Abstract

Sick Building syndrome is a symptom that is felt by someone who carries out activities in the building caused by poor indoor air quality conditions that can cause several symptoms of health problems. The purpose of this study was to analyze complaints of sick building syndrome among nurses in hospital inpatient rooms. This research method uses quantitative methods with analytic survey types. The design used was a cross-sectional study with a total sample of 120 people. Data analysis used the chi-square test. The results of this study showed that as many as 40% of nurses experienced symptoms of sick-building syndrome with the most common complaints being sneezing, runny nose/flu, dry skin, dry lips, and feeling tired. And the factors associated with the symptoms of sick building syndrome in nurses are temperature, humidity, lighting, occupancy density, air circulation, years of service, and age. So that hospital management needs to periodically check the physical environment in hospital inpatient rooms.

Abstract

Low back pain is a major health problem in the workforce. Physiotherapist is a profession that presents a high risk of suffering from low back pain due to work because their work requires the musculoskeletal system, repetitive movements of the upper limbs that the body is in a static and dynamic position for a long time. The purpose of this study was to determine which risk factors were responsible for lower back pain caused by the work of physiotherapists in Pekanbaru. This research uses quantitative methods. The analysis of the data was performed on the analysis of the level of back pain, the analysis of the work picture, the RULA assessment (Rappid Upper Limb Assesment), univariate analysis, bivariate analysis and multivariate analysis. The sample of this study included 42 members of the Pekanbaru City Physiotherapy Association. The results obtained indicate that the variables associated with the incidence of work-related low back pain are sport routines. The results of the analysis obtained interaction variables (p <0.05) Sports Routines so that conclusions can be drawn variables related to the incidence of low back pain is Sports Routines. Physiotherapists who don't exercise regularly are 16 times more likely to experience back pain compared to physiotherapists who exercise regularly. Multivariate results R square = 0.389 means that awkward posture, length of service and gender variables can explain the variable back pain by 38.9%. From the results of this study, it is necessary to educate and modify the working techniques of the physiotherapists of the city of Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Pemeriksaan radiologi dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat pencitraan diagnostik yang memancarkan sinar radiasi. Oleh karena itu instalasi radiologi harus memperhatikan aspek penerapan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja pekerja. Keselamatan radiasi diatur dalam Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 33 Tahun 2007 dan Perka Bapeten No 4/2020. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi penerapan keselamatan radiasi pada instalasi radiologi Rumah Sakit Madani Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi dan telaah dokumen. Informan penelitian sebanyak 8 orang, yang ditentukan berdasarkan teknik snowball sampling. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah beberapa persyaratan manajemen, beberapa persyaratan proteksi radiasi dan persyaratan teknik belum sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku, verifikasi keselamatan instalasi radiologi telah sesuai dengan persyaratan yang berlaku. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan keselamatan radiasi pada instalasi radiologi Rumah Sakit Madani belum sesuai dengan Peraturan Kepala Badan Pengawas Tenaga Nuklir Nomor 4 Tahun 2020.Kata Kunci : Penerapan  K3 Instalasi Radiologi, Radiasi, Rumah Sakit

Abstract

RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau merupakan sarana pelayanan kesehatan yang mempunyai risiko terjadinya kebakaran karena aktivitas yang dilakukan di rumah sakit. Selain itu, belum semua pekerja yang mengikuti pelatihan tanggap darurat kebakaran. Sehingga tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada pekerja mengenai tanggap darurat kebakaran di RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau sehingga dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan pekerja sehingga mampu untuk melakukan penyelamatan diri dan orang disekitarnya saat kondisi darurat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini melalui pemberian edukasi dengan dua pendekatan yaitu penyuluhan dan simulasi tanggap darurat kebakaran pada pekerja RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah terjadinya peningkatan pekerja setelah dilakukan pelatihan yang ditunjukkan dari hasil pretest dan posttest yang meningkat menjadi 80%. Sehingga pelatihan ini sangat bermanfaat untuk peningkatan pengetahuan pekerja mengenai tanggap darurat kebakaran. Dan dengan dilakukannya simulasi kebakaran ini juga merupakan pengalaman bagi pekerja untuk penyelamatan diri saat terjadinya darurat kebakaran. Kata kunci: Tanggap Darurat, Kebakaran, Rumah sakit

Abstract

Nurses in carrying out their duties have the risk of having a work accident or getting an occupational disease. Based on data from RSI Ibnu Sina Pekanbaru it was recorded that work accidents that occurred to nurses included cases of being stabbed by a needle, slipping, officers being squeezed by a stretcher, and slashing. The purpose of this study was to analyze hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control using the HIRARC Method for Nurses at the Inpatient Installation of RSI Ibnu Sina Pekanbaru with 10 informants. Collecting data using in-depth interviews, observation, and document review and processing using the triangulation method, namely the researcher carried out observations, and looked at archives as well as pictures and photos.  The results showed the identification of dangers, namely needle stick wounds, contracting Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, HIV/AIDS, wrong posture and anxiety about contracting infectious diseases, high-risk assessment of drug injection, infusion, blood sampling, and control. Risk, namely substitution, administrative, and personal protective equipment. The conclusion of this study states that the identification of hazards in inpatient installations are mechanical hazards, biological hazards, ergonomic hazards, and psychosocial hazards. The highest risk value is mechanical hazards, namely needle sticks resulting in needle stick wounds and contracting infectious diseases. The existing hazard controls are SOP and personal protective equipment. Suggestions need to be increased monitoring of officer compliance, socialization of SPOs, monitoring of incident reporting, ergonomic training, and routine health check programs.

Abstract

Up Respiratory Infection (URI) is one of the leading causes of death in children under five years of age in the world. The incidence of ARI in Rokan Hulu Regency is in the first place with the number of 4118 cases in the 2019 period. The highest ARI cases were found in Ujung Batu Health Center, Rokan Hulu Regency, compared to Puskesmas Kunto the incidence of ISPA reached 211 cases. The research objective was to determine the factors that influence the incidence of upper respiratory tract infections at the Ujung Batu Health Center, Rokan Hulu Regency. The research method used quantitative type and cross sectional design. The population in this study were all households in the Ujung Batu Health Center, with a sample of 157 people. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. Using primary data, with observation sheet instruments and questionnaires. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The results showed that there was an effect of the wall effect on the incidence of ARI (pvalue = 0.017), and there was an effect of ventilation with the incidence of ARI (pvalue = 0.000 <0.05). In addition, there is no effect of road facilities, cooking fuel and house floors with the incidence of ARI at the Ujung Batu Health Center, Rokan Hulu Regency. It is hoped that the puskesmas will be able to enter with the local community in disseminating the conditions for a healthy house on a regular basis, improving the condition of the walls and ventilation of the house which are still not in accordance with the standards of a healthy house. Bibliography: 35 References (2009-2015)Keywords: Up Respiratory Infection, factors

Abstract

Based on data on planning, procurement and distribution of drug logistics in 2022 obtained from the Dumai City Regional Hospital Pharmacy Installation, data on medicines realized and distributed is around 75% of the plans that have been determined, meaning that there are still around 25% of medicines that have not been realized and distributed. at Dumai City Regional Hospital. The research aims to analyze drug logistics management in the Dumai City Hospital pharmacy installation. This type of research is qualitative using descriptive analysis. There were 10 informants for this research. The research method uses interviews, observation and document tracing. The analysis technique uses data analysis triangulation. The results of the research show that drug planning in the Dumai City Hospital Pharmacy Installation has not run optimally, because the availability of human resources is still lacking. The source of the drug planning budget comes from the State budget, Revenue and Expenditure Budget Area and Regional Public Service Agency. Drug planning has been carried out according to needs, but in this planning there are obstacles, namely changes. Drug procurement in analyzing drug logistics management uses catalogs, direct procurement systems, and tender systems. Drug distribution in analyzing drug logistics management is carried out in accordance with procedures. Drug control is carried out by the activity technical executive officer who is responsible for drug logistics management activities. Abstract

Radiological examination is carried out using a diagnostic imaging tool that emits radiation, therefore radiology installations must pay attention to aspects of the application of workers' occupational safety and health. The purpose of this study was evaluation of the implementation of occupational safety and health at the Radiology Installation of the Madani Regional Hospital, Pekanbaru City in 2021. This study uses qualitative research methods through in-depth interviews, observation and document review. The research informants were 8 people, which were determined based on the snowball sampling technique. The results obtained are standard operating procedures (SOP) for services have been made and have been socialized and implemented by officers but special SOP for occupational health and safety (K3) are not yet available, radiology installation permits are still in process, K3 training has not been implemented, installation facilities and infrastructure radiology is adequate but there are still shortcomings, archive records have been neatly and in detail in accordance with applicable regulations, reports cannot be carried out because the radiology installation is still in the permit process; some management requirements, some radiation protection requirements and technical requirements are not in accordance with applicable regulations, radiology installation safety verification is in accordance with applicable requirements. The conclusion of this study is that the application of K3 Radiology Installation at the Madani Regional Hospital is not in accordance with the regulation of the head of the nuclear energy supervisory agency number 4 of 2020. It is recommended that the Radiology Installation and related parties can complete the licensing file that is still lacking, conduct K3 training, report if the permit has been completed, meet management requirements, radiation protection requirements and technical requirements that are still lacking.

Abstract

Fire is a threat to human safety, property and the environment. Fire incidents at gas stations often occur, at least from 2018-2020 there have been two fire cases in Indragiri Hulu Regency which resulted in physical and material losses. The fire occurred due to the unavailability and lack of monitoring of active fire protection facilities at gas stations. This type of research is a case study qualitative research which is determined by purposive sampling. The informants in this study consisted of 6 people, namely operators, field coordinators, technical staff, supervisors, leaders and directors of gas stations. The results obtained are that the gas station already has 2 fire detectors but does not meet the standard of SNI 03-3985-2000, Gas stations already have fire alarms but not yet installed in all buildings, gas stations already have 4 fire extinguishers and are not in accordance with Pertamina Regulation and PU Ministerial Regulation No. 26/PRT/M/2008, there is an absorbent in the form of sand with a blue tub and it is not in accordance with Pertamina standards, it already has a hydrant that meets the standard and already has hose reels. It is suggested to gas stations to increase the number of fire detectors, fire alarms, fire extinguishers, hydrants and absorbents in accordance with Pertamina standards.

Abstract

Occupational safety and health (K3) is a protective effort given to workers so that they are always in good health and provide safety in carrying out work activities and provide a sense of comfort to everyone who enters the workplace. The purpose of this study is to analyze the Implementation of of the implementation of the K3 program at the Madani Regional Hospital of Pekanbaru City in 2021. This study used a qualitative research method through in-depth interviews, observation and document review with 8 research informants, which were determined by purposive sampling. The results obtained are that the current human resources K3 of the Hospital are not sufficient, the infrastructure and K3 budget are inadequate, risk management has not been implemented, health services have not been carried out thoroughly, the management of toxic hazardous materials (B3) is not optimal, prevention and fire control and preparedness for emergency or disaster conditions have not been implemented because K3 officers also have responsibilities in other fields of work. The conclusion of this study is that the application of K3 at the Madani Regional Hospital of Pekanbaru City has not gone well. It is recommended to the hospital management to increase human resources K3 of the Hospital in accordance with the K3 educational background, complete the K3 facilities and infrastructure, allocate a special budget for the K3 program, carry out risk management, provide comprehensive occupational health services, carry out management according to standards, and carry out prevention and comprehensive fire and emergency control.
