Abstract

Pemanfaatan limbah berfungsi menghemat sumber daya alam. Limbah ikan tuna dapat digunakan sebagai material komposit. Pada pembuatan komposit diperlukan proses sintering. Proses sintering yang sering digunakan ialah sintering menggunakan sintesis coprecipitation karena biaya yang murah dan proses yang sederhana. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh variasi suhu dan waktu sintering terhadap karakteristik (fasa, bentuk butir, dan ukuran butir) tulang ikan tuna. Rancangan penelitian yaitu kuantitatif dengan pendekatan experimental. Berdasarkan penelitian dan pengujian yang dilakukan, fasa yang baik, bentuk butir yang paling homogen, dan ukuran butir yang tergolong nanopartikel dan homogen adalah sintering pada suhu 900oC selama 180 menit.

Abstract

Occupational safety and health is very often ignored by small-scale industry players, either because (1) lack of knowledge about the causes of work accidents and (2) because of limited capital to obtain adequate work safety facilities. They think that these two things are problems that cannot be solved. To anticipate this incident, it is necessary to make efforts to prevent work accidents that can overcome the two problems mentioned above. Implementation of the theory of Occupational Safety and Health to prevent accidents at work is the best solution. The formulation of the problem: (1) is there a change in safety behavior towards workers after Occupational Safety and Health training (2) is there a change in K3 knowledge of workers after Occupational Safety and Health training, (3) Is there an effect of age on safe behavior towards workers after training Occupational Safety and Health (4) Is there an effect of age on the knowledge of K3 for workers after the Occupational Health and Safety training? The research method is Quasi Experimental. The number of samples is 31 workers. The results of the study were that there was no change in safety behavior towards workers after Occupational Safety and Health training, (2) There was a change in K3 knowledge of workers after Occupational Safety and Health training (3) There was no effect of age on safe behavior towards workers after Occupational Safety and Health training. and (4) There is an effect of age on the knowledge of K3 for workers after the Occupational Health and Safety training. Suggestion: it is necessary to do more research with a longer time.

Abstract

A workshop at a vocational school is vulnerable to the danger of accidents, especially at technology and engineering vocational schools, therefore the workshop must be managed by professional teachers who have adequate workshop management skills. Therefore, training for vocational school teachers regarding workshop management is very necessary to prevent work accidents for students during activities in the workshop. Training is currently being carried out among 41 productive teachers in the field of technology and engineering at SMK Canda Bhirawa Pare, Kediri. The training was carried out by the LP2M Community Service Team, State University of Malang. Workshop management training is carried out using theoretical and practical material. The training results show that the average competency score for the pre-test is 68.07; post-test score 90.64. So there was an increase in competency from before training compared to after training by 22.57.

Abstract

Diarrhea is the main cause of death globally. Diarrhea is a condition where liquid stools occur when defecating and the intensity is more than 3 times a day due to Escherichia coli infection. Factors that cause diarrhea are unsafe clean water facilities, water contamination by feces and poor personal hygiene habits. Diarrhea is included in the top 10 most common diseases in Malang City and the highest cases are in the Dinoyo Health Center area. The aim of the study was to identify the relationship between sanitation facilities, personal hygiene and E. coli content on the incidence of diarrhea. This type of research is cross-sectional quantitative with a purposive sampling method, totaling 35 samples. Data were analyzed by Chi-Square and multiple logistic regression tests. Bivariate test analysis resulted in a value of p=0.011 for sanitation facilities, p=0.007 for personal hygiene and p=0.000 for E. coli content. Meanwhile, the most influential variable is known, namely the content of E. coli in clean water (p=0.012) with a value of (OR=41.562; 95% CI 2.259-764.763). In conclusion, there is a relationship between sanitation facilities, personal hygiene and E. coli content with the incidence of diarrhea.

Abstract

Keselamatan dan Kesehatan kerja sering diabaikan oleh para pelaku industri rakyat, baik karena kurang pengetahuanya tentang sebab kecelakaan kerja maupun karena keterbatasan modal untuk mendapatkan fasilitas keselamatan kerja yang memadai. Mereka menganggap kedua hal tersebut adalah masalah yang tidak dapat diselesaikan, sehingga perlu dilakukan upaya pencegahan kecelakaan kerja yang bisa mengatasi dua masalah tersebut di atas. Implementasi dari teori Health Belief Model (HBM) untuk mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan kerja merupakan solusi terbaik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) apakah ada perubahan perilaku selamat terhadap pekerja setelah pelatihan HBM, (2) apakah ada perubahan pengetahuan K3 terhadap pekerja setelah pelatihan HBM, (3) Apakah ada pengaruh umur terhadap perilaku selamat terhadap pekerja setelah pelatihan HBM, (4) Apakah ada pengaruh umur terhadap pengetahuan K3 terhadap pekerja setelah pelatihan HBM. Metode penelitian adalah Quasi Experimental dengan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 31 pekerja. Hasil dari penelitian adalah (1) Tidak ada perubahan perilaku selamat terhadap pekerja setelah pelatihan HBM, (2) Ada perubahan pengetahuan K3 terhadap pekerja setelah pelatihan HBM, (3) Tidak ada pengaruh umur terhadap perilaku selamat terhadap pekerja setelah pelatihan HBM dan (4) Ada pengaruh umur terhadap pengetahuan K3 terhadap pekerja setelah pelatihan HBM.Kata kunci— health belief model, kecelakaan kerja, industri rakyat

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of information technology mastery and self-efficacy in fostering technopreneurship readiness among vocational students. Technopreneurship is a business field that utilizes information technology and presents a viable solution to unemployment. Meanwhile, vocational school graduates have a significant opportunity to pursue technopreneurship. To support these graduates’ readiness in the field of technopreneurship, it is necessary to equip them with information technology and self-efficacy skills. With these skills, vocational school graduates have the opportunity to become independent workers and create new jobs based in the field of information technology.The rapid development of information and communication technology high lights the importance of students’ mastery of this field. These skill sarenecessary for students to compete, beresponsible, and exhibit creativity and innovation. Additionally, self-efficacy refers to anindividual’s belief and confidence in their ability to influence their environment. It is a crucial factor in determining students’ readiness to work. By enhancing their self-efficacy, students can be motivated to establish new businesses based on information technology. There fore, this research employed a correlational quantitative method, focusing on vocational students in Buleleng Regency, with a sample size of 167. Regression analysis was used to analyze the data with two predictors. The finding sindicated that the mastery of information technology and self-efficacy significantly contributed to the technopreneurship readiness of vocational students. Abstract

SMK Negeri 1 Grati merupakan selalu mengalami perubahan yang dinamis dalam melakukan sebuah inovasi pendidikan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pasar kerja dan selalu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Stakeholder merupakan subjek (individu maupun kelompok organisasi) yang memiliki pengaruh (positif maupun negatif) dan kepentingan terhadap suatu kelompok (Hertifah, 2003). Stakeholders partnership yang diterapkan di SMK Negeri 1 dapat memberikan hasil yang maksimal apabila dilakukan beberapa cara pendekatan baik stakeholder internal (termasuk guru, pegawai administrasi, kepala sekolah) maupun dengan stakeholder eksternal (termasuk IDUKA, wali murid/orang tua, tokoh masyakat, organisasi kemasyarakatan, pemerintah). Strategi penerapan Stakeholders partnership dapat dijadikan alternatif pemecahan dalam menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan inovasi dan prestasi bagi peserta didik, guru, kepala sekolah di SMK seluruh Kabupaten Pasuruan dan Jawa Timur pada umumnya jika dilandasi dengan 3 (tiga) elemen pokok yang menjadi prepektif filosofi, yaitu: nature of reality, truth, and value (Miller:1986). Sehingga falsafah pendidikan kejuruan merupakan artikulasi atau perwujudan yang digunakan sebagai dasar asumsi yang meliputi kenyataan, kebenaran dan tata nilai.. Implementasi Stakeholders partnership dapat dilakukan dengan baik apabila sekolah dan stakeholder saling mendukung.

Abstract

Digital skills are crucial to accessing jobs, business opportunities, and information. The vocational school is vital in fulfilling Human Resources (HR) and future workforce candidates. Therefore, subject and learning media are needed to accommodate students' digital skills. The analysis methods are Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat (SWOT) and Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Cybersecurity is a desirable talent area of the future and is one of the digital skills competency areas. The results map the alignment of the scope of the Cybersecurity subject material and Vilanets learning media. These results can be used as a reference for the digital skills of students in vocational schools.

Abstract

This study investigates the factors influencing the achievement of competencies in the field of Fiber Optic Installation Engineering (TIFO) among vocational school graduates in Indonesia and their subsequent performance in the workforce. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the research examines the relationship between several key variables, including national examination scores, quality of infrastructure, teaching competence, and telecommunication systems subject scores. Path analysis structural equation modeling was employed to determine the direct and indirect effects of these variables on TIFO competency achievement and graduates’ performance. The findings reveal that the quality of infrastructure is the most significant contributor to competency achievement, accounting for 36.24% of the variance. Teaching competence also plays a crucial role, contributing 12.82% to the attainment of competencies. Moreover, the study demonstrates that the achievement of TIFO competencies significantly impacts the performance of vocational school graduates in the industrial sector, explaining 71.9% of their overall performance. These results underscore the importance of high-quality infrastructure and effective teaching in vocational education, highlighting their roles in enhancing competency development and employability among graduates. The study concludes that focused improvements in these areas could substantially benefit the vocational education system, aligning educational outcomes more closely with industry needs and enhancing the employability and performance of graduates in the workforce.DOI: 10.17977/jps.v12i32024p111

Abstract

The article describes a concept of health and safety to conduct research in Nanomaterial Laboratory in Two Public University in Malang, East Java, Indonesia. The utilization of nanomaterials in the world of education has been done in two universities in Malang, namely Malang State University and Brawijaya University. The nanomaterial laboratory as a means for research and development of nanomaterial science that often creates hazards and risks of work accidents for its users, but things that are often not realized. Dangers and risks of work accidents caused by the absence of standards. This research focuses on hazards and accidents in the nanomaterial laboratory using the HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment) method, which is then followed by a variety of independent variables. The population in this study were nanomaterial researchers at two universities in Malang. Based on the results of trials between respondents 'competency expertise with the level of risk of workplace accidents in the nanomaterial laboratory obtained p- value 0.00 (<0.05), meaning that there is a significant relationship between the respondents' scientific conservation and the level of work accident risk in the nanomaterials laboratory. Furthermore, the results of the study were also obtained between the research respondents with the level of risk of work accidents in the nanomaterial laboratory with a p-value of 0.00 (<0.05), meaning that there was a significant correlation between the respondent's research experience and the level of work accident risk in the nanomaterial laboratory.
