Abstract

Di era sekarang ini banyak masyarakat kurang puas akan performa sepeda motor mereka saat berakselerasi. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan throttle body racing terhadap performa mesin yang dihasilkan sepeda motor. Objek penelitian ini adalah sepeda motor aerox tahun 2019. Penelitian ini memakai metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif,, instrument pengujian daya dan torsi menggunakan alat dynamometer. Hasil penelitian pada throttle body racing terdapat peningkatan daya dan torsi, yaitu pengujian pada throttle body standar daya diperoleh yaitu 10,47 HP, sedangkan pada throttle body racing daya di peroleh yaitu 11,77 HP, sehingga daya meningkat sebesar  12,38% dengan selisih 1,29 hp, dan torsi pengujian pada throttle body standar terhadap torsi diperoleh yaitu 10,49 Nm sedangkan pada throttle body racing diperoleh yaitu 10,89 Nm sehingga torsi meningkat sebesar 3,81% dengan selisih 0,4 Nm. In this era, many people are not satisfied with the performance of their motorbikes when accelerating. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the use of a racing throttle body has on the engine performance produced by a motorcycle. The object of this research is the 2019 aerox motorcycle. This research uses experimental methods with a quantitative approach, descriptive type, power and torque testing instruments using a dynamometer tool. The results of the research on throttle body racing there is an increase in power and torque, namely testing on the standard throttle body the power obtained is 10.47 HP, while on the throttle body racing the power obtained is 11.77 HP, so the power increases by 12.38% with a difference of 1.29 hp, and the test torque on the standard throttle body to the torque obtained is 10.49 Nm while on the throttle body racing obtained is 10.89 Nm so that the torque increases by 3.81% with a difference of 0.4 Nm.

Abstract

Salah satu modifikasi yang dilakukan masyarakat untuk meningkatkan mesin pada sepeda motornya adalah penambahan piggyback. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan piggyback fuel adjuster iquteche pada performa mesin dan pembukaan injektor. Variasi piggyback yang digunakan adalah 5%,10% dan 15%. Hasil Penelitian penurunan terbesar emisi gas buang CO dan HC putaran idle pada variasi 10% sebesar 20,55% dan 35,11%, putaran torsi maksimum pada 15% sebesar 69,13% dan 52,92%, putaran daya maksimum pada variasi 15% juga sebesar 71,01% dan 75,62%. Peningkatan CO2 putaran idle,torsi maksimum, dan daya maksimum pada variasi 15% sebesar 36,82%,9,76% dan 44,87%. Peningkatan daya terbesar pada variasi 15% sebesar 5,10%, peningkatan torsi terbesar pada variasi 10% sebesar 4,34%. Sedangkan pembukaan injektor terbesar variasi 15% saat putaran idle sebesar 13,46% jika dibandingakan dengan kondisi standar. Many people modify motorcycles, one of which is the modification of the addition of piggyback. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using piggyback fuel adjuster iquteche on engine performance and injector opening. The piggyback variations used are 5%, 10% and 15%. The results of the study showed the largest decrease in CO and HC exhaust emissions at idle rotation at 10% variation by 35.11% and 20.55%, maximum torque rotation at 15% by 69.13% and 52.92%, maximum power rotation at 15% variation also by 71.01% and 75.62%. Increase in idle rotation CO2, maximum torque, and maximum power at 15% variations of 36.82%, 9.76% and 44.87%. The largest increase in power at the 15% variation was 5.10%, the largest increase in torque at the 10% variation at 4.34%. While the largest injector opening variation of 15% at idle rotation is 13.46 when compared to standard conditions.

Abstract

Studi ini dilaksanakan untuk meninjau seberapa pengaruh peran guru kejuruan terhadap kesiapan prakerin siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah kuantitatif bersifat korelasional. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 60 siswa dengan sampel sebanyak 60 sampel dengan teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling. Pengambilan data dengan memberikan kuesioner pada siswa kelas XI TKR. Data kuesioner diberikan berupa data kuesioner pengaruh peran guru kejuruan terhadap kesiapan prakerin siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat peranan guru kejuruan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan prakerin siswa di SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Maka dinyatakan bahwa peran guru kejuruan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan prakerin siwa di SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh This study was carried out to review how influential the role of vocational teachers is on students' internship readiness. The method used in this research is quantitative, correlational. The subjects of this research were 60 students with a sample of 60 samples using a total sampling technique. Data collection was done by giving questionnaires to class XI TKR students. Questionnaire data is provided in the form of questionnaire data on the influence of the role of vocational teachers on students' vocational internship readiness. Based on the research results, it is found that the role of vocational teachers has a significant influence on the readiness of students at SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh. The results of this research obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. So it can be said that the role of vocational teachers has a significant influence on the readiness of students at SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh.

Abstract

Bahan bakar kendaraan hidrogen-listrik agar dapat digunakan, harus melalui proses pemisahan molekul air (elektrolisis) menjadi hidrogen dan oksigen. Pada penelitian sebelumnya, tegangan dan arus yang dihasilkan masih kecil dan membutuhkan catu daya yang lebih besar. Dengan menambahkan variasi gear yang berbeda pada sisi generator akan mempengaruhi tegangan dan arus yang dihasilkan sehingga nantinya bisa lebih baik atau lebih buruk. Metode tersebut merupakan metode eksperimental pinion yang diuji pada kecepatan 40 km, 50 km, 60 km dan 70 km/jam. Hasil pengujian tegangan pada kecepatan 40 km, 50 km, 60 km dan 70 km/jam diperoleh  3,1 V tegangannya  dan 0,07 A yang diperoleh saat kecepatan 40 km/jam, kemudian 4,0 V tegangan dan 0,27 A arus yang peroleh saat kecepatan 50 km/jam, 4, 9 V dan 0,36 A pada 60 Km/Jam dan 5,9 V serta arus 0,43 A pada 70 Km/Jam. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh maka proses elektrolitik dapat dilakukan karena prosesnya memerlukan tegangan sebesar 5,8 V. To be usable, hydrogen-electric vehicle fuel must go through a separation process a water molecule verification process (electrolysis) to become hydrogen and oxygen. In previous research, the resulting voltage and current were small and required a larger power supply. By adding different gear variations on the generator side, it will affect the voltage and current produced so that later it can be better or worse. This method is an experimental pinion method that was tested at speeds of 40 km, 50 km, 60 km and 70 km/hour. The results of the voltage test at speeds of 40 km, 50 km, 60 km and 70 km/hour obtained a voltage of 3.1 V and 0.07 A which was obtained at a speed of 40 km/hour, then a voltage of 4.0 V and a current of 0.27 A obtained at a speed of 50 km/hour, 4.9 V and 0.36 A at 60 Km/hour and 5.9 V and a current of 0.43 A at 70 Km/hour. Based on the average value obtained, the electrolytic process can be performed because the process requires a voltage of 5.8 V.

Abstract

This study explores the construction of a smoke machine for visualizing air movement in a wind tunnel. The device produces synthetic smoke using a flat nickel wire heating mechanism to heat liquid glycerin. During the test, three coils were selected to produces the smoke namely flat nickel wire, each with a resistance of 3.5 Ω. A power supply adapter with a 220V DC input and 24V 10A output powers the device. Glycerin liquid is used as the heating medium due to its safety and compatibility with the machine and wind tunnel equipment. The equipment heats 200 ml of glycerin, evaporating it in about 2-3 minutes to produce sufficient smoke. According to research, the device can operate for 4 minutes, allowing the observation of air movements in the wind tunnel using a slow-motion camera. Penelitian ini membahas tentang proses pembuatan alat smoke machine pada wind tunnel sebagai visualisasi aliran udara. Alat ini digunakan sebagai alat penghasil asap buatan (smoke). Peneliti merancang alat menggunakan alat pemanas tipe kawat nikel pipih dengan memanaskan cairan glycerin. Dari percobaan yang telah dilakukan peneliti memutuskan menggunakan 3 buah lilitan kawat nikel pipih dengan tahanan 3,5 Ω. Untuk arus supply menggunakan adaptor power supply dengan input 220V DC output 24V 10A dan menggunakan cairan glycerin yang akan dipanaskan, dikarenakan cairan ini aman untuk digunakan dan tidak menyebabkan kerusakan pada alat smoke machine maupun wind tunnel. Prinsip kerja alat ini yaitu memanaskan cairan glycerin sebanyak 200 ml sehingga menguap yang membutuhkan waktu sekitar 2-4 untuk menghasilkan asap yang baik dan bagus. Dari hasil penelitian alat ini dapat digunakan selama 4 menit menggunakan kamera slow motion di wind tunnel dalam proses visualisasi aliran udara.

Abstract

Learning requires supporting materials in the form of reliable teaching materials, one of which can be a learning module. Therefore, it is necessary to add project-based learning modules in diesel motor courses to develop existing modules. This study aimed to measure the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of developing project-based diesel motor course learning modules. This research is included in the type of research and development (R&D). The model used in this study uses the ADDIE principle, data collection methods through questionnaires and learning outcomes tests, data analysis is processed using a quantitative approach from the application of the module and described through a qualitative approach to conclude the results of the study, the research subject consists of lecturers and students majoring in automotive engineering. The results of the research on the development of PjBl-based modules meet the feasibility of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. In its implementation, the results of the analysis of the validity aspect of the module development from the validator are 88.07% with very valid criteria, and the practicality aspect of the module development scores 86.92% with very practical criteria. The effectiveness aspect of module development is seen from the knowledge and project tests. The results of the knowledge test on 30 students and get a good average score value, amounting to 85.66%, and the field of skills or projects of 85.66%, thus achieving very high criteria.

Abstract

Meningkatnya populasi kendaraan bermotor di Indonesia secara otomatis juga membutuhkan stok bahan bakar bertambah setiap tahun, hal ini akan membuat persediaan bahan bakar menipis dan harga bahan bakar yang meningkat naik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan turbo elektrik pada mesin sepeda motor Honda Supra X 125 FI 2017. Penambahan turbo elektrik ini bertujuan agar udara yang masuk ke dalam intake manifold menjadi lebih banyak daripada kondisi standarnya. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen, metode yang digunakan untuk menguji suatu perlakuan atau desain baru dengan cara membandingkan sebelum perlakuan dan sesudah perlakuan sebagai pengontrolnya.Pengaruh penambahan turbo elektrik terhadap kondisi standar terdapat peningkatan torsi rata-rata 6,06% dan peningkatan daya rata-rata 6,06%, penurunan konsumsi bahan bakar rata-rata 8,11%, penurunan emisi gas buang CO rata-rata 29,6% dan HC rata-rata 17,5%, dan juga terjadi peningkatan laju aliran udara dalam intake manifold rata-rata 7,6%. The increasing population of motor vehicles in Indonesia automatically also requires an increase in fuel stocks every year, which will make fuel supplies thin and fuel pricesrise. The addition of electric turbo on injection motorcycles can affect the motorcycle engine demonstration. This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of electric turbo on the motorcycle engine of the Honda Supra X 125 FI 2017. The addition of this electric turboprop is aimed at ensuring that the air entering the manifold intake is more than its standard conditions. The effect of adding the electrical turbo to the standard conditions is an increase in average torque of 6,06% and an improvement in average power of 6,06%, a reduction in average fuel consumption of 8,11%, a decrease in average CO exhaust gas emissions of 29,6% and HC of an average of 17.5%, and also a increase in the air flow rate in the average manifold Intake of 7.6%.

Abstract

This research was a mechanism regarding the Contribution of Implementing Aspects (K3) to student learning outcomes in class XI PMKR Subjects, TKR Department at SMKN 2 Payakumbuh. The application of K3 aspects in vocational high schools has a very big influence on students’ practice learning outcomes, to create maximum learning outcomes, there is an important connection with the application of K3 aspects. This research method was descriptive correlational research which aimed to find out whether there is a relationship between K3 aspects and students’ practical learning outcomes. In addition, to explain the research trial, there is a relationship between the application of occupational safety and health (K3) aspects to students’ vocational learning outcomes. In the trial, several points will be measured later, namely testing the validation of the trial questionnaire and testing the reliability of the questionnaire

Abstract

Efisiensi sistem pengapian pada sepeda motor sangat penting untuk menunjang performa dan konsumsi bahan bakar yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh variasi flash cable terhadap tegangan primer coil pada sepeda motor injeksi (FI). Tiga jenis lilitan flash cable yaitu 11, 16, dan 21 lilitan diuji untuk melihat peningkatan tegangan yang dihasilkan. Metode eksperimen kuantitatif digunakan dengan alat pengukuran berupa peak voltage adaptor yang dihubungkan ke multimeter digital. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa variasi panjang flash cable secara signifikan memengaruhi tegangan primer coil, di mana flash cable dengan 21 lilitan memberikan peningkatan tegangan tertinggi sebesar 261,625 V, dibandingkan dengan kondisi tanpa flash cable yang hanya mencapai 219 V. Penggunaan flash cable dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pengapian, performa, dan efisiensi bahan bakar sepeda motor FI.  The ignition system's efficiency in motorcycles is critical to support optimal performance and fuel consumption. This study aims to analyze the effect of flash cable variations on the primary tension of the coil in injection motorcycles (FI). Three types of flash cable windings, i.e., 11, 16, and 21 windings, are tested to see the increase in voltage produced. The quantitative experiment method uses a measurement tool as a peak voltage adapter connected to a digital multimeter. The results showed that the variation in the length of the flash cable significantly affected the primary voltage of the coil, where the flash cable with 21 windings provided the highest voltage increase of 261.625 V, compared to the condition without the flash cable, which only reached 219 V. Flash cable can improve the ignition efficiency, performance, and fuel efficiency of FI motorcycles.

Abstract

Turbo Cyclone Electric memiliki sistem kendali yang kurang efisien pada aktifasi sistem tidak otomatis dan kurangnya kecepatan putaran Turbo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengaktifkan sistem secara otomatis dan meningkatkan putaran Turbo. Jenis metode yaitu metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dalam bidang otomotif. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dengan memodifikasi sistem kendali pada Turbo Cyclone Electric yaitu, sistem dapat aktif secara otomatis saat kunci kontak on dan meningkatkan tegangan maksimal yang masuk ke sistem sebesar 4,7V. Sebelum dimodifikasi tegangan maksimal dari Throttle Position Sensor sebesar 2,8V, setelah dimodifikasi menggunakan menggunakan Electric Throttle Conversion Kit yang disesuaikan bukaan pedal gas menghasilkan tegangan maksimal sebesar 7,5V sehinga putaran pada Turbo lebih efisien. Turbo Cyclone Electric has a control system that is less efficient due to non-automatic activation of the system and a lack of Turbo rotation speed. The aim of this research is to activate the system automatically and increase Turbo rotation. The type of method is the research and development method in the automotive sector. The results of research that has been carried out by modifying the control system on the Turbo Cyclone Electric are that the system can activate automatically when the ignition key is on and increase the maximum voltage entering the system by 4.7V. Before being modified, the maximum voltage from the Throttle Position Sensor was 2.8V, after being modified using a menggunakan Electric Throttle Conversion Kit that adjusted the opening of the gas pedal, it produced a maximum voltage of 7.5V so that the Turbo rotation was more efficient.
