Abstract

As a tourist destination, North Lombok possesses substantial natural and cultural potential; however, the challenges in constructing the destination's image are primarily associated with the digital literacy of the local populace. This article examines the efficacy of participatory marketing communication in integrating the image of tourism destinations in North Lombok through community empowerment and community-based digital strategies. Utilizing a case study approach, this research investigates the effectiveness of community-based marketing in reinforcing destination branding. The study's findings indicate that the community's active engagement in promoting tourism plays a crucial role in shaping destination branding, wherein destinations that combine natural and cultural elements exhibit significant potential for development as sustainable tourism assets. Furthermore, the suboptimal synergy among government entities, the community, and tourism industry stakeholders represents a considerable impediment to achieving integrated and sustainable destination promotion. The wisdom of Wetu Telu serves as a foundation for fostering social harmony amidst diversity and multiculturalism, maintaining social stability, and encouraging the development of a tolerant society prepared to accommodate diverse tourist backgrounds in inclusive and sustainable tourism development.

Abstract

The dynamics and development of the tourism industry in the global era promises opportunities for other fields to develop. With the aim of maximizing the use of online media in the tourism industry, especially Gili Nanggu destination objects, this paper seeks to explore various destination promotion and marketing strategies that can increase tourist visits. Using a qualitative approach with single-object case studies and statistical data analysis in online media, this paper concludes the importance of local government support in the development of Gili Nanggu tourism and surrounding islands through regulations based on integrated destination sustainability and oriented towards efforts to increase local native income such as promoting the surrounding area through ease of investment for the private sector. The importance of synergy of cooperation with the private sector in designing sustainable tourism destination development is a homework with the government and all stakeholders involved. In addition, to attract more visitors, promotional objectives must be expanded such as efforts to save the environment and tourism sustainability continue to be echoed by involving endowsers or influencers to lift the image of the destination through optimization online media.

Abstract

Kampung Saren Jawa is a unique example of how different cultural and religious identities can coexist in a multicultural society. This study aims to understand how social interaction, communication between individuals, and the influence of cultural and religious values ​​​​in creating social harmony amidst the diversity of Bali which is better known for its Hindu majority. Qualitative research methods were used with a qualitative descriptive approach involving in-depth interviews with village residents, religious leaders, and local government representatives. The results of the study show that social communication in Kampung Saren Jawa is strongly influenced by the values ​​​​of friendship, tolerance, and mutual respect between individuals. Despite religious and cultural differences, openness in communication and strengthening social ties based on mutual cooperation and local traditions play an important role in maintaining harmony. The role of community leaders, both from religious and customary circles, is also crucial in mediating differences and building mutual respect. These findings provide important insights for the study of social communication and interfaith interaction in a multicultural context, as well as its relevance in strengthening social cohesion in Indonesia, especially in areas with high ethnic and religious diversity.

Abstract

In the digital era, children are increasingly familiar with technology, but there are still few technology-based media specifically designed for educational purposes, particularly those aimed at developing critical thinking skills. Most existing digital media are entertainment games without educational content. Although technological advancements have been rapid, research underpinning the development of educational digital media to foster critical thinking skills in early childhood remains limited. This creates a gap between field needs and the availability of effective solutions. The goal of this research is to develop an effective E-Way Game platform as a digital medium to stimulate critical thinking skills in early childhood. The research subjects consist of 2 material expert validators, 2 media expert validators, 3 users (teachers), and 20 children (aged 4–6 years). The research and development method employs the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques include observation sheets and questionnaires, with data analysis conducted using descriptive quantitative methods. The results of the media expert validation test scored 88% (very feasible), the material validation test scored 94% (very feasible), the user test scored 85% (very feasible), the small group test scored 86% (very feasible), and the large group test scored 94% (very feasible). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the E-Way Game platform is highly feasible for use in improving children's critical thinking skills. The implications of this media development serve as a reference for digital learning media aimed at stimulating critical thinking skills in children aged 4–6 years.

Abstract

Upacara Yadnya merupakan salah satu praktek ritual umat Hindu dalam beragama. Di masa Pandemi Covid-19, praktek tersebut tentu harus disesuaikan tanpa menghilangkan filosofi ritual yang telah dilakukan. Artikel ini bertujuan mengetahui dan menganalisis pelaksanaan upacara, kendala yang dihadapi, serta strategi komunikasi yang diterapkan dalam pelaksanaan Upacara yadnya di Kecamatan Sekotong Lombok Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan metode observasi non partisipan, wawancara terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Landasan teori yang digunakan adalah religiusitas dan komunikasi interpersonal. Data dianalisis dengan tiga tahap yakni reduksi, display, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) Pelaksanaan Upacara Yadnya tetap dilaksanakan dengan tingkatan yadnya madya dan nista pada saat pandemi COVID-19 dengan protokol kesehatan ketat dan menggunakan sarana dan tata cara yang sederhana. (2) Kendala yang dihadapi yakni: masyarakat belum terbiasa dengan protokol kesehatan sesuai himbauan, kegiatan masyarakat yang lebih banyak di ladang , dan kurangnya pemahaman/kesadaran dari masyarakat terhadap himbauan protokol kesehatan. (3) Strategi komunikasi yang digunakan melalui Sangkep banjaran dan penyampaian himbauan secara langsung duwe karya dan masyarakat umum, melakukan pendekatan personal, dan memanfaatkan berbagai saluran komunikasi untuk menyampaikan informasi terutama media online.

Abstract

Komunitas Lombok Influencer merupakan komunitas pertama dan terbesar yang menghimpun para selebgram di Nusa Tenggara Barat. Komunitas ini bertujuan membantu UMKM dan pelaku usaha dalam memilih selebgram untuk mempromosikan produk mereka dan meningkatkan brand awareness dari produk yang dipasarkan. Sejauh ini sudah terdapat dua UMKM Hindu yang menggunakan jasa Komunitas Lombok Influencer yaitu Raos Udeng Bali dan Simfony Kebaya Botique. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran komunikasi komunitas, strategi komunikasi, dan implikasi komunikasi anggota Komunitas Lombok Influencer dalam meningkatkan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah Hindu di Kota Mataram. Untuk menganalisis hal tersebut menggunakan teori Stimulis Organism Respons (SOR) dan teori Uses and Gratifications. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komunikasi komunitas Lombok Influencer memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan brand awareness UMKM Hindu baik secara internal maupun eksternal. Pemanfaatan media digital yang berkembang merupakan strategi yang dimaksimalkan oleh admin Lombok Influencer, anggota komunitas, dan UMKM Hindu dalam mempromosikan postingan kontennya, serta hasil dari konten tersebut berupa insight postingan dari masing-masing selebgram yang dipilih.

Abstract

Pembinaan mental bagi prajurit dan PNS di lingkungan Korem merupakan upaya menjaga stabilitas mental prajurit. Berbagai tantangan yang dihadapi dalam konteks menjalankan tugas negara, maka salah satu pembinaan mental yang dilakukan berkaitan dengan penguatan pemahamanakan ajaran agama. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bentuk pembinaan mental rohani, strategi pembinaan, serta menganalisis kendala yang dihadapi dalam pembinaan mental rohani prajurit dan PNS Hindu Korem 162/Wira Bhakti dimasa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengambilan data menggunakan meode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bentuk pembinaan mental rohani di Korem 162/Wira Bhakti dimasa pandemi menggunakan metode (1) Dharma Wacana, (2) Dharma Tula, (3) Dharma Gita, (4) Dharma Yatra. Strategi pembinaan mental berdasarkan pada fungsi komando yaitu: (1) dengan mencari dan meminta penyuluh agama yang bergantian agar tidak merasa jenuh, (2) dengan menggunakan sarana dan menyampaikan cerita-cerita agama, (3) Tema penyampaian dikemas sesuai kontek kekinian. Sedangkan kendala yang dihadapi dikarenakan tugas dinas yang tidak bisa ditinggalkan (tugas khusus) dari pimpinan, minimnya penyuluh yang berkompeten yang disiasati dengan solusi mengadakan kerjasama dengan Bidang Bimas Hindu, serta dengan memanfaatkan media online seperti media sosial Whatsapp.

Abstract

Nyepi Day celebration is a local wisdom of Hindu community in Bali, where theyappliedCatur Brata Penyepiaan for 24 hours. Streets in Bali are free from vehicle emmision, street lights, centraloffices lights and house resident lights, local television broadcasting is turned off, airports and sea portswere also closed. Besides the spiritual meaning, Catur Brata Penyepiaan on Nyepiday is a wise actionin order to efficient use of fuel oil (BBM), mean while the government thinking of fuel subsidies,Balinese Hindu community has been able to save on fuel usage since long time ago.Liputan6.com data showed Indonesia's oil production reached 798 000 barrels per day in 2014,while the fuel consumption soared Indonesia reaches approximately 1.9 million barrels per day in 2014.There was a difference of approximately 1.1 million barrels per day. The supply shortages are derivedfrom imports.In this study calculated the projected fuel consumption in Bali and Indonesia in terms ofpopulation growth from 2015 to 2030 and the efficient use of fuel on Nyepi Day against national fuelconsumption in liters / day and per year from 2015 until 2030.From the calculation of contributions efficiency of fuel consumption per day during Nyepi Dayto fuel consumption nationally with an average contribution of 1.6129%, while the contribution ofefficiency in fuel consumption per year during Nyepi Day to national fuel consumption with an averagecontribution of 0 , 00 448%.

Abstract

The Electricity System in Bali continues to experience growth every year, where increasing demand for electricity is affected by the increase in the number of electricity consumers in one phase and consumers of electricity in three phases. The Gas Diesel Power Plant (PLTDG) in fulfilling the electricity needs in Bali can supply 200 MW of electricity, sourced from 12 generators. Along with the increase in various types of electricity consumers in Bali, the problem arises in the PLTDG Pesanggaran, namely the occurrence of unbalanced current. A large unbalanced current can cause a trip or a sudden death at the PLTDG Pesanggaran’s generator.Based on the results of the study, the percentage of unbalanced current that occur in the PLTDG in normal conditions ranges between 2% to 3%. But at the time of the trip to the unit 6 generator due to unbalanced current, the percentage of unbalanced current that appeared on the generator just before the trip was 21.69% and has been going on for more than 58 minutes, which exceeds the setting of the relay which only allows a percentage unbalanced current under 8% with a maximum time of 58 minutes. During the trip, the generator only operated 1 unit in block 2, so the magnitude of the unbalanced carried by the generator unit 6 itself.

Abstract

The role of technology is very important in an automatic watering monitoring system that works based on the YL69 sensor and DHT11 sensor. This study aims to determine the working principle of sensors in a plant watering monitoring system with mobile applications (Blynk) and thingspeak web. Thingspeak web design aims to process data recording. To process and dispatch YL69 sensor data and DHT11 sensor, the Arduino UNO microcontroller is used as well as a relay as a switch to drain and disconnect the electric current to the water pump. The design results show that this automatic plant watering monitoring system can work well, where the soil moisture is below <50%, the water pump will live "ON" and if the soil moisture is above> 60% the water pump will die "OFF". From the results of the design and testing of the monitoring system carried out it is able to monitor data from the YL69 sensor, DHT11 sensor and pump conditions in real-time with the mobile application (Blynk). While the thingspeak web can monitor and record YL69 sensor data, DHT11 sensors and pump conditions every 20 seconds..
