Abstract

Implementation of learning at the Community Learning Center (PKBM) during the Covid 19 pandemic faced challenges, this was due to the diversity of backgrounds of students in PKBM. The majority of students in PKBM are adults, due to the nature of PKBM which is flexible and oriented to community needs. The use of applications in learning during a pandemic is an option that must be used. However, adults who were born as digital immigrants need to adapt to this new technology. This research was carried out by applying a quantitative approach, using a survey method, namely research examining large and small populations (universe) by selecting and studying selected samples from that population, so as to find the relative incidence, distribution, and interrelation of variables and located in the city Bandung. Data collection through observation, interviews, documentation studies, and questionnaires. The population of this study amounted to 77 PKBM institutions, obtained a sample with the slovin formula totaling 43 PKBM institutions, with a total of 200 PKBM students representing each institution. The results of the study show that the most widely used learning media is WhatsApp, The use of the whatsapp application is more applicable and familiar how to use it.

Abstract

Community development (community development) as a national development strategy in the framework of empowerment (empowerment community, is an important thing that aims to foster community self-reliance in utilizing its potential so that it is able to have the ability to adapt according to the development of the times. For that, empowerment) is a process of social action carried out by individuals, families, groups, communities, and companion organizations in the context of achieving the human development index (Human Development Index) quality. Based on this line of thinking, a community empowerment approach is needed through creative economy training for members of the farming community to support the acceleration of increasing community income, especially in Jayi Village, Kec. Sukahaji, Kab. Majalengka. This training activity is one of the community service programs conducted by community study program lecturers and students for farmers through the stages of preparation, planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting. The end result of the training activities is an increase in community awareness about the problems they face and their potential so that the readiness of the surrounding community to receive educational interventions appears (education intervention) in order to increase knowledge (cognitive), attitude (affective) and skills (skills) community members as training participants.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are 1) to analyze the implementation of public speaking training to improve the digital communication competence of Micro-, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) entrepreneurs in Cibeurum Village, Cimahi City, 2) to identify public speaking training strategies to enhance digital communication competence for MSMEs entrepreneurs, 3) to evaluate the responses to the public speaking training. This study applied qualitative methods with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used two data sources, primary and secondary sources. The processes for collecting data were through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results and discussion of this research is training public speaking as an effort to increase the competence of MSME actors has proven to have a positive impact on increasing the self-skills and confidence of MSME actors in developing their business.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to empower women to increase family income through the Motekar I Small Farmers Group. Motekar I Small Farmers in empowering women to increase family income made the program an empowerment for the community . Efforts to increase community independence in fulfilling needs through groups and small entrepreneurs make a product. The theory used in this study is women's empowerment, family economy, social organizing, agricultural processing, creating an entrepreneur. This research method uses qualitative methods. This data collection technique was seen from observational studies, documentation and interviews. Data analysis techniques in the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of research on women's empowerment to increase family income for members of the Motekar I KPK to develop their potential in accordance with the identification of community needs needs development so that they can progress, empowerment is the key to solving problems for families and women. Women's empowerment programs through making snacks are the motor or driving force in creating or increasing income, especially for women. The distribution of snacks which was held at the KPK Motekar I became an innovation for women and became a vehicle for creating an entrepreneur and an alternative to family problems.

Abstract

Parenting is increasingly complex, especially in the digital era, with many problems related to the impact of technology on children's development. Therefore, parenting training in the digital era is important to implement, this paper is to explore the importance of parenting training in the digital era and how this training can improve the skills of parents at Kober Arafah in caring for children in the digital era. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the process of organizing Child Care Parenting Training in the Digital Era. The training participants are parents who have early childhood in Kober Arafah. The results of the training show significant changes in parents' understanding and skills in dealing with the challenges of parenting in the digital era. The post-test scores showed a significant increase compared to the pre-test scores, indicating the effectiveness of the training. In conclusion, parenting training in the digital era has an important role in enhancing parents' skills in caring for children in the digital era, helping them face challenges and maintain the safety and well-being of their children in an increasingly complex digital world

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of pedagogy and andragogy in training strategies to improve the competence of vocational/vocational teacher teachers. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and document study. The study results show that implementing pedagogy and andragogy in training strategies can improve the competence of vocational/vocational teacher teachers. Pedagogy is used for training novice teachers and andragogy is used for training experienced teachers. The training strategies carried out include: (1) developing curriculum, (2) developing training materials, (3) using information and communication technology, (4) developing learning strategies, and (5) evaluating and assessing training results. This is contained in several sections that are published, namely, implementation, strategy, inhibiting factors, and benefits of training.

Abstract

Di tengah pandemi covid-19 UMKM seharusnya dapat menghasilkan lapangan pekerjaan yang luas. Para pelaku UMKM mengharuskan sumber daya manusianya agar dapat bertahan dan unggul dalam persaingan. Untuk memaksimalkan UMKM diperlukan adanya kolaborasi yang melibatkan partisipasi dari berbagai pihak untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kemajuan UMKM. Dengan adanya berbagai permasalahan terhadap pelaku UMKM di tengah covid-19, pengembangan sumber daya manusia pelaku UMKM merupakan salah satu solusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk membantu pengembangan UMKM sebagai fasilitator dan inkubator. Pelaksanaan Pengabdian ini dilakukan di Kelurahan Cibeureum Kota Cimahi dalam rangka pengembangan UMKM. Model kolaborasi pentahelix yang terdapat lima pemangku kepentingan (stakeholders) yang berkolaborasi dalam pengembangan yakni pemerintah, akademisi, media, masyarakat dan sahabat UMKM, dan swasta. Hasil dari pengabdian ini terbentuknya Sahabat UMKM yaitu sebuah kelompok yang berupaya untuk membantu, mengarahkan, dan mendukung individu/kelompok UMKM mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengembangan, dan evaluasi dalam pengembangan usahanya dalam kolaborasi pentahelix yang dilaksanakan. Pengabdian ini merupakan langkah fundamental untuk meningkatkan kapasitas UMKM di Kelurahan Cibeureum Kota Cimahi Provinsi Jawa Barat.

Abstract

: One of the roles of training to improve the quality of human resources is through skill/skill development activities or what is called life skills education. Job training is an important means of developing human resources. The development of this workforce is expected to later become a workforce that is ready to use, in the sense that it can immediately enter the world of work. The orientation of the job training program is very necessary considering that most of the labor force in Indonesia still works in the informal sector with very low productivity. Competence is the work ability that a person has to carry out his work in accordance with existing standards accompanied by aspects that follow it (knowledge, understanding, skills, values, attitudes, interests). The effectiveness of the implementation of work training programs in improving work competence. To obtain satisfactory results from the existence of job training programs is determined by a predetermined plan, namely the monitoring process after job training. The monitoring stage intends to determine the suitability and suitability of the program of activities carried out with the plans that have been prepared. This stage is used to correct activities that are not in accordance with the plan, correct the abuse of rules and resources, and seek to achieve the specified goals as efficiently and effectively as possible for the future. Abstract

Pendidikan di Indonesia memiliki 3 jalur, yakni jalur pendidikan formal, nonformal, dan informal. Namun, mayoritas orang hanya mementingkan pendidikan formal. Sehingga fokus peningkatan kualitas pendidikannya pun hanya terfokus pada pendidikan formal saja. Padahal, pendidikan formal dan informal pun harus memiliki kualitas yang baik. Terlebih pendidikan non formal adalah sebagai pelengkap atau bahkan pengganti pendidikan formal bagi orang yang bekum berkesempatan untuk menempuh pendidikan formal. Salah satunya yaitu dengan didirikannya PKBM yang merupakan singkatan dari Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat. Terdapat beberapa program yang ada di dalam PKBM misalnya seperti pendidikan keaksaraan, pendidikan kesetaraan, peningkatan life skill/soft skill, dan masih banyak lagi. Meskipun merupakan bagian dari pendidikan non formal, PKBM memiliki potensi yang cukup besar dalam mewujudkan generasi yang cerdas dan berdaya. Maka dari itu PKBM pun harus memiliki kualitas yang baik sama halnya dengan pendidikan formal yang selalu diusahakan untuk peningkatan kualitasnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey yakni secara langsung mengunjungi PKBM Al-Insan untuk mengidentifikasi serta memastikan dokumen apa saja yang belum terpenuhi untuk peningkatan mutu PKBM melalui akreditasi untuk kemudian didampingi dalam proses pemenuhan dokumen pendukung akreditasi PKBM. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa setiap jalur pendidikan di Indonesia penting untuk diingkatkan kualitasnya, karena generasi yang cerdasa dan berdaya lahir dari pendidikan yang berkualitas.

Abstract

Empowerment evaluation is critical in ensuring that the empowerment program achieves its goals and provides the intended benefits to the community it serves. By conducting a complete bibliometric analysis for the period 2014-2023, this study analyzed the current state and research trends in the subject of empowerment evaluation. This research focused on publication language, growth rates, keywords, most frequently used authors, most referenced papers, most prolific authors, most productive institutions, and most active countries. 355 journal articles were obtained from the Scopus database for bibliometric mapping analysis. The research findings showed that: (1) the majority of articles were written in English; (2) the most published articles were in 2015, with 65 articles; (3) empowerment was the most commonly used keyword; (4) the article by Fox, J.A. 2015 was the most frequently cited document; (5) Ponsford, R. from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, United Kingdom (England) is the most prolific writer; and  (6) the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine in the United Kingdom (England) is a public institution that produces the most work in the field of empowerment evaluation; and (7) the United States is the country with the highest work productivity in this field. This paper makes an important contribution to the topic of empowerment evaluation by providing a complete overview, scientific landscape, and future directions for the advancement and strengthening of research in the field.
