Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning untuk Meningkatkan Keaktifan Dan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Berbantuan Teknologi Pada Materi Sel Kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Bulukumba”. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (class room action research) atau PTK. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Bulukumba yang dimulai pada bulan Juni 2023 dan berakhir pada bulan Agustus 2023. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI 6 SMA Negeri 1 Bulukumba semester 1 tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 yang berjumlah 34 orang. Sedangkan untuk objek penelitian adalah keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI 6 melalui penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan berbantuan teknologi. Hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, pada siklus I hasil belajar yang diperoleh kelas XI 6 sebesar 94% yang tuntas dan 6% yang belum tuntas kemudian pada siklus II persentase hasil belajar peserta didik yang masuk kategori tuntas sebesar 97% dan 3% peserta didik masuk kategori tidak tuntas. Hal ini menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 3%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning untuk Meningkatkan Keaktifan dan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Berbantuan Teknologi dikatakan berhasil.

Abstract

The ability to think at a high level is essential for students to master because this ability encourages students' motivation to look at every problem critically. Learning motivation and emotional intelligence are several factors that determine how students have the desire or drive to achieve their goals. This study is ex post facto research to examine the relationship between learning motivation and emotional intelligence with higher-order thinking skills. The population in this study were all students of grade XI IPA at public senior high schools in the Majene district of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research samples 268 students by employing a simple random sampling technique with representatives of one school for each sub-district in Majene Regency. The research instruments were a questionnaire on learning motivation and emotional intelligence and a test of higher-order thinking skills on Biology learning material. The data obtained in this research was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics (multiple and simple regression analysis) with the help of the SPSS program. Based on the hypothesis testing, the research results reveal that learning motivation and emotional intelligence have a very strong and significant relationship to higher-order thinking skills. Further research is needed to achieve broader goals, increase learning motivation and increase students' positive character values.Abstrak. Kemampuan berpikir tingkat  tinggi sangat penting untuk di kuasai oleh peserta didik, karena kemampuan tersebut mendorong motivasi peserta didik untuk memandang setiap permasalahan dengan kritis. Motivasi belajar dan kecerdasan emosional merupakan beberapa faktor yang menjadi penentu bagaimana peserta didik memiliki keinginan atau dorongan dalam menggapai cita-citanya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex post facto yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi belajar dan kecerdasan emosional dengan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Majene tahun  ajaran 2023/2024. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil sebanyak 268 dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan perwakilan satu sekolah untuk masing-masing kecamatan yang ada di Kabupaten Majene. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah angket motivasi belajar dan kecerdasan emosional dan tes keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi pada materi biologi. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini di analisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, dan inferensial (analisis regresi ganda dan sederhana) dengan bantuan program SPSS. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar dan kecerdasan emosional memiliki hubungan yang sangat kuat dan signifikan terhadap keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mencapai tujuan yang lebih luas meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan meningkatkan nilai karakter positif siswa.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Ex-post facto dengan metode survey yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis motivasi belajar, kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan literasi sains serta hasil belajar peserta didik SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng. Sampel penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng yang berjumlah 49 orang yang dipilih menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket motivasi belajar dengan 32 butir pernyataan, tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dengan 8 nomor soal essay, tes kemampuan literasi sains dengan 6 nomor soal essay dan tes hasil belajar dengan 20 nomor soal pilihan ganda. Analisis data penelitian berupa analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng memiliki motivasi belajar pada kategori sedang, kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada kategori sedang, literasi sains pada kategori sedang dan hasil belajar kognitif pada kategori sedang. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar, kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Motivasi Belajar, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah, Kemampuan Literasi Sains, Hasil Belajar

This study aims to determine the level of problem-solving ability of high school students in Soppeng Regency. The type of research used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The study population includes all public schools in Soppeng Regency, with a sampling technique using Cluster Random Sampling. The total sample taken was 134 students. The instrument used was a problem-solving ability test that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data collection technique was carried out by providing test instruments to students/respondents who had been appointed. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative descriptive analysis methods. The results showed that the average score of students' problem-solving ability was 74.41, which was included in the high category. Frequency distribution data also indicated that 84% of students were in the high category. Abstract

This research is an innovation in biology learning that aims to develop student worksheets based on science process skills, especially on the Human Digestive System material for class XI Senior High School. This research is a type of research and development (R&D) that uses the ADDIE model ((Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, & Evaluate). The products that have been developed are assessed by two expert validators and then practical trials are carried out based on the responses of teachers and students The implementation of the Student Worksheet that has been developed was carried out by means of a limited trial at SMAN 3 Makassar, SMAN 11 Makassar and SMAN 16 Makassar. The data collection technique was carried out through filling out questionnaires for teacher and student responses. The results showed that the student worksheets based on science process skills that have been developed from the validation test results are in the valid category and the practicality test results from the teacher's responses are in the practical category and the student responses are in the very practical category. Therefore research on developing student worksheets based on science process skills this is innovation in Biology learning. The conclusion of this research is that the student worksheets based on high school science process skills that have been developed are declared valid and very practical, and are innovations in Biology learning. Keywords: Student Worksheets, Science Process Skills, Valid, Practical

Abstract

Student Worksheet (LKPD) Based on High order thinking skills (HOTS) with the aim of producing LKPD that is valid, practical and effective. This type of research is Research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which has five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. This student worksheet based on high-level thinking skills aims to foster the creative spirit of students and improve higher-order thinking skills in accordance with the competence of applying HOTS in learning activities. This study aims to determine the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed worksheets. The population of this study amounted to 22 students and 2 biology teachers as respondents. Data on validity and practicality were obtained using the questionnaire response method. The research data were analyzed using an assessment rubric. The results of the analysis of the validity and practicality of LKPD with a total average of 80% for the teacher's response is 92% and for the student response is 85.76%. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the development of LKPD is in the very practical category.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a teaching material product in the form of e-LKPD oriented Project Based Learning integrated with STEAM in Biology Subject for Phase E SMA/MA Students which is valid, practical and effective. The subjects of the study were biology teachers and students of class X 5 SMAN 18 Makassar. This type of research is research and development (R&D) which adapts the ADDIE development model which has five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Validity data were collected through a product validation questionnaire on environmental change material. Practicality data were collected through student and teacher response questionnaires, and effectiveness data were collected through cognitive learning outcome tests. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that the average value of the total validity and product development was in the very high validity category (1). The response results meet the criteria of practicality because the average student response to product development is in the very practical category (85.22%) and the average teacher response value to product development is in the very practical category (93.31%). Product development meets the criteria of effectiveness because the average N-gain value of each student is in the moderate category (0.7).

Abstract

21st century education requires students to be more independent in learning. However, the integration of Project Based Learning (PjBL) with STEAM has not been widely explored. This study aimed to examine the effect of the STEAM-integrated PjBL model on students’ communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Using a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group, the experimental class was taught using PjBL-STEAM, while the control class used Direct Instruction. Results showed that the experimental class had a greater improvement than the control. In critical thinking, 16 of 33 students in the experimental class were in the very high category, compared to only 3 in the control class. In problem-solving, 3 students in the experimental class were in the very high category and 27 in the high category, while the control class had none in the very high and only 12 in the high category. Observation of communication skills showed 30% of the experimental class were in the very high oral category and 18% in written, while only 3% in the control class reached this level. In conclusion, the PjBL-STEAM model positively influences students’ communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the differences in creative thinking skills among seventh-grade students taught using Wordwall and Educaplay in science learning at SMP Negeri 16 Mandai. A quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent group design was used. The sample consisted of two experimental classes: Wordwall (n = 32) and Educaplay (n = 31). Data were obtained through a creative thinking skills test and analyzed using ANCOVA. The results showed no significant difference in students’ creative thinking skills between the Wordwall and Educaplay groups (p = 0.788). This indicates that both quiz-based media had a comparable effect on students’ creative thinking performance. Although descriptive data showed improvements in posttest scores in both groups, the statistical analysis confirmed that the difference between the two media was not significant. It can be concluded that Wordwall and Educaplay are equally effective in supporting the development of students’ creative thinking skills in science learning, though neither showed superiority over the other.
