Abstract

This research was written according to what was on the field, namely that the women's basketball extracurricular participants at SMA Negeri 1 Ciasem when shooting free throws the ball did not reach the basketball hoop, although there were a few who could put the ball in but did not understand the basics. This raises a question that makes the author want to know the relationship between arm and leg muscle strength and free throw ability in female basketball extracurricular participants at SMA Negeri 1 Ciasem. With a total of 14 samples tested and 1x meeting for the test. To find out the relationship between arm and leg muscle strength on free throws, the author used a correlational method to find the relationship. From the results obtained, arm muscle strength has a sig value of 0.463, and leg muscle strength has a sig value of 0.463. This is an answer that arm muscle strength and leg muscle strength are not significant because the variables X1 and This is caused by several factors, namely: 1. The girls' basketball extracurricular coach at SMA Negeri 1 Ciasem does not have a training program. 2. Balance. 3. Eye view. 4. Mental. 5. Height.

Abstract

Striped catfish tetraploid induction through heat shock that carried out in this study is not intended to produce on growth fries.But to form a broodstock to produce triploid on growth fries through cross breeding without any physical shock induction process.The fries from the heat shock induction in the previous study were screened or selected by observing the maximum number of nucleoli in fin cells.The number of tetraploid individuals used in the performance test was 105 which were placed in three different concrete tanks.The results showed that the growth of tetraploid striped catfish was more significant than diploid with a difference in the daily weight percentage about 0.497% and 0.158% for length but insignificant differences in FCR and SR.In gonadal development based on histological observations, it was shown that each tetraploid and diploid both male and female striped catfish were at the same level of gonadal maturity.Female gonads were at the previtellogenic oocytes and vitellogenic oocytes, but males are dominated at the stage of spermatocytes and spermatozoa.This histology also shows us that the female gonad was still at the development stage, while the male had entered the mature stage and ready to be spawned.

Abstract

The development of natural adhesives derived from non-fossil resources is very important for the future. This research aimed to develop natural adhesive from maltodextrin and compare it with other natural adhesives such as citric acid and malic acid for particleboard production. The effect of the adhesive raw materials on the physical and mechanical properties of the particleboards was investigated. The sweet sorghum and those natural adhesives were used in the manufacturing of particleboard. The resin content of the natural adhesive was 20 wt% base on air-dried particles. The dimension and density target of the boards were 30 x 30 x 0.9 cm3 and 0.8 g/cm3, respectively. The particleboards were prepared by hot pressing at 200°C for 10 min. The physical and mechanical properties of particleboards were evaluated based on Japanese Industrial Standard for particleboard (JIS A 5908-2003). The results showed that the density, moisture content, modulus of elasticity, and modulus of rupture met the requirements of the JIS A 5908-2003 standard, while the thickness swelling, water absorption, and internal bond did not meet the standard requirements. The results of FTIR analysis indicated the establishment of ester linkages due to the reaction between the natural adhesive and sorghum bagasse that contributed to the excellent physical and mechanical properties of the particleboard. Abstract

Persoalan hukum yang perlu dikaji ialah tugas yang diberikan kepada anggota diluar lingkungan kepolisian, menambah beban kerja bagi anggota polri yang berimplikasi pada kesejahteraan anggota brimob sebagai ajudan. Beberapa persoalan yang perlu ditinjau dari aspek hukum ialah (1) kesejahteraan anggota brimob yang bertugas, (2) psikologi anggota brimob, (3) terpakainya waktu libur untuk tugas institusi dan perlindungan hukum. tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis efektivitas pelaksanaan tugas pengawalan dan pengamaman brimob di luar kepolisian dikaitkan dengan Perkap No. 4 Tahun 2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yaitu penelitian yang menyajikan data dalam bentuk deskripsi. Dalam penelitian hukum, penelitian ini dapat digolongkan dalam penelitian yuridis empiris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas pengawalan dan pengamanan brimob sebagai ajudan diluar kepolisian didasarkan pada Peraturan perundang-undangan, Surat perintah tugas, Perintah langsung atasan yang bersifat mendesak dan cepat tanggap, Perlindungan hukum terhadap anggota brimob yang melaksanakan tugas. Hambatan yang dihadapi oleh Satuan Brimob Polda Jabar dalam pelaksanaan pengamanan dan pengawalan ajudan diluar lingkungan Kepolisian yakni hambatan internal yang berasal dari dalam Satuan Brimob Polda Jabar, meliputi sumber daya manusia dan sarana dan prasarana. Hambatan eksternal ialah hambatan yang berasal dari luar Satuan Brimob Polda Jabar, meliputi koordinasi dan tidak menguasai wilayah kerja.

Abstract

Online information exchange has become commonplace in today's digital era, especially in the health sector. However, this also raises concerns regarding personal data privacy, especially health data. This study analyses consumers' perceptions and practices of health data privacy protection. The empirical method is used in this research. The data collection techniques used were literature studies, direct observation, and interviews. After the data is obtained, it is analysed through the stages of reduction, presentation of data, and conclusion. The results showed that consumers in Jakarta have a high level of perception of the importance of health data privacy; consumers understand that health data is sensitive information that needs to be protected. The law regarding the protection of consumer health data privacy in Indonesia is Law No. 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection. Practices in carrying out the personal data protection function by officers involve providing information and consultation to those in control of personal data to ensure compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law, monitoring to ensure that the rules applied by those in control of individual data are by the provisions of the applicable requirements, providing advice regarding the impact of personal data protection as well as monitoring the performance of individual data controllers and coordinating and taking action on issues related to activities in processing personal data.

Abstract

Despite being regulated in Law Number 30 Year 1999, the effectiveness of arbitration in Indonesia still faces various challenges, such as lack of public understanding, high costs for small businesses, and limited arbitration infrastructure in the regions. Therefore, there is a need to evaluate and strengthen the role of arbitration to ensure that this mechanism can be a quick, fair solution and support business sustainability in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to assess the extent to which arbitration has been able to be an effective solution in resolving commercial disputes in Indonesia, identify factors that influence its success, and provide recommendations to increase its efficiency and trustworthiness as a fair and speedy dispute resolution alternative. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach to describe phenomena systematically and accurately. Data was collected through documentation techniques, analyzing various relevant documents such as reports, archives, or articles. Data analysis was conducted in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing validated through triangulation. The results showed that arbitration is an effective commercial dispute resolution mechanism in Indonesia because it offers a fast process, affordable costs, and a final and binding award. Its advantages include flexibility, confidentiality, and international recognition through the New York Convention. However, its optimization requires strengthening regulations and education to overcome challenges such as the lack of understanding of business actors and inconsistencies in the application of the law.

Abstract

Bamboo as a substitute for flooring raw materials is very potential to be developed because generally flooring is made of solidwood or other types of hardwood which have high quality but limited availability. Bamboo is chosen in the flooring industry, becauseof its distinctive and shiny pattern, and has a fairly high density. In this study, the flooring were made with various strips arrangementof horizontal (H), vertical (V), and combination (K) using Indonesian bamboo and coated with various number of water-basedfinishing layers (0, 3, 5). The bamboo flooring were tested referring to the ISO 21629-1 bamboo flooring for indoor use standardto evaluate the influence of the treatments on test results, and is expected to be able to provide recommendations for the preparationof SNI for bamboo flooring. The tests include the Modulus of Elasticity (MOE), Modulus of Rupture (MOR), stain resist,adhesion test, abrasion test, and hardness by pencil test. The result showed that the vertical arrangement formulation with threelayers of coating exhibite the best average score in this study with an MOE value of 162,603 kg/cm2, MOR 1,259.331 kg/cm2,adhesion test 2―4B, abrasion test 0.1149 g, and hardness by pencil test 2-4H compared to other formulations and teak flooringas a control. This bamboo product innovation is expected to be produced commercially and with good characteristics and can be usedas a reference standard in making Indonesian standart of bamboo flooring

Abstract

Kenaf is one of the plants fiber that deries kenaf stems into biomass waste. The utilization of kenaf stem waste could be usedas an ingredient for making activated charcoal. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of activation temperature on theproperties of activated charcoal and its pollutant adsorption capacity based on Indonesian Standart (SNI 06-3037-1995) ontechnical activated charcoal. Activated charcoal was made of hydro charcoal soaked into H3PO4 and K2CO3 for 24 hours, thenphysically activated at temperatures 600, 700, and 800°C. The results showed that all activated charcoal met the technical activatedcharcoal quality requirements set by the SNI 06-3730-1995 standard for parameters moisture content and volatile matter content,but only some activated charcoal could meet the requirements for ash content, bound carbon and iodine adsorption capacity. Activatedcharcoal formaldehyde, ammonia, chloroform, and benzene adsorption capacity increases with increasing activation temperature. Thebest activated charcoal by yield and the adsorption iodine using K2CO3 activator was at 700°C, and H3PO4 activator was at600°C, while the best adsorption activated charcoal formaldehyde, ammonia, chloroform, and benzene at temperature 800°C.

Abstract

Waste of sengon wood could be used as an alternative material in the manufacture of particleboards. However,particleboards made from sengon has seome inferior physical and mechanical properties, which did not meet the Japanesestandard (JIS A 5908: 2003). The aim of this research is to improve the physical and mechanical properties ofsengon particleboard using sorghum bagasse in various raw material composition using citric acid adhesives. Citric acidwas used as a binding agent with 20% adhesive content based on the weight of the air-dried particle. Compositionof fiber mixtures between sengon and bagasse sorghum were set in 100:0, 75:25, 50:50, and 25:75 wt.%. Thetargetted density of particleboard was set at 0.80 g/cm3. The hot-pressing conditions of particleboard manufacturingwere 200°C for 10 min. The physical and mechanical properties of the particleboards were evaluated according toJIS A 5908: 2003 standard. The results showed that the density, moisture content, thickness swelling, modulus ofelasticity, modulus of rupture and internal bond met the requirements of the JIS A 5908-2003 standard. Thus, theadditional of bagasse sorghum becomes an alternative way to enhance the physical and mechanical properties of sengonparticleboard. The addition 75% bagasse sorghum had better moisture content, water absorption, thickness swelling,modulus of elasticity, and modulus of rupture of particleboard.

Abstract

Rapid growth makes water hyacinth (WH) an exceptional biomass resource, but its low calorific value and elevated ash content hinder its application as a sustainable green energy source. This study aims to enhance the quality of water hyacinth as a solid fuel by increasing lignin content through composting and decreasing ash content by demineralization. The composting period for water hyacinth was modified to 4, 7, 11, and 15 days, followed by a demineralization process employing two solvents: water and 5% nitric acid (HNO₃). Proximate, ultimate, and chemical studies were conducted on water hyacinth before and following treatment to ascertain its specific alterations. This study indicates that after 15 days of composting, the lignin fraction increased from 10.01% to 15.14%. Demineralization employing a combination of water and nitric acid can substantially reduce ash content (19.4%). The demineralization of raw materials during composting is more efficacious in diminishing ash content than the demineralization of raw materials before composting. The most significant reduction was 46.17%, observed in the 11-day WH composting, where the ash content decreased from 22% to 11.84%. According to the results, modified WH is a viable raw material for solid fuel due to its enhanced lignin content and reduced ash level.
