Abstract

This article aims to identify in depth the effective strategies in competency-based education evaluation. By using effective evaluation strategies, not only will the quality of learning improve, but students will also be better prepared to face real-world challenges with adequate skills. This study uses a literature review method, which aims to examine and analyze various scientific sources regarding effective strategies in competency-based learning evaluation. The results of this study indicate that evaluation in learning has a very important role in assessing the extent to which students have achieved the competencies set out in the curriculum. Based on previous research, it can be seen that implementing technology will help teachers identify student learning patterns and adjust evaluation strategies to better suit individual needs, so that competency-based evaluation becomes more accurate.

Abstract

Climate change has become a global phenomenon with significant impacts on the Indonesian economy, especially in vital sectors such as agriculture, fisheries, and infrastructure. This study aims to identify and analyze the effects of climate change on the Indonesian economy, as well as explore mitigation and adaptation solutions that can be applied. The method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach, which relies on secondary data from relevant journals and articles. The results of the study indicate that climate change results in decreased agricultural yields, threats to the fisheries sector, damage to infrastructure, and increased public health risks. All of these in turn reduce productivity and economic stability. In addition, this study found that the uncertainty caused by climate change affects investment decisions, thereby hampering economic growth. The innovation of this study lies in the development of an economic model based on systems analysis that describes the interactions between economic sectors that are vulnerable to climate change, and provides recommendations for more effective adaptation and mitigation strategies according to the local context in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penilaian autentik merupakan salah satu pendekatan evaluasi dalam Kurikulum 2013 yang berfokus pada pengukuran kemampuan peserta didik dalam menerapkan pengetahuan pada situasi nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelebihan dan kekurangan penilaian autentik sebagai alat ukur pemahaman peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian autentik mampu memberikan gambaran yang lebih menyeluruh tentang pemahaman siswa, karena melibatkan aspek sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. Penilaian ini juga mendorong keterlibatan aktif peserta didik dalam pembelajaran melalui tugas-tugas kontekstual seperti proyek dan presentasi. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala dalam penerapannya, seperti kebutuhan waktu yang lebih panjang, potensi subjektivitas dalam penilaian, serta perlunya dukungan sumber daya dan pelatihan bagi pendidik. Dengan demikian, meskipun penilaian autentik memiliki banyak manfaat, penerapannya memerlukan strategi dan kesiapan yang matang agar dapat berjalan secara efektif dalam proses pembelajaran Ekonomi.

Abstract

Evaluasi hasil belajar adalah komponen penting dalam sistem pendidikan yang bertujuan untuk mengukur sejauh mana tujuan pembelajaran telah dicapai oleh peserta didik. Proses evaluasi ini tidak hanya memfokuskan pada aspek kognitif, tetapi juga melibatkan aspek afektif dan psikomotorik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang konsep, prinsip, dan teknik evaluasi hasil belajar dalam konteks pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penyusunan kajian ini adalah studi pustaka, dengan menganalisis berbagai referensi teoritis yang berkaitan dengan evaluasi pendidikan. Hasil kajian mengungkapkan bahwa evaluasi yang efektif dan objektif dapat menyediakan informasi yang berharga bagi guru dalam mengenali kekuatan dan kelemahan peserta didik, serta memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara keseluruhan. Simpulan dari kajian ini adalah penerapan evaluasi yang tepat, berlandaskan pada prinsip-prinsip yang benar, akan mendukung tercapainya pembelajaran yang bermakna dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aimed to test the measurement and structural models of SOA fund governance constructed by participation, transparency, and accountability. A total of 348 respondents were involved in this study consisting, including the headmaster (n=20), teachers (n=76), and parents (n=252). Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed to respondents using Google Forms for four months. Data analysis used confirmatory factor analysis through Partial Least Squares-Path Modeling (PLS-PM), which assisted the Smart PLS. Testing the measurement model using construct validity and internal consistency reliability showed two items (P4-participation and A3-accountability) having loading factors that do not satisfy the criteria. Likewise, both items were excluded from the model, which impacted the acceptance of the model fit. Furthermore, testing the quality of the structural model using the goodness of fit (GoF=0.524) was more significant than 0.36, which meant the quality of the structural model was very strong and significant. The transparency aspect had the most robust coefficient, which signals that everyone regarding the implementation of SOA funds in schools freely obtained the disclosure of financial and academic information. Other scholars can explore the role of the principal, teachers, and parents in making learning successful in schools by optimizing the use of SOA funds.

Abstract

Abstract

Economic development in North Sumatra faces a significant challenge due to poverty.This study aims to assess the influence Open Development Index (IPT) and the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) on the Poverty Index in North Sumatra during the years 2008 to 2020. Employing multiple linear regression analysis, the study incorporates classical assumption tests to affirm the model's reliability. Findings reveal that IPT and TPT collectively exert a notable influence on the Poverty Index, boasting an R Square value of 0.815, which signifies that these two variables can account for 81.5% of the variations in poverty rates. On an individual basis, TPT exhibits a stronger impact than IPT, suggesting that a rise in unemployment directly leads to an increase in the impoverished population. The outcomes of the heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation assessments reveal that the regression model employed does not face significant issues, thus the analysis results can be regarded as reliable. This study concludes that in order to alleviate poverty in North Sumatra, policies must target enhancing investment in the productive sector, ensuring equitable access to education and healthcare, and generating quality employment opportunities. By implementing these strategic initiatives, it is anticipated that poverty in North Sumatra can be markedly diminished and community well-being can sustainably improve.
