Abstract

One of local tourist attractions is tourism village. The tourism community must have the roles as good and proper hosts for visitors. To achive this, it is necessary to have education that incorporates modeling in order to accomplish this goal. This can be accomplished through the provision of examples by educators or by other modeling activities such as comparative studies. This study aims to analyze the implementation, results of socio-cultural education, and its impact on the social and economic sectors of the Candirejo Tourist Village community. Qualitative method is used in this study. The results found that there are five types of sociocultural education: Seven Charms (Sapta Pesona), MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) or UMKM, social media, cultural markets, and foreign languages. The implementation of this education includes instilling values and modeling observed by participants. The results of the education indicate that tourist actors have exhibited positive behavioral changes as a result of the education. The existence of this tourism village has a positive impact on the social and economic fields, as evidenced by the maintained behavior of the community that aligns with local values, the presence of alternative income and employment for the community.

Abstract

Pasar Desa Gerit, also known as Pasar Perkaulaan, is located in Cluwak District - Pati Regency. The market operates once every 36 days, the time chosen following the Javanese calendar called pasar. The market opens every Sunday Legi to Sening Pahing. Visitors have a vow , which is a promise associated with religion[3][4]. The purpose of this activity is to provide assistance to the market community as a preventive measure to mitigate disasters, for example due to man-made disasters [18] or natural disasters. The implementation method is packaged in the form of qualitative socialization, including: socialization by providing disaster mitigation material, FGDs, determining the placement of evacuation routes and gathering points that are easily accessible to the community. Furthermore, the installation of signs by community participants, feedback on a series of activities as an evaluation of the success of the activity. The implication of the activity shows the building of community enthusiasm for socialization, understanding the usefulness of the need for signs, and their placement. In addition, the target audience can practice following the evacuation route to find the shortest way to reach a safe place indicated by the assembly point

Abstract

Story Maps is a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) application. Disasters are considered normal and do not necessarily happen, for this reason it is necessary to increase knowledge, attitudes and behavior regarding disasters. The general objective of the activity is to assist training in making Story Maps for landslide-prone disasters in disaster mitigation efforts. The specific objectives of the activity are: 1) analyzing the use of Story Maps for disaster awareness, 2) landslide disaster mitigation training, 3) analyzing understanding of landslide disaster preparedness. Community service activities are carried out together with MGMP IPS Education partners in Semarang City.  The solutions offered by universities are: 1) transferring knowledge by holding training for mentoring, coaching and strengthening capacity to have a disaster care attitude, 2) providing assistance so that they are able to innovate and be creative in landslide disaster preparedness activities, 3) implement the ability to develop programs landslide disaster preparedness activities. The expected results are: educational training modules for landslides, strengthening MGMP capacity in terms of knowledge, attitudes and behavior regarding disaster care, innovation strategies for disaster care activities.

Abstract

The training program on utilizing household organic waste into liquid fertilizer for the PKK group in Sidomukti Village aims to improve knowledge and skills in processing organic waste into economically valuable products. The methods used include socialization, practical demonstrations, production of liquid fertilizer using anaerobic fermentation, and harvesting and evaluation. The training results showed a 78% increase in participants' understanding of organic waste management and liquid fertilizer production techniques. The liquid fertilizer produced has good physical characteristics with a blackish-brown color, a tapai-like aroma, and a pH of 5.5-6.5. The program received positive responses with 92% of participants expressing satisfaction, 89% intending to implement organic waste management at home, and 78% interested in developing organic liquid fertilizer businesses. The follow-up program includes expansion to all hamlets in Sidomukti Village and development of a village-level organic waste collection system.

Abstract

Pembangunan Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang (KITB) bertujuan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi dan membuka lapangan kerja baru, namun menyebabkan alih fungsi lahan besar yang memengaruhi aspek sosial, ekonomi, dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini menganalisis dampak spasial KITB, termasuk proses, pola, dan struktur spasial serta implikasinya bagi perencanaan tata ruang. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif berbasis keruangan dengan analisis deskriptif, menggunakan data dari interpretasi citra satelit Sentinel-2A SR, survei lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis Average Nearest Neighbor (ANN) mengindikasikan pola alih fungsi lahan yang mengelompok (Z-score < -2.58), terutama di wilayah penyangga KITB. 15.1% (3.226.16 Ha) lahan mengalami alih fungsi lahan yang terjadi baik pada lahan vegetatif seperti hutan tanaman dan semak belukar maupun lahan terbangun, lahan terbuka, perairan, dan pertanian. Ketidaksesuaian dengan RTRW disebabkan tumpang tindih kebijakan dan lemahnya pengawasan. Maka diperlukan intervensi kebijakan untuk meminimalkan dampak negatif dan mendorong penyesuaian RTRW yang berimbang dengan pengendalian konversi lahan.
