Abstract

Garbage is a classic problem that has been a common problem throughout the world, especially in Indonesia. Indonesia as a developing country, the waste problem should receive more attention. One type of waste that should receive more attention is plastic waste. There are many ways to manage plastic waste so that it does not have an impact on the ecosystem. One of the recycling processes that are environmentally friendly and does not cost a lot of money is ecobricks. Ecobricks are the use of environmentally friendly plastic waste that is used as useful items such as chairs or tables. Environmental empowerment of the Aisyiyah Orphanage through training on processing plastic waste with an easy and innovative ecobric making method was carried out on Jl. Cross Sumatra, Bathin III District, Bungo Regency. With the aim of teaching how to make ecobricks in waste reduction only. However, it can also educate plastic waste which is a major environmental problem on earth. Therefore, the Aisyiyah Orphanage became a partner in this activity as a form of movement for a sense of concern for the environment. The service activities were well received by the children in the orphanage, they were super active in participating in the activities. Abstract

The problem in this study is the low process and learning outcomes of students in science learning, this is evidenced by the results of observations and school documentation which shows that of 19 students only 47% have met the KKM. This research was conducted in Class V SDN 188/VIII Wiroto Agung. The purpose of this study was to describe and determine the application of the jigsaw cooperative model in increasing the activities and learning outcomes of science in class V. The method used in this study was classroom action research (CAR). This research consists of 2 cycles, each cycle is carried out through 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection and consists of 2 meetings. The results of the study can be explained as follows: (1) the application of the jigsaw cooperative model in learning activities seen from the observation sheet, namely the first cycle from the teacher aspect 84% and the student aspect 57% while in the second cycle there was an increase in the teacher aspect 91% and the student aspect 73 % who have reached the success indicator. (2) the application of the jigsaw cooperative model in learning in the first cycle is still not optimal. It can be seen from the test results in the first cycle that only 32% of students met the KKM and in the second cycle there was an increase of 79% of students who met the KKM. Abstract

This study sought to ascertain the impact of split jump training on pencak silat competitors' front kicking proficiency. This study blended quantitative techniques with an experimental methodology. A pretest-posttest design with a single group was used. Purposive sampling was utilized to establish a sample size of 15 from the 38 athletes in the research population. Data collection was conducted through a pretest and posttest for the athletes' front kicking abilities. Data analysis involved two stages: (a) data normality testing to ensure data distribution, and (b) a paired-sample t-test to identify significant changes between pretest and posttest data. According to the study's findings, the posttest score was greater than the pretest, averaging 21.60 with a standard deviation of 2.02. The results of the normality test indicated that the data had a normal distribution (Sig. > 0.05). With an average rise of 2.87 points and a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), the paired sample t-test findings demonstrated a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. This demonstrates that split jump training significantly improves Pagar Nusa pencak silat athletes' front kick speed.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises have a strategic role in regional growth, one of which is in Bathin VIII District, Sarolangun. However, the results of the situasion analysis show that the majority of business actors have not implemented cash bookkeeping neatly and regularly. The problems faced by business actors are low financial literacy, not only the routine recording of incoming and outgoing cash, but also the mixing of business finances with personal finances. This condition causes business actors to experience difficulties in knowing profit and loss, determining selling prices, and making data-based business decisions. The aim of this service is to improve the orderly financial administration of business actors through the implementation of simple cash bookkeeping assistance. The implementation method uses an approach that involves participation which consists of several stages, namely preparation, socialization, training and mentoring. Mentoring is carried out through direct practce of manual cash bookkeeping and the use of smartphone-based financial recording applications that are easily accessible to business actors. The results of the activity show an increase in understanding and skills of business actors in recording financial transantions in an orderly, systematic and sustainable manner. Business owners are starting to be able to separate personal and business finance and understand cash flow and profit and loss conditions more accurately. Therefore, this activity helps strengthen the financial management of MSMEs and supports the improvement and competitiveness of micro-businesses in Sarolangun Regency.
