Abstract

21st-century education demands the critical thinking skills of students. Education is also required to create a generation that is skilled at using technology. Electronic Student Worksheets (LKPD) is innovative learning tools to make it easier for students in the learning process. This study aims to describe the practicality and effectiveness of electronic LKPD expectations on the concept of Biodiversity. The research method used Tessmer's Formative Evaluation design, through stages 1) expert review; 2) one-to-one evaluation; and 3) small group evaluation. The validator was 3 experts, the individual test subjects were 3 high school class X students and the small group test subjects were 4 high school class X students. Data obtained from the research instrument in the form of an assessmet sheet of practicality and effectiveness of expectations. The results of the research on the practicality of expectations have a very good category based on the responses of students and the effectiveness of expectations has a very good category (including interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, and explanation skills) and a good category (including self-regulation skills) based on the assessment of students' critical thinking skills.AbstrakPendidikan abad ke-21 menuntut keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Pendidikan juga dituntut menciptakan generasi yang terampil menggunakan teknologi. Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik elektronik merupakan inovasi perangkat pembelajaran untuk mempermudah peserta didik dalam proses belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kepraktisan dan keefektifan harapan LKPD elektronik pada konsep Keanekaragaman Hayati. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain Evaluasi Formatif Tessmer, melalui tahapan 1) expert review; 2) one-to-one evaluation; dan 3) small group evaluation. Validator adalah 3 orang ahli, subjek uji perorangan adalah 3 orang peserta didik kelas X SMA dan subjek uji kelompok kecil adalah 4 orang peserta didik kelas X SMA. Data diperoleh dari instrumen penelitian berupa lembar penilaian kepraktisan dan keefektifan harapan. Hasil penelitian kepraktisan harapan memiliki kategori sangat baik berdasarkan respon peserta didik dan keefektifan harapan memiliki kategori sangat baik (meliputi keterampilan interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, inferensi, dan eksplanasi) dan kategori baik (meliputi keterampilan pengaturan diri) berdasarkan penilaian keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

Abstract

The use of instructional media, especially visual media, is very influential in student learning and learning outcomes. The teacher can develop visual learning media so that students can learn well fun and attract learning interest. Experts say that approximately 90% of one's learning outcomes are obtained through vision, 5% from hearing, and 5% from other senses. Development research aims to produce a valid leaflet-based learning media so that it is fit for use by students. This type of research was adapted from Tessmer's design, through the preparation stage (preliminary) and formative evaluation (formative evaluation) with stages only to self-evaluation, and expert testing. The expert opinion includes 3 validators according to expertise. Data was obtained from research instruments in the form of content/material validity evaluation sheets, and construct validity. Data collection techniques using assessment sheets. Analysis of data validity based on the Akbar category (2013). Based on the research results of the first meeting leaflet, the content validity value was 92.05%, and the construct validity was 98.61%. The second meeting leaflet obtained content validity value 92.65%, and construct validity 97.45%. So it was concluded that the learning media of the development leaflet was categorized as very valid.AbstrakPenggunaan media pembelajaran terutama media visual sangat berpengaruh pada pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa. Guru dapat mengembangkan media pembelajaran visual agar siswa dapat belajar dengan baik menyenangkan dan menarik minat belajar. Para ahli menyebutkan bahwa kurang lebih 90% hasil belajar seseorang diperoleh melalui penglihatan, 5% dari pendengaran, dan 5% lagi dari indra lainnya. Penelitian pengembangan bertujuan menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis leaflet yang valid sehingga layak digunakan oleh peserta didik. Jenis penelitian diadaptasi dari desain Tessmer, melalui tahap persiapan (preliminary) dan evaluasi formatif (formative evaluation) dengan tahapan hanya sampai evaluasi diri, dan uji pakar. Pendapat pakar meliputi 3 validator sesuai keahlian. Data diperoleh dari instrumen penelitian berupa lembar penilaian validitas isi/materi, dan validitas konstruk. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar penilaian. Analisis data validitas berdasarkan kategori Akbar (2013). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian leaflet pertemuan pertama memperoleh nilai validitas isi/materi 92,05%, dan validitas konstruk 98,61%. Leaflet pertemuan kedua memperoleh nilai validitas isi/materi 92,65%, dan validitas konstruk 97,45%. Sehingga disimpulkan media pembelajaran leaflet hasil pengembangan masuk kategori sangat valid.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum learning process includes three domains, namely affective (attitude), cognitive (knowledge), and psychomotor (skills). This study aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective Student Worksheet. The research method used is the Tessmer design, which consists of (1) Expert review; (2) one-to-one; (3) small group. Validation subjects were three experts, individual subjects were three students in class X in high school and small group test subjects were six students in class X in high school. The results showed that: (1) the validity of LKPD based on expert testing had a valid category with an overall average of 3.59; (2) the practicality of the contents of LKPD has a good category with an overall average of 3.70 and the practicality of the LKPD's expectations based on the responses of students has a very good category with an overall average of 88.70%; and (3) the effectiveness of LKPD based on the assessment of students' critical thinking skills in working on LKPD has both categories (including interpretation) and very good categories (includes analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation, and self-regulation). Interpersonal skills (collaborating) of students have a very good category with a score of 86.33% and intrapersonal skills (conscientious) students have a very good category with a score of 88.33%.AbstrakProses pembelajaran kurikulum 2013 mencakup tiga ranah, yaitu afektif (sikap), kognitif (pengetahuan) dan psikomotor (keterampilan). Penelitian iniobertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu desain Tessmer, yang terdiri atas 1) Expert review; 2) one-to-one; 3) small group. Subjek validasi adalah 3 orang ahli, subjek perorangan adalah 3 orang peserta didik kelas X jenjang SMA dan subjek uji kelompok kecil adalah 6 orang peserta didik kelas X jenjang SMA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) validitas LKPD berdasarkan uji pakar memiliki kategori valid dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 3,59; 2) kepraktisan isi LKPD memiliki kategori baik dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 3,70 dan kepraktisan harapan LKPD berdasarkan respon peserta didik memiliki kategori sangat baik dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 88,70%; dan 3) keefektifan LKPD berdasarkan penilaian keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam mengerjakan LKPD memiliki kategori baik (meliputi interpretasi) dan kategori sangat baik (meliputi analisis, evaluasi, inferensi, eksplanasi dan pengaturan diri). Keterampilan interpersonal (bekerjasama) peserta didik memiliki kategori sangat baik dengan skor 86,33% dan keterampilan intrapersonal (teliti) peserta didik memiliki kategori sangat baik dengan skor 88,33%.

Abstract

The development of the 21st century is marked by the development of technology and information, one example is the use of electronic Student Worksheets, which usually use paper worksheets, now we can find on the internet. Electronic Student Worksheets has become one of the essential learning technologies, especially during the current COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of electronic LKPD expectations on the concept of Animalia. Students are expected to be able to improve critical thinking skills through the implementation of electronic LKPD in the learning process. The research method used Tessmer's Formative Evaluation design, through stages 1) self-evaluation; 2) expert review; 3) one-to-one evaluation; and 4) small group evaluation. Data obtained from the research instrument in the form of an assessment sheet of validity and practicality of expectations. The results of research on the development of electronic LKPD are include in the valid category with a score of 3.78, the practicality of expectations is included in the very good category with a percentage score of 95.54%, and the effectiveness of expectations is included in the very good category on critical thinking skills of interpretation, evaluation, explanation, and self-regulation, while aspects of analysis and inference have increased to very good.AbstrakPerkembangan abad ke-21 ditandai dengan berkembangnya teknologi dan informasi, salah satu contohnya adalah penggunaan LKPD elektronik, yang biasanya LKPD menggunakan kertas sekarang dapat kita jumpai di internet. LKPD elektronik menjadi salah satu teknologi pembelajaran yang esensial, terlebih saat kondisi pandemi Covid-19 saat ini. Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan validitas, kepraktisan harapan, dan keefektifan LKPD elektronik konsep Animalia. Peserta didik diharapkan mampu untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis melalui implementasi LKPD elektronik dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian memakai desain Tessmer, terdiri atas: 1) self-evaluation; 2) expert review; 3) one-to-one evaluation; 4) small group evaluation. Data diperoleh dari instrumen penelitian berupa lembar penilaian validitas dan kepraktisan harapan LKPD elektronik. Hasil penelitian pengembangan LKPD elektronik termasuk dalam kategori valid dengan skor 3,78, kepraktisan harapan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dengan skor persentase 95,54%, serta keefektifan harapan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik pada keterampilan berpikir kritis interpretasi, evaluasi, eksplanasi, dan pengaturan diri, sedangkan aspek analisis dan inferensi mengalami peningkatan menjadi sangat baik.

Abstract

The development research was carried out using the 4D development model adapted from Thiagarajan. This research and development aims to create and develop learning media that can support the learning process. The website-based learning media for the Protista concept for tenth grade Biology High School is carried out because of the importance of technology-based media innovation in 21st-century learning. The learning media developed is a website using google site equipped with a combination of text, images, animation, audio, video, and a simply designed navigation bar. The research and development of this website-based learning media uses a 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), but this research is focused on the responses of students in using the google sites learning media. The results of student responses to the learning media website "DIEYA PROTISTA'' are classified as very good with an average response score of 4.50. This response shows that the learning media that was developed theoretically and procedurally has been suitable for use in teaching Protists in tenth grade. AbstrakPenelitian pengembangan yang dilakukan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang diadaptasi dari Thiagarajan. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk membuat dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran berbasis website pada konsep Protista untuk SMA Kelas X Biologi ini dilakukan karena pentingnya inovasi media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di pembelajaran abad 21. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan ialah google sites dilengkapi dengan penggabungan teks, gambar, animasi, audio, video dan menu navigasi yang didesain sederhana. Penelitian dan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis website ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate), namun penelitian ini difokuskan pada respon peserta didik dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran google sites. Hasil respon peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran website “DIEYA PROTISTA” tergolong sangat baik dengan rerata skor respon 4,50. Respon ini menunjukkan media pembelajaran yang dikembangakan secara teoritis dan prosedural telah layak digunakan pada pembelajaran Protista di kelas X.

Abstract

Learning in the 2013 curriculum has one component, namely the existence of teaching materials in the form of student worksheets. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of student worksheets based on critical thinking skills on the Protista concept. This study uses a formative evaluation design method from Tessmer. The student worksheet developed refers to the student worksheets structure according to Daryanto & Dwicahyono, while his critical thinking skills refer to Facione 1990. Subjects in expert review consist of three experts, subjects in one to one evaluation consist of three students in class X high school and the subjects in the small group evaluation consisted of six high school grade X students. The results of research conducted indicate that: 1) student worksheets have a valid category based on the validity test; 2) student worksheets have a good category based on content practicality tests and has a very good category on practicality expectations based on students' responses; and 3) student worksheets has a very good category based on the assessment of students' critical thinking skills on the effectiveness test and has a very good category on interpersonal skills (working together) and intrapersonal skills (thorough).AbstrakPembelajaran pada kurikulum 2013 memiliki salah satu komponen yaitu adanya bahan ajar berupa Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan LKPD berbasis keterampilan berpikir kritis pada konsep Protista. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode desain evaluasi formatif dari Tessmer Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik yang dikembangkan mengacu pada struktur LKPD menurut Daryanto & Dwicahyono, sedangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis nya mengacu pada Facione 1990. Subjek pada expert review terdiri atas tiga orang ahli, subjek pada one to one evaluation terdiri atas tiga orang peserta didik kelas X SMA dan subjek pada small group evaluation terdiri atas enam orang peserta didik kelas X SMA. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa: 1) LKPD memiliki kategori valid berdasarkan uji validitas; 2) LKPD memiliki kategori baik berdasarkan uji kepraktisan isi dan memiliki kategori sangat baik pada uji kepraktisan harapan berdasarkan respon peserta didik; dan 3) LKPD memiliki kategori sangat baik berdasarkan penilaian keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada uji keefektifan serta memiliki kategori sangat baik pada keterampilan interpersonal (bekerja sama) dan keterampilan intrapersonal (teliti).

Abstract

Electronic module based on PDF FLIP HTML5 is a form of presenting independent teaching materials that are systematically arranged into electronic format and make all the contents interactive. The purpose of this study is to describe an electronic module of teaching materials that can be developed about the concept of a virus in high school. This study uses the Research and Development method with a 4D model, that is limited to develop phase. The results of the validation of the developed electronic module are declared valid from an average validity of 83.87%. The results of the practicality of the response of 9 students obtained results of 82.02% and were categorized as very practical.

Abstract

E-handout is teaching material that are displayed electronically. One of the software used for e-handout development is Flipbook Maker. Mentioning the development of information technology, plus the proliferation of distance education, then the development of e-handout is one of the most appropriate choices. Moreover, its development is accompanied by Science Process Skills, so this development is carried out. This development research consists of 4 stages; define, design, develop and disseminate. This article contains research results in the form of values and descriptions of practicality test results. The research subjects were 9 practitioners from the State High School 8 Banjarmasin. The results of the study show that the e-handout is practical in the display aspect (score 88.88%), practical in the presentation aspect (88.00%), and practical also in the benefit aspect (88.21%). In conclusion, a product that is practically in line with expectations has been produced.

Abstract

Electronic modules are teaching materials, that arranged systematically, covering competencies that will be mastered by students and equipped with an attractive appearance. Sigil is an e-book maker with an epub output format. This study aims to describe practicality of the electronic module using Sigil application oriented the scientific approach to environmental change materials for high school level. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) which refers to the 4-D model. 4-D model consist 4 main stages; define, design, develop and disseminate. The subjects in this study were 9 students of SMAN 7 Banjarmasin. The instrument was a questionnaire. The results of practicality test obtained an average percentage of 88.54% (very practical), 88.00% in the display aspect (very good), 92.44% in the material presentation aspect (very good), and 85.18% in the benefits aspect (very good). Overall, it is very practical and can be used by students.

Abstract

AbstrakKemampuan peserta didik untuk berpikir kritis, menguasai teknologi dan informasi, berkomunikasi, berkolaborasi, dan menghubungkan ilmu dengan dunia nyata perlu ditekankan pada pembelajaran abad ke-21. Pembelajaran jarak jauh dilaksanakan sebagai suatu upaya untuk mengurangi tingkat penyebaran Covid-19 di Indonesia. Bahan ajar yang dapat digunakan oleh guru untuk mengatasi masalah pembelajaran jarak jauh salah satu nya yaitu Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Elektronik (LKPD-e). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kualitas LKPD-e pada konsep Ekosistem berdasarkan kepraktisan harapan dan keefektifan harapan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan desain Evaluasi Formatif Tessmer. Subjek uji validasi adalah tiga orang ahli, subjek uji perorangan adalah tiga orang peserta didik kelas X SMA dan subjek uji kelompok kecil adalah empat orang peserta didik kelas X SMA. Data kepraktisan harapan diperoleh dari lembar instrumen dengan memberikan respon Ya/Tidak dan keefektifan harapan diperoleh dari lembar penilaian keterampilan berpikir kritis melalui tugas dalam LKPD-e. Hasil penelitian kepraktisan harapan menunjukkan kategori sangat baik dan keefektifan harapan juga menunjukkan kategori sangat baik berdasarkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik (interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, inferensi, eksplanasi dan pengaturan diri).Kata kunci: Ekosistem, Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis, LKPD Elektronik, Penelitian Pengembangan AbstractStudents’ abilities to think critically, master technology and information, communicate, collaborate, and connect knowledge to the real word need to be emphasized in 21st century learning. Distance learning is carried out as an effort to reduce the spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia. One of the teaching materials that can be used by teachers to solve distance learning problem is Electronic Student Worksheet (e-LKPD). This study aimed to describe the quality of e-LKPD on the Ecosystem concept based on practicality expectation and effectiveness expectation. This research was a development research using the Tessmer Formative Evaluation design. The subjects for validation test were three experts, the subjects of individual test were three Grade X high school students and small group subject test involved four grade X high school students. Expected praticality data were obtained from the Yes/No questionnaire and the effectiveness data were obtained from students’ critical thinking skill assessment in e-LKPD. The results of the practicality expectation research show a very good category based on the students’ responses and the effectiveness expectation also shows a very good category based on students’ critical thinking skill (interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation and self-regulation).Keywords: Ecosystem, Critical Thinking Skill, Electronic Student Worksheet, Development Research
