang khususnya pada kawasan Ngalau Baribuik. Melihat kondisi di sekitar Ngalau Baribuik, masih ada potensi untuk membangun PLTMH sekitar 5KW. Artikel ini membahas mengenai pembangunan PLTMH yang dimulai dari studi kelayakan, detail engineering design, pembuatan turbin, pengerjaan sipil dan elektrikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembangunan system kelistrikan di Ngalau Baribuik dengan menerapkan metoda ilmiah

Abstract

Perkampungan Ngalau Bribuik terletak di kelurahan Batu Gadang Kecamatan Lubuk Kilangan Kota Padang. Pada daerah ini terdapat lebih dari 24 kepala keluarga yang sampai saat ini masih belum menikmati energi listrik dari PLN. Upaya memenuhi kebutuhan terhadap energi listrik, masyarakat memanfaatkan Pembangkit Listrik Mikro Hidro dengan kapasitas terpasang 10 Kw. Namun kapasitas ini masih belum bisa memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat sehingga banyak keluarga yang belum menikmati energy listrik. Dari hasil survey yang dilakukan, instalasi listrik terpasang di rumah warga juga masih bisa dikatakan belum layak pakai. Menyikapi hal tersebut, upaya yang dilakukan oleh Tim pengabdi adalah dengan melakukan kajian secara menyeluruh terhadap instalasi terpasang di rumah warga untuk melihat kelayakannya. Berdasarkan hasil kajian yang dilakukan, tim pengabdi melakukan perbaikan dan penggantian komponen instalasi listrik serta penataan ulang kembali instalasi yang ada di rumah warga. Selain dari itu, tim pengabdi juga melakukan pemasangan instalasi baru pada beberapa rumah warga di Perkampungan Ngalau Baribuik.

Abstract

This paper recounts design and development the realtime and wireless monitoring systems to observed the characteristics and performanced of the solar photovoltaic (pv) energy generation. The monitoring systems designed used the Raspberry Pi 3 as the data processing center, the voltage divider as the voltage sensor, ACS712 as the current sensor, DHT as the temperature sensor, and BH1750 as the solar irradiation sensor. The measurements of the pv generation characteristics are carried out all the time in real time. The monitoring systems developed has calibrated with standard measuring instruments. The measurement data has processed, sent and stored in the database via the internet. The MySQL database with single user interface using the Web-based programming language has employed. This research has proven that the system designed to functioning properly and correctly to achieve the objectived. The novelty of these project are the pv wireless monitoring systems techniques with the simple device resources, capable of showing maximum performanced.

Abstract

Sektor energi sangat berpengaruh terhadap aktifitas masyarakat seperti kegiatan rumah tangga, sosial budaya, industri, perdangan, dll. Pada tahun 2021, meskipun rasio elektrifikasi Provinsi Sumatera Barat sudah mencapai 98.81%, penyediaan energi listrik tetap menjadi salah satu prioritas pembangunan. Sebenarnya Indonesia memiliki potensi cadangan energi baru terbarukan yang besar seperti radiasi matahari, energi angin, energi air, biomassa, dll. Namun pengembangan teknologi pembangkit energi baru terbarukan belum maksimal karena tingginya biaya investasi dan perawatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan rancang bangun sebuah pembangkit listrik tenaga piko hidro. Berdasarkan hasil analisis karakteristik aliran dan kondisi lapangan jenis turbin air yang sesuai untuk head dan debit yang rendah adalah turbin aliran silang (cross flow). Pembangkit Listrik Piko Hidro ini diharapkan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan energi bagi beberapa kepala keluarga sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktifitas kerja, tingkat pendapatan dan kesehjateraan warga pada daerah pedalaman.

Abstract

The development of the DIVA Learning Management System learning model is an increase in student understanding based on problems because learning algorithms and programming is indicated to be low in students' understanding that is abstract in the subjects of algorithms and programming. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to develop a DIVA Learning Management System model that has effectiveness. The methodology used is quasi experimental design in the form of nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. This study found the DIVA Learning Management System learning model with the syntax: a) Display; b) Information Search; c) Virtual Problem Solving; and d) Appraisal, and products from: (1) DIVA learning management system learning model (2) learning tools; (3) modules; and (4) learning media. Analysis of research data shows the learning model DIVA Learning Management System In the effectiveness test of media use for lecturers 92.3% is effectively used and for student learning outcomes with pre-test and post-test test scores can be seen from the achievement score of each respondent. The gain score results indicate the achievement score is at the level of 0.486 with the interpretation that overall an increase in scores after being given treatment to respondents. Based on the results of the data analysis above, it can be concluded that the model developed meets the feasibility to be used.

Abstract

Makalah ini membahas tentang rancang bangun buck converter yang digunakan untuk pengisian baterei dengan menerapkan metode pengisian tegangan konstan pada system PLTS. Metode kendali PID digunakan untuk menjaga agar tegangan keluaran dari buck converter tetap stabil. Dari hasil pengujian, tegangan keluaran buck converter stabil pada nilai 14,5 Volt dengan nilai Kp = 1.95, Ki = 3,9 dan Kd = 0,000243. Penalaan PID menggunakan metode Ziegler-Nichols didapatkan nilai overshoot tegangan sebesar 0V, nilai rise time 0.01s dan settling time 0.03s. Pengujian dilakukan pada baterai 12 V/1,2 Ah dengan kondisi tegangan awal 11,5 Volt dapat diisi dalam waktu sekitar 20 menit.

Abstract

Motor induksi satu-fasa digunakan dalam banyak aplikasi rumah tangga dan industri. Namun, ada tantangan tersendiri dalam mengoperasikan motor induksi satu-fasa. Salah satu persoalan yang muncul adalah besarnya arus stator pada saat pengasutan. Dalam artikel ini, metode pengasutan motor induksi satu-fasa yang menggunakan metode tahanan biner disajikan. Selain itu, karakteristik motor induksi seperti tegangan, arus, kecepatan, dan suhu dipantau melalui antarmuka visual studio. Beberapa komponen penting digunakan dalam sistem ini, seperti sensor tegangan ZMPT101B, sensor suhu DS18B20, sensor kecepatan FC-33, sensor arus ACS712, bluetooth HC-05, lima relay, dan empat resistor 15 Ω. Hasil eksperimen yang menunjukkan bahwa metode tahanan biner efektif dalam mengurangi arus asut motor induksi. Suatu antarmuka yang dikembangkan dapat memantau karakteristik motor induksi.

Abstract

The 1-phase controlled full-wave rectifier is one of the main components in power electronics technology that functions to convert alternating voltage (AC) into direct voltage (DC). This circuit is used in various applications, such as battery charging systems and DC motors in industry. Controlled rectifiers use a Silicon Controlled Rectifier (SCR). The use of SCRs in controlled rectifiers provides the advantage of more precise current control. The controlled rectifier uses a Silicon Controlled Rectifier (SCR), which is controlled with a microcontroller through an SCR driver. The SCR driver serves for isolation so that the converter circuit does not damage the microcontroller due to current surges. This circuit also requires a zero crossing detector to determine the intersection of point 0 on the AC wave. This research aims to design and build a 1-phase full wave rectifier system using SCR as the main controlling component. With a deep understanding of SCR characteristics, it is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of modern power supply technology that is more efficient and can be controlled with precision.

Abstract

This research proposes an enhanced maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm that integrates the variable step size (VSS) method to significantly improve power extraction from photovoltaic (PV) systems. The primary objective is to optimize performance under dynamic environmental conditions. Through comprehensive experimental studies, the proposed algorithm’s performance was evaluated and directly compared against conventional incremental conductance (INC) and perturb and observe (P&O) algorithms. The results demonstrate a substantial increase in power generation, with the proposed algorithm delivering 18.79% more power compared to INC and 39.67% more power than P&O. These findings underscore the efficacy of the developed algorithm at improving the efficiency and robustness of PV power generation, particularly in variable operating environments.

Abstract

Industrial Field Practice (PLI) is essential in vocational education, bridging academic learning with real-world industry experience. However, evaluating its effectiveness often lacks standardized and validated instruments, particularly in Informatics Engineering programs. This study aims to develop and validate an evaluation instrument for the PLI Program at Universitas Putra Indonesia YPTK Padang. The instrument was constructed using Stake’s Countenance Evaluation Model, which includes three components: antecedents, transactions, and outcomes. A total of 80 items were initially developed through literature review and expert consultation. Content validation was conducted using the Aiken’s V formula, involving three experts in vocational education evaluation. Items with V 0.8 were considered valid. Of the 80 items developed, 70 met the content validity criteria and were deemed valid, while 10 required revision based on expert feedback. Valid items measured aspects such as student readiness, supervision quality, task relevance, use of technology, work ethics, technical skills, soft skills, and final project outcomes. Each item was aligned with industrial expectations and educational standards. The results demonstrate that the developed instrument has strong content validity and provides a comprehensive framework for evaluating PLI implementation. It supports quality assurance and continuous improvement in vocational education. The instrument can be adapted by other institutions for similar programs in different fields.
