Abstract

Several bibliometric studies have been conducted to see the progress of Biology Learning Media (BLM), but these researches still provide a broad scope in evaluating the development of BLM. This study aims to provide a holistic overview of the trends in the use of BLM in Indonesia during 2018-2023 on the Scopus database. The method used is bibliometric analysis by identifying and analyzing the growth patterns of literature, authors, institutions, and keywords related to BLM development. The research procedure consisted of investigation, reduction, compilation, and interpretation. A total of 43 articles were analyzed using VOSviewer software to visualize bibliometric mapping. For the last five years, BLM-related publications peaked in 2019 with 13 articles. Universitas Negeri Malang is a foremost institution in BLM development. The most widely used BLM are android-based media, interactive multimedia, and website-based media. Ecology is the most widely taught learning topic, while cognitive (knowledge) is the most frequently measured learning outcome. We highlighted a paradigm change in the use of more massive Technology-based learning media. In the future, we suggest exploring various research topics in biology learning such as protists, genetics, or microbiology that can empower literacy as a primary topic in more innovative and dynamic learning.

Abstract

Background: The need for education cannot be separated from technology as a crucial basic literacy skill essential for solving problems that occur in the surrounding environment. The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Biological Environment Investigation model with Cinematographic Techniques in improving the digital literacy skills of high school students. Methods: The research method used is Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. The research subjects are 34 students from class X-A at SMAN 3 Malang. The success indicators of the research are the implementation of the Problem-Based Biological Environment Investigation model with Cinematographic Techniques according to the referenced syntax and the increase in the percentage of students' digital literacy skills. The research instruments include observation sheets for the feasibility of the learning process and observation sheets for the digital literacy skills of the students. Results: Based on the observation results, the implementation of the Problem-Based Biological Environment Investigation model with Cinematographic Techniques according to the referenced syntax includes problem orientation, organizing students, investigative activities, presenting results, and reflective evaluation. This learning model is also effective in improving students' digital literacy skills by 33.85%. especially in the indicator "Uses to Produce Original Works.” Conclusions: Based on the findings of the research, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Problem-Based Biological Environment Investigation model with Cinematographic Techniques is effectively able to enhance the digital literacy skills of high school students.

Abstract

Di kota Palopo sendiri pada akhir tahun 2020 masuk dalam kategori zona merah tetapi saat ini telah menjadi zona kuning. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi program penangulangan Covid-19 di Kota Palopo melalui Kriteria Epidemiologi dan Kriteria Sistem kesehatan, Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus instrumental. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode evaluasi formatif dengan Informan sebanyak 6 orang dari satuan gugus tugas percepatan penanganan covid-19. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik wawancara mendalam, teknik observasi dan teknik dokumen. Hasil penelitian untuk menilai keberhasilan penanggulangan melalui Kriteria Epidemiologi dan Kriteria Sistem kesehatan menunjukkan Pada Kriteria Epidemiologi menunjukkan telah sesuai dengan hasil yang diharapkan, dan pada Kriteria Sistem Pelayanan Kesehatan menunjukkan hasil yang baik dan merupakan hasil penelitian yang diharapkan. Diharapkan pemerintah mempertahankan ataupun meningkatkan kinerja dari semua tim satuan gugus percepatan dan penanganan covid-19 maupun para lintas sektor yang terlibat dalam penanggulangan covid-19 di Kota Palopo. Dan diharapkan pula pemerintah maupun lintas sektor lainnya lebih meningkatkan koordinasi dan kerjasama khususnya dalam hal penanggulangan covid-19 di Kota Palopo

Abstract

Education is a lifelong process to develop human potential optimally. Education also aims to form people with character, competence and competitiveness in the era of globalization. One of the competencies that students must have in the era of globalization is global skills and digital literacy. The aim of this study is to enhance global skills and digital literacy regarding the growth and development of living organisms among high school students through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. This research employs a classroom action research design with both quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The subjects of the study are students of class XI E-4 at SMA Negeri 3 Malang, consisting of 13 male and 21 female students. Data analysis yielded global skill scores of 84.75 (Cycle I) and digital literacy scores of 85.17 (Cycle I), and global skill scores of 88.28 (Cycle II) and digital literacy scores of 90.16 (Cycle II). The results of the statistical analysis using the t-test also show a significant difference in the global skills variable (0.026 < 0.05) and digital literacy (0.002 < 0.05) across both learning cycles. These results indicate an improvement in both global skills and digital literacy among the students. Based on the research findings, the implementation of the PBL model is deemed necessary as one of the efforts to address the globalization era, particularly in fostering the global skills and digital literacy of students.

Abstract

Protist concepts pose significant challenges for students due to their abstract nature and the complexity of microscopic structures. This study evaluates the validity, practicality, and acceptance of the Augmented Reality-Based Protist Application (AR-BPA), designed to enhance students' understanding of protists through immersive, 3D visualization. Following the development model by Lee & Owens (2004), this research focuses on the development stage, involving validity tests, preliminary implementation, and practicality assessments. Data were gathered from 3 experts, 32 students, and 2 lecturers through questionnaires and interviews, revealing high levels of usability and practicality for AR-BPA. The findings indicate that AR-BPA effectively supports student learning by making abstract concepts more accessible. Nonetheless, improvements in content scope and interface design are suggested to further optimize user experience. The study highlights AR-BPA’s potential to revolutionize protist education, with implications for broader applications in biology learning. Future research should explore scalability and additional factors to fully realize AR-BPA’s educational impact.

Abstract

Background: To reduce stunting, the government of Indonesia, which has the fifth-highest prevalence of stunting in toddlers, launched the National Strategy for the Acceleration of Stunting Prevention (StraNas Stunting). Despite involving multiple sectors, stunting rates remain high. This research aimed to develop cross-sector collaboration indicators to assess the effectiveness of cross-sector efforts in reducing stunting. Method: This qualitative study utilized a rapid assessment procedure (RAP) to generate cross-sector collaboration indicators through in-depth interviews with five key informants and four experts. The recurring themes from these interviews were identified as indicators, which were further refined. In the second phase, quantitative analysis was conducted with 50 respondents to test the developed indicators using Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) methods. Result: A total of 15 indicators and 41 sub-indicators of cross-sector collaboration were developed across five key dimensions: governance, administration, autonomy, mutuality, and norms. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was performed to validate the indicators, with the results showing that the Average Variance Extracted (AVE) for each dimension was greater than 0.5, and the Composite Reliability (CR) exceeded 0.7. These findings confirm the validity and reliability of the developed indicators. Conclusion: As recognized by experts, the theory of cross-sector collaboration has been further advanced by the cross-sector collaboration indicators generated in this study. Additionally, these indicators, which were based on five dimensions of collaboration, may be used to assess cross-sector performance for the Stunting Acceleration Program in Indonesia. The framework of this study for defining and assessing collaboration was expected to provide a foundation for further research.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based oriented project based learning (POPBL) yang diintegrasikan dengan science reflective journal writing (SRJ) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan argumentasi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Baru. Penelitian ini tergolong jenis penelitian pra-eksperimental dengan desain one group pretest posttest. Populasi pada penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Baru yang terdiri atas 1 kelas berjumlah 24 siswa dengan sampel sebanyak 24 responden yang ditentukan melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari ATP, Modul ajar, lembar kerja peserta didik, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan sintaks, tes keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan tes keterampilan argumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t berpasangan untuk uji dua sisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan argumentasi siswa yang diajarkan melalui model POPBL dengan SRJ yang dibuktikan dari nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of problem based oriented project based learning (POPBL) integrated with science reflective journal writing (SRJ) on critical thinking skills and argumentation skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Baru. This research is classified as a type of pre-experimental research with a one group pretest posttest design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Baru consisting of 1 class totaling 24 students with a sample of 24 respondents who were determined through a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument consisted of a syllabus, learning implementation plans, student worksheets, syntax implementation observation sheets, tests of critical thinking skills, and tests of argumentation skills. The data analysis technique uses a paired sample t-test for a two-tailed test. The results showed that there were significant differences in students' critical thinking skills and argumentation skills taught through the POPBL and SRJ models as evidenced by the significance value of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkarakterisasi interaksi antara pendidikan Islam dengan budaya dan filsafat. Metodologi penelitiannya menggunakan penelitian studi literatur, yaitu serangkaian tugas yang berkaitan dengan teknik pengumpulan data perpustakaan, membaca, mengevaluasi, dan mengorganisasikan data yang dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber literasi. Pengertian filsafat dan budaya pendidikan Islam dijelaskan melalui temuan penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif sebagai metodologinya. Penelitian yang berupaya mengkarakterisasi ideologi pendidikan Islam disebut penelitian deskriptif. Sementara materinya diambil dari sejumlah publikasi ilmiah yang dimaksudkan untuk dijadikan referensi. Al-Qur'an dan al-Hadits menjadi sumber utama eksplorasi konseptual filsafat pendidikan Islam terhadap permasalahan pendidikan, yang kemudian dilengkapi dengan penilaian professional. Selain itu, karena setiap penduduk mempunyai keinginan dan preferensi yang berbeda, keragaman budaya suatu bangsa juga mempengaruhi bagaimana pendidikan berkembang.

Abstract

Introduction: The Indonesian Health Social Security Administering Agency (BPJS) has developed an information technology-based service, Mobile JKN, which can be accessed via smartphone. This application can make obtaining program services easier for National Health Insurance participants. However, utilization of the Mobile JKN application is still lacking; only 6.8% of National Health Insurance Participants in Ternate City use this application. This research aims to determine the factors related to using the Mobile JKN application at BPJS Health in Ternate City. Methods: This type of research is quantitative, using an analytical survey method and a cross-sectional study. A sample of 265 was obtained by chance through direct interviews and online questionnaires on Google Forms. Univariate data analysis with frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using Fisher's exact test. Results: The research found a relationship between system quality (p=0.001), information quality (p=0.000), service quality (p=0.000), user satisfaction (p=0.000), and net benefits (p=0.000) with the use of the Mobile JKN application. These findings highlight the critical role of technical and user experience factors in driving app adoption. Conclusion: All research variables were related to using the Mobile JKN application. The information system for the Mobile JKN application must be developed to be more easily accessible to all groups of society. To improve utilization, efforts should focus on enhancing accessibility, user-friendliness, and digital literacy, especially for underserved populations. Strengthening infrastructure and nationwide awareness campaigns can further drive adoption. These findings provide valuable insights for policymakers and serve as a model for similar digital health initiatives globally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran dan praktek kerja industry (prakerin) terhadap kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal studi empiris pada SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Pura. Jenis penelitian ini adalah expost facto. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan Teknik Random Sampling, yaitu sebanyak 49 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji t untuk variabel keaktifan siswa (X1) diperoleh thitung > ttabel (4,428 > 1,677) dan angka sig 0,000 < 0,05, berarti keaktifan siswa berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal. Untuk variabel prakerin (X2) nilai thitung > ttabel (3,096 > 1,677) dan angka sig 0,003 < 0,05, berarti prakerin berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Untuk uji F diperoleh Fhitung > Ftabel (79,109 > 3,20) dan nilai signifikansi 95% dan α sebesar 0,05, maka 0,000 < 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran (X1) dan praktek kerja industri (X2) terhadap kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal (Y). Hasil analisis linear berganda diperoleh Y = 17,813 + 0,446 X1 + 0,322 X2 + e menunjukkan bahwa keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran dan praktek kerja industri berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal.
