Abstract

Kata kunci: Brand awareness, Brand image, Electronic Word of Mouth, Brand trust, Purchase Intention.

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines how land is designated as no-parking zones and the efforts to suppress illegal parking in Lampung Province. Research Methodology: The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Results: Findings show ten areas where parking is prohibited: on bends, shoulders, or bridges; pedestrian or bicycle tracks; near traffic lights; main roads; in front of or close to stopped vehicles; within 6 m of intersections; within 9 m of bus stops (unless damaged); within 3 m of fire hydrants or areas hindering fire-fighting access; along slippery roads; on overpasses, tunnels, or their approaches; and on grass verges or shoulders. To address illegal parking, the Lampung Province Transportation Agency has taken several measures: mapping parking zones, improving management to support traffic flow and local revenue (PAD), fostering community and government awareness, providing guidance to ensure proper management, and enforcing sanctions. However, emphasis is placed more on education and guidance than punishment. Conclusions: Effective parking management, supported by public awareness, government intervention, and structured regulations, is essential for traffic safety and efficiency. Limitations: The study is limited to Lampung Province and uses descriptive data, restricting broader generalization. Contribution: This research offers practical insights for regional governments to improve traffic order through structured parking management and emphasizes the role of education and community awareness in reducing illegal parking.

Abstract

Stunting remains a critical global health challenge, yet the role of Primary Health Care (PHC) facility leadership in driving nutritional outcomes through community health worker (CHW) pathways remains poorly synthesized. This systematic review aims to examine leadership models employed by PHC facility heads and their association with stunting reduction, mediated by CHW performance and maternal health behavior change. A systematic search of PubMed, Scopus, and Elsevier databases was conducted following PRISMA guidelines. Original research articles examining PHC leadership, CHW supervision, and nutritional outcomes in children under five were included. Studies lacking leadership variables or stunting-related outcomes were excluded. Quality assessment utilized standardized appraisal tools. Twelve studies met inclusion criteria. Supportive supervision (9/12), training investment (10/12), stakeholder coordination (8/12), and resource mobilization (7/12) were key leadership characteristics associated with improved outcomes. Transformational leadership enhanced CHW motivation, task completion, and retention. A mediating pathway was identified: effective leadership improved CHW performance, which enhanced maternal antenatal care utilization, dietary diversity, and breastfeeding practices, contributing to stunting reduction. PHC leadership serves a catalytic function in stunting reduction through CHW capacity strengthening and community engagement. This review uniquely delineates the leadership–CHW–maternal behavior–stunting causal pathway, addressing a critical gap in implementation science. Future studies should employ longitudinal designs measuring leadership interventions' direct impact on anthropometric outcomes, and develop validated instruments for assessing PHC leadership competencies in low-resource settings.

Abstract

TikTok Live Shopping has revolutionized social commerce, yet the joint impact of external marketing and internal values on consumer intentions remains under-explored. This study examines the roles of social media marketing (SMM) and materialism in driving purchase intentions for TikTok Live Shopping, mediated by impulse buying. Utilizing a quantitative, cross-sectional design, data were collected via questionnaires from 143 business students selected through simple random sampling. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) was employed to test the hypotheses. The structural model reveals that SMM (β=0.385) and materialism (β=0.356) significantly trigger impulse buying. Furthermore, impulse buying exerts the strongest direct impact on purchase intention (β=0.412) and successfully mediates both SMM (β=0.159) and materialism (β=0.147) pathways. Unlike traditional static e-commerce studies, this research offers a novelty approach by integrating the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) framework to demonstrate how real-time, high-FOMO digital marketing interacts with internal psychological traits to accelerate impulse-driven transactions. Practically, social commerce managers must transition from passive broadcasting to interactive, relationship-driven hosting. Theoretically, the study warns that modern social commerce platforms can exploit materialistic vulnerabilities, highlighting the urgent need for consumer digital well-being education.

Abstract

Background: Financial well-being among lecturers in private higher education institutions has become an important concern, particularly in developing countries where many lecturers receive relatively low salaries despite carrying substantial academic responsibilities. Financial well-being is essential not only for individual quality of life but also for maintaining productivity, job satisfaction, and institutional performance. However, empirical evidence regarding the determinants of financial well-being among private university lecturers remains limited. This study aims to examine the influence of financial literacy, financial behavior, retirement planning, and income on the financial well-being of lecturers in private higher education institutions. Methods: This study employed a quantitative research design using a cross-sectional survey approach. Data were collected from 310 lecturers working at private higher education institutions through an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. The measurement instruments were adapted from established scales in the financial well-being literature. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to evaluate the measurement model and test the proposed structural relationships among variables. Results: The findings reveal that income is the strongest predictor of lecturers’ financial well-being (β = 0.543), followed by financial literacy (β = 0.442) and financial behavior (β = 0.264). The results indicate that lecturers with higher income levels, better financial knowledge, and healthier financial management practices tend to experience greater financial well-being. These findings highlight the importance of both economic resources and financial capability in shaping individual financial outcomes. Conclusion: The study concludes that improving lecturers’ financial well-being requires a multidimensional approach involving income enhancement, financial literacy development, and the promotion of positive financial behavior. Policymakers, higher education institutions, and relevant stakeholders should collaborate to provide financial education programs, retirement planning support, and policies aimed at improving lecturers’ economic conditions. Such initiatives can contribute to achieving sustainable financial well-being and improving the overall quality of academic life among private university lecturers.

Abstract

Purpose: This study explains how leadership commitment and intellectual capital are converted into private university performance through collaborative capability and competitive advantage. Research Methodology: A quantitative, explanatory, cross-sectional survey was conducted among private higher education institutions supervised by LLDikti Region II in Southern Sumatra, Indonesia. Proportionate stratified random sampling selected 39 institutions from a population of 160. Data from 395 leaders and managerial personnel were collected using five-point Likert scales and analyzed with structural equation modeling in LISREL 8.80. Results: The model explained 80% of the variance in collaborative capability, 84% in competitive advantage, and 88% in institutional performance. Leadership commitment did not significantly predict collaborative capability or competitive advantage, although it had a positive direct effect on performance. Intellectual capital significantly predicted all three outcomes. Collaborative capability strengthened competitive advantage but had no significant direct effect on performance, while competitive advantage was the strongest predictor of performance. Conclusions: Strategic resources generate institutional outcomes when they are organized into stakeholder-valued advantages. Limitations: The cross-sectional, single-source design and regional setting limit causal and broader generalization. Contributions: The study extends resource-based and dynamic-capability reasoning by identifying collaborative capability as a resource-conversion mechanism and offers practical priorities for capability building in private higher education.

Abstract

This study develops and empirically tests a conceptual framework explaining how work engagement influences Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in higher education institutions, with Psychological Capital (PsyCap) as a moderating variable. The study is important because higher education institutions increasingly depend on faculty members who are willing to demonstrate discretionary behaviors beyond formal job requirements to enhance institutional effectiveness, adaptability, and long-term competitiveness. Drawing on the Resource-Based View (RBV) and Social Exchange Theory (SET), PsyCap comprising hope, efficacy, resilience, and optimism is positioned as a strategic internal resource that strengthens the translation of engagement into sustained discretionary behaviors. Using SmartPLS 4, data from 262 faculty members across private universities in Lahat, Palembang, and Pagar Alam were analyzed. Results show that work engagement significantly predicts OCB (t = 2.494, p = 0.013), while PsyCap alone does not exert a direct effect (t = 0.473, p = 0.636). However, the interaction term PsyCap × Work Engagement demonstrates a strong moderating effect (t = 5.82, p = 0.000), with R² = 0.913 and f² = 0.319, confirming excellent predictive accuracy. These findings highlight PsyCap as strategic capital that amplifies engagement into citizenship behaviors, offering theoretical enrichment and practical implications for institutional resilience and competitiveness.
