Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of job characteristics and emotional intelligence on employee work quality at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of Bima City. Employee work quality is a crucial aspect in achieving organizational goals and is influenced by internal factors, including perceptions of job characteristics and individuals’ ability to manage emotions. This research employs a quantitative method with an associative approach. The population of the study consists of all employees at BPKAD Bima City, with samples selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that job characteristics have a positive and significant effect on employee work quality. Likewise, emotional intelligence also has a positive and significant effect. This implies that the better the perceived job characteristics and the higher the emotional intelligence of employees, the better their work quality. Therefore, management is advised to continuously improve job design and provide emotional intelligence training to enhance overall employee performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan iklim organisasi terhadap komitmen organisasi pegawai pada Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kabupaten Bima. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui kuesioner skala Likert. Sampel terdiri atas 36 ASN yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dari total populasi 101 pegawai. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap komitmen organisasi pegawai (p < 0,05), sedangkan iklim organisasi tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan. Secara simultan, kedua variabel independen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar dalam penguatan strategi kepemimpinan dan pembentukan iklim organisasi yang lebih kondusif di instansi pemerintahan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the positive and significant impact of transformational leadership and work engagement on employee organizational commitment in the People's Welfare section of the Regional Secretariat of Bima City. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The population in this study was 50 employees consisting of 35 Civil Servants, 2 Government Employees with Work Agreements, and 13 Regional Honorary Employees. The sample in this study was 35 civil servants with a sampling technique used, namely purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used validity tests, reliability tests, multiple linear regression tests, classical assumption tests, correlation coefficient tests, determination coefficient tests, t tests, and f tests with the help of SPSS version 23 for Windows. The results of the study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence of transformational leadership and work engagement on employee organizational commitment in the People's Welfare section of the Regional Secretariat of Bima City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of performance allowances and work discipline on employee performance at the Department of Community and Village Empowerment, Bima Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach with a Likert-scale questionnaire as the main instrument. The study population consisted of 62 employees, with a sample of 34 civil servants determined using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, and then analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 26. The findings indicate that performance allowances have a significant effect on employee performance, while work discipline does not have a significant partial effect. However, simultaneously, performance allowances and work discipline significantly influence employee performance.

This study aims to determine the positive and significant influence of teamwork and work facilities on employee work productivity at the Soromondi District Office, Bima Regency. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The population in this study was 58 employees consisting of 37 Civil Servants, 6 Government Employees with Work Agreements, 5 Regional Honorary Employees and 10 non-permanent employees. The sample in this study was 37 civil servants with a sampling technique used, namely purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques used validity tests, reliability tests, multiple linear regression tests, classical assumption tests, correlation coefficient tests, determination coefficient tests, t tests and f tests with the help of SPSS version 23 for Windows. The results of the study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence of teamwork and work facilities on employee work productivity at the Soromondi District Office, Bima Regency.

Abstract

This community service initiative originated from the KKN–Berdampak (Community Service Program with Impact) conducted by students of the Bima College of Economics (STIE Bima). The program was motivated by the limited product innovation, insufficient understanding of branding strategies, and the lack of digital technology utilization among food-based MSMEs, which consequently weakens their competitiveness and contribution to regional food security. The implementation methods included field observations to identify local food potential, socialization on the importance of creative business, product innovation training, digital marketing workshops, mentoring on design and branding, as well as evaluation and monitoring of program outcomes. The results showed improved participants’ abilities in developing creative food products, enhancing packaging and brand identity, and utilizing digital media for marketing. Through this creative and innovative approach, the program successfully encouraged MSMEs to become more independent, adaptive, and competitive in supporting sustainable food security.
