Abstract

The green economy is becoming an important focus of sustainability efforts and global economic strategies, influencing policy decisions, investment patterns, and technological innovations in various sectors. As more and more countries in the world are implementing green economy principles, the role of developing countries, such as Indonesia, is becoming increasingly significant. This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of 195 journals indexed in the Scopus database to map the path of green economy research in Indonesia and juxtapose it with global trends. Using VOSviewer for visualization, the analysis identified key research themes that are influential in a comparative perspective on Indonesia's contribution to the global green economy. The study also identifies gaps in the literature, particularly in areas such as green finance, circular economy, and socio-economic implications of the transition to a green economy. Addressing these gaps through international interdisciplinary and collaborative research could enhance Indonesia's role in shaping the global green economy agenda

Abstract

Instruction plays a critical part in the advancement of Indonesia, but there are still inequalities in higher education opportunities. This study looks at the effect of Brand Image, Cost, and Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM) on prospective students' interest in choosing a Private University (PTS) in Bandung City centred on Pasundan 2 Cimahi High School. This is done to analyze the effect of Brand Image, Cost, and e-WOM on interest in choosing PTS in Bandung City using a quantitative strategy with a purposive sampling method. Information was analyzed through validity, reliability, multiple linear regression, and F and T tests with an error rate of 5%. The results showed that Brand Image (X1) and e-WOM (X3) have a significant influence (p = 0.000 < xss=removed> 0.05). Thus, H1 and H3 are accepted, while H2 is rejected. This finding emphasizes that Brand Picture and e-WOM influence student interest, while Price has a smaller impact. This shows the importance of positive branding and computerized engagement for HEIs to remain competitive in attracting students. This research provides insights for educational institutions to develop strategies to address these factors and increase their attractiveness to prospective students amidst the increasingly fierce competition in higher education

Abstract

The capital market plays a crucial role in economic growth, serving as a platform for investors and companies to engage in financial transactions. One of the key factors investors consider when making investment decisions is stock price movement, which various financial ratios can influence. This study examines the effect of Return on Assets (ROA), Current Ratio (CR), and debt-to-equity ratio (DER) on stock prices at PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk over the period 2014-2023. This research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive and verification approach, utilizing secondary data from the company's financial reports and stock price data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The purposive sampling method was used to select data, and analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression. The study also conducted classical assumption tests, including normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, and autocorrelation tests, to ensure the validity of the results. The findings reveal that ROA, CR, and DER do not significantly affect stock prices, either partially or simultaneously. This contradicts several previous studies that suggested a strong correlation between financial ratios and stock prices. The results indicate that stock price fluctuations at PT. Macroeconomic conditions, market sentiment, and external shocks may influence Unilever Indonesia Tbk. In conclusion, this study suggests that investors should consider additional factors beyond financial ratios when investing in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. Future research should explore the impact of external factors, including inflation, interest rates, and industry trends, on stock price movements.
