Abstract

This paper aims to describe the local wisdom values of the Tuk Sikopyah Ritual in Serang Village, explain their inheritance, and analyse the water management in overcoming drought. The research employed a mixed method. The qualitative method was used to examine the data dealing with explaining the local wisdom values of the Tuk Sikopyah Ritual and the ways of their inheritance to the younger generation; whilst the quantitative method was to calculate the usage of the water in meeting daily water needs of Serang community. It was found that seven kinds of noble values are practised in the Tuk Sikopyah water-taking ritual. The seven noble values are concerned with the existence, utilization, and preservation of the Tuk Sikopyah water spring. The caretaker collaborates with the clerics and local government to teach and inherit the local wisdom values in the Tuk Sikopyah water-taking ritual. The calculation showed that only around 72.80% of the Tuk Sikopyah water debit (calculation in the dry season) were used to fulfil the daily need of the community of Serang Village.

Abstract

Abstract: The preservation of the calendar of season must be maintained as the evidence of culture whose its continuity must not to be lost. This research aims to undertand and analyze the system of inheritance of local values regarding the calendar of season among local fisherman community in Rembang Resident. The research was conducted with qualitative study case approach. The data collection of this research was conducted using in-depth interview, FGD (Focus Group Discussion), observation, as well as the library study and documentation. The data analysis technique was utilized with the Miles and Huberman model analysis technique which includes three stages, such as data reduction, data presetation, and drawing conclusion. The result shows that the knowledge of calendar of season was obtained from many sources, that is from parents, grandfather, uncle, in-law, and fellow fisherman. The inheritance process was done through three transmission routes, that is vertical, oblique, and horizontal transmission. Verbal transmission and direct practical teaching is used as inheritance method when they go to sea. In practice, the inheritance process is carried out verbally and not documented. The passing on of knowledge of the calendar of season aims to help the generation in running their activities on the sea.Keywords: Inheritance; Local Wisdom; Season Calendar.Abstrak: Kelestarian dari kalender musim harus tetap dijaga sebagai sebuah bukti budaya yang keberlangsungannya tidak boleh hilang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis sistem pewarisan nilai-nilai lokal tentang kalender musim pada kelompok nelayan lokal di Kabupaten Rembang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekekatan kualitatif studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, FGD (Focus Group Discussion), observasi, serta studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis model Miles and Huberman yang meliputi tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan kalender musim didapatkan dari banyak sumber yaitu dari orang tua, kakek, paman, mertua, dan teman sesama nelayan. Proses pewarisan dilakukan melalui tiga jalur transmisi yaitu melalui transmisi vertikal, transmiri miring, dan transmisi horizontal. Metode pewarisan yang digunakan yaitu penyampaian secara lisan dan pengajaran/praktik langsung ketika diajak melaut. Proses pewarisan tersebut dalam praktiknya dilakukan secara verbal/lisan dan tidak terdokumentasikan. Pewarisan pengetahuan kalender musim bertujuan untuk membantu generasi tersebut dalam menjalankan aktivitasnya dalam melaut.Kata Kunci: Pewarisan; Kearifan Lokal; Kalender Musim.

Abstract

Kurikulum sebagai bagian penting dalam pendidikan memiliki posisi strategis dalam pendidikan. Hitam putihnya kualitas pendidikan sesungguhnya sangat ditentukan oleh eksistensi kurikulum tersebut. Pandemi Covid-19 menjadi salah satu faktor yang menjadi pertimbangan untuk dilakukannya perubahan kurikulum. Perubahan pola pembelajaran yang dari luring menjadi daring memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap capaian pembelajaran. Pemerintah pada tahun 2021 menerbitkan tentang kurikulum merdeka (kurikulum merdeka 2022). Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penguatan kapasitas sebaagai seorang guru geografi melalui peningkatan kualitas perangkat pembelajaran. Kurikulum merdeka mendorong pembelajaran sesuai kemampuan siswa dan memberi ruang lebih luas pada pengembangan karakter dan kompetensi dasar. Permasalahan yang dihadapi guru di lapangan adalah bagaiamana pengembangan perangkat pada kurikulum merdeka agar roh dari kurikulum tersebut dapat diimplementasikan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Kota Semarang dengan sasaran khalayak yaitu guru-guru Geografi SMA yang tergabung dalam forum MGMP Geografi SMA. Metode kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan tiga Langkah, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanan, dan evaluasi.  Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa guru geografi SMA di Kota Semarang 52,4% harus beradaptasi dengan sistem kurikulum yang baru dan para guru sangat membutuhkan kegiatan ini hal ini dibuktikan dengan tingkat kehadiran yang mencapai lebih dari 60% dari total peserta MGMP Geografi. Selain melalui tingkat kehadiran, indikator keberhasilan kegiatan dilakukan dengan hasil pres test dan postet. Hasilnya menujukkan peningkatan yang cukup signifikan pada pemahaman dan penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran untuk Kurikulum Merdeka dari sebelum kegiatan hanya 15 orang (25%) menjadi 60 peserta atau 100%. Hasil tersebut menujukkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan sangat penting bagi para guru yang menjadi pelaksana dari Kruikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir kritis dapat tercapai melalui proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran dan media pembelajara secara tepat oleh guru terhadap peserta didik, dengan demikian guru sebagai fasilitator hendaknya menggunakan model serta media yang sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran, sehingga hasil pembelajaran sesuai dengan standar kompetensi saat ini. Seorang guru memiliki tanggung jawab dalam menciptakan suasana kelas yang kondusif, sehingga aktivitas belajar siswa tinggi dan hasil belajar juga optimal. Hasil belajar pada umumnya terlihat dari pola berpikir kritis siswa dalam melaksanakan proses belajar. Oleh karena itu, pencapaian hasil belajar maksimal dapat tercapai dengan pengembangan potensi berpikir kritis yang diasah dan dilatih oleh peserta didik. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis adalah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Creative Outdoor Learning yang terdiri dari langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: Exploring, Mind Mapping, Creating, Presenting dan Evaluating yang diterapkan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran Creative Outdoor Learning. Penelitian dilakukan di SMAN Balung Jember. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian menggunakan pre- test and post-test control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan model Creative Outdoor Learning (COL) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Dengan demikian maka model pembelajaran Creative Outdoor Learning dapat dijadikan sebagai model inovatif yang dapat digunakan guru untuk melatih keterampilanan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Buffalo racing is a tradition, custom and game of the people of Sumbawa which is still held and has become a community habit. The aim of the research is to find out the implementation of the buffalo racing culture and the values contained therein which maintain existing local wisdom. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative obtained from sources. Meanwhile, data collection techniques use observation and interview techniques. The results of research into the implementation process of the karapan buffalo tradition started from forming a committee, providing a location, preparing a pair of buffalo, a list of participants, Sandro going around the saka, the buffalo being dressed in noga and coral, the running of the buffalo bepan tradition, and distribution of prizes. Meanwhile, the values contained in the buffalo karapan tradition are mutual cooperation, culture and economics.

Abstract

The fulfillment of food needs is one indicator of community welfare. The calculation of the carrying capacity of food crops is used to determine the extent to which an area meets its food needs. The aims of this study were: (1) to calculate the level of carrying capacity of rice plants in Pati Regency, (2) to plan land that has the opportunity to be used as a LP2B area, and (3) to find out the maximum population and year in Pati Regency to meet food needs. The technique of analyzing the carrying capacity of rice plants uses the calculation of the carrying capacity of natural resources and the analysis of determining land that has the potential to become sustainable food cropland using an overlay map analysis with ArcGIS. The results showed that the value of the rice plant commodity had a carrying capacity value of more than 1, which was 1,371. The results of the map-making, the land that has the opportunity to be used as permanent rice fields is 50.635 hectares. The maximum population that can be met by annual rice production is 1.622.356 people. The results of population projections using the geometric method, the maximum year Pati Regency can be self-sufficient in food is 2040. The fulfillment of sustainable food needs can be realized through monitoring the implementation of the LP2B program so that the conversion rate of agricultural land can be minimized. Abstract

Nowadays, adolescents are facilitated by the means applied through practical knowledge of the method, rationally leading to efficiency in the application of adolescent life. We can say that adolescents today are influenced by technology. This article's goal is to clarify the reasons why adolescents in Puseurjaya Village are interested in using social media, especially Tiktok, in their daily lives. Furthermore, the author has a hope that this article will provide sufficient knowledge in the field of social media, especially for adolescents and their parents, to support their education. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative approach, which means searching for facts, researching social issues, and specific circumstances, such as relationships and activities, that exist in the nomena world, the invisible world, or the human senses, as well as affect his life. In conclusion, adolescents in Puseurjaya Village are interested in using social media, especially Tiktok, based on following their friends and current trends. Overall, the support and supervision provided by parents regarding adolescent use of social media has a positive impact on maintaining their mental health, manners, and physical health. Through open communication, guidance, and attention, parents can help adolescents develop healthy and responsible behavioural patterns in the digital world.

Abstract

One of local tourist attractions is tourism village. The tourism community must have the roles as good and proper hosts for visitors. To achive this, it is necessary to have education that incorporates modeling in order to accomplish this goal. This can be accomplished through the provision of examples by educators or by other modeling activities such as comparative studies. This study aims to analyze the implementation, results of socio-cultural education, and its impact on the social and economic sectors of the Candirejo Tourist Village community. Qualitative method is used in this study. The results found that there are five types of sociocultural education: Seven Charms (Sapta Pesona), MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) or UMKM, social media, cultural markets, and foreign languages. The implementation of this education includes instilling values and modeling observed by participants. The results of the education indicate that tourist actors have exhibited positive behavioral changes as a result of the education. The existence of this tourism village has a positive impact on the social and economic fields, as evidenced by the maintained behavior of the community that aligns with local values, the presence of alternative income and employment for the community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas dari penerapan metode gallery walk, mengetahui proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hasil belajar, dan kendala yang dihadapi saat melaksanakan metode pembelajaran gallery walk. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen jenis pre-experimental dengan desain one-group pretest posttest dan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 69 siswa dengan ketentuan mengambil mata pelajaran geografi sebagai peminatan dan sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 36 siswa dengan metode simple random sampling. Instrumen yang mendukung pengumpulan data penelitian ini terdiri dari tes, observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan uji N-Gain menghasilkan skor mean sebesar 59,55%, keaktifan siswa meningkat sebesar 89%, hasil belajar siswa meningkat 87%, dan kendala yang dihadapi siswa menerapkan gallery walk dapat teratasi sebesar 78%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode gallery walk berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa dan termasuk kategori cukup efektif. Siswa dapat mengatasi kendala yang dihadapi dalam penerapan gallery walk mengacu pada respons siswa pada angket. Gallery walk memerlukan perencanaan yang sistematis sebelum diterapkan agar pelaksanaan dapat berjalan baik. Koordinasi antara guru dan siswa dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan metode gallery walk dapat membantu mengatasi kendala-kendala yang muncul dan membuat alokasi waktu pembelajaran dapat lebih efisien.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena kurangnya aktivitas dan keaktifan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan peneliti adalah discovery learning dengan metode penilitian tindakan kelas sebanyak dua siklus. Setiap siklus dilaksanakan dalam dua kali pertemuan dengan empat tahap kegiatan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian yaitu kelas IX F SMPN 21 Semarang yang berjumlah 33 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Hasil penilitian pra siklus menunjukkan bahwa hasil rata-rata keaktifan peserta didik pada presentase 49,29%, sedangkan pada fase siklus I presentase keaktifan peserta didik sebanyak 70,70%, dan meningkat lagi pada fase siklus II keaktifan peserta didik menjadi 76,56%. Maka dari itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan discovery learning dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPS materi masa kemerdekaan Indonesia (1945-1950).    This research was motivated by the lack of activity and activeness of students in the learning process. The aim of this research is to increase students' active learning in the learning process. The learning model used by researchers is discovery learning with a two-cycle classroom action research method. Each cycle is carried out in two meetings with four activity stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were class IX F of SMPN 21 Semarang, totaling 33 students. The data collection techniques used are observation, documentation and tests. The results of the pre-cycle research showed that the average percentage of student activity was 49.29%, while in the first cycle phase the percentage of student activity was 70.70%, and increased again in the second cycle phase, student activity was 76.56%. . Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of discovery learning can increase students' active learning in social studies subjects during the period of Indonesian independence (1945-1950).
