Abstract

The distinction between public and religious campuses often occurs in the community, the dividing barrier between the two has implications for the favorite attention of the nation's generation in choosing universities, and campuses based on religion are always superior. However, in the traces of developments at the State Islamic University KH. Achmad Siddiq has made significant progress every year, and the increasing interest of prospective students is forced to reject many applicants. It is the main attraction of this research for Then answer how the progress occurred. This research is a type of qualitative research, as a bridge so that the results are more in-depth the author will use integrative theory and approach the problem above with a psycho-sociological approach. The focuses that will be studied include; How is the pre-attention anomaly of new students in the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at UIN Jember? What is the process of reasoning? And the new paradigm of attention is developing? The results showed that the attention paradigm that emerged was the reasoning that was built after the anomaly and crisis in the selection of Islamic universities, there were three adjustment processes, namely economical commensurability, formal education commensurability, and moral commensurability. All three are carried out using a negotiation process of general expectations and the impact of anomalies which are believed to be a necessity of the era.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara Agraris dengan sektor pertanian menjadi salah satu kunci utama. Peningkatan produksi pertanian berkorelasi positif dengan penggunaan pestisida. Jika tidak bijak, pestisida menyebabkan berbagai masalah kesehatan. Untuk mencegah dan mengurangi efek buruk paparan pestisida, penting untuk menggunakan alat pelindung diri (APD) pada petani. Kegiatan ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi perilaku kepatuhan dan memberikan edukasi penggunaan APD untuk menghindari paparan pestisida. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui kerjasama FK Universitas Jember, pemerintah desa dan puskesmas Jenggawah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di balai Dusun Gayasan B pada 18-19 Juni 2022, pukul 07.30-13.00 WIB. Jumlah sasaran dalam dua hari sebanyak 300 peserta. Tim pelaksana terdiri atas dosen, mahasiswa dan tenaga pendukung kegiatan, yang berjumlah 20 orang. Kegiatan terdiri atas pemeriksaan TTV, antropometri, anamnesis, identifikasi dan konseling mengenai penggunaan APD dilakukan oleh mahasiswa, dan konseling kesehatan dilakukan oleh dosen. Jumlah warga yang hadir dalam 2 hari mencapai 317 orang, dengan jumlah petani sebanyak 134 orang. 62 dari 134 petani menggunakan APD. Jenis APD yang sering digunakan oleh para petani adalah masker, baju lengan panjang dan sarung tangan. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran petani terkait pentingnya APD, sehingga terbentuk masyarakat agrikultur yang sehat dan diharapkan visi Agromedis Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Jember terimplementasi riil sebagai salah satu tri dharma perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are the first treatment choice for pain relief in osteoarthritis (OA). However, known to have an 85% risk of side effects on the gastrointestinal and a 40% chance of cardiovascular complications. In addition, in certain classes of NSAIDs, the risk of chronic kidney disease increases due to long-term consumption. On the other hand, dextrose prolotherapy is a regenerative therapy. This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of oral NSAIDs with dextrose prolotherapy in knee OA based on clinical features. This study used an observational method (cross-sectional) conducted in three locations; Jember Clinic Hospital, Balung Hospital, and Harapan Mulya Kertonegoro Jenggawah Clinic from September 2021 to March 2022. Of the 75 population, 23 patients with mild to moderate knee OA were divided into two groups; 15 samples of dextrose prolotherapy and eight samples of oral NSAIDs. Data in the study showed the mean WOMAC score in the dextrose prolotherapy group was 12.4±11.7, while the oral NSAID group was 34.75±17.6. A total of 14 samples experienced a decrease in scores after switching from oral NSAIDs to dextrose prolotherapy. Bivariate analyses were performed using Mann-Whitney and Wilcoxon tests. Both statistical tests show a p=0.001 (p<0.05). Thus, this study concluded that dextrose prolotherapy was more effective than oral NSAIDs in knee OA.

Abstract

Cigarette smoke exposure is the major risk of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, the third cause of death worldwide. Inhaled smoke triggers oxidative stress resulting in airway epithelium thickening and cilia shortening. Shallot (Allium cepa L.) peel contains flavonoid which can neutralize oxidative stress. This study aims to determine correlation between shallot peel infusion (SPI), bronchus epithelium thickness, and cilia length in cigarette smoke-induced rats; and establish maximum effective dose of SPI. Rats were divided into normal; cigarette; SPI 125, 250, 500, 1,000, 2,000 mg/kgBW groups. Two hours after administration, rats were exposed to cigarette smoke 2 cigarettes/day for 28 days. Hematoxylin-eosin-stained bronchus was observed and variable measurements were carried out. Comparation tests of epithelium thickness and cilia length between normal and cigarette group showed significant difference (p<0.05); Pearson coefficient between SPI dose and epithelium thickening was -0.614, Spearman coefficient between SPI dose and cilia length was 0.860; and maximum effective dose to prevent bronchus epithelium thickening and cilia shortening are 1,275.4 mg/kgBW and 1,325.8 mg/kgBW. In conclusion, the higher the SPI dose, the lower epithelium thickness, the higher cilia length. Maximum effective dose of SPI to prevent bronchus epithelium thickening and cilia shortening are 1,275.4 mg/kgBW and 1,325.8 mg/kgBW.

Abstract

Radical Islam, as the basis of political movements, has been widely studied by scholars and political observers. The existing study efforts have produced many findings based on the perspectives and approaches used from an economic, social, cultural, to theological point of view. However, there still needs to be an Islamic ethical perspective to examine the model of the Islamic political movement. This article examines the thoughts of Abid Al-Jabiri regarding the concept of social ethics from a new point of view. This library research describes Al-Jabiri's ethical thinking based on his works. The results of this study indicate 1) The roots of the emergence of the political Islam movement departed from a literalist understanding of Islamic teachings so that the political goal to establish an Islamic state in Indonesia was born from a misinterpretation of Islamic teachings 2) The contours of the movement were identity politics born of the dichotomous paradigm 3) and the consequences This movement contradicts Al-Jabiri's Islamic ethical thought which emphasizes the public benefit and goodness because the acts of terror carried out have no implications for the benefit of the Indonesian people.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has brought significant transformation in the banking sector, especially through the introduction of mobile banking services. Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) became a pioneer with the launch of BSI Mobile in February 2021, which allows customers to make banking transactions easily through smartphones. However, to improve the quality of service, BSI launched a new application, BYond by BSI, as a replacement for BSI Mobile. The app is designed to provide a more modern, fast, and efficient digital banking experience, as well as integrate social and spiritual features, such as zakat services and prayer timers. This study aims to analyze the impact of the migration from BSI Mobile to BYond by BSI on consumer comfort and satisfaction at BSI KCP Jember Karimata. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with direct observation. The results of the study show that BYond by BSI has managed to attract more than 3 million active users in the two months after the launch, which reflects the positive response from customers. This transformation is in line with the government's commitment to encourage digitalization in the Islamic banking sector and is expected to strengthen BSI's position as a leading Islamic bank in Indonesia, with a target of reaching 10 million users by the end of 2025.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to evaluate and explain how brand awareness, price perception, and online customer reviews affect customer decisions to buy pinkflash cosmetic products in shopee e-commerce. The population in this study was female students in Malang city, this study uses a quantitative approach. The sample was determined using the Maholtra formula, resulting in a total of 85 samples. This study uses SPSS 24 for data analysis tools. These include validity, reliability, normality, classical assumptions, hypotheses, multiple linear regressions, and the Adjusted R2 determination coefficient. The results of the study show that brand awareness, price perception, and online customer reviews have a significant simultaneous effect on purchase decisions. However, in non-simultaneous analysis brand awareness does not have a significant effect on purchase decisions, while price perception and online customer reviews play a significant role in purchase decisions. Keywords: Brand Awareness, Price Perceptions, Online Customer Review, Purchase Decision.

Abstract

Abstract This research uses purchase intention as the dependent variable to see how the independent variables of digital advertising, influencer marketing and product quality can affect the purchase intention variable in students. The study used a survey method of non-probability sampling and purposive sampling with a sampling technique of judgment sampling, a predetermined sample of 90 with data analysis tests using SPSS ver 25. The results show that the independent variables of digital advertising, influencer marketing and product quality all have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable of purchase intention. This shows that all independent variables contribute to understanding consumer behavior in the digital era, especially among college students as a potential market segment in the Southeast Asia region. For policy makers and e-commerce industry players, these results can be used as a foundation in designing marketing strategies that are more effective and in accordance with market characteristics in each country. Keywords: Digital Advertising, Influencer Marketing, Product Quality, Purchase Intention

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to analyze how the influence of the Influencer Marketing, Content Marketing, and Online Customer Review on purchase decisions of PVN Shoes items in Malang City. The method used is quantitative with sampling techniques based on the Malhotra formula, resulting in 90 respondents. Data analysis used is multiple linear regression with SPSS 26 analysis tools, complemented by partial (t test) and simultaneously (F test) hypothesis testing. The result showed that the three had a significant effect both partially and simultaneously on purchase decisions. The findings of this research indicate that the importance of digital marketing strategies in the form of Influencer Marketing, Content Marketing and Online Customer Review in improving consumer purchasing decisions. Keywords: Influencer Marketing, Content Marketing, Online Customer Review and Purchase Decisions

Abstract

Program pelatihan Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris Berbasis Artificial Intelligence (AI) Bagi guru dan Siswa dilingkungan Madrasah Aliyah (Ma) Miftahul Hasanah Gondosuli merupakan salah satu bentuk keterlibatan dan kontribusi langsung sivitas akademika Universitas Islam Malang untuk mengimplementasikan poin ketiga Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi terkait Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Tujuan dari program pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Bahasa inggris siswa Madrasah Aliyah (Ma) dengan menafaatkan aplikasi AI dalam bidang pengajaran Bahasa inggris. Kegiatan ini melibatkan partisipasi para guru dan siswa di lingkungan Madrasah Aliyah (Ma) Miftahul Hasanah Gondosuli yang berlokasi di Kabupaten probolinggo, jawa timur. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan peninjauan kebutuhan siswa yang berada di Madrasah Aliyah (Ma) Miftahul Hasanah Gondosuli Kegiatan peninjauan ini dilakukan secara eksklusif dengan partisipasi pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan. Langkah selanjutnya adalah menentukan lokasi diselenggerakannya program pengabdian masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dibagi menjadi 2 tahapan, tahapan pertama yaitu mengkonsep dan pembuatan materi yang akan dilaksankan. Tahapan kedua adalah pelaksanaan yaitu pemberian materi terkait dengan pemanfaatan aplikasi AI dalam pembelajaran Bahasa inggris kemudian dan pendampingan penggunaan aplikasi AI serta pembagian doorprize dan ceramah motivasi bagi siswa oleh para dosen sebagai penutup acara. Berdasakan hasil survei yang diperoleh dari peserta, kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dan bermanfaat bagi mereka. Selain itu, kegiatan tersebut juga menginspirasi peserta yaitu para untuk meningkatkan standar pengajaran mereka dengan memanfaatkan Artificial Intelligencei (AI) sebagai media pembelajaran di kelas, dengan tujuan meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa siswa, khususnya dalam bahasa Inggris.
