Abstract

This study also aims to describe the validity, effectiveness of the development of differentiated teaching modules to increase students' creativity in making observation reports. This research uses the R&D (Research and Development) method with ADDIE's development steps consisting of several stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The assessment instrument used by the researcher is in the form of a validation and practicality sheet, then the assessment instrument is validated by three validators, namely content validators, language validators and graphics validators, then the practicality sheet is determined by practitioners. The results of the validity of the Teaching Module carried out by the validator team obtained an average validity score of 9% categorized as very valid. Furthermore, the results of the effectiveness test showed the completeness of students' effective student learning outcomes with an average score of 92%. In addition, the average score of the practicality test results by educators of 93.45% is categorized as very practical. The results of the development of differentiated teaching modules are very valid, effective, and practical in increasing students' creativity in making reports on observation results in Indonesian Language subjects.

Abstract

Weeds are plant disturbing organism that affect yields through competition and allelopathy. However,  not much is known about weed diversity in swamps, so research is needed to identify their types and compounds as a weed control strategy. This study was conducted using a survey method from January to March 2020 at the Barito Kuala District, South Kalimantan. Thirty villages were randomly selected from each of the eight chosen subdistricts. Out of the twenty-six weed species identified, there were ten species of grasses, seven sedges, and nine broadleaves. The results showed that the weed species were dominated by Cyperus halpan, Eleocharis dulcis, and Cynodon dactylon (L.), with an SDR of 23.46, 16.73, and 10.03, respectively. The analysis of GC-MS showed that the weeds contained four similar compounds: neophyte diene, palmitic acid, linoleic acid, and stigmasterol. The largest compound content in C. halpan was diisocotyl phthalate (48.49%), while in E. dulcis and C. dactylon the largest were o-phthalic acid and mono-2-ethylhexyl-ester (69.36 and 40.23%). Moreover, weed allelochemicals are classified into fatty acids, steroids, esters, and other volatile compounds, where some have the potential for allelopathy that inhibits crop growth.

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Most of the mineral soils in swamps contain iron and under anaerobic and low pH, Fe3+ is reduced to Fe2+ which is easily soluble and absorbed by roots. Excessive of Fe2+ cause toxicity plants which will interference various plant metabolism. Iron is absorbed by roots into the root tissue, then transported through the xylem to the shoots. Precipitation of Fe2+ in plant tissues causes excessive production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), especially hydroxyl radical (OH-) through Fenton reacion, thereby damaging cell structures, membranes, DNA, and protein in plants. This paper will discuss how plant can avoid excess iron in the root area. The root tip is the first part that will get iron toxicity. At the tip of the root (root cap) produces cells called root border cells (RBCs) which play a role in protecting the roots from abiotic stress. In flooded conditions, there is a release of oxygen into the rhizosphere by aerenchyma, or called radial oxygen loss (ROL) which will induce the formation of iron plaque. The formation of iron plaque will the interfere with the absorption of root nutritions. One of the tolerance mechanisms that occur at the root level is the exclusion evasion through the ROL barrier and the entry of iron by forming lignin in the root cell wall.

Abstract

Abstrak Surabaya merupakan salah satu daerah dengan penduduk yang berprosi sebagai nelayan cukup tinggi, terutama bagian Surabaya timur, tepatnya pantai pesisir kecamatan Kenjeran, yang banyak dikenal karena lokasinya dekat dengan jempatan suramadu. Berdasarkan catatan Profil Perikanan Kota Surabaya 2012 milik Dinas Pertanian Surabaya bidang perikanan dan kelautan, terdapat 2.226 orang penduduknya berprofesi sebagai nelayan yang tersebar di 12 kecamatan. Pada tahun 2011, hasil tangkapan nelayan bisa mencapai 7.119,89 ton, yang banyak diperoleh dari hasil tangkatan dari laut. Metode dalam kegiatan ini menggunakan metode survey. Dari hasil kegiatan ini, ditemukan beberapa gambaran, situasi struktur social dan kondisi dan persoalan, yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat nelayan, diantaranya, kepadatan pendiuduk, sanitasi dan lingkungan kumuh, cuaca alam yang juga menjadi penghambat bagi para nelayan untuk mengkap ikan, lapangan pekerjaan yang sempit serta ketimpangan social lainnya. Luaran yang diharapkan melalui program ini adalah modul pembuatan strategi penyelesaian masalah dan pengembangan keterampilan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan ikan, hasil tangkat dari laut yang berada di sekitar pesisir pantai kenjeran.Kata Kunci: Kenjeran, Laut dan Nelayan

Abstract

In learning Indonesian in grade VII, students must have writing skills as one of the language skills. Project-based learning with local wisdom content not only improves students' writing skills, but also enriches their insight into the cultural values ​​around them. This study aims to improve students' news text writing competence through the application of project-based learning models. This study uses quantitative and qualitative research types and involves 33 students. The results showed that 63% of class VII-B students of SMP YP 17 Surabaya achieved KKM 75 with an average score for writing news texts of 72.45.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a writing guide for observation report texts tailored to outdoor learning activities, integrating both observational and writing components to support students in composing structured and coherent reports. Employing the Research and Development (RD) methodology, the study follows a series of phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Validation was conducted through assessments by both experts and users. The validation results demonstrate a high level of feasibility, with expert and user approval ratings of 97% and 96.16%, respectively, yielding an average of 96.58%, which is categorized as “very good.” These findings indicate that the developed guide significantly contributes to the improvement of students’ writing competencies in the context of outdoor learning. Consequently, the guide proves to be an effective instructional tool to enhance the quality of observation-based writing in primary education, particularly at SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surabaya.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks laporan hasil observasi dengan menggunakan metode field trip melalui diskusi daring Google Classroom. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan tes pada teknik pengumpulan datanya. Objek penelitian ini sejumlah 20 siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks laporan hasil observasi termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata 85. Siswa dapat menulis laporan hasil observasi secara lengkap sesuai struktur teks. Akan tetapi, dalam penulisan struktur tersebut, masih terdapat beberapa siswa yang memiliki kendala dalam menyebutkan simpulan dan definisi umum. Kendala tersebut menunjukkan bahwa perlu peningkatan kemampuan pengembangan paragraf berdasarkan objek yang diamati. Selain itu juga ditemukan kecenderungan menulis judul sama dengan objek pengamatan atau tema.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memmiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui penigkatan pemahaman profil pelajar pancasila dengan menggunakan bahan ajar antologi cerpen Generasi Kreatif dan Tangguh pelajar kelas V SD Muhammadiyah 14 Surabaya tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), penilaian tindakan kelas termasuk ke dalam jenis pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah, pertama penanaman profil pelajar pancasila dengan menggunakan bahan ajar antologi cerpen Generasi Kreatif dan Tangguh. Kedua, peningkatan pemahaman profil pelajar Pancasila dengan menggunakan bahan ajar antologi cerpen Generasi Kreatif dan Tangguh terjadi peningkatan, peningkatan tersebut ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata nilai siklus 1 berjumlah 81,5 lalu bertambah di siklus ke 2 menjadi 91,6. Hasil pengamatan aktivitas pelajar pada siklus 1 berjumlah 57% (kurang), meningkat saat siklus ke 2 menjadi 87% (baik). Hasil pengamatan aktivitas guru dalam siklus 1 berjumlah 60% (kurang), meningkat juga saat siklus ke 2 menjadi 85% (baik). Ketiga, kelebihan dan kekurangan proses pembelajaran untuk penanaman karakter profil pelajar pancasila dengan menggunakan bahan ajar antologi cerpen Generasi Kreatif dan Tangguh.

Abstract

Current elementary education, the first decade of the 21st century, is faced with a global challenge where the pattern of people's lives is changing very rapidly, fueled mainly by the development of information technology and global challenges. Devotion to the community is offered to solve the problems faced by a group of elementary school teachers Petemon, Sawahan, Surabaya. Seeing the problem of partner of implementation method offered in dedication to solve the problems faced by teacher group of SDN Patemon IX are (1) Training of applying of learning model of Student Center Learning on Mathematics, Biology and Bahasa Indonesia subjects to SDN Patemon IX, (2) Evaluation of training result of SCL instructional model implementation in Mathematics, Biology and Bahasa Indonesia subjects to teachers of SDN Patemon IX, (3) Review and Assistance in the preparation of fourth-, fourth and fourth-grade thematic RPP, (4) Assistance in Implementation of RPP in Thematic Class IV, V and VI learning, (5) Evaluation of compilation result and Assistance of implementation of RPP in thematic learning of class IV, V and VI. Proposal method to solve the problem that has been formulated is divided into three stages: preparation, implementation and reflection. Strengthening teacher's ability in developing thematic learning tool based on Student Center Learning (SCL) at SDN PATEMON IX Surabaya, get very positive response shown from Reflection result at end of mentoring. To design a mentoring program that suits the training needs some things are needed in designing the mentoring.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah keragaman makna ungkapan bahasa yang terdapat pada deiksis sosial dalam kumpulan esai buku Republik #Jancukers karya Sujiwo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan fungsi deiksis sosial yang terdapat dalam kumpulan esai buku Republik #Jancukers karya Sujiwo Tejo. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh dari kumpulan esai buku Republik #Jancukers karya Sujiwo Tejo yang mengandung deiksis sosial. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tabel pengodean. Prosedur penelitian mempunyai empat tahap, yakni tahap membaca, mengidentifikasi, mengumpulkan, menganalisis. Analisis data menggunakan metode deskripsi. Hasil penelitian pada bentuk dan fungsi deiksis sosial meliputi gue sebagai bentuk keakraban, mbah sebagai bentuk penghormatan, anjing sebagai bentuk keakraban, jeng sebagai bentuk keakraban, mas sebagai bentuk penghormatan, mas sebagai bentuk keakraban, bung sebagai bentuk keakraban, bung sebagai bentuk penghormatan, jancuk sebagai bentuk keakraban, jancuk sebagai bentuk merendahkan, anjing sebagai bentuk merendahkan, gus sebagai bentuk keakraban dan ding sebagai bentuk keakraban.
