Abstract

Developments in the 21st century in the field of education seek students to be able to think critically and be aware of environmental conditions. Phrases Think global, act local are sentences related to awareness of environmental conditions. The real form of the phrase think globally (think globally) is to develop a product in the form of an encyclopedia that contains information about biology, while the real form of the phrase act locally (act locally) is in the form of research conducted. The encyclopedia is a comprehensive collection of information on the morphology of the myrtaceae family in the collection of kebun raya banua. The purpose of this study is related to describing practicality. Development research model to improve and enhance previous products. Research development using Tessmer's formative evaluation design. Individual test (one to one evaluation), and small group test (small group evaluation). The personality test subjects (one to one evaluation) were three students who had taken plant morphology courses related to content practicality data, the small group evaluation subjects were four students who had taken plant morphology courses related to practical expectations data. The results of the development research show a practical encyclopedia

Abstract

Pendidikan abad ke-21 menuntut pendidik untuk meningkatkan kualitas perangkat pembelajaran agar mahasiswa memiliki keterampilan 4C dan berkaitan dengan frasa think globally act locally yaitu mempunyai karakter berpikir global bertindak lokal. Penelitian pengembangan diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk berupa ensiklopedia. Ensiklopedia merupakan buku yang berisikan uraian dengan disertai gambar, disusun dengan sistematis dan alfabetis yang dikembangkan untuk membantu melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Penelitian pengembangan bertujuan untuk memperbaiki atau meningkatkan produk yang telah ada sebelumnya. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kepraktisan ensiklopedia yaitu kepraktisan isi dan harapan. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian pengembangan Educational Design Research dengan desain evaluasi formatif Tessmer. Subjek uji kepraktisan isi adalah tiga orang mahasiswa yang sudah menempuh mata kuliah morfologi tumbuhan, dan subjek uji kepraktisan harapan adalah empat orang mahasiswa yang sudah menempuh mata kuliah morfologi tumbuhan. Data diperoleh dari instrumen kepraktisan isi dan kepraktisan harapan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ensiklopedia famili anacardiaceae koleksi Kebun Raya Banua dinyatakan praktis untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Most teachers agree to implement LMS for learning Biology, but some of them still have difficulties. Most of them thought that LMS helped reduce learning loss after pandemic covid-19. One of them is using a Learning Management system (LMS). CLDW (Culture Literacy Digital Wetland) is one of the innovations as a learning for students. CLDW helps students and teachers improve their activities during online learning, such as discussions. A flipped classroom with a learning management system Systems-based flipped classrooms produce positive learning. CLDW-Flipped Classroom was designed in two phases, namely: first phase; out-of-class was marked by students using CLDW as teaching materials, and second phase; in-class was marked by conducting face-to-face learning in class The research used quasi-experimental research with a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The population of all students in 3 schools then consists of students in SMAN 4, SMAN 7, and MAN 2. The students are class X high school. Sampling was done by selecting two classes that were used as the control class and the experimental class. It is concluded that there is a significant effect on learning outcomes from integrating CLDW in the flipped classroom for learning biology. Overall, using CLDW-flipped classrooms has an effect on improving learning outcome. Flipped classrooms create effective classrooms through interaction with learners. Moving some aspects of the learning process to create extra time for active learning activities through teacher-led class discussions

Abstract

Abstrak. Pada sekolah menengah pertama kelas VIII terdapat mata pelajaran IPA dengan berbagai istilah yang cukup sulit untuk dipahami bagi peserta didik, termasuk materi Sistem Ekskresi Manusia. Kesulitan pada materi sistem ekskresi manusia terletak pada struktur dan proses sistem ekskresi. Media pembelajaran yang menarik dapat membantu dalam mengatasi kesulitan tersebut, sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat terpenuhi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis web pada materi Sistem Ekskresi Manusia dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi  dan mengetahui tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran yang diukur dari kevalidan, keefektifan, dan kepraktisan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Research and Development dan model pengembangan ADDIE. Penelitian media pembelajaran ini menggunakan subjek sebanyak 16 orang peserta didik, 1 orang guru mata pelajaran SMP Negeri 14 Banjarbaru, dua orang ahli materi dan dua orang ahli media. Hasil pengembangan menggunakan teknologi pemrograman HTML, CSS, Javascript, Scratch, JSON, Firebase, Adobe Photoshop, KineMaster Premiere Pro, dan Netlify. Hasil uji kelayakan menunjukkan media pembelajaran telah valid dengan kategori sangat tinggi, respon peserta didik dan respon guru termasuk respon positif menunjukkan media praktis. Media juga efektif yang ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata N-Gain pada kategori sedang dan tercapai ketuntasan klasikal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan tersebut menunjukkan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA di SMP Sederajat. Kata kunci: Media  Pembelajaran  Interaktif  Berbasis  Web,  Sistem  Ekskresi Manusia, Metode Demonstrasi

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah upaya untuk mengembangkan kemampuan dan karakter individu melalui berbagai proses seperti bimbingan, pengajaran, pelatihan, dan interaksi dengan lingkungan. Pembelajaran abad ke-21 menekankan pada pembelajaran dengan pendekatan lingkungan yang berkaitan dengan frasa berpikir global dan bertindak loka melalui pengembangkan ensiklopedia di Kebun Raya Banua. Ensiklopedia adalah salah satu jenis sumber belajar yang memuat uraian berisi pengetahuan yang disusun sesuai abjad (alfabetis) atau menurut lingkungan ilmu dengan mengkolaborasikan teks dan gambar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memvalidasi ensiklopedia famili rutaceae di Kebun Raya Banua. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode EDR (Educational Design Research) dengan desain evaluasi formatif Tessmer. Aspek yang divalidasi mencakup koherensi, keterbacaan, kosa kata yang berlebihan, kalimat aktif dan pasif, melindungi nilai, aplikasi dan implikasi, serta gaya lain perangkat. Subjek uji pakar (validator) ensiklopedia adalah tiga orang dosen program studi pendidikan biologi Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Objek penelitian ini yaitu ensiklopedia famili rutaceae. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan validitas dikategorikan baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ensiklopedia famili rutaceae di Kebun Raya Banua dikategorikan layak (valid).

Abstract

Perkembangan abad ke-21 dalam bidang pendidikan mengupayakan mahasiswa untuk dapat berpikir kritis serta sadar akan kondisi lingkungan. Frasa Think globally, act locally merupakan kalimat yang berkaitan dengan kesadaran akan kondisi lingkungan. Bentuk nyata dari frasa think globally (berpikir global) adalah mengembangkan sebuah produk berupa ensiklopedia yang memuat tentang informasi seputar biologi, sedangkan bentuk nyata dari frasa act locally (bertindak lokal) berupa penelitian yang dilakukan. Ensiklopedia adalah kumpulan informasi yang komprehensif tentang morfologi tumbuhan famili myrtaceae koleksi Kebun Raya Banua. Tujuan penelitian ini berkaitan dengan mendeskripsikan keefektifan ensiklopedia dalam melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Model penelitian pengembangan untuk memperbaiki dan meningkatkan produk sebelumnya. Penelitian pengembangan menggunakan desain evaluasi formatif Tessmer. Uji perorangan (one to one evaluation), dan uji kelompok kecil (small group evaluation). Subjek uji perorangan (one to one evaluation) adalah tiga orang mahasiswa yang sudah menempuh mata kuliah morfologi tumbuhan berkaitan dengan data kepraktisan isi, subjek uji kelompok kecil (small group evaluation) adalah empat orang mahasiswa yang sudah menempuh mata kuliah morfologi tumbuhan yang berkaitan dengan data kepraktisan dan keefektifan harapan. Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan menunjukkan ensiklopedia efektif dalam melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa.

Abstract

Students' critical thinking skills are still very low. Development research is carried out to improve the quality of the product under development, namely the encyclopedia. An encyclopedia is learning material that includes descriptions and pictures to make topics clearer. Each statement is listed in alphabetical order for ease of use. This study aims to describe the viability of the Annonaceae family in the Botanical Garden of Banua. This study uses the developmental research type of instructional design research with Tessmer's formative assessment design. The personality test subjects were four students and the small group test subjects were four students who took the Phanerogamae course. Data were obtained from different research instruments on the practicality of content and the practicality of expectations. The results of the encyclopedic study of the family Annonaceae at the Botanical Garden of Banua on the practicality of the contents received a good category, because it received a very good category for its structure, attractiveness, and practicality because it is easy to use, and has received positive feedback from students.

Abstract

Education is an effort to develop individual abilities and character through various processes such as guidance, teaching, training, and interaction with the environment. 21st century learning emphasizes critical thinking skills and environmental approaches related to the phrases think globally and act locally through the development of encyclopedias at Kebun Raya Banua. An encyclopedia is a type of learning resource that contains descriptions containing knowledge and is arranged (alphabetically) or according to the scientific environment by collaborating on text and images. This study aims to describe the practicality of the Rutaceae family encyclopedia at Kebun Raya Banua. The research method used is the EDR (Educational Design Research) method with Tessmer's formative evaluation design. The one-to-one test subjects were three students and the small group test subjects were four students. The object of this research is the encyclopedia of the Rutaceae family. The results of the study show that the practicality of the content is categorized as good and the practicality of expectations is categorized as very good. This shows that the encyclopedia of the rutaceae family at Kebun Raya Banua is as expected interesting and easy to use to train students' critical thinking skills (practical). Kata kunci: ensiklopedia, famili rutaceae, kepraktisan, penelitian pengembangan

Abstract

One of the learning materials that is arranged alphabetically so that it is easy to use is an encyclopedia book. Encyclopedia development can train students' critical thinking skills in 21st century learning. This study aims to describe the practicality of the encyclopedia of the family euphorbiaceae. The research method used is Tessmer's formative evaluation design. The individual test subjects were 4 students who were taking the phanerogamae course and the small group test subjects were 4 students who were taking the phanerogamae course.
