Perkembangan abad ke-21 dalam bidang pendidikan mengupayakan mahasiswa untuk dapat berpikir kritis serta sadar akan kondisi lingkungan. Frasa Think globally, act locally merupakan kalimat yang berkaitan dengan kesadaran akan kondisi lingkungan. Bentuk nyata dari frasa think globally (berpikir global) adalah mengembangkan sebuah produk berupa ensiklopedia yang memuat tentang informasi seputar biologi, sedangkan bentuk nyata dari frasa act locally (bertindak lokal) berupa penelitian yang dilakukan. Ensiklopedia adalah kumpulan informasi yang komprehensif tentang morfologi tumbuhan famili myrtaceae koleksi Kebun Raya Banua. Tujuan penelitian ini berkaitan dengan mendeskripsikan keefektifan ensiklopedia dalam melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Model penelitian pengembangan untuk memperbaiki dan meningkatkan produk sebelumnya. Penelitian pengembangan menggunakan desain evaluasi formatif Tessmer. Uji perorangan (one to one evaluation), dan uji kelompok kecil (small group evaluation). Subjek uji perorangan (one to one evaluation) adalah tiga orang mahasiswa yang sudah menempuh mata kuliah morfologi tumbuhan berkaitan dengan data kepraktisan isi, subjek uji kelompok kecil (small group evaluation) adalah empat orang mahasiswa yang sudah menempuh mata kuliah morfologi tumbuhan yang berkaitan dengan data kepraktisan dan keefektifan harapan. Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan menunjukkan ensiklopedia efektif dalam melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa.

Students' critical thinking skills are still very low. Development research is carried out to improve the quality of the product under development, namely the encyclopedia. An encyclopedia is learning material that includes descriptions and pictures to make topics clearer. Each statement is listed in alphabetical order for ease of use. This study aims to describe the viability of the Annonaceae family in the Botanical Garden of Banua. This study uses the developmental research type of instructional design research with Tessmer's formative assessment design. The personality test subjects were four students and the small group test subjects were four students who took the Phanerogamae course. Data were obtained from different research instruments on the practicality of content and the practicality of expectations. The results of the encyclopedic study of the family Annonaceae at the Botanical Garden of Banua on the practicality of the contents received a good category, because it received a very good category for its structure, attractiveness, and practicality because it is easy to use, and has received positive feedback from students.

Education is an effort to develop individual abilities and character through various processes such as guidance, teaching, training, and interaction with the environment. 21st century learning emphasizes critical thinking skills and environmental approaches related to the phrases think globally and act locally through the development of encyclopedias at Kebun Raya Banua. An encyclopedia is a type of learning resource that contains descriptions containing knowledge and is arranged (alphabetically) or according to the scientific environment by collaborating on text and images. This study aims to describe the practicality of the Rutaceae family encyclopedia at Kebun Raya Banua. The research method used is the EDR (Educational Design Research) method with Tessmer's formative evaluation design. The one-to-one test subjects were three students and the small group test subjects were four students. The object of this research is the encyclopedia of the Rutaceae family. The results of the study show that the practicality of the content is categorized as good and the practicality of expectations is categorized as very good. This shows that the encyclopedia of the rutaceae family at Kebun Raya Banua is as expected interesting and easy to use to train students' critical thinking skills (practical). One of the learning materials that is arranged alphabetically so that it is easy to use is an encyclopedia book. Encyclopedia development can train students' critical thinking skills in 21st century learning. This study aims to describe the practicality of the encyclopedia of the family euphorbiaceae. Indonesia has high biodiversity, one of the plants that is widely distributed in Indonesia is Pulai (Alstonia scholaris), The Island is used as a traditional medicinal plant. Pulai trees can be found in the Danau Sari Embun area, Tanah Laut Regency and have the potential to be a source of learning, so the results of the Population Structure study are made in the form of a locally based PSB. This research aims to describe the structure of Pulai (Alstonia scholaris) in the Danau Sari Embun area, Tanah Laut Regency, describe the process of developing BIP. Population structure of Pulai (Alstonia scholaris) in the Danau Sari Embun area, Tanah Laut Regency, Describe the feasibility of the population structure of BIP Pulai (Alstonia scholaris). The method used is the RD (Research and Development) research method and the Plomp model. The results obtained by the number of Islands found in the reproduction phase and in the post-reproduction phase, thus showing a picture of the form of Srukpop, namely pot paintings, the PSB about Island Population Structure that was developed was declared very valid. So it can be concluded that PSB teaching materials can be used as teaching materials in the learning process.

Critical thinking is one of the 4C skills students need to develop to compete in the 21st-century. Learning planning is focused not only on strategies and human resources, but also on learning resources. Learning resources integrated with the values of critical thinking skills need to be developed and tested. A learning resource that has the potential to be integrated with critical thinking values and generally has an attractive design is an encyclopedia. This study aims to analyze the content practicality or attractiveness of the Fabaceae family encyclopedia book. This study is an individual test in a series of educational development research (EDR) using the Tessmer formative evaluation research design. The data sources are three students enrolled in the Phanerogamae course. Data was collected using a readability questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out in a descriptive categorization manner. The results showed that the attractiveness of the Fabaceae family encyclopedia obtained a good category. This shows that the developed encyclopedia meets the standards and has an aesthetic value that can help students develop their critical thinking skills. The value is also supported by its user-friendly and visually appealing format. This encyclopedia still needs to be studied further in learning activities to analyze the value of its implementation. Abstrak. Berpikir kritis adalah salah satu keterampilan 4C yang perlu dikembangkan peserta didik agar mampu bersaing di abad 21. Perencanaan pembelajaran tidak hanya terfokus pada strategi dan sumber daya manusianya, melainkan juga sumber belajar. Sumber belajar yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai keterampilan berpikir kritis perlu dikembangkan dan diuji. Sumber belajar yang berpotensi dapat diintegrasikan dengan nilai-nilai berpikir kritis dan pada umumnya memiliki desain yang menarik adalah ensiklopedia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kepraktisan konten atau daya tarik buku ensiklopedia famili Fabaceae. Penelitian ini adalah uji perorangan dalam rangkaian penelitian pengembangan pendidikan (EDR) menggunakan desain penelitian evaluasi formatif Tessmer. Sumber data adalah tiga peserta didik yang terdaftar dalam kursus Phanerogamae. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket keterbacaan. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kategorisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan daya tarik ensiklopedia famili Fabaceae memperoleh kategori baik. Ini menunjukkan bahsa ensiklopendia yang dikembangkan memenuhi standar dan mempunyai nilai estetika yang dapat membantu siswa mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritisnya. Nilai tersebut juga didukung dengan formatnya yang ramah pengguna dan menarik secara visual. Ensiklopedia ini masih perlu dikaji lebih lanjut dalam kegiatan pembelajaran untuk menganalisis nilai implementasinya.

Keterampilan berpikir kritis merupakan bagian kemampuan kognitif. Salah satu cara meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis yaitu dengan menggunakan LKPD-e. Lembar kerja peserta didik dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengalaman tentang pembelajaran karena LKPD-e yang dikembangkan memuat inkuiri ilmiah, sehingga keterampilan kinerja peserta didik akan terasah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan LKPD-e. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain evaluasi formatif Tessmer, melalui tahapan 1) self evaluation; 2) expert review; 3) one to one evaluation; dan 4) small group evaluation. Subjek uji pakar terdiri dari 2 dosen pembimbing dan 1 guru biologi jenjang SMA, subjek uji perorangan adalah 3 orang peserta didik dan subjek uji kelompok kecil adalah 4 orang peserta didik kelas X SMA. Data diperoleh dari instrumen penelitian berupa lembar penilaian validitas, kepraktisan isi, kepraktisan harapan, dan keefektifan harapan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar penilaian. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Validitas LKPD-e memiliki kategori valid berkisar 3.11 hingga 3.78; 2) kepraktisan dinyatakan memiliki kategori baik dan sangat baik berkisar antara 3.33 hingga 4, dan kepraktisan harapan dinyatakan memiliki kategori sangat baik; 3) Keefektifan harapan LKPD-e diperoleh hasil berkisar antara 72% hingga 100% dengan kategori baik dan sangat baik, dan keterampilan kinerja peserta didik mendapatkan kategori sangat baik.

Electronic modules are electronic teaching materials that are arranged systematically, covering competencies that will be mastered by students and equipped with an attractive appearance. Sigil is an e-book maker application with a product format in the form of epub. This study aims to describe the validity and practicality of the Electronic Module Using Sigil Application Oriented the Scientific Approach to Environmental Change Materials for Class X High School Level. The study is part of Research and Development which refers to the 4-D model, which consists of 4 main stages, Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The subjects in this study were 9 students of class X SMAN 7 Banjarmasin. The instrument used is a student response questionnaire. The results of the practicality test obtained an average percentage of 88.54% (very practical) with a percentage of 88.00% in the display aspect (very good), 92.44% in the material presentation aspect (very good) and 85.18% in the benefits aspect (very good), overall it is categorized as very practical and can be used by students.Keywords - Electronic module, Sigil application, Scientific approach, Environmental change

Abstract: In the 21st century education requires students to have 4C skills, one of which is critical thinking skills. Critical thinking skills can be trained in various ways, one of which is using teaching materials. The teaching materials developed in this study are Encyclopedia books. This study aims to describe the content validity of the encyclopedia of the Meliaceae family at Kebun Raya Banua to train students' critical thinking skills. The research is limited only with regard to content validation. This encyclopedia development research used the EDR (Educational Design Research) research method. The object of this research is an encyclopedia book. The subjects of this study were three experts as validators. The results of the validation test are stated in the valid category so that it is feasible as an alternative source of learning.Keywords: critical thinking skills; encyclopedia; meliaceae family; validation.Abstrak: Pada Pendidikan abad ke-21 ini menuntut mahasiswa untuk memiliki keterampilan 4C salah satunya yaitu keterampilan berpikir kritis. Keterampilan berpikir kritis dapat dilatihakan melalui berbagai cara, salah satunya menggunakan bahan ajar. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan pada penelitian ini yakni buku Ensiklopedia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas isi buku ensiklopedia famili Meliaceae Di Kebun Raya Banua untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Pada penelitian dibatasi hanya berkeenaan tentang validasi isi. Penelitian pengembangan ensiklopedia ini menggunakan metode penelitian EDR (Educational Design Research). Objek penelitian ini adalah buku ensiklopedia. Subjek penelitian ini yakni tiga orang ahli sebagai validator. Pada hasil uji validasi dinyatakan dengan kategori valid sehingga layak sebagai salah satu alternatif sumber belajar.Kata kunci: ensiklopedia; famili meliaceae; keterampilan berpikir kritis; validasi.

Critical thinking skills in the 21st century need to be developed including the ability to evaluate, analyze, and use information to solve real-world problems. To put these skills into practice, a tool enriched with practical information based on experience has been created in the form of an encyclopedia, supported by various aspects of critical thinking in an encyclopedia book. This is a book containing information about all sciences in the form of a series of articles arranged alphabetically by title. The purpose of this study was to determine the relevance and practicality of the contents of the Sapindaceae Encyclopedia of the Banua Botanical Gardens. This study focuses on the development of assessments using the Educational Design Research (EDR) model using Tessmer's formative design. Research has found that the validity of this encyclopedia falls into the category of "good" as it contains content that teachers and students can use and the systematic structure of the encyclopedia is excellent. Content practice evaluation results are classified in the "good" category because they contain content that is suitable for subject activities, the structure of the book is interesting and easy to understand, and they can train students' critical thinking skills.
