Abstract

On this study to review the rainfall-runoff modeling of GR4J (Ge'nie Rural a`4parame`tres Journalier) on Watershed (DAS) Indragiri Bagian Hulu. In this study using two methods:by modeling GR4J and length of the data elaboration method for calibration and verification. This GR4J models using input data including daily data of rainfall at the Lubuk Ramo stationand daily data of evapotranspiration potential is the result of a program CropWat within input data is climatological data at Sentajo stations, modeling results is tested using daily data of discharge observations on the Pulau Berhala station. This modeling to optimize four free parameters such as Maximum Capacity Production Store (X1) is 1200,00 mm, Coefficient Changes in Ground water (X2) is 3,00 mm, Maximum Capacity Routing Store (X3) is 20,00 mm, and Peak Time Ordinate unit hydrograph (X4) 24,75 days. In the second method, performed of calibration in certainly year and verification in thereafther. As a determinant of the model’s success is use dequation NashSutcliffe Coefficient (R2) and the correlation coefficien tmethod (R) to calculate the deviation occurs.Keywords : GR4J, Calibration, Verification.

Abstract

Providing clean water is a major concern, because water is a basic need and is essential for life and health of mankind. Sourced from the Long Term Development Plan (RPJP) Riau Province 2005-2025 that meet the needs of clean water for domestic Riau Province large part still rely on shallow groundwater and service of the Regional Water Company (PDAM). Rainwater is a source of high quality water which is available every rainy season and has the potential to reduce the pressure on the use of fresh water resources (fresh water sources). Rainwater coming from the roof of the house is usually the cleanest water alternatives that can be used as a source of clean water one of them in the District of Bengkalis. This study aims to find out alternative clean water that can be used in the District of Bengkalis and determine the volume of rain water storage and rainwater harvesting design plan or Rainwater Harvesting. In this research, modeling Rain Cycle 2 is a rainwater harvesting modeling that uses some of the data, the data are derived from primary data in the form of extensive data roofs society, data on the number of family members in the head of the family, and the data of showers field. The results of this study rainwater harvesting by using a holding tank depends on the ability of people in the District Bengkalis income as well as extensive holdings community yard individual scale to meet the needs of clean water which ensures the availability of supply of clean water with a limited number of tanks.Keywords : Rain water harvesting , Rain Cycle 2 , raw water

Abstract

The Artificial Neural Network (ANN) method is a computationally soft method that can predict water levels, one of them being for early warning of peatland fires. It is necessary to prove the performance of Artificial Neural Network (ANN) to predict the water level in Bengkalis Island, Riau Province. In this research, we use observation data using HOBOwater Logger level for 2014 data. Data usage was conducted trought time series of 1 day period with the maximum value, test and validation with Artificial Neural Network (ANN) Model is Backpropagation Algorithm. The result of simulation of water level in Artificial Neural Network (ANN) method in MATLAB software, yields statistical value of correlation coefficient (R) with very strong category. In the time series scheme the period of 1 day in maximum time to 24 hours (H1t + 24) produces correlation coefficient (R) of 0.995929. Abstract

There are several methods that can be used to predict discharge some future time, but the results still have relatively high error value. The use of models softcomputing a method that can be used to model a hydrological analysis such as forecasting discharge. Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) is one softcomputing models that have proven reliability in conducting hydrological analysis as to forecast the flood discharge, and long reservoir inflow of seawater intrusion.Reliability ANFIS models need to be tested in the analysis of hydrological especially to predict discharge.ANFIS models were built to predict discharge using the main data is data on Tapung river left in the year 2002-2012 (except on taun 2007). Then ANFIS foresees the discharge of each of the data sources and analyze the magnitude of the error forecasting results debit ANFIS models. Then the forecast results will be compared with the results of forecasting with ANN method.Results discharge by using ANFIS models showed excellent results with test parameter value statistical correlation coefficient (R) of more than 0.75 are included in the category of correlation is very strong. To forecast results debit ANFIS models, yielding a value of correlation (R) of 0.99 while the forecast results debit ANN method produces a value of correlation (R) of 0.94903.Keywords: hydrological analysis, tidal forecasting, softcomputing, ANFIS.

Abstract

Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) memiliki fungsi yang sangat penting, yaitu sebagai tempat penyedia air pertanian, industri dan pemukiman. Aktivitas manusia dalam memanfaatkan sumber daya alam hutan, tanah dan air untuk budidaya tanaman, pertambangan, pembangunan dan kegiatan lainnya dapat mengakibatkan terjadi perubahan kondisi tata air suatu DAS. Salah satu cara untuk menilai kondisi DAS adalah dengan menggunakan model hidrologi. Tujuan utama penelitian adalah ini adalah menguji kemampuan suatu model untuk melakukan penilaian terhadap kondisi hidrologi DAS Siak bagian Hulu. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Flow Persistance Model. Model ini mensimulasikan aliran sungai pada suatu DAS yang dikembangkan oleh World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) untuk membantu menilai kondisi suatu DAS. Data curah hujan yang digunakan dari Stasiun Petapahan Baru dari tahun 2006-2016, data AWLR stasiun Pantai Cermin yang mendiskripsikan pola hubungan tinggi muka air terhadap fungsi waktu bersumber dari BWS Sumatera III. Peta Tata guna lahan diperoleh dari BP - DASHL Indragiri Rokan untuk tahun 2014. Hasil utama penelitian membuktikan bahwa nilai FP sebesar 0.754 mengindikasikan bahwa nilai debit pada Sungai Siak yang relatip stabil selama kurun waktu penggunaan tata guna lahan pada DAS Siak Hulu tahun 2014 dengan klasifikasi fungsi DAS kondisi baik.

Abstract

This training and mentoring for the application of the composter is part of an integrated community service activity with Kukerta students at the University of Riau in 2021. This activity was carried out in RT/RW 03/09 Sidomulyo Barat Village, Tuahmadani District, Pekanbaru City. The purpose of this activity is to implement Komposter as processing organic waste into compost, reducing waste production and environmental pollution. The participants of this activity were mothers from housing residents as many as 65 people. The method used in this activity includes an understanding of making composter and compost from household waste. The series of activities consist of 1) exposure to composting; 2) Composting practices and how to use a composter, 3) Monitoring the composting temperature, pH and humidity. Through this training and mentoring activity, participants gain knowledge and experience in making composters to produce compost. Participants also feel that this activity can reduce waste, air pollution due to the smell of organic waste by using it as compost which is useful for growing vegetables or ornamental plants and can also reduce waste generation in Final Disposal Sites (TPA).

Abstract

The objective of this research was to develop an optimum model of water supply company distribution in Jogyakarta. Optimation was conducted to meet the need of water supply distribution from reservoirs to the service areas, so that the economical cost could be identified. This research used fuzzy integer transportation problem (FITP) model in the optimation process of water supply company distribution from Gemawang, Gedong Kuning, and Tegalrejo reservoir to service areas in North, South, East, and West Jogyakarta. This approach used transport models with Lingo program package version 8.0. Secondary data from Water Supply Company of Jogyakarta, which comprised reservoir capacity, amount of clean water needs of service area, and operating costs in each service area, were used. The results showed that the optimum water supply distribution cost was Rp. 1.591.320,00. The optimum distributions of water supply were 15.000 L from the Gemawang’s reservoir, 19.500 L from Gedong Kuning’s reservoir, and 17.500 L from Tegalrejo reservoir. Therefore, the cost was Rp.1.591.320, which was cheaper than the current cost of the Water Supply Company of Jogyakarta, which was Rp.1.600.000,00.

Abstract

The main purpose of this research was to develop a model of seawater intrusion forecasting in dry season periods at the estuary, which was caused by the influence of river flow discharge collision with tidal level using neuro fuzzy structure adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system, as the basic pattern that flow the water whenever it free from salt intrusion and also stop taking the water that is already influenced by salt intrusion. The results showed that fuzzy logic as a control process and artificial neural network as a forecast process using primary data of the measurment of salt intrusion’s length, the downstream river flow discharge, and the maximum level of tidal the river mouth area of Solo Estuary during the dry season period (from August until October). The model showed high accuration perfomance, which was proved by the mean square error value for the learning process of 0,00000354, model validation testing process of 1.799, and set value of plain waters condition for the next 24 hours range of 32 kms from the Solo Estuary.

Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to describe a correlation pattern between laboratory physical model design, mixing parameter and estuary type of the intrusion phenomena in estuary during the dry season. The main result of this research, according to laboratory physical model test was classified as stratified estuary type, with mixing parameter approaching one. This laboratory result was verified to former field research conducted in Kali Porong estuary in 2000. Determination of river flow characteristic at the estuary was done by simulating constant discharge of 10 - 100 m3/detik at the highest annual spring tide during the dry season. One dimension mathematical model approach of the Duflow software version 2.04, was applied. The result showed that there was dominant influence of tide to the upper river. Application of estuarine number (E) equation of Canter Cramer, Kali Porong estuary was classified as stratified estuary.

Abstract

The performance of the irrigation system management in Riau Province has not shown an optimal irrigation management function and irrigation conditions and functions due to budget constraints that have an impact on the performance of one of the irrigation areas in this province, namely the Uwai irrigation area. The purpose of this research is to get the performance value of the irrigation network system in the Uwai irrigation area and get budget optimization in the Uwai irrigation area. The results showed that the greatest assessment of damage to physical conditions in the Uwai irrigation network was found in the carrier channel RU 4, RU 5, RU 6, RU 7 left, which was 40% of the total channels and buildings and the smallest functional condition assessment in the Uwai irrigation network. found on channel RU 4, RU 5, RU 6, RU 7 left, which is 75% so that this channel is only able to serve 85.5 Ha from 342 Ha, 71 Ha from 284 Ha, 59.5 Ha from 238 Ha, 36.75 Ha of 147 Ha to be served. Abstrak Kinerja Pengelolaan sistem irigasi Provinsi Riau belum menunjukkan fungsi manajemen irigasi dan kondisi serta fungsi irigasi yang optimal akibat adanya keterbatasan anggaran yang ada sehingga berdampak pada kinerja salah satu daerah irigasi di provinsi ini yaitu daerah irigasi Uwai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapat nilai kinerja sistem jaringan irigasi pada daerah irigasi Uwai dan mendapat optimalisasi anggaran pada daerah irigasi Uwai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Penilaian kerusakan kondisi fisik di jaringan irigasi Uwai paling besar terdapat pada saluran pembawa RU 4, RU 5, RU 6, RU 7 kiri, yaitu sebesar 40% dari keseluruhan saluran dan bangunan dan penilaian kondisi fungsional di jaringan irigasi Uwai yang paling kecil terdapat pada saluran RU 4, RU 5, RU 6, RU 7 kiri yaitu sebesar 75% sehingga pada saluran ini hanya mampu melayani 85.5 Ha dari 342 Ha, 71 Ha dari 284 Ha, 59,5 Ha dari 238 Ha, 36,75 Ha dari 147 Ha yang harus dilayani.
